I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

If you're coming here by yourself I would travel light so you can fit everything you need in lockers. There are about 2 private areas, one is double the size of others. It looks like the smaller area can fit about 20 adults "comfortably," but I'm also going off the assumption there's not much decorations, some space for food, and kids are all playing. If the spaces are not for a private party you can still use them too, but it's at your own risk to leave your stuff in the open. The level my son is at is lots of crawling but the new environment may have been why he mostly sat and just looked around - that and the kids running around. There was only a small area where he could comfortably roam, which I didn't mind because it makes the free admission for him worth it and I only paid $5 since I was with a group. Overall, I can see why this is a lifesaver for parents to let kids get their energy out. It literally is just the 24s of childhood, so who knows, my son may join the membership crew one day. But we do live more central, so maybe not this location.

The Indoor playground it self is ONE FLOOR but it's a big space area with lots of things to do for the kids from toddlers to 6-8 or older kids. One thing I didn't like tho is their AC in the area (It was warm in some places) I seen some parents literally trying to Fan them selves down cause it was Hot in some places (So idk if their AC wasn't working as much) probably something their staff needs to check and fix) Parking - lots of parking within the mall area so that you don't have to worry about. Don't forget to bring a bottle water or a flask with water to stay hydrated specially for the kids so u don't have to buy it at kids city which I'm thinking it's more then what you would spend for a bottle water.

We've been to a few discovery museums (mostly in California) but this one particularly impressed me. The staff was constantly sanitizing the toys and touch surfaces (literally, we would leave an activity and then the worker would spray down everything we had touched). I also liked that they had baskets for people to place toys that needed to be sanitized. Very impressive, and we felt very safe. You could spend HOURS in this place-- especially if your kids want to perform a few plays for you in the theater exhibit. All 3 of my kids loved this place and I wish we had arrived earlier because it was closing time before we knew it. I think this would make for an especially great visit on a bad weather day and/pr when your kids want a break from the beach or pool. If your hotel room isn't ready yet it would be a good way to let kiddos burn off some energy after a long flight too. If you have young kids I would say this is a MUST VISIT. For reference my children are 7, 5, and 2.5 years old (my 4th born is an infant and doesn't even sit or crawl yet so she was too young but I did see some older babies there who seemed to be enjoying themselves in the under 3 years old and under 5 years old zones).

You take a boat out from Waikiki to the submarine and then climb down into the submarine and go underwater. We went more than 100 feet below the surface. And honestly, it was just SO COOL to be sitting in a submarine under the ocean. I've snorkeled and scuba dived before, but this felt completely different. You're actually looking out the windows and watching fish swim by while you're moving along near the ocean floor. We even got to see the artificial reefs and sunken airplanes and ships that have become homes for marine life. The guide was really friendly and pointed out things to look for as we moved along. He also had many, many puns. I also really liked this because you don't have to get in the water. You get the underwater experience without snorkeling, scuba diving, getting covered in sunscreen, or worrying about what you're going to do with your stuff while you're swimming. It felt safe and comfortable and easy. I wasn't expecting this to be my favorite activity of the trip, but it absolutely was. There was something about being under the ocean in a submarine that felt like a real adventure rather than just another tourist activity.

Chad was an outstanding guide--friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and incredibly familiar with the area. He taught us the basics of balancing, paddling, and navigating the water, and within just a few minutes we were confidently paddling alongside him. We explored the river during the evening and sunset, surrounded by beautiful scenery, calm waters, and amazing views. One of our favorite parts was spotting turtles and fish while paddling. Chad also took great photos and made sure everyone felt comfortable and safe throughout the entire adventure. As a parent, I really appreciated how relaxed and family-friendly the experience was. It wasn't dangerous or intimidating at all--it was simply fun, active, and unforgettable. The boys loved it so much that my older son told me he wanted to work for Chad when he grows up so he could do this every day! As soon as you walk in, there's super cute Sanrio backdrops to take photos in front of, Sanrio bags/merch for purchase, and you start your experience wearing hello kitty socks and slippers (optional but highly recommend). After you enter the shop, you can decide whether you want to do their basic package of gel nails + unlimited nail stickers or you can do their upgraded package to have unlimited charms and gems and sparkles. I recommend choosing their unlimited charm bar because they have so many cute items to decorate your nails with! The nail shop is a little different than your typical nail salon. Here, you'll choose your polish (they now have Japanese gel!) and then Kelly (the owner) will teach you how to apply the gel polish on yourself. That's right, it's all DIY but Kelly is a very good teacher. I don't like applying my own nail polish but I found the experience super easy with her guidance. Once you've decided on your nail colors, you can choose from a huge array of stickers or charms to decorate with. Depending on whether you're using the nail stickers or the charms will be a different process but both super simple. And since it's all gel polish, there's little wait time so you can enjoy your nails as soon as you're done! What a perfect way to start your vacation in Oahu! Oh, and the best part? It's BYOB so bring some bottles and your girlfriends and have an amazing time doing your nails together! Entry is only $12, which feels like a great deal for what you get. It's on the smaller side, but still really entertaining. We loved seeing a monk seal swimming around, along with tons of seahorses, jellyfish, a couple sharks, and lots of colorful fish. We even spotted a humuhumunukunukuapuaʻa, which was a fun Hawaii highlight. Only downside was getting bitten by mosquitoes inside, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, we had a really good time and would recommend it as an easy, affordable activity in Waikiki.

The various tanks filled with fish were cool to see and gorgeous in color, but our visit featured many exhibits under construction or remodel, which limited the amount of fish and marine life we expected to see. After about 20 minutes ($12/tickets) we left feeling a little underwhelmed by the entire experience - and determined we'd see more snorkeling, which we can confirm was indeed, the right choice. :/

My daughter attended an art class at your studio and created a drawing of a tropical fish. We were told that because her artwork was so well done, the studio wanted to use the design to create stickers for sale. In return, my 8-year-old daughter was promised a sticker of her own design. When I later followed up, I was informed that I would need to come to the studio in person to pick up the sticker. Since we do not live nearby, I politely asked whether a few stickers could simply be mailed to us using regular postage. Instead, I was told that my daughter would receive only one sticker and that I would need to purchase any additional copies. What disappointed me most was not the value of the sticker itself--it costs only about fifty cents--but the way the situation was handled. Our family spent over $500 on classes during winter break, and I felt that mailing a few stickers featuring my daughter's own artwork would have been a thoughtful gesture, especially after the studio chose to use her design for a product. It has now been over six months, and we still have not received the promised sticker. My daughter continues to ask about it, and it is difficult to explain why something she was promised never arrived. Had the sticker never been offered in the first place, there would have been no expectation and no disappointment. This experience left me feeling that customer appreciation was lacking. While the monetary value involved is very small, keeping promises--especially to a child--is important. Unfortunately, because of this experience, I would not choose to enroll in future classes or recommend the studio to others.

Art Tent is located on South Beretania right across the street from the Honolulu Police Station. They have a drop off spot on Beretania by Bo's Kitchen but the long term parking is in the back of the building. The back of the building is on Kinau Street and is in the 800 Mauka Plaza parking. There's a lot of parking back there. My daughter just finished up her second session at Art Tent Studios. She took the late class on Saturday for grades 1-3 with Mrs. Okano. At first we didn't know what to expect with art class. We didn't know anyone who attended art class here but we just wanted to try because my daughter loves art. It was such a good experience. Her teacher, Mrs Okano, is so creative with all their projects. Each week they were working on something new and interesting. My daughter was always excited to be going to art class. It's really nice that the class size is small and Mrs Okano is a great teacher. She's very patient with them and has them really explore their own creative side rather than each kid just make a copy of the teacher. At the end of the two sessions there was an art exhibition. We got to see all of the art work from all of the classes they offered. My daughter had about 6-7 projects that she completed. You could really see her growth from the first project to the last. We signed up for another session with Mrs Okano and can't wait to see what new things my daughter will be learning.
