Steve of IT Consulting in Glendale, NY, did an exceptional job removing an old graphic card and installing a new one I provided into a small Pc case. There were 39 screws that had to be removed to do this feat, including a ground down screw that I ruined. Bravo! The astonishing thing was when Steve said -paraphrasing-' we engineers do not give up'. He fit the new and slightly larger graphic card into what seemed an impossibly small space. I dropped the Pc off on a rainy Thursday evening and on the next possible day they were open ( due to COVID, there were limited days of service), I picked up the PC. I'm a long time customer of ITC and whenever I had a problem with my computers ITC repaired the problem promptly and kept me running seamlessly to my delight. Recently though my laptop had some very thorny problems and it took several visits to get it up and running 100%. For me though you don't really know the character of the people your working with until you face some hard times with them. My iPad was frozen on the apple logo screen and after trying for 4 hours to fix it myself with the Apple community message board help I decided it was time for a professional to fix it. Unfortunately the Apple store nearest me didn't have appointments till Wednesday. I took it to IT Consulting at 4pm. Steve was in constant contact with me and it was fixed by 6pm. Don't buy computers or services from this company, the computers are old models without call ID, the programs are outdated and unprofessional. It's very difficult to use, and the company's reputation is extremely bad, and the after-sales service is even worse. There is no one in customer service, and there is no way to contact people when there is a problem with the computer. That's what a company is about to fail. Needed a few keys replaced on my wife's computer but turned out the whole keyboard needed replacing. Unfortunately the holidays put some extra days on the delivery of said keyboard. Ended up needed the laptop to pay some finance. Steve brought the laptop back to me about a week later with an external keyboard (courtesy keyboard) to get my finances in order. My all-in-one PC was a mess: touchscreen was shot and crashed constantly. Went to another local repair shop and it sat there for weeks with no resolution. Tony diagnosed the problem quickly and recommended not to repair due to the high cost and labor needed. My desktop can not restart and the tech even restart it and helped us with a laptop. I am not saying they will do that with everyone but they have the best customer service and prices. I think it was 129 for a home visit but don't hold me to it. Just make sure you have all the computer problems you need to be fixed in line and they will take care of it.
