Second time here- got a gel mani this time (first time - received a gel pedicure). I walked in & they were friendly and said it would be a few minutes wait. The girl who did my mani was quick & efficient. I showed her the color I wanted and she picked out a similar gel color immediately. She did a lovely job and my nails look great. I did not like it here. I went to get my nails done and came in with a reference photo. they did not end up following the photo at all. they skipped over 4-5 designs in the photo and did not even attempt to put them on my nails. When I noticed this and asked about it they denied fixing my nails and adding the missing designs. read more

First and last time I will go here. I decided to check this place out and see if I could get better dip powder nails than the last salon I went to. My experience started out ok, the technician let me know she was new but that didn't bother me. I got a pedicure first, wasn't the best pedicure and the polish is sloppy. On to the manicure, she filed my nails so much on the sides and by my cuticles to where there are burn marks and some of my nails are infected. The technician didn't listen to the color I wanted so I had to sit and wait for someone else to come and file the dip powder off and redo the color. I went here for a year because my mom & family invited me & they're regulars. I tolerated this place for as long as I could till the final insult. They've made me wait for HOURS for anything even if I was the first one there. I'll have gel paint or regular polish on my fingers & toes beyond the nails & all over the place. No, all your fingers & toes will not match. Their skills are very poor, sloppy, lazy, & I can seriously do better with my eyes closed in my sleep. My cat could better! They've physically hurt me more times than I can count. Not just accidentally, but from sheer mindless carelessness & ignorance. Aggressive is a severe understatement. It's not about putting your "big panties on". This is beyond that. Seriously, I've even had Teri hit the back of my hand with the rotary sander thingy to prove that it doesn't hurt & she sliced my skin bloody open. Ok it's not just carelessness, it's also plain stupidity. Pushy pushy PUSHY!!! There's no other way around it. Pushy for anything & everything even if you tell them that you don't want it & tell them to stop. They'll nickel & dime you even if it's their mistake on top of that. Liars. They're so full of garbage especially Teri. She tells you one thing. Then she says something else. Then she gives shit about it right afterwards because you caught her in a lie & prove that she doesn't make any sense even as you repeat her exact words right back at her calmly. They really just want to get your money for one stroke blotchy stroke of paint no matter how bad it looks & then toss your butt outta there asap. Incredibly lazy & greedy. The 2nd to the last time I was there, Teri told me to get my own gel polish because she didn't have what I was looking for. Even something as simple as that, she complained & whined her @$$ off. She really likes to twist everything against you like everything is your fault. The last time I was there, I brought the gel polish I was told to get & she b¡itched me out in front of everyone as she was making up endless excuses that didn't even relate or make sense. It was completely absurd. Even my family that was visiting from across the country was horribly stunned & offended. & then she proceeded to push me to get things done to my nails that I didn't want. That's actually the short version of the story. The other review is right on point on how they'll berate you & insult you in front of everyone. No class. No manners. Not even the least bit polite. Very very rude & the worst customer service. All they do is tear people apart when they talk. Sucking up to people & flattery is not beyond them especially if there's something they want. I went there more than long enough to know that they're not just having an "Off Day". I was as calm & polite with saintly restraint l as possible every time I was there & this review is the honest to God truth. That place is not worth the stress. PS: There's actually 1 lady there who's nice & more skilled than the others, but she's rarely there & good luck getting past Teri who runs the place. PPS: my mom has gotten full fungal infections on both her feet & had her feet crack a few times after getting a pedicure there. After being part of the service industry for all of my working career, I have never felt the need to warn consumers as much as I do now. A week ago on today, on a wed night, I was looking to get my nails done and stumbled across this nail salon on yelp, it had good reviews so I thought why not. I walked in to two to nail techs working they said there was a 45 min wait I put my name on the list and said I would be back in an hour. They said thanks. I came back they took about 15 min before they called me and I had gel on? I asked if they wanted to wrap my nails so it could soak off a bit. Long story short it was about an hour and a half for the gel manicure. She neglected to clean up my cuticles, there was no hand massage just shaping and painting of my nails. While she was painting them she was telling me how they use better polish and do such a good job it could last up to three weeks.. On Saturday, my left middle finger the gel chips at the top. I worked the rest of the week so I went into today to get it fixed. She proceeded to verbal berate me in front of other customers, saying that gel doesn't last you need to get acrylic. She said they don't fix nails, but she said they would fix it this time. Fixed it while basically yelling at me for being careless and that it was my nail that broke. Funny thing is my nail was completely intact it was just the gel that had a chunk missing. She charged me $3 to fix the nail which would have been fine if she had said she was charging me before she began. Don't waste your time or money on this place, unless like the other reviewer you like being talked about, down to, and getting death glares while trying to do something that is normally a relaxing experience. I actually like it here, maybe I like the abuse who knows...The work these ladies do is always consistent. I've had a gel mani last 3wks or more. The thing you must prepare for is language barrier or not, these ladies, 1 in particular is very very rough. I like to refer to this one as 'the madam'. She is no nonsense, what do u want? Why are you bothering me? kinda rough. I'm pretty tough & I quite enjoy the random 'nasty' that I may have the 'pleasure' of dealing with during my business dealings. I find it a challenge and tend to sweetly antagonize these types. Therefore these mani/pedi trips are both entertaining & functional. The actual technicians are all very sweet, however fairly browbeaten by their Madam, therefore sum what void of a full personality. They are, however, all very good at what they do. Well, I know what the Bee signifies. Walked in at 3:15p on a Sunday, being a CA girl (do I say that enough?) I'm used to getting pedicures year-round, but here in frigid Jer-Zee I can understand why most salons wouldn't be open on Sundays. But alas, Bee Nails & Spa was open this brilliant Sunday afternoon and they had a good review, so I decided to give them a whirl. I mean, hey, a girl can't live on tube socks alone! Anyway, I called at 2:50 to ask if I could get a pedicure today around 3:10, was told I could. I drove to Bee lickity-split and arrived about 5 minutes late, but arrived nonetheless. I walked in and as I picked up the technologically advanced clipboard to add my name a mask-wearing woman abruptly grunted at me, Woman: What do you want? Me: Pedicure, please Woman: You'll waiting for a long time. Patient me: How long? Woman: Hour Now, the place closes at 4 on Sundays, so I asked if that meant I'd be waiting until 4. At this point, it seemed like she wanted me to walk away, and I most certainly didn't want to rain on their parade over at Bee Nail and Spa by adding to their clientele, so I thanked them and walked away. I'm sorry, but no amount of language barrier has ever made me feel the way I did when I walked out of that slightly scrubby nail salon. I always tip as if the person before me forgot to do so, and I am remarkably friendly to those who would do me any service. Bee Nails & Spa? I understand it was Sunday and about 45 minutes from closing, but put someone in the front who doesn't make customers feel bad for coming in (AFTER they call making sure it's not too late!) This is my first 1 star review, and I believe I gave them more than they deserved. Never again. read more

I have seen some of the drama, but honestly, I sit, get my toes done, have a manicure, read my book and head home. I've gone here a few times and three times now I have had my skin ripped off around my lip area and eyebrows when I got them waxed. The last time this happened I told her beforehand that this had happened and she told me it was my fault and gave me attitude. Also did not take her time at all and did not shape my brows well. Very unprofessional and not worth the money. I do NOT recommend. just have to add that she also waxes areas around my mouth she should not have waxed and I could now grow hair in areas I should not. read more
