A recent update to my last review last year - still FIVE STARS!…read more Their website is easy to navigate to find the menu of options based on balloon sculpture art, face painting and their hourly prices or packages. When booking online I always get a response within the day either confirming or letting me know they are already booked. I really appreciate that! We just hosted a birthday party for my 4 year old granddaughter and 60 guests and were happy to have balloon artist Gideon return! Gideon is always on time, comes 20-30 min ahead of time to set up, brings his own extension cord for outlet, and is prepared with all tools, supplies and signage. He has a nice picture board showing all the designs both classic and new that may appeal to your guests, young and old alike! This year the popular item was a balloon purse holding a puppy! But he also did some beautiful large Unicorns, cute backpacks, swords, and I saw many other colorful creations! We reserved him for two hours and he sculpted about 50-60 art within that time frame. The prices are so reasonable and you really get the best bang for your buck because he is always the WOW of the party! Gideon is VERY professional, dresses nice, easy set up and is patient with the children. Their entire family is involved in this business so no matter which artist comes to your party, you will be thrilled and so will your guests! Mahalo to Gideon, Jimmie and Amber for many years of having our corporate guests, public event attendees and now our personal parties be amazing! See you for granddaughter's 5th next year and a new grandson his 2nd!

Seriously tho, I'm not trying to be mean, but MAN! Those other companies don't even compare. My brother and I were in absolute awe at my nephew's 1st birthday party this past Saturday. Adventure Balloons definitely made the party! I'd say the only thing that rivaled them was the spectacular view... because OMG, I was melting! Oahu Country Club is GORGEOUS!!!! Once everyone saw the first intricate balloon design, the kids AND adults were lining up to get their hands on one! I even saw one of the moms walking past my table with a full on ladybug outfit. Like... this ain't no ordinary clown show, y'all! I swear, if I could've thought of a character or design I loved on the spot, I would've asked them to make one for ME! Unfortunately, I didn't get the best pictures of my nephew's balloons because these dudes cannot stay still. They're 3 & 5 - you go ahead and try telling them to stay still! Lol -- the person making the balloons was so friendly, playful, and patient btw. We were chatting with him while he was hard at work. Stellar job, Jimmie! (I think that was you haha) The Luigi w/mushroom and Pikachu were SO cute! The creativity, detail, and precision that went into these designs were seriously impressive. Highly recommend Adventure Balloons for your next family party! Trust me - the kids will LOVE them, and honestly, the adults will be just as entertained watching what they create! 10/10 creativity & definitely a highlight of the party!

Not only do I lack vision, but it was not logistically possible for me to pull this off in the 2 days I was there. I found Lola online and away we went. She took care of everything. She took a dark oversized space and turned it into an elegant co-ed shower that I was proud of! Her set up included beautiful decorations, a microphone, games, tables and so much more. I opted for the deluxe package and it was worth every penny. I am so grateful that I can't say enough good things. Btw-I RARELY write reviews. This was just one I had to get out there. Long story short, just save your money and go with an online dating platform, you'll have a better chance with matches there. You're really just paying for the experience and the food. Some of the guys I talked to hasn't matched with anyone and they were there for the fourth time. Majority of them were just looking for a companionship, or they were military and moving in a few months. When I think of speed dating I think serious people hoping to find a serious relationship. If you want a companion just get a dog. When second round came the organizers did not seat anyone at my table and didn't notice I just sat there by myself. Four days has passed and I still haven't heard from them, the anticipation was killing me so I finally emailed them only to be told they are still "working on it". Three hours later I get an email and was then told I didn't match with anyone... It took them four days to tell me this. The experience was nice but if you're hopeful to find a potential partner to be serious with be prepared to possibly be let down. Was it worth $50? You tell me.

Phillip is incredibly talented at what he does, and I have personally watched him put an enormous amount of time, effort, and care into his work and his customers. Balloon work and event decor are not as simple as people sometimes assume. There are countless moving pieces behind the scenes, and Phillip consistently goes above and beyond to make sure his clients' visions come to life. Over the years, I have worked with Phillip on numerous events and have also trusted HBC for my own celebrations. I have seen firsthand the long hours, early mornings, late nights, last-minute changes, and problem-solving that go into running this business. I have also seen Phillip bend over backwards to accommodate customers, often doing far more than what was originally expected of him. Of course, no small business is going to execute every single order perfectly 100% of the time, and unexpected circumstances can happen. But some of the negative reviews here simply do not reflect the Phillip or Hawaii Balloon Company that I have personally experienced time and time again. A single situation does not necessarily tell the full story of a business or the person behind it. HBC has been a part of countless celebrations in Hawaiʻi, and there is a reason people continue to come back. Phillip is creative, hardworking, generous with his knowledge, and genuinely cares about the work he puts out. I would confidently recommend Hawaii Balloon Company and will absolutely continue supporting and working with them.

This caused unnecessary stress and disappointment surrounding an important event. Unexpected circumstances happen, but communication and accountability are the bare minimum. Unfortunately, this experience demonstrated a serious lack of reliability, professionalism, and respect for the customer's time. I would not recommend this business.

After completing the quote form and receiving the automated quote I received a personal email from the Owner Blane. He congratulated me and my husband on our baby and offered to work with me on rebooking their services as a return customer. One thing I love about their packages is they can create a unique design for the photo booth picture template. I had a very specific request for the design. It had lots of little details that at first caused some issues with the design. What I appreciated is that Blane kept me updated even when they ran into issues and in the end they were able to work it out. And I was very happy with the end result. On the day of the party, Blane had arrived early and greeted me when I arrived at the venue. When it came to taking pictures he even tried to get my daughter's attention so she would look at the camera. We are very happy return customers and hope to have another event in the future where we can rebook their services.
