I started having issues with my video card overheating, despite being on a cooling pad. After some research I determined that the issue was that the fans were probably either dead or failing and needed to be replaced. I called Adrian, who was able to pick up my laptop at my house and returned it to my house (sweet!). It did take almost 2 weeks for my laptop to be repaired as it is a computer that he doesn't usually work on so he didn't have spare parts just lying around (completely cool - I knew that was doing to happen). Then they ran diagnostic tests that revealed RAM faults, requiring a new motherboard. In a few days, the new motherboard arrived, and now the computer is back home and working perfectly. This is the same sort of experience I've had before with the Computer Technology Center, so I was not surprised. Their office is open--they don't take your machine to another room. They'll do the diagnosis right in front of you. If the repair is simple, they'll make the repair while you watch. This openness gives one great confidence in their work.
