Also got a blueberry scone which was very buttery and delicious! I also love that they give you your drink order in real mugs/cups if you're dining in. The ambiance was your typical coffee shop -- quiet with soft lofi music playing in the background. There were high and low tables, some with comfy/soft chairs, while others had the bar style chairs. The tables each had the wifi password so for those staying a while and needing internet while working, you don't have to ask the baristas for the wifi password. The only reason why I gave 4 stars is I wish they would've provided more baked goods or food options. They had one sandwich option when I came in before 11am, a bagel option, and just a handful of different pastries. The shelves looked half empty so I'm assuming there's normally more options? Still good to try if you're wanting good coffee in the area.

(forgot to take picture of the benny) The avocado toast was served with sliced avocado, which is exactly my preference, instead of the smashed avocado. I also tried the bulgogi beef sandwich which is tasty too. I had the flat white on a previous visit and it was not that great. The latte is much better. I like the white chocolate macadamia latte. It's so calming and welcoming with artist painting displayed on the wall. I had a group of 6 people (always large group for me) and Servers were very responsive and attentive to our table quickly. I have to say the menu has way too many choices and combo that Gordan Ramsey would definitely ask them to scale back in order to eliminate confusion or mistakes. Despite the case, all our orders were made correctly. Dishes were served super fast and IG photogenic. They even have high tea but you need to reserve your table 2 days ahead. FYI, all their desserts are gear towards the Asian style cakes which is very light, not too sweet but favourable. Definitely unique for this area. Will definitely go back again.

It serves the typical bagel, muffin, biscotti and pre-made sandwiches. Located next to Indigo, the store front is totally unpretentious and makes you wonder what it sells. I had to google map it to know it's a cafe. It's a great location. Buy a book and have a coffee. Giving a throwback moment when it's common to have a coffee place nestled within the bookstore. This is the closest to getting that here. I'll definitely be telling my friends about this place. It opened last year and I hope it will continue to thrive here. They currently have their coffee roasted elsewhere but will be roasting their own coffee soon. Al has experience in roasting coffee and I'm looking forward to seeing that.
