There are many workers around, but they don't seem to be maintaining or wiping down the area for sanitation. In contrast, other playgrounds we've visited, like Kid City and Keiki Republic, have consistently had staff members cleaning while the kids are still playing. Overall, my son had a good time here and would love to come back, but we hope the cleanliness will improve or that the staff will take better care of the facility.

I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

I did recognize a couple of other songs. Perfect setting for little guys as well as older sisters and even mothers who were hitting baseballs or fathers throwing footballs or golfing etc. The party ran from 2-5 pm but birthday boy's parents had several coolers with drinks for the kiddies and adults. Twelve boxes of pizza were ordered and delivered. Assorted individual bags of chips, fresh veggies and dips and of course birthday cake. There was restroom facilities. The only thing I missed was no WiFi except for the employees to run the boxes, computers, sound system. Fast cleanup with helpful adult guests. A nice set up with couches, chairs and picnic table set up for the moms to sit on. Remember to get your parking ticket stamped for free parking. Have fun, you can even enjoy being a spectator.

Well, I wasn't able to get my friends over (they're lazy), but I was able to come for a work event, and it was super fun. Sports Box is located right outside Dole Theatre where Wild Tiki Fun Zone used to be, I believe. There's ample parking and they validate! Definitely an easy and convenient location. Inside is clean, cool, and well maintained. It's a bit dark, but that's not a big issue. There are several "boxes" (simulators). Consisting of baseball, soccer, bowling, frisbee golf, hockey, footgolf, regular golf, dodgeball, and a shooting game. They provide all the equipment for every game. Even the Point Blank gun for the shooting game (yes, I had to power up the PlayStation later). You can bring own golf clubs if you like too. There's also a putting mat with multiple fun games, and the putting surface is angled, which makes it more challenging and fun than if it was just flat. Each box is charged by the hour and not per person. It's $75 per hour, up to 6 people, which is not bad at all. Party Packs are also available (up to 70 people, ranging from $225 to $425 per hour) where you can use multiple boxes, tables and chairs are provided, Karaoke available, and equipment. The only thing is they don't provide are food and drinks. Overall, I had a fun time. I enjoyed the putting and golf games. Golf had many modes, and many real life full courses that includes putting too! How awesome! The staff was helpful and informative. It's a great venue for gatherings and events. Or if you want to practice your golf. I'll definitely come back!

The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.

Painting in Kaneohe, Hawaii…read more.. Paint nights have been happening for years and this is the first time that I got a chance to experience one. Thanks to Jessica and Jules for planning this group activity and organizing us! Before Jessica moves to the mainland, there were a few things that she wanted to do together and one of them was painting. She selected this picture of a waterfall with a flowering tree and butterflies because the other pictures looked "touristy"... haha! The venue (The Beach House) was a local bar in my neighborhood. It was convenient for me since I live and work in Kaneohe. I knew where it was (next to Windward Mall) and that there was free parking...and a restroom with curtains instead of walls to designate separate stalls! Tip: Just lock the door for privacy! Don't let anyone else in with you, ladies! Our instructor, Kate, was awesome! She was so bubbly, informative, and reassuring. I have never painted before and I have always wanted to try. I was afraid of the outcome...lol! This was a super great experience! All of the supplies were provided. Kate and her assistant, Lei, set up and cleaned up for us! We had a blast - and a finished product to remind us of a happy memory. Gosh, Jessica... I'm starting to really miss you already... waaahhh! (Crying a waterfall now...) =( P.S. The ocean was clear and beautiful the day we went. We learned a lot about coral preservation and the animals while on the tour too. I usually do not like close quarters, but I was comfortable the whole time. It's a very roomy submarine. Having been, I feel like everyone should go at least once! We saw lots of different fish, 2 turtles (Timmy and Tina), an eagle ray, and the other side of the sub saw a shark-very cool!

If it hadn't been for the care and compassion of Maya, I probably would've cried. I get motion sickness, but my kids were so excited about going on the submarine finally that I took Dramamine and threw caution to the wind. However, after the 15 to 20 minute boat ride over to the submarine, I'm sure my face was green. Although the submarine itself was 10 times more stable and calm and felt like the interior of an airplane, I was very concerned I was going to get sick in front of lots of strangers and had to exit the submarine very quickly. I left my tween kids there to experience the submarine by themselves, which is fine because my oldest son is on two swim Teams and basically a lifeguard. However, the boat had to come back and get me off the top of the submarine and it was very embarrassing and once again, I cannot say enough about how well the staff handled it and didn't make me feel silly. or stupid at all. I even bought some of the photos to laugh about the incident later. We had already gotten the military discount, but they offered to refund my portion of the submarine ride, which I very much appreciated. I would recommend this company to all of my friends. My sons loved seeing the 9 sea turtles & Hawaiian wildlife.
