I've been getting pedicures here for over 6 months now and finally decided to do a review The place has a lot of stations and very clean. They always welcome you when you walk in. I never make an appointment and show up at random days/times and never waited more than 10 minutes. I'm very happy with the pedicures. I always get the Milk and Honey pedicure. The service is inconsistent. Some techs are more thorough and careful than others. The service and attention to detail vary per tech. Maybe it's because I'm a walk in and they squeeze me in so I can't complain. I don't get my nails done (I should lol) so can't comment on that. Rating: I've been a loyal customer here for years, but my recent birthday visit was a total nightmare. While Anna did a great job on my pedicure, the manicure I received at Table 9 was unacceptable. I'm a nail hobbyist myself, so I was shocked by the lack of basic technique. I asked for a "tiny trim," and the technician chopped my natural nails off short. She skipped cuticle prep entirely and caked on the builder gel in layers so thick that I experienced severe, painful burning under the UV lamp. Because the cuticle work was ignored, the nails looked grown out before I even left, and several are visibly crooked. When I questioned the design--which looked nothing like the photo I had displayed the entire time--the technician caught an attitude. To make matters worse, it hasn't even been a week and the gel has already chipped, breaking my natural nail with it. The most frustrating part was trying to address this at checkout. The woman at the front desk was completely dismissive. She called the tech over, who blatantly lied and claimed I had only shown her a "zoomed-in photo of one nail." Despite the dishonest technician and the poor quality, the front desk still made me pay. They did apply a 10% discount, but it's important to note that this was from a coupon I had been texted prior to my appointment. They offered absolutely no compensation or discount for the substandard service or the fact that I was sat there in pain. I left practically in tears and with a ruined birthday treat. Technicians do not know what are they doing often, they trim nails too short before filing, uneven filing will require rework leaving your nails short, while cutting cuticles after nails are done they shave off nails requiring redone of nails, shaving off your nails too much before colors damage nails can be visible when new nail grows, uneven application of color, not using right products and techniques for manicure pedicure and most importantly you can not address their front desk or management as they do not take responsibilities of Very Poor services and treatments. i would avoid this place to go at five star places so you feel good after paying this much? read more

This was my bf and I's first and last time getting our nails done here. They charged him $35 for a manicure and the next day his nails looked butchered and skin where they cut was bleeding, red, and irritated. When he was in the chair they were pushing for him to get a pedicure and when he said no after several times they got pissed off.I got acrylics and it took almost 2 hours and they seemed annoyed that we were there. Came here to get my nails done from LEENA. As a professional nail tech she didn't bother to let me know that the glitter wouldn't cover and my natural nails would show through which made my manicure look absolutely terrible. I still tipped her and left because I didn't want to spend additional time to fix it. Now the nail salon blocked my phone number and won't allow me to make an appointment. I highly don't recommend this nail salon. For a $50 manicure you can go someplace else with better service. read more

This is not a scorned customer review, this is a carefully considered recount of my experience over years. I don't get my nails done very often, so I've never ventured beyond Luxe. For years I thought the quality of service was typical, and anywhere I went I would encounter these problems. That's because I had nothing to compare it to. I have been assured by a friend that other places do not let you leave with nails like the ones I've walked out with. The first time I went, I was disappointed with the shape and thickness of the dip, but I figured it was normal/my expectations were unreasonable and I would be a rude or annoying customer to tell them I was unsatisfied so I sucked it up and lived with it until I could file down. $80 wasted. The second time, I figured a try again, hoping the first time was a fluke. It wasn't; that just the quality and skill Luxe has. $70 and the nails were uneven length, embarrassingly thick, and not even clean at the cuticles. Yesterday, I decided to try once more. I'll let the picture speak for itself. I never ask for complicated or fancy things. Just basic, longer-lasting solid gel colors on my medium length natural nails. Finally I had to stop rationalizing this poor quality and start calling it for what it was: unskilled. I sent a picture to my friend mentioned earlier and she told me to go back and have them fix it for free because it was unacceptable for $63 plus a nice tip (be generous especially during COVID). I told her there was no point, they just can't do nails very well, I'm going to take the L because it's my fault I keep coming back after experiencing the same thing over and over. I just made her promise me not to let me come back. (Pics: the gold nails by the steering wheel are from my second visit in 2019. They're chunky right?The short white nails are what I got yesterday. I didn't accidentally swipe my nail edges on something before it dried, my tech painted and filed them down like this and cured it under the lamp like this. I don't think that we should be relying on customers to demand something be fixed, I think it should be done properly as default. Otherwise how would we know the true quality or skill if they're only good because customers have to be vigilant and demand redos.) I am completely disgusted. Ive had nothing but good experiences here until TODAY. I went to get my nails done with my family member. She brought her small newborn to enjoy a girls day of us getting our nails done. One of the techs had the nerve to ask if it was her first child...then proceeded to ask how many kids she had.. THEN PROCEEDS TO ASK IF ALL HER KIDS WERE FROM THE SAME FATHER! All while staring at her breast feeding in the waiting area. We will never be returning again. read more

I have been seeing the same nail tech for 20 years, this salon has new ownership. In the past I could get a mani pedi, full set with gel polish for around 70-80. They charged me $122 today because they up charged me $30 for gel polish and then a $20 up charge for stars on two nails. They told me nothing and I was shocked. It cost me $157 after tip for a mani pedi. The new ownership ruined this place and the girl that answered the phone was rude. I didn't argue inside the store because there were people there and I called her back and expressed my disappointment with the charges and she yelled at me and told me to come back and talk to her, while she was yelling at me. Needless to say I felt threatened and told her I would never come back there again. The new owner ruined this place. Over 20 years done because this owner is a crook. read more

Luxe nails is deceiving. They have an appealing atmosphere but their employees are really rude and prices are way too high. I came here for the dip nail powder manicure and I was handed off to three different people to get the job done. It was awkward and the entire time they were talking to each other like I wasn't there. They also only accept cash? (It's 2018 please accept other payment methods). Even though the woman asked how I would like to pay when a sign said cash only I said "oh can I pay with card" and she said can you pay with cash. My manicure cost 40$ (not including tip), way too much for the job that was done. I also asked for them to cut down my nails and the woman said they were cut down enough so I had to file them myself when I got home. I was livid. read more

I went to check this out since it is so close to my home in Moorestown. Inside is quite nice with all new equipment, beautiful pedicure chairs and lighting. So far, I went two times - once for gel refill and another for pedi and gel refill. Second time I had a $5 off coupon for refill/pedicure. Bill came to $52....$52 - $5 = $47! Hmmmm...get to the counter with coupon and was informed it would be $50 - ok, still confused. Because I signed up for frequent visit or preferred customer plan it would be $50?!?! I didn't want to argue so I paid the $50 + $10 tip. In addition, the constant speaking of the vietnamese language and looking at customers is a huge turnoff. Beyond that, the refill and pedi were just OK...had to come home a file nails due to being rough on the edges. I'm going to stick with my favorite place which is Tiffany Nails on Route 70. I've been to LuXe Nails & Spa three times, first for a pink and white ombre powder set and the other two times for refills. Pros: Great end result - The workers are thorough and meticulous. Posh, clean decor - The place looks great. Cons: Attitude - My manicurist noticed some discoloration on my nails because of some self-tanner and WOULD NOT SHUT UP ABOUT IT. I told her I wasn't really worried about it, but she just kept going on and on and ON. She started off with some (unsolicited) advice about how to avoid it and I nodded and said "Okay, yes, good idea" but then she just kept pursuing it. She finally dropped it and at one point I mentioned how I had gotten compliments on my nails and she STARTED IN AGAIN. "Yes, but you have to keep them nice..." If I wanted to be around controlling relatives, I'd simply go to a family function. Bait and $witch - Very expensive, although to be expected in the area. However, I do want to pay the price I'm quoted and each time I arrived at the cash register, the person ringing me up demanded $10-more. Unacceptable deal breaker. read more

Great customer service. You're always greeted when you walk in (on a first name basis if you're a regular). The salon manager is always onsite and helpful. If you are from Mount Laurel/ Burlington County keep a lookout in the local papers for coupons they offer. They offer great amenities: coffee, candy, water. I love this place. Couldn't give zero stars otherwise I would have. I have NEVER had so many nails break in such a short amount of time, and with very little "force"! I always get super long nails but started short this time, short nails have NEVER broken on me. Tonight, the 4th nail broke and I'm sick of super gluing them back on, so I took them all off. If anyone has ever taken nails off themself, you know they break and usually half a nail is stuck to your nail damn near impossible to take it off. The amazing decor of the interior is to distract you from the lack of skill these nail technicians possess. If you are looking for anything remotely trendy, please keep looking. The only shape they file your nail is square even though I only wear coffin shape. I received a fill-in twice from this location from two different techs and their shaping is horrible. The pedicure was fine but $40 for gel is pretty pricey. I will return to my regular salon in Cherry Hill. read more

Okay so this place is really nice on the inside. They have brand new equipment and a huge collection of colors, gel or regular. They don't have a lot of the snazzy stuff you might see on instagram as far as designs and gemstones and things like that. As far as pricing goes, I think for the area it's not anything astronomical. You can definitely find cheaper though. My issue with this place is their shaping. They don't shape nails well even after you tell them what you want. I always ask for coffin shape and it ends up usually looking square. Sometimes I feel like they rush through jobs and they are lazy when it comes to fixing nails whether it be lifting or a cracked nail. Instead of replacing it they just try and cover it with more acrylic. Also make and appointment!!!! I can't stress that enough. The girl (I wish I got her name) came back and said they would make an exception for me and do both at the same time! So while one girl was doing my pedicure, another brought a chair over to the pedicure station and started my manicure. I was so appreciative that they accommodated my last minute needs. I went to this place bc they have the dipping powder colors - I recently discovered SNS dipping powder colors while on vacation and fell in love. I found a salon about 45 min from me that does them beautifully but didn't feel like making the drive this time. So I saw this salon has a different brand called Revel Nail. First off they don't have samples like the other salons so you have to look at the pots of nail color powder and guess what color it might look when it dries which is a horrible way to do business. But they told me nope sorry you have to pick by looking at the pots. So then when the girl tried to talk me out of getting the dipping powder and into a regular gel manicure I should have took that as a sign and left. My nails wouldn't dry and I was there forever. (sns and kiara sky brand dry instantly) The end result - a couple of my nails were lumpy deformed looking from uneven application and they had a smeary look on all of them - and my thumb has grooves in it. So I spent $40 on nails that look like I tried to do them myself and look horrible and smeary. Thankfully I got a couple glitter nails which hide the smeary and marks unless you look close. One lied to my mom about the price to add a service without my mother complying and started to do the service on her. When the rude receptionist came over to tell us how much it cost we got angry with her attitude and wanted to leave as we were clearly fed up with the poor and pushy service. I always get acrylic set with gel polish which should cost $35 but the last time i was charged $42. The shaping is always horrible and the only reason I would go back is for 1) how close it is to my house and 2) thinking that they have stepped their game up a bit. So I went in after work about 4:30 was greeted by Amy .... (I've been coming to this location for a long time) never had a bad experience 3 years I've been going to this location ... I ask for a refill and to change the shape to Stilletto and my eyebrows she tells me ok all together 46$ ... I then tell her I'll just get my eyebrows because I realize I left my wallet ... I'm in the chair I specifically ask that she doesn't use baby oil or Vaseline because I have sensitive skin... she starts to wax and says ok ... the she tells me "I put on Vaseline it's ok I have to get wax off" I never got a chance to respond and she globs it all over my face ... I wanted to cry and after she says I'll clean with alcohol I said ok ... it burned me soooo bad I bit my tongue and didn't say anything .... I get to the counter and pay her 10$ cash ..... I leave go down the street (home to get my wallet come back to get my refill .... I pick the neon opi blue polish she tells me no pick the gel ... again I compromise... she is extremely rough with my hands and cut my right thumb while filing I ask again to get STILETTO SHAPE ... as she is filing and fixes one nail I say you know what never mind just keep them coffin shaped and she gets frustrated and says that's what she's doing We get into a small disagreement about the shape and she tells me stilleto and coffin are same thing and if I wanted pointy ask for pointy the customer next to is also being yelled at and handled roughly by her tech .we pay a lot of money to get our nails done to be treated like this is ridiculous I am so disappointed I was charged $38 for a refill no shape change and my finger was cut she never asked me to wash my hands or anything and her equipment was kept in a little lunch box container like if she didn't ask me to wash my hands how many other people did she actually ask and is she using this same equipment that has my blood on it on other customers?!
