The route takes you through some breathtaking landscapes, with panoramic views of the Ko'olau Mountains and the ocean. It's easy to see why so many movies and TV shows have been filmed here - every stop feels like a postcard. Along the way, our guides, Iven and Van, were knowledgeable, friendly, and always happy to answer questions while sharing stories about the ranch's history and famous filming locations. A couple tips: it gets very hot during the summer, and the trails can be quite dusty, so wear clothes you don't mind getting dirty. It's all part of the adventure! Overall, this was an unforgettable experience and one I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting Oahu. Just be sure to book your tour early, as popular time slots tend to sell out in advance.

We came back here with our kids, who had never been, and they had so much fun playing in and around the huge trees, running around the big open spaces, and feeding the ducks in the duck pond. A picnic was a delight at a table, and we brought a blanket to sit on and eat snacks again a little later while we were walking around. The bathrooms are nice and renovated. Really appreciate that touch. Overall, a great place to come for a little communue with nature.

Been wanting to visit here for years as the last time was probably in elementary school for a field trip, and I forgot what exactly was here. It was closed during and after covid for years, then reopened to private functions only, and had no idea when it was reopened to the public. $10 for adults ($4 for Kama'aina and military) 7 for ages 6-12, under 6 (and Kama'aina and military) is free. Moanalua Gardens is conveniently located right next to the H-1 freeway. Heading westbound direction is very easy. Note: the parking entrance is literally right before the off ramp. Look for the "Moanalua Gardens" signs. Take the Tripler exit. Look for the entrance on the right. If you're on the off-ramp, you passed it. But that's okay! You can make a right (H-1 eastbound, you'll make a left at the Triper off-ramp), then left on Mahiole St, and turn in the next driveway. You'll drive through the service entrance to the parking lot. Plenty of parking! Pay at the entrance kiosk where they also sell snacks and drinks. Once inside, there's a moss/algae and leaf filled pond. There's koi fish, but the water is dark and murky, you can barely see their bright colors. King Kamehameha V's cottage that looks like a like a usual house. A Chinese style structure that looks like it has seen better days. Both are not accessible. As for the rest, the "Hitachi" monkeypod trees are all well maintained. Even though, there's PLENTY of monkeypod trees around the island, there's not many that's grown in this wide, umbrella shaped figure with branches close to the ground. Overall, it's cool to see the umbrella shaped Hitachi trees in a wide open, park-like space, but the other areas are not very well-maintained. There's not much else to do with some places restricted making it difficult to appreciate the history and importance. Charging $10 regular entrance fee, even the $4 Kama'aina fee, isn't worth it to just go in a what is basically a park. Isn't Hitachi paying atleast $400,000 per year to use the image of the tree in their advertising?

The building that this spot is in looks a little rough, but once you enter Kaeo Studios, it's a vibe! There are many businesses that operate in the same building so parking can be limited until 9pm. Our party was in the Trellis Room and the aesthetic is so cute! It's designed to look like a garden and is very spacious. This room can seat about 20/30 people and there is a separate little room for kids or people who don't want to be in the Karaoke mix hehe. There is no food served as it is BYOB and bring your own food. The service is always efficient and awesome. I am hoping to book my mom's party here this year!

Caller & spoke with the owners & scheduled for my husband to swing by & view. Whelp, lucky us, we have a great karaoke space in our hood! Online reservations make it easy to see what's available. We opted for the pergola room (teenagers bday party) which accommodates 24. Super cute setup, very spacious, private bathroom (it was kinda hidden!). We were allowed to being in our own food & drinks, & they were kind enough to allow me to have personal decorations put up before my daughter arrived. I can't tell you firsthand how the karaoke system setup is (the teenagers made the decisions for the night) but I do know the songs were submitted via their phones. There a QR code to scan, etc. Either way, there weren't any mixups with the songs, pretty smooth. They do have a one/ time charge of $3 per person, if I remember correctly that's like a clean up fee. They also offer some small snacks. Various rooms to accommodate all size parties! They're located in Westgate shopping center, upper floor (Thelma's Filipino food & Leeward drive in are downstairs). Parking lot is decent sized but can definitely fill up with the number of other establishments here.

We went there for a birthday party, we almost went to the wrong place thinking of the veteran hall…read moreoff sand island. This one is located in the salt lake area and the name is Oahu Veterans Center the other off sand island is the Disabled Veterans Center. We were surprised when we got there it has a park and large parking area. The hall is air conditioned and the hall was clean with large restrooms located outside of the hall. They brought in their own food and pupu and they had shave ice, pop corn, cotton candy, pork hash and full bar! Restroom was clean and handicap accessible.

After much discussion this is the venue decided and can see why with lots of free parking on site and the rooms are very spacious as well with about 20+ tables for close to 200+ occupancy it was nice and spacious along with Photo Booth and buffet setting, stage for the MC and slide show fit all perfectly. There was also a bouncy house for the kids outside is a nice touch. I had a great time and liked this venue it's so nice though with a full house did get quite hot, cheers to the Class of 2025! From wedding receptions and baby showers to Junior Chamber of Commerce banquets and - most recently, a medical seminar... this place can transform according to the needs of the hosts! There are movable dividers that can change the size of the room, depending on the number of guests. This property in the Salt Lake district is well kept because of the members of the golf club, the housekeepers, and the groundskeepers. Outside, the grass is green and the plants are healthy. Inside, the decor could be updated, but it's functional. We parked in the members' area for free because security said no members would be coming at this time. We explained that we were here for the seminar and the gentleman was very accommodating. We were able to view the PowerPoint presentation easily because we arrived early and selected the best seats. Luckily, we brought jackets because the air-conditioning was on full blast! We helped ourselves to soft drinks in cans, ice cubes, napkins, and glassware. Later, the hot entrées, fresh fruits, cookies, and green salads were ready for us. The steamed fish, BBQ chicken, white rice, Sautéed veggies, and asparagus salad were delicious! Our used plates were taken away efficiently by the polite staff! It was nice to be back! This was a pleasant trip down memory lane!
