I'm really glad a place like We Rock the Spectrum Kid's Gym exists. It's such a thoughtful concept where kids both on and off the spectrum can explore and meet their sensory needs--especially vestibular play, which I loved seeing incorporated. The setup itself is actually really cute and well thought out. There's a toddler area that I appreciated for my baby, a pretend play section, a small tent she had fun in, and a big trampoline. They also have a quiet area, a coloring room, a teen area, a huge family bathroom, and even a little reading nook. The lobby is super convenient too--lots of toys for sale and tables where you can set your stuff down and have a snack. I also liked that parents are free, you only pay for your child, and there's no time limit. That part was a huge plus. Now... the not-so-great parts. The biggest issue for me was the location and parking. It's honestly not easy. I ended up parking by a nearby furniture store and just hoped I wouldn't get towed. Then it turned into a bit of a walk along a busy street--not ideal with a toddler who doesn't just calmly hold hands. I brought a stroller, which I regret because although the site says you can leave strollers in the lobby, it doesn't mention that the building is older and there's no elevator. I had to carry Laylah and drag the stroller upstairs That part was rough. Thankfully, an employee helped me carry it down when we left, which I appreciated--but still, that whole situation was a struggle. It was also completely empty when we went, which was a little disappointing since I was hoping Laylah could interact with other kids. On the bright side, the owner did pop in occasionally and talk story with me, which was really nice and made it feel welcoming. Overall, I really do love the concept and the space itself, but the parking and accessibility issues made it a bit stressful. I'm not sure if I'd come back right now because of that--maybe when Laylah is older and easier to manage without a stroller. Still, it's a beautiful idea and a space I genuinely want to support.

It's finally open y'all!! This is a business I watched it grow from scratch to this day! I am happy to see a place like this is now available in Hawaii. It's a sensory gym, a safe indoor playground for kids of all abilities. There are a ton of swinging, rolling, spinning things for safe physical activity and there are a ton of other quieter activities like kitchen set, tool station, arts & crafts room, touch/feel elements. I've been telling all manas I know and especially for the families with kids in the spectrum this is such a needed place in Hawaii. Thank you for creating this wonderful place for kids of all abilities! I've seen it first hand that the community needed this

I'm so happy that the We Rock the Spectrum kids' gym is now open here on Oahu. As the mother of a child with autism, I love places like this where I can bring my child and have fun knowing that he's in a safe environment where he can be comfortable. I also love that he's in a place where we are joined by others who are more likely to understand what it's like to have a child on the spectrum. In fact, there's a statement on the wall that says, "Finally a Place Where You Never Have to Say I'm Sorry." This is a kids' gym/play area that is inclusive and open to all abilities. There's a slide, trampoline, climbing wall, a plethora of cool swings, climbing structures, ziplines, etc. They even have a reading area, teen room, arts and crafts room, and a calming room, which turned out to be a big hit with my young son. He loved the ocean-themed room that was dimly lit and absolutely loved the canoe in there. I also like that they have a great nicely sized meeting room. We really are grateful for a place like We Rock the Spectrum. The owner is so nice and welcoming. We went on a weekend, so parking was easy. But, you might want to call ahead to clarify the parking location. The owner explained it to me, but my son was so eager to get inside and play that I didn't quite get to finish that conversation.

This facility is for kids ages 10-months to 10-years old. Socks are required for both kids and adults. Compared to other indoor playgrounds for kids, this one is on the small side. There's a good variety of play areas and activities that my kids don't get bored with the small space, and I enjoy it because it's easier to monitor them versus the larger playgrounds. They have a room for toddlers with a small ball pit, slide, oversized blocks, and toys. Next to it, there is a small rock-climbing wall with a foam pit below, a merry-go-round, kitchen, market with fresh produce, an ice cream stand, a doctor's office, and a dress up and makeup set. For the larger kiddos, they have a huge jungle-gym with a 3-way slide, mini zip-line, larger ball pit with a wall projection that you can throw balls at animated characters and score points. One of my children's favorite areas is the sand pit. Only, the pit isn't filled with sand, but plastic Nerds-like particles. There's a large climbing dome made of netting and sand toys in this area. Monthly passes are available, so is a small party room, and there's a nursing and changing room for your infants. Wipes are available if you need them. Stamp cards are available and you can earn a stamp for each hour-long visit you purchase. After 10 hour-long visits, you can get a free hour for one child. You usually have to ask for the card and for the stamp, as its given upon request. At the time of your exit, they provide your kiddos with balloons. My kids have gotten to choose from animal, sword, and flower balloons. Overall a great place to bring your kids to move around indoors, and give yourself a breather.

The parking is good. It's fenced in which may seem suspicious but I'm sure it's an attempt to protect its customers and the business. This location had everything operating during our visit. The staff is very helpful and accommodating and the business is very clean. It's remarkably tidy in fact! Kudos to the staff. My kids enjoyed the slides the most. There is a lot for kids and toddlers to do here. There is one slide that I was concerned about where it's seemingly a straight drop but it's not but still my heart skips a beat when I think of a smaller child attempting to slide down it. So be warned. We visit during off hours where we nearly get the place to ourselves! And for anyone wondering, they do offer military discount! I would highly recommend this Keiki Kingdom Location above all.

When I talked to the staff about it they kinda just looked at me. They should let customers know on what's broken since we're paying full price thinking everything is available for use. I probably won't be taking my kids here until things get better. Super disappointed

I did recognize a couple of other songs. Perfect setting for little guys as well as older sisters and even mothers who were hitting baseballs or fathers throwing footballs or golfing etc. The party ran from 2-5 pm but birthday boy's parents had several coolers with drinks for the kiddies and adults. Twelve boxes of pizza were ordered and delivered. Assorted individual bags of chips, fresh veggies and dips and of course birthday cake. There was restroom facilities. The only thing I missed was no WiFi except for the employees to run the boxes, computers, sound system. Fast cleanup with helpful adult guests. A nice set up with couches, chairs and picnic table set up for the moms to sit on. Remember to get your parking ticket stamped for free parking. Have fun, you can even enjoy being a spectator.

Went on a…read moreSunday at around 1pm, so we figured there would be a good amount of people, but the parking lot was empty. Outside area looked clean and inviting. Being familiar with Keiki Kingdom, I filled out the waivers ahead of time via the website and clicking on this specific location so that the check in would be quicker. Once we got inside, there were two workers just sitting by down behind the counter. We headed to the counter and I was asked to fill out the waiver. I told them that I filled it out on the website and one of the girls says "every location has their own waiver." I told her "Yes, I went onto the website and clicked on this location" and she looked confused. She then told the other girl to see if they can search it up. Sure enough, she found my waiver. It could be a training issue, but I figured as an employee, they would be familiar with the fact that we could sign the waiver on the website, not only by scanning the QR code at the register. She checked us in and we opted in for socks because we didn't bring ours. She handed us the four pairs without even asking for sizes. Of course I had to switch them out because the socks were way too big. Prices weren't too bad I guess. It was $20 for one adult and one child together for two hours. Fast forward to the play area. It is quite small. Great for letting the kids burn off some energy. Some of the equipment wasn't even working. No employees were actively walking around to upkeep everything like the other locations. I also noticed that our stickers kept coming off and didn't last for even half an hour. Some of the okay areas didn't seem sanitary (there was a used bandaid stuck to the play mat). The restrooms only had one stall, which would be crazy if it were actually busy and knowing how kids can't really hold their bladders would be a nightmare. We weren't even too sure how often they would check on the restrooms to make sure everything was clean. There were a lot of claw machines in different areas. It was honestly the highlight of our time since we actually won stuff. Other than that, my kids spent most of their time jumping on the trampoline after going down the same slides a hundred times. I think we'll stick to paying a little extra for a better play experience for families at the other location.

Like many indoor playgrounds, you need to sign a waiver at check in and purchase their socks to wear. It was quite small compared to a place like Kids City in Kapolei. One thing to note is the check in area is directly in front of the automatic sliding doors leading to the parking lot, so be cautious if you are waiting to sign in and have a runner! My toddler enjoyed the ball pit for a while and then played in their sand bar (hinoki wood cubes), grabbing all the shovels his arms could hold. He also played with the big foam blocks. As another Yelper mentioned, it doesn't seem as clean as other indoor play places because I also saw stickers from different dates in various places. Overall he wasn't too keen on playing here for long, and I felt like I spent a good amount of time chasing him around the play area instead of him actually playing. Maybe if they get more equipment and toys set up? It seemed like half the space was shelves of merchandise or inventory. In any case, we paid for an hour of play, but by 45 minutes our kiddo was ready to leave.
