A fluke brought me here. I had no idea that this place existed. While my kids had their hair done right next door, I popped in to check it out for a brow wax. THIS PLACE IS BEAUTIFUL - clean and huge. I was blown away. (reminds me of the row homes in Philly that appear small from the outsite, but are long & spacious inside). Tina did my brows and perfectly. Even though my skin is so sensitive, it did not "blow up" as usual for a good twenty minutes. Just some minor irritation. They do an amazing job here! With Covid-19 and everything happening, it's definitely nerve wracking going places, but they do so well at keeping themselves and their customers safe with plexiglass between the techs and customers, along with strict hand washing policy. They even check your temperature with a digital thermometer before you get serviced. I didn't have an appointment (my fault) but they were able to squeeze me in. Trisha did an AMAZING job - and she didn't try to rush me out because they were closing. She even redid one nail when she found a problem with it. Been going to LA Nails for years and won't be any longer. My daughters and I had appts for dip powder manicures and regular pedis. There were only 2 girls working and 4 of us in the salon so they rushed and it was a very painful afternoon. During the pedicures, acetone, cotton, and foil were applied to our nails. While this is common practice, it was left on so long that my nails were thin and brittle and have not healed 2 weeks later. The tech used the electric file on such a high speed, it burned. She was asked numerous times to slow it down and that it hurt. It did not stop her. She applied the dip powder only 2 times which for the money, is terrible. I am left with weak, brittle, and breaking nails. I will never go back here again. I advise anyone to stay away. So disappointed in this place! read more

My toes turned out nice but my nails chipped in 2 days and by not even a week later I have several nails with 0 polish on them. I am the type of person where my gel nails last longer then others. Too many upcharges. It cost over $50 for an acrylic refil (one nail repair) with gel french manicure. Asked for a design on my ring fingers, it looked like a 5 year old painted it. I went home and painted over top of it. The salon was clean but so quiet. I will not be back. read more

I've been to this salon several times because it is convenient and had a fine experience each time. However, last time I came in for an appointment I had a different technician and I really was not pleased. The service seemed rushed, clumsy and the technician did the complete opposite of what I asked for in terms of nail length and shape (after I stated my preference several times). My nails were buffed until they were paper thin which was very painful. I received a dip manicure and my nails were dipped directly into the large powder jar from the manufacturer (not in a separate container) which could have potentially been used by previous clients. 2 weeks later the dip polish began to come off, exposing painful brown spots on several of my nails that my doctor identified as a fungal infection. I can not say for a fact that the dip powder container caused the infection, but it is a fact that sharing a container among several clients is a sanitation risk that could be avoided with proper measures. I will not be getting another manicure anytime soon. read more

do not go here! i had a 10am "appointment" one employee showed up at 10:10 and they had two people booked for 10am and two walk ins. she had no idea what appointment was even for. she never even asked my name. it seemed like there was no appointment system whatsoever and that they were just telling people the had an "appointment" the keep the business. my pedicure was completely rushed and the worst one ive ever had. she cut my toe nails using a cuticle nipper and cut them so short that they actually hurt. i still paid for the service ($30) and left a tip but i will definitely not be back. unfortunately this was my first "me time" ive had since having my daughter and the first time i have been able to get my nails done in over a year. see pictures. read more

Went in on a Sunday so it's hard for me to judge how things go on a regular business day. Business hours read 11a-5p on Sunday, doors didn't open until 11:15a. Not a big deal to some, but i'm a stickler for time so i was a little annoyed. Two techs opened the store, I was greeted in a way that left a bad taste in my mouth. I don't know how to explain it,he tended to me, but i didn't feel very welcome. I was given to the nail tech Lily who was VERY sweet and courteous. Offered me refreshments, and did an awesome job on my nails. She took her time and tended to important details that showed the pride she has in her craft. The salon itself is very clean, professional and creates a nice ambiance. If it's your first time they give you a discount card, 10% off your 5th visit. Overall, i'd be eager to see how things look in a random Wednesday afternoon. It wasn't very busy, a total of four people stopped in while I was there. Appropriately priced but a bit more than my usual salon charges me . Give these guys a try. Satisfied with the final product. read more

I came for a pedi. Even though they were NOT busy it took her until my water got cold to assist me. When I had dipped my feet in the guy said I would be seen in a couple minutes. 10-15 minutes later... Anyway, she was good with the massage, filing and all, but not that great with the polish. It looked a little messy and some toes needed to be redone because she applied so much polish that it would either slide or wrinkle. She redid one toe 3 times. It's the first time I had someone struggle so much with painting. Keep in mind they were not at all busy. I had an 11:00 appointment here and arrived at 11:00. A staff member, I believe her name is Ping took my temperature and told me after I pick my color to wash my hands and have a seat at the pedicure chair. I waited and waited and waited until finally at 11:30 a woman came over to start my pedicure. The woman finished her pedicure which was ok and then another employee came over and stated that because I had a "runny nose" to come back and get my manicure done. First off I did not have a runny nose because I did not at ANY time blow my nose or ask for a tissue. My response was not only did you make me wait a half an hour now your asking me to come back to get my nails done because YOU say I had a runny nose. I told him I'll be getting my nails done but not here ever again. I paid and left her a tip even though I was livid. They took my temperature and I was fine. A whole hour there and now all of a sudden I can't get my manicure!! You weren't that worried the whole hour I was there about my "runny nose"! read more

Twice I came to this nail salon hoping that the second time would be a lot better. Nope. I was dead wrong. First time around, the lady was drilling my real nails like as if I had an endless supply of nails! I started to feel the heat from the drill and had to tell her to stop twice! They also filed my nails unevenly when I asked for coffin nails. When she was "finished" the lady left dents in my nails that I can even notice through the clear polish. She didnt drill my nails evenly and it bugged the shit out of me.The nail tech even cut me 3 times during the whole thing. Second time around: this is a different lady. the tech was talking on her personal cellphone the whole time. I hate when nail techs do that I will instantly decide not to tip! PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR CLIENT. I can tell she wasn't pay attention, because when she was blending the ombre she didn't blend it correctly. The blending is uneven and on two of my nails you can see a definite line when the two colors meet. Definitely not ombre! When she applied the gel top coat onto my nails I noticed the gel was bleeding out onto my skin and she tried to take it off, but didn't do a good job of doing that because SHE WAS ON HER PHONE. I Went home with subpar nails with gel on my skin. Hate this place. It's unprofessional. read more

I stumbled upon this place when I was home visiting my parents on vacation. This place is great. The people are extremely pleasant and good at their job. I am a runner so my feet are particularly nasty but they made them look amazing. My only regret is that I don't live closer. The prices are also very reasonable. I will be back!! read more

I was a walk-in client they were not busy. I asked for a pedicure and a full set w/the dip powered I asked one of the workers if she could do a particular design she said yes. She could not. My nails were uneven and my tips started separating the same day. She claimed it was because I already had my natural and I wouldn't let her cut them. She filed my nails so hard that she cut two of my fingers. I had to make her put the file down. When I asked her to repaint my nails she became agitated; stating that they were fine. One of her coworkers repainted my nails. This happened on Saturday 4/24/21. Today is Tuesday 4/27/21 my GEL polish has already started coming off. read more

The salon is very clean, however, it's over priced for the service they provide. I got a mani and pedi, and I wasn't really impressed with either. The pedicure was rushed and the water was cold. For the mani, the nail tech left some of my nail polish on from my previous manicure. Not awful, but definitely expected a better experience for the price (37 - mani+pedi), other salons around the area are typically 30-35, so really not a huge difference, but the other salons are way better. read more

It's my first time getting my nails done. I was so excited because there was a big event happening. I was at the salon, and at first glance everything looked pretty nice. The lady who assisted me was a younger nail tech, but she was obviously inexperienced. My nails were all different sizes. (Keep in mind they were supposed to be coffin nails & they weren't all different sizes because of my finger nail sizes) Some were round and some were square. Many times, the lady had to get assistance from other nail techs. She cut me, and when she did so, she laughed. She kept drilling in the same spot. Which was very painful. She put to much nail polish on, which made my nails bumpy. My cuticle was rough and dry. My friend suggested this other nail salon, which seems so much better than here. Now I'm stuck with this disasters (gel nails) for 2 weeks. Keep in mind, these were $40. Don't judge a book by it's cover, it might be a disaster or the best thing ever. read more

I love this nail salon. I've been going for almost a year and I'm satisfied every time. The salon is clean. Check! The staff is friendly. Check! And the quality of service is great. Double check!! When I first started going, my nails were in bad shape due to an iron deficiency that I had a year before I started going. My iron issue was resolved but you couldn't tell from the looks of my nails (they were lifting off of my nail bed). The male nail tech (I know his name, but I don't like to use people's names on public social media sites) brought my nails back to life. Instead of masking my nails with acrylic and polish each visit, he got rid of the dead part and, over several visits, my nails were back to what they had been. I really appreciate that and am no longer embarrased with the appearance of my nails. A couple of other things to note. If you make an appointment, it's not for nothing as it seems to be with other nail salons. From my experience, they honor their appointments. That could work for or against you. It will work for someone that made an appt, but possibly against a walk in. For example, if you walk in 5-10 mins before a tech has an appt, you may need to wait as the tech with no one at the table may be waiting on their appt and, we all know, that it takes more than 10 mins for even a simple nail service. This is not an issue for me. If I'm a walk in and have to wait, I don't mind. On the flip side, when I had an appt I've never had to wait. I get my pedicures done by anyone who is available and have never had an issue. I don't feel rushed, which has been an issue with other salons. All in all, a good nail salon experience every time. read more
