Getting ready for some smashing fun!

We had a great time! Cody and Malana were so nice and made the experience a lot of fun. We highly recommend coming here. Adding the extra items to break in the room is worth it. Lots of cool places to take photos too. If your not into breaking things, you can watch others break things... this was a lot of fun. Thanks again for the amazing experience, it was worth it!!!

I was looking for a fun place to have gals night and I thought what a fun place to go to release steam get your blood flowing. I booked a rage room for 2. The exterior blended in with the old school Kakaako and was a little sketchy. Once we figured out that we had arrived at our destination they welcomed us and let us take our time taking in their establishment. It was a cool vibe with splatter artwork, neon lights, fun signs and COLORS COLORS COLORS. The staff was friendly and cool. They were informative as well as eager for us to get started. They really helped us set the vibe. After choosing our 10 items to break we changed into safety gear. That consisted of 1) full jumpsuit 2) helmet with face covering. I was sure to wear something so that I can pull the jumpsuit over my clothes and hard closes toe shoes. They let us use our own music but we decided to try their rage playlist and it did not disappoint. Overall me and my friend had a great time. After our sesh we treated ourselves to beer down the street.

Wish they could've separated our group of 10 in 2 rooms but still had fun just a little cramped

We enjoyed this place. Wish we got more to break though. Safe place to break for fun! Pricey but still worth it. We paid $70 for a group of 3 ppl.

Only a 3 star bc I'm not in that place in my life to wreck things . Hubby got us the paint and wreck package. I loved the paint hated the wreck. It was too loud even though you get to pick the music and all. Don't recommend this place if loud banging on metal objects aren't your thing. The paint portion is cool bc you can literally spray your partner with the paint gun (additional cost) if they annoy you... which we both were annoyed at each other at the time (probably why he loved smashing the objects) All in all it was a cool experience bc to my knowledge, it's the only place on Oahu that has this unique experience.

I had a choice of archery or breaking things for my birthday from my teammates. I chose breaking things. This was my first time. The location is within walking distance from WholeFoods on Ward. It reminds me of a speakeasy because the location is not obvious. And as soon as you enter, it brought back nostalgic feels of the 90's grunge club scenes. As soon as we checked in, they brought us to an area where we could choose glassware and other household items to break. When we finished, they brought us upstairs to change into a jumpsuit (NOTE: wear covered shoes). Afterwards, they went over the rules with us. We were brought back downstairs, where we chose our helmets that also has face shields. We then entered our room and took turns breaking things with whatever items they had in a bucket (i.e., bat, golf club, heavy steel bar, broken hockey stick). IT WAS FUN They also say it's not anger therapy BUT you can take a lot of aggression out on that glassware or household items. There is also a paint splatter activity too! Overall, this is a fun group event for birthdays, get-togethers, team building, parties. The staff is super friendly, helpful and accommodating. You can also donate items to break too. Recommend: HIGHLY

My son and his friends had a fantastic time! Steph was amazing; she guided them every step of the way. She was very thorough, and the kids enjoyed every moment. Highly recommend! Made my son's 18th birthday even more special.

I can't say enough positive things about this place! All the reviews nailed it when saying the staff was amazing. My boyfriend and I had so much fun and it was definitely worth the 45 minutes. They let us go for a while after and they never made us feel crunched for time. They threw in a couple of extra things which was super nice! I highly recommend. They gave me a Smash Cancer Shirt which meant so much to me since they knew I was going there because my dad was just diagnosed with cancer. The girl was fantastic and did what she could to help out. Awesome place! 10/10

    Splatter paint anywhere and everywhere!

I'm so glad Hawaii has this place! It was such a great idea to surprise my younger son for his birthday here. I really needed a different kind of activity for us to do together that he's never done before so I booked 2 separate sessions: a Splatter Box and a Smash Lab You should go with a group or for a date & read their FAQs on their website I made sure to book online about 2-3 weeks in advance and the day before I made sure to remind everyone in our party to: -Make sure they wore closed-toe shoes -Bring proof of COVID-19 vaccination or a negative test within 48 hours -Show up a little early to ensure you enjoy the full experience (because you choose all the items you will break for the smash lab) -you can just call them when you have questions like I had to call to get clarity on parking, it's street parking, "no parking" signs are not enforced in front of their building only so I parked in the front Splatter Box - 45mins in a room where you can splatter paint everywhere and on a canvas that you take home And you can get a paint gun to shoot paint everywhere too! You wear a tyvek suit with safety glasses or a disposable raincoat poncho thing that they provide also complete with plastic booties for your shoes. There's a place you can out your purse that won't get paint on it -we left our paintings there because they were still soaking but you can pick it up later they hold it up to 2 weeks after Smash Lab - this is the star activity, you choose all the items you can break & you can even break larger appliances for a small extra fee Yeah! Breaking things with your weapon of choice like a sledge hammer, bat, or even a frying pan to help you relieve stress or vent off some unwanted pressures! Just like in that funny movie Office Space! My boy had a great birthday celebration here before we went out to dinner; not to mention perfect close location in the middle of town!

Loved my experience here!! Staff extremely nice and helpful and so much to do. Came here with a group of friends and everyone enjoyed themselves. There were so many items to choose from to destroy and also a ton of different options on what you could use to destroy/smash. The paint room is also a nice break where you can be creative and use the paint guns. Ask the staff for tips on making cool swirl patterns!! They also have a zen room to just chill in and you can watch the action in the other rooms from their video screens. There's also windows above where you can watch the action downstairs as well. Highly recommend for friends, parties, or random team bonding events!

I've done the Depths and Timeliner and they were both a ton of fun, especially since I was basically a different person for both experiences. For the Depths I went in with a close group of friends and their goal was as fast as possible, no hints, and the most intense about solving; while I on the other hand felt I would just be in the way so I stood happily to the side drinking my energy drink. Also, can you imagine trying to solve these things while inebriated? Wild. Timeliner was a different story considering I went in with my family whose goal was to solve it by any means necessary, so we took a few hints. But I felt like I had to contribute a little more and I had a little more room to breathe and contribute without being in anyone's way. This made me realize, I actually do love escape rooms! And it's not to say I didn't have fun in the Depths, I just gotta know where I stand LOL. Something I will say is that since I had an 11 month old, I knew that it just wouldn't make sense for me to pay to play, but I would be too worried about my baby to contribute or even enjoy it - so definitely get a baby sitter, especially if you feel that the kids won't really enjoy it. Although, I would bring my baby to GBGS (with earmuffs) which was the original plan but that got booked before we could book it.

Definitely exceeded that 3 hint limit! The room we did was the Y2K one, which was certainly a fun blast from the past room. For those who were 90s kids or fondly remember the 90s, this will definitely be your jam. The room itself was wide ranging of difficulty, while I wouldn't recommend for beginners, it's certainly got a good balance between difficult puzzles and easier ones. The room is also good for kids. Nothing jumpy with it that happens with this one, though, they might miss a lot of the references. But hey, if you're bringing your kids here you can tell them all about the things in there, "Back in my day...", and remind yourself how old you are! She loves the idea of escape rooms, but panics when we're in them LOL! I scoured the internet for something we haven't done before and all the escape rooms were either too pricey, wouldn't explain how to escape when we inevitably didn't breakout, or didn't have private escape rooms. Then Google suggested Scaventours which in all my days of searching never appeared! Scaventours is on the ground floor of Marriot Waikiki. Opposite side of the hotel from the Valet. The side with the tour bus pickup. The sign says they're open daily from 9-7 I believe, but you can look up the games and book online. We booked our game morning of and all went well. There's no parking, so we parked at the Zoo like they suggested. We parked at the back half of the zoo (Mauka side) and just followed that road straight pass Denny's. That path lead us straight to the correct hotel entrance to find Scaventours easily. ALSO, the Zoo Parking wasn't taking debit cards and my husband only had a $10. He paid for 2 hours but the machine didn't give change so we got ripped. Be aware of that when parking there. After reading up on the games, I decided we would do Kanaloa's Curse. A scavenger hunt that stayed INSIDE the hotel with various puzzles fit for ages 6-11 even though some of them had me stumped. I appreciate that the game isn't timed and that there was an option to stay inside the hotel because I'm not trying to take my 7yo scavenger hunting on the streets of Waiks. It was super reasonably priced at $23 for my husband and I and $14 for my daughter. We were given the map and a clipboard of puzzles, complimentary pens and candy and we were off. The hunt took us through the ground floor of the hotel finding different things and solving puzzles. It took us just about an hour with my 7yo finding everything and doing every puzzle, so it was PERFECT for her!! "Not an Escape Room, Just a Frustrating Candy Hunt"…read more I've done a lot of escape rooms, and I can confidently say this was the worst one I've ever experienced. We booked "Sadie's Sweet Shop" at Room with a Clue expecting a fun, candy-themed escape challenge. Instead, we got a poorly designed scavenger hunt with no story, no urgency, and no objective beyond collecting candy. There is no escape element whatsoever--you're not solving puzzles to get out or to advance a storyline. You're just wandering the room trying to figure out what random combination of props might unlock another piece of candy. It felt like the creator designed puzzles purely for their own amusement, not for the enjoyment of players. Many of the puzzles were confusing not because they were hard, but because they were disconnected, self-indulgent, and illogical. To make things worse, the room was filled with red herrings--not clever misdirections, just pointless distractions that wasted time and made the experience frustrating instead of fun. The whole game lacked cohesion. There was no narrative thread tying things together, no build-up, no satisfying payoff. Just a cluttered space full of unrelated tasks. It felt like a rough draft of an escape room, not something worth charging admission for. Escape room fans: skip this one. Honolulu has much better options. Save your time and money
