What a great idea to DIY nails and bejewel, bedazzle, sticker, glitter all you want!! They make it simple and easy to get started and provide you with the photo op room to do your selfie to your hearts content Smack in the middle of Waikiki and its very convenient location between your shopping, dining, and spa outings. Gotta check this place out! You can thank me later

Bejewel Your Nails located in Waikiki is such a fun concept to host a small group of friends or a girls night out. This is a DIY nail spot that you can choose a polish of your choice or multiple colors and go crazy with the charms and stickers they have to choose from. If you go during a holiday, they even have holiday theme charms. The place is decorated with a Sanrio theme so perfect for my Sanrio girls.

Found on the 3rd floor of STIX Waikiki (same floor as Tanaka of Tokyo) is this unassuming DIY nail bar. Kelly and Shaun, the owners of the nail bar, have done a great job with making the space cute and inviting. It's BYOB, and glasses are provided. I had a vision of turning my green Christmas nails into glam Christmas nails, and the gems and stones + the tools available helped me make that vision come to life! My friend wanted to try the cat eye effect on her nails, and Kelly and Shaun helped guide her towards that. When we were done with our nails, we were invited into their Photo Booth with props galore + a ring light stand for us to use with our phones. Shaun and Kelly shared with us that they have just launched their new reusable press ons as well (convenient for all y'all who can only wear nails once in a blue moon like me). Keep them in mind for your next GNO or for your friend's Bach :) So glad I did this on my visit back home this past December!

I had no experience doing my own nails and they were extremely helpful in teaching me! Everything you need to get started is provided in their studio and very affordable for locals. I highly recommend you come with friends to do your nails together (girl's night out in Waikiki)! They can host parties, are BYOB, and they recently started doing reusable press on nails! Local small business owners, please give them a visit :)

Super awesome DIY boutique nail salon! Single father with a 9 year old daughter so obviously we're both not well versed but the owner took time to sit with us and explain the different types of product offerings along with the process and ensured that we had the best experience possible! My daughter enjoyed looking through the wide selection of adornments and even though she loves Kuromi (which they had many of) she skewed to a Halloween theme. By the end, she LOVED what she accomplished and was so excited to share her newly finished nails with her friends at school. Thank you "Bejewel Your Nails" for helping me create memories that hopefully she'll remember for a lifetime!

As a first time mom to a baby that's age is still free, I am already planning my next visit back…read more I was invited to this event via group so they reserved a whole private area for us. If you're coming here by yourself I would travel light so you can fit everything you need in lockers. There are about 2 private areas, one is double the size of others. It looks like the smaller area can fit about 20 adults "comfortably," but I'm also going off the assumption there's not much decorations, some space for food, and kids are all playing. If the spaces are not for a private party you can still use them too, but it's at your own risk to leave your stuff in the open. The level my son is at is lots of crawling but the new environment may have been why he mostly sat and just looked around - that and the kids running around. There was only a small area where he could comfortably roam, which I didn't mind because it makes the free admission for him worth it and I only paid $5 since I was with a group. Overall, I can see why this is a lifesaver for parents to let kids get their energy out. It literally is just the 24s of childhood, so who knows, my son may join the membership crew one day. But we do live more central, so maybe not this location.

I liked that they were cleaning a lot, which made me feel more at ease! There were party rooms available. I also liked how they would periodically update their equipment, games, and toys. The only thing that was usually not working well was one of the games in the video game area on the bottom floor. Other than that, my kids always had a blast here! I'm looking forward to visiting their new location opening at the old Saks Off Fifth Avenue store by the Target at Ala Moana!

Ever got pissed about BS work stuff? (SMASH that monitor!)…read more That guy who cut you off (without blinkers) near University, have you foaming at the mouth? (THROW that glass tea cup!) That lying, stink breath, snake of a property manager who takes weeks to respond & overbilled you, make you see red? (SWING that metal pipe!) You ever feel so angry, you want to scream and break sh*t without someone calling the cops? (SLEDGEHAMMER that plate!). (All of this is being done legally & safely, of course, with safety suits and helmets/gloves, if you decide to drop some $$ and spend some time here.) There is a good selection of shattery breakables to choose. We were given 45 minutes but the two of us finished in about 20 (I guess we had a lot to unleash!). It gets hot in the helmet/suit, especially when you're expelling all that rage, so expect a good workout (cathartic even!) Call/check out their site for discounts/promos (including Kama'aina). Parking: lots of garage parking around the Ward/Kaka'ako area, if you don't mind a short warmup walk over.

Tried Out a Rage Room for the First Time - Totally Worth It!…read more I've been hearing about this rage room for a while and finally decided to check it out. I called ahead to ask about any discounts for locals or birthdays, and they told me they do offer a local discount with valid ID -- nice little bonus! They also said they had availability that day, so I figured, why not? The whole experience was super satisfying. Ever feel like breaking something at work but don't want to get fired? Break n Anger is the place to let that urge out safely and legally. Here's how it works: You get to choose 2 items from the top shelf and 5 items each from shelves 2, 3, and 4 -- so about 17 items total to smash. After signing the waivers, you suit up in a jumpsuit, gloves, and a helmet. They offer earplugs too, but I skipped those -- the sound of breaking stuff is half the fun. Honestly, the time flew by -- I went all in for 10 minutes and it felt like seconds. I probably should've paced myself, but I really wanted to let the rage out. No regrets though -- it was super fun, and I can totally see this being a great team-building activity. I'm definitely planning to go back and try the premium items next time!

We've been to a few discovery museums (mostly in California) but this one particularly impressed me. The staff was constantly sanitizing the toys and touch surfaces (literally, we would leave an activity and then the worker would spray down everything we had touched). I also liked that they had baskets for people to place toys that needed to be sanitized. Very impressive, and we felt very safe. You could spend HOURS in this place-- especially if your kids want to perform a few plays for you in the theater exhibit. All 3 of my kids loved this place and I wish we had arrived earlier because it was closing time before we knew it. I think this would make for an especially great visit on a bad weather day and/pr when your kids want a break from the beach or pool. If your hotel room isn't ready yet it would be a good way to let kiddos burn off some energy after a long flight too. If you have young kids I would say this is a MUST VISIT. For reference my children are 7, 5, and 2.5 years old (my 4th born is an infant and doesn't even sit or crawl yet so she was too young but I did see some older babies there who seemed to be enjoying themselves in the under 3 years old and under 5 years old zones).

A lot of the things inside appear to have looked the same for maybe 25+ years, so I think the center is due for some upgrades. Additionally, it would be good if there's more effort for cleaning and sanitizing toys throughout the day. I sat on something there and realized it was somebody's bodily fluid. I tried looking for a hand sanitizing station, but it was out. I ended up going to the bathroom to wash it off with soap. Despite this incident, I still like taking my kid here. I just bring hand sanitizing wipes and wash our hands as often as we can.

Of course, my son absolutely loves it and I've noticed his confidence increase from working with the teachers here so we will continue to come back.
