This was our first morning on the island, and we decided to pop in here for breakfast. Definitely the typical greasy spoon eatery; pancakes, French toast, eggs, sausage, you get the idea. Everything was really good, and the service was pretty friendly and fast.

Quick breakfast spot! Good pancakes and a breakfast burrito. Outdoor seating if you want to bring your dog. Prices are average and food is the same.

Great breakfast place! Our resort recommended the Island Skillet. We were not disappointed. This little place had about 10 tables and wasn't very big. We only waited about 6 minutes and I could tell the staff was used to serving to a crowd. They were friendly, efficient, and on top of it. We ordered our food and were served our delicious breakfast within 15 minutes. (Maybe even a little quicker). The food was yummy. The hash browns were cooked to perfection and my eggs "over medium" really were over medium!! As people came in and out I could see the smiles of the locals and tourists who were also enjoying their first meal of the day. Yup! This one's a keeper!

I. Overall: Good People and Good Food II. Disclaimer: I have not been paid or compensated to write or share this review by anyone in any way shape or form whatsoever III. The Food: Came to this place for breakfast based on so many good reviews and we weren't disappointed. Super humble joint with no-nonsense food and GOOD KIND PEOPLE and SERVICE. We ordered... - Eggs Benedict which were very tasty and came with Hashbrowns - Veggie Omelette with Hashbrowns which was equally tasty. What made this Omelette EXCEPTIONAL was that the vegetables weren't raw but had been sautéed very nicely and cooked as opposed to being just dumped with eggs like most places that 'think' they know how to make Omelettes - Coffee was good as well IV. Service, Ambience and Charges: This is a nice cutesy place operating in the small market area of Orcas Island. We waited for about 10 minutes and were attended on very kindly. We did go back the next day itself but they had closed by 12 noon. The Gentleman behind the counter was SO kind and referred us to the Outlook Inn for Breakfast along with several other places, which was super kind of Him. For all the food above we paid $45. Would definitely come back to this establishment again for breakfast or brunch.

Short wait, incredibly friendly staff, spectacular service and DELICIOUS food. Just what we were looking for. Re COVID: everything was cleaned and sanitized to my exceptionally high standards. All staff were wearing masks and everyone was 6ft apart.

Best (and biggest) breakfast burrito I've ever had--for only $6.50. Friendly service, too!

The food was alright. Basic breakfast menu items and nothing special. The place is always crowded so get there early.

We had breakfast good for lunch - everything was very good - eggs, sausage patty, hash browns and huevos rancheros. Hit the spot!

Back again and still 5/5 Evan was great at the cafe and the omelette was my go to. Great potatoes…read moreas well.

This is a review where the meal was better than a 3 star rating, but the service and the prices…read morereally dragged down our enthusiasm for this restaurant. We had reservations and got a great table at the window, looking out over the water. Problem was, the windows were filthy with sea salt grime which really obscured the view. If waterside dining is your big appeal, clean the windows! Waiter arrived with menus but not a word. Not to be deterred, I asked him how he was doing. "Oh, I'm really tired after a long weekend." and he shuffled off without a smile. Throughout the dinner, I tried to engage with him, and it turns out he is the Front Manager for the resort, and while he brightened up a little when we asked about him, he didn't show any attention or interest in us, which is just careless service. Food was mixed. We had steamed clams & an order of ciabatta for starters. Clams were OK, but the broth lacked any distinctive flavor. It could have been broth out of a can. Bread was just bread, nothing special. We shared the Bucatini with prosciutto in cream sauce for our main, and it was wonderful. But at $38 for a plate of pasta, it better be. Which speaks to the greater menu, where most the mains are from $40-$50. They can charge that because there are no other options in Doe Bay, but this food is not worth that price. Finally, their wine selection is embarrassingly small. 4 whites and 4 reds, no Chardonnay and no Cab. Really disappointing. Considering all the other rave reviews, if you are already in Doe Bay, and since there are no other options, you'll get a decent meal here, but I wouldn't drive to the far end of the island to pay these prices for a limited menu with tired, mediocre service.
