This place is the absolute best! I wasn't ever consistent with getting my nails done until I found The Nail Box. The process is seamless from beginning to end. It's super easy to make an appointment online and they're always quick to confirm. When you walk in, they're always extremely friendly at the front desk - they have you check in on their iPad and then wash your hands at the back. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being sat. I've been bouncing around between nail techs since coming here and have come in with nail art inspo each time and every tech has killed it so far - I honestly don't think you can get anyone bad in this place. Everyone has been easy to talk to and has communicated if they think they can't do a certain design or has been receptive to me communicating any changes to the design. I've never felt rushed or pressured - the most comfortable I've ever felt at a nail salon! The place feels clean and hygienic. They also offer some fun drinks - like Vietnamese coffee or a mimosa, which I think is so fun and truly adds to the feeling of being pampered. Prices are pretty decent for what I get done - I don't think I've ever paid more than $70 even for gel with an intricate 10 nail design. This is also the only place where the gel actually holds up! I always had issues at other salons with it peeling after a week, but I can go up to 3-4 weeks with these! 10/10 I can't recommend this place enough - I drive 20 minutes out of my way (and pass multiple other salons on the way) just to come here. read more

Just paid over $200 for myself and my daughters nails. They charge $5 each to "cut down" one daughter didn't even have a cut down and than was changed for a full set when my other daughter didn't receive that at all and her nails are still burning and cut. Designs are cute but not worth being over charged and damaged nail beds. read more

This is the second time I've gone to Nail Box, and it is my second powder dip manicure here. I have been struggling to find a good powder dip manicure in our area, and I read the reviews here at Nail Box. My first dip was nice, but it broke in two weeks. Most powder dips I get last at least three, but my nail tech said we were trying a "natural" dip so I thought it might be that. I went back for a dip today to a different tech and asked for a thicker dip because of this. During my dip powder change, the tech asked me if I wanted my cuticles cut, and I said sure. I was unpleasantly surprised when at check out I was charged more for my "'manicure," which to be honest, I don't think I received. My dip powder looks fine, but it's not great. The salon is nice. We will see how long this powder dip lasts. I'm writing this now though to say that you should tell me what you're asking me and tell me how much more it costs when I'm being offered something. I'm typically a frequent flyer here but I've been noticing every single time I come there's a $5 charge here and a $10 charge here. I've gotten my nails done at least 10-15x time, I've had a gift card, I've paid cash, card, everything you think of. I'm a quiet customer, greetings are casual, and so forth. Today I came in for a hand and toe set and I always call ahead to get an estimate. Minus a few last minute color changes, it's usually spot on and worth the wait & price. $160 was never giving it. There's charges for deep French on top of French, then cut downs, then refills don't include any other shade outside of neutral. $160 no manicure, no pedicure, just a color change & French. I was charged for deep French and the French as well. Then I was told to calm down and of course, I wasn't yelling or visibly upset just asking questions. But that seemed to ruffle feathers. Lo' and Behold, just when I thought I had a great set of nail techs, it's gets ruined. Be prepared for quality work but I'm just not going to pay anything just because. I went there for the first time the other day to treat myself and got a really pretty set of nails that I paid $100 for before tip and not even two days later that one of my nails lifting so I went back and asked if they could repair it which they did and the nail tech rushed through my appointment and the color doesn't even match the rest of my nails and the design is blotchy, and the color on my design isn't completely solid all the way through and to be honest, I like, didn't even really wanna go back to get it fixed a second time because I want to be able to come back to the salon and I don't wanna be considered a needy or annoying customer. read more

My daughter and I came here in December and I was not thrilled when they forced her to get gels and said she couldn't get a gel regular manicure. But whatever. Work was okay. This time I went to get a gel manicure and it was a guy. He filed (with the machine) my nails so much that it was painful. What I didn't realize until I left was that my nails (that are usually very strong) were completely brittle and all broke off shortly after the manicure. My nails are in such bad shape now that I cannot get a gel manicure. I went to another place and even regular filing is painful because that's how thin my nails were filed down. So I got a regular manicure and cut all of my nails very short to try to get them stronger. read more

From Tina at the front desk to our tech's Tim and Zack the experience was A+. This was the first time we have been anywhere where we did not get cut or had any discomfort at all. What a waste of $70. Tim was a mess. He was sloppy and painted hard gel and regular gel all over my fingers. It was like getting a manicure from a kid tbh. Every time I asked him to clean it up he fought with me. These pictures are after I asked him repeatedly to clean up the gel on my hands and washed my hands multiple times. When he went to put cuticle oil on my nails he put it on my knuckles. I felt like I was being punked through the whole process. Insane. read more
