I'm extremely picky and I have to say I LOVE MY NAILS and toes! I've been going to the same girl for years but she doesn't do toes and she's always booked so I was in need of somewhere I could go in quickly. I'm a hair stylist and a mom so you can imagine my schedule + the beating my nails take ! Yugi did AMAZING on my nails. The shape the style the price the customer service all of it was great. I got French on my toes and they're beautiful. I'll definitely be back. I even noticed on their down time another girl was practicing her designs. I highly highly recommend

One of the many designs perfectly executed

I love this salon and have been going there since they opened. Yugy always can execute any design I show her. The salon is always clean and I'm always treated with respect. I will stay loyal to QQ as long as they are around. My favorite nail salon for sure.

My nails after 24 hours. Extremely disappointed.

I get my nails done about once a year and I had to find a new place to go since I moved recently so I found a groupon for QQ nails. Even as someone who doesn't go often, I know/have gone to enough nail places in the past to feel extremely disappointed with my experience. The main reason I went in was to get my nails trimmed and shaped, but also to have a relaxing experience. Ha. The water in the foot bath for the pedicure was near boiling. Everywhere else i've gone to they give you a foot massage and make sure all the rough, dead skin is off your feet and heels. Yes, she technically put some lotion on my legs. Yes, she technically touched the foot buffer thing to the bottom of my feet, but two seconds is not gonna do the trick. My feet are not soft, there was no foot massage, and she slapped some lotion on, only to wash it off immediately. She also started draining and cleaning out the foot bath while my feet were still in it... dragging this plastic tub guard out of the bath and letting it drip over my legs, which wasn't pleasant and doesn't seem right to me. I was very confused by the whole experience. I've also never seen someone dilute the nail polish as much as she did. She must have done so 5 times. Now, i'm no expert, but in my mind, watering down the paint that much will make it very thin and not as good. Which may be why after 24 hours the paint on my fingernails is extremely chipped and looks like I've been digging through dirt with my bare hands. No hand massage either. Or mini back massage before i left even though other customers got them. And this was a Monday when i was one of their only customers. I always make sure to be friendly, treat everyone nicely, and tip well on the normal price of the service, but I will not recommend, and I will not go back.

Middle finger and ring finger started chipping. Added a layer of clear polish trying to save them! Justa few gours after getting them done

Decided to get a groupon for this place because why not? They took me as soon as I walked in, which was expected since I did have an appointment and I showed up on time. They immediately asked if I wanted to upgrade to gel but I declined. The pedicure was good. The technician did a thorough job of cleaning my nails (with a little pain) and I brought my own polish for my feet so they look pretty good. It was my hands I was upset about. A different lady cleaned my nails- then switched to a third women to paint them. She missed a spot on my thumb which I asked her to fix. Little did I notice she also missed another spot in my pointer finger. You can also see some of the strokes. Not even a few hours after getting my nails done- one chipped while I was folding laundry. Then another and another. I know I didn't get the gel but man, I thought the polish would at least last 24 hrs before going to the dogs

Very friendly, fast and thorough. I'd go back. I discovered the salon through groupon. It's fairly new and has only been there for a month. I made an appt but was 30 min early. They took me early with no problems. The employees were very nice and took the time to massage my feet and hands during both the mani and pedi. They also use hot towels which I love. Thanks QQ

Got these done for $38!! Colorful pedi with gel mani! Great deal :)

It's super easy to make an appointment online and they're always quick to confirm. When you walk in, they're always extremely friendly at the front desk - they have you check in on their iPad and then wash your hands at the back. I've never had to wait more than a minute or two before being sat. I've been bouncing around between nail techs since coming here and have come in with nail art inspo each time and every tech has killed it so far - I honestly don't think you can get anyone bad in this place. Everyone has been easy to talk to and has communicated if they think they can't do a certain design or has been receptive to me communicating any changes to the design. I've never felt rushed or pressured - the most comfortable I've ever felt at a nail salon! The place feels clean and hygienic. They also offer some fun drinks - like Vietnamese coffee or a mimosa, which I think is so fun and truly adds to the feeling of being pampered. Prices are pretty decent for what I get done - I don't think I've ever paid more than $70 even for gel with an intricate 10 nail design. This is also the only place where the gel actually holds up! I always had issues at other salons with it peeling after a week, but I can go up to 3-4 weeks with these! 10/10 I can't recommend this place enough - I drive 20 minutes out of my way (and pass multiple other salons on the way) just to come here.

I recently moved to northern libs from center city. The first few months I traveled into center city to get my nails done but yesterday I decided I was over it. I honestly could not be happier!!! Everyone has had a bad manicure so I went in skeptical. I'm a creature of habit and I know my old salon is amazing but the ability to walk and not fight traffic was clutch. Anyway this place is phenomenal. If you make a same day appointment (not a walk in) you get the "oh well you're lucky we could accommodate you same day". She forgot and sighed like it was my fault she made the mistake. The owner sitting next to her said to her "you wanted to stay late and make your money" when she was annoyed. I just said keep it glossy since I felt like I was inconveniencing her. That was my last visit so now I travel further to go somewhere else. Overall, can be good, but they have to like you. I was in the market for a new salon to help me maintain the color block hair style I had. I first…read moretried them in May 2023, and have been returning for touch-ups every other month. Unfortunately, I experienced a tremendous amount of breakage when I moved to Thrive Salon to maintain my color style, even with every intervention and variable that I was able to control myself. (Tons of hair masks, silk bonnets, only air drying, wide-toothed combs rather than brushes, regular haircuts, high end shampoo/conditioner for color-treated hair, changing shampoo/conditioner to another color-safe one, oil sprays... you name it). I kept up with 7 week appointments at my stylist's request to help "minimize damage", but it didn't seem to do anything but put me out of more money, and result in me having less hair. I was dilligent about asking my stylist to do a "breakage check" every time I sat in her chair to try to prevent this. She always said everything looked great. In November, during my normal appointment, I cited that I was noticing substantial breakage. I should have listened to my gut when my stylist responded to my concerns with a surprise, stating "you usually see that up here" while pointing to my scalp. (In hindsight... yikes.) Despite my concerns that day, she didn't seem to heed additional cautions or change her approach. On that same day I cited bad breakage, she lifted a new brunette section of my hair (at my request in a desperate attempt to keep my hair style) *extremely* fast. What normally needs 3 sessions to go from my brunette to our target shade of blonde she somehow achieved in 1 with my roots, and could do in 2 to my ends. She was both surprised and excited at "how light it got" during my wash out. It seemed like she never had full control over her color processing, and didn't even know what she was expecting it to do. Needless to say, all of that hair started breaking in the following weeks, plus other strands. When I went to another salon to get a haircut (I find their haircuts to be outrageously priced at Thrive), the woman shared her concern with me on the health of my hair. She even questioned if Olaplex was being left out of my mix. I didn't have an answer. This salon, despite the high price tag, also doesn't include a basic rough dry for color services to check their work. They let people paying nearly $200 for color walk out with sopping wet hair. The manager assured that a rough dry ("not blow out, that was extra") was normal for color, so stylists could check their work before the customer leaves, but I was handed a blow dryer by the rinser last visit to do it myself while my stylist moved onto another client entirely. She didn't even check on me or say goodbye. It felt wrong. I was paying ~$250 every 8 weeks but couldn't get a rough dry? I had to drive home with wet hair? Despite the poor outcome with their color service, I also observed that I was being charged different ways and different prices for my exact same service every time I went. I was never given a heads up about the price differences, and only found out at the register after my stylist had left. At one point, I was charged for a haircut that I declined in the chair. (Thankfully I noticed!) After I was rung up, I told the man at the desk, and he quickly said "oh, well you got your hair dried, so we have to charge you for a blowout". The price of the blowout helped them retain all of the mischarge for the haircut I never got. It felt very shady to me. (Remember how the rough dry was supposed to be included?) Generally, I find this salon to be very expensive for the skill I was shown. I thought the price I was paying for my color blocking was fair, but seeing that I had so much breakage, maybe it was over-priced like some of their other a la carte menu. ($75 for a *trim* is too rich for my blood.) I'm leaving an extra star despite my experience because when I did have a chance to speak with the salon manager, she was open to feedback, stayed true to her promises of when she would get back to me, and offered a refund for the past haircut/blowout fiasco I retold above. She understandably stood behind her staff, but I was disappointed that the stylist's word was always taken over the customer's. (I have no reason to lie about a service I didn't receive....) They also got me in quickly around the very busy holidays when I called and let them know more of my hair was breaking and I needed to come in to resolve it with my stylist. I appreciate them doing that for me. One last shoutout - Jen at the wash station was seriously a highlight of my experience. Love her and wish the best for her.
