I should have known from the reviews that this would not be a good salon, but my friend had heard from a few locals it was. From the start, the woman who met with me when I walked in had an attitude when I gave her my appointment info---name and time stuff. She couldn't understand why I didn't know who I'd have work on my nails. I didn't book the appointment, so uh, yea. I asked her to check her book and she looked at me like I was from space. Problems already?!? Since my friend booked us together, I thought we'd be there the whole time chatting since that's pretty normal. They kept us next to each other for the pedicure but even though the nail area was empty they separated us. The salon was empty so it really made no sense! The pedicure was ok. They use a blue tablet that looks like tums to get the 'spa' water going. If that isn't tacky enough, they keep the tabs in an old plastic ice cream tub. If I didn't tell the tech my water in the tub was going to overflow there definitely would have been a mess. My nail tech was not very friendly, but what really annoyed me was how my pedicure pretty much just looked like a color change and was a choppy paint job. My feet weren't smooth like they normally are after a pedicure. My manicure went okay but when I finished they didn't sit me in front the dryers most salons have. Instead, they used a tiny little dollar store fan to HOLD my hands upright in front of, lol. It was tacky & another cheap thing they do. When I went to leave no one said anything. It was really beat. All in all it was a crappy and unprofessional experience. I'd rather not get my nails done than come here again. read more

Where do I begin. Being from out of town and searching for a "great" nail salon I turned to my trusty fellow yelpers. I settled in iSpa and Nails. The GPS directed me to the location, not realizing it was the back of their salon as opposed to the front. However, a young lady opened the door and welcomed us in anyway. Her name was Lucy. The salon was kept very neat and clean. They address clients as soon as they walk in and don't leave them just sitting there wondering if they're going to be helped or not. Lucy Lucy Lucy! I wish we could take her back home with us. She was amazing from start to finish. We both got pedicures, and she made us feel very comfortable and she engaged us with good conversation and told us of a couple of local places frequently mentioned by her clients. She took her time and didn't rush us. My son got a pedicure minus the polish and stuff. He was over the moon excited. She offered us something to drink and even gave us VIP rewards cards to use each time we return. If Lucy is still there the next time we return we will definitely be paying her a visit. Absolutely mortified! I asked for a spa pedicure and got crap! They sat me at a chair that had someone else's trash sitting there the entire time. She asked what scent I wanted, I asked what they had and all she knew was lavender. The massager made the arms on the chair bang very loudly, my paint job is horrific and this crap cost me $45!!! This was my second time using this salon. I asked for a pedicure and a dip manicure with an almond shape to my nails. They gave me maybe a 20 minute pedicure and the manicure left a lot to be desired. They kept saying how they wanted to be out by 3 pm even though they don't close until 6. Both my pedicure and manicure were rushed. I was also told that putting gel polish on top of the dip powder was normal. I have never had it done this was before. There is no almond shape to my nail. It was not worth the money to get such a mediocre result. read more

I've only gotten my fingernails painted once before, so I didn't have too much to compare to, but iSpa and Nails left me feeling pretty happy about my french (foot) polish change. Walk-ins and appointments are welcome, so they are very flexible. I had come with some other ladies, my grandmother who got a pedicure, my aunt who got a manicure, and my sister who got a color change on her hands. We all got french polish changes, which does cost a little extra but is totally worth it. They started my grandmother's manicure right away, and I didn't have to wait too long before they got my color change going. I was happy with how my nails came out. The people there are nice, but don't really make too much conversation. If you're going with a bunch of people, expect to be there for quite some time, and separated if you're doing manicures and pedicures. read more

I came here with my friend and her niece as walk-ins the day before her wedding. All three of us were taken right away and together (I hate when places separate you). Her and I both got full sets and pedicures, and her 9 year old niece (who was her flower girl) got a mani and a pedi. Our nails turned out amazing! We each got Swarovski crystals on two of our fingers and same with our toes (gaudy wedding shimmer galore!) Her niece's nails came out adorable - with one crystal on two of her fingers and a cute little flower design on two fingers, very fitting for a flower girl. The pedicure chairs were great and the kids pedicure chair was perfect for her niece. The staff was very nice and welcoming. The rehearsal dinner for the wedding was that evening, and we began to run late with our nails (due to our own bad planning with time). Two staff members finished my friend's nails so we would make it to the dinner on time, but still did an amazing job. I work in Marlton but live in Sicklerville. Needless to say, I will definitely be making this my new nail salon! It's been a week now and my nails still look great and all of the crystals are still intact. I will be going back for a polish change some time this week and am pretty excited to return :) read more

I absolutely love coming to iSpa and Nails. I went for the first time a few weeks ago and requested Srey after hearing a ton of great reviews about her here. She exceeded my expectations. I was seated in her chair seconds after arriving and offered a complimentary drink. As she was doing my nails she was very engaging and also educated me on different tools/tips that were important to nail care. I love the fact that they have a plethora of nail decor options. I love changing my nails up and adding fun things to them and this salon keeps their products current. The only thing I don't like is that they clean their tools off with alcohol and reuse them. I have been going to iSpa for about 3 years now. I've always had a good experience but today they really let me down. I went in for a pedicure, refill and eyebrow. I picked the same color for my toes and nails. One was a gel the other was regular polish, same brand and color. (Yes I'm aware gel and regular can look slightly different). The pedicure goes well, I like the color of the regular polish (out of the blue I believe it was called). As he is finishing my nails I notice that my nail color does not look anything like my toes. It's gray, nothing close to the blue/purple on my toes. I made a comment and peter just said they were the same color. I told him I understood but they just look so different. He then waved his hand for me to go back to get my brows done. When I went to pay I wanted to use my discount card because I had my visits filled up. They told me even though my bill was over $40 I could not use the free eyebrow because I was not paying cash. I'm not sure where it says that on the card. They kept trying to explain it to me and I ended up paying the full price of $57. I tried making another comment to peter I asked if maybe they had a color that more closely resembled my toes since that was the color I really liked and I was disappointed I didn't even get to use my discount card and had to pay full price for something I'm not even happy with. He just said again that my nails and toes were the same color. Yes I understand technically they are the same color but they are not on nails. I'm not a confrontational person at all and I was starting to get a bit upset so I left. I'm just disappointed I expressed my concerns with the colors at least 3 times just to hear the same answer of "they are the same color". I would have even paid the price for a polish change, all I wanted was matching nails but I guess according to Peter they do match. read more

I cannot say enough great things about my favorite salon!! The atmosphere is relaxing, nice music, several tvs on low volume/mute, and very nice staff. I get a gel manicure every 3 (sometimes four!) weeks. Sometimes with designs and sometimes plain, but Srey is always sure to take care of me. Even if there is ever an issue (a crystal falls off or a nail breaks because of my own clumsiness) she always fixes it right away! Not to mention, that since everyone is so friendly there, when I come in for my appointment everyone says hello. Its nice to be a "regular" and to be acknowledged. Pedicures are great too. Nice chairs, and staff is always sure to ask you if youd like a drink. You can also BYOB for a nice relaxing weekend appointment with a girlfriend. Very large selection of OPI, China Glaze, etc, and ive never had an issue with nails chipping early. I get so many compliments on my nails, and I am always sure to refer everyone to iSpa! read more

The only negative thing I would say about my pedicure is that she didn't scrub/exfoliate as much as I'd like, but other than that she did great. I had Amy. They made sure my friend and I started at the same time, sat next to one another, participated in good conversation and brought us over to the mani stations at the same time. There's another salon in the area that I frequent for regular mani & pedis but I wanted to try a gel manicure & their color selections are limited. Off to yelp I went. People seemed to like this salon so I figured I would give it a try. They have a pretty large selection of gel colors & they also color match so I could have the same color (without the gel) on my toes. I also like they all the pedi spa chairs are in a separate room. Tina knew I was a first timer and was very gentle & explained each step of the gel manicure process. I actually let out a little scream after she finished the mani and applied lotion and a hot towel to my hands. I was like "my nails aren't dry!" She laughed. That gel dries quick! Very subpar pedicure. She spent minimal time cleaning my nails and didn't even scrape underneath my nails to get the yuckiness around and under nails. To me thats kinda of the point of a pedicure. Get the cuticles cut and also all the gunk around and under taken away. I had to ask her to please scrape under my nails when I noticed she didn't and she still didn't do it. My feet were massaged for 1 minute and then she was done. I'm used to at least having a nice little foot massage for 5 min or so at minimum. The pedicure was total 15 min. I won't be coming here again and highly do not recommend. read more

My friend who is a regular swore by them. She consistently had great experiences and her gel manicures lasts 3+ weeks so I had to give them a try. I got a pedicure by Peter and my friend got both a pedicure and gel manicure by Tina. Unlike other nail places I have been too, they were very nice and social with us. Also what set them apart was offering a drink when being seated. My pedicure was great. Peter took his time and was very efficient. After my friend got her pedicure she moved on to her manicure. After applying the color on her first finger, Tina noticed it was a tad lighter than the pedicure color. Tina walked away for a moment and came back and tried another color which matched perfect. No other place I know would care enough to bring it up themselves and fix it without the customer bringing it up themselves. Price was good too. Pedicure was around $25 and gel approx $38. I'm so happy to have found a nice nail salon so close to work! One of the things I missed most about working in Center City Philadelphia was the nail salon in my building, but I Spa & Nails is every bit as good-iof not better, and just as convenient for me. The space is decievingly large on the inside. They have many pedi chairs, and even cute little chairs for little girls. I only got a pedi here so far, but it was excellent & I will certainly be returning. The prices are on the high side of average ($25 for a pedi) but it's certainly worth it. Nice, clean nail salons with friendly staff aren't always easy to come by, so I am glad I found this one! read more

I made an appointment to get a full set of acrylics and a toe polish change for my senior prom. I had the appointment for 3pm. I walked in that day at 3:02 and no one was standing at the front counter checking people in. I wrote my name down and services I needed on the paper. I walked back to where my friend was already done getting her toes painting and her appointment was at 3 pm too. Not one worker said anything to me or acknowledged I was there. I picked out my nail color and stood there waiting and no one still said anything. After 5 mins of waiting a lady finally asked me what I was here for. I said I had a appointment for 3pm to get acrylics and polish change. She told me to wait in the pedicure chair a few mins until someone was finished and could come help me. I waited 35 mins. Finally a lady pointed to me to sit in the seat next to the person she was currently working on onto get my acrylics done, I sat in hopes I would actually get helped. Another lady walked into the salon who had an appointment at 3:15. She was acknowledged immediately and was seated before me. I said instantly that I had an appointment for 3pm and I'm still waiting. The lady's working there argued with me and told me I never had an appointment which is 100% false because I called to confirm it the day before. I never even got to get my toes done because I was late for a event I had for 4:30 and it took that long just to get my nails done due to not one employee acknowledging my existence. I was extremely disappointed by the people and the nails I was given. They were rude and did not show any care for their customers. read more
