I went to Keiki Republic in Kahala with my daughter, SIL, and granddaughter to check things out. It's a large open space with tons of activities, toys, mazes, and things to keep the little one occupied and expending energy. You can pay by the hour for each session, or get a monthly pass that allows unlimited time each month. They do ask everyone to sign an electronic waiver, so bring your smartphone to make things easier. You also need to wear socks in the play area, to prevent damage to the padded surfaces. I would recommend getting some grippy socks, because some of the play surfaces are fairly slick when wearing regular socks, and it's like walking on ice. Everything is pretty safe for all ages of children, as parents and caregivers are all watching over their own flock. They do have a staff person that also monitors the area and cleans and wipes down surfaces periodically. The main thing to watch out for (as with most toddler play areas) is when older kids are playing in the same area as smaller ones. It's a pretty big space overall, so it really wasn't an issue while we were there, but it's still something to keep in mind. There is a lot to do and my granddaughter definitely had her favorites, such as the merry-go-round, the climbing area, and (for some reason) the zip line ride. She avoided the ball pit for some reason, but maybe she'll grow into it as she gets older. We spent a couple of hours there and it definitely wore her out, and all of us as well. It's a great place to spend for any family with little ones, and I know we'll be back.

Great pricing! Lots of different activities and flexible for young kids and toddlers! We had a blast with our 2 year old and it definitely was the highlight of our day; SLIDES, ball pits, cars, trampolines, and lots of pretend play set ups (kitchen, house, etc).

Fun for the kiddos in the mall! This place is great for toddlers, not so much for big kids. There's even a little space for your extra tiny tots in the left-hand corner up front. The space is relatively small compared to other playgrounds so wherever you're situated, you can most likely spot your little one quickly. Much like other children's indoor activities and playgrounds facilities, Keiki Republic has a ball pit, slides, play areas with pretend market and food toys, toy cars to ride in, trampolines, etc. The thing I found very unique about Keiki Republic is a workout area with kid-size workout stations. There's an ab cruncher, a mini speed bag, Socks are required and they have socks for sale if you forget to bring some. Customer service is good. They also come around to sanitize play areas regularly. When you leave, your kiddo(s) get a free balloon to take with them.

What a fun indoor play place for children! Keiki Republic hits all the marks for a place to let your high-energy kid run around and burn off some steam. Keiki Republic is one of the more affordable indoor playplaces located just outside of Ross at Windward Mall. 1-hour admission for a child is $16, and one parent is free. An additional parent is $5. We arrived on a Thursday around 11:30 a.m. and there was no wait - we could walk right in. My son made a b-line for all the fun toys and attractions they have: a motorized excavator truck, a huge ball pit with slide and video game screen, a bouncy house, several make-believe toy stations like a grocery store and kitchen, and more. He bounced around from attraction to attraction, taking to mostly the toys actually. They had a cool automated Thomas the Train toy he loved. He also finally got into the jungle gym and slides which were a cool way to burn off energy. Of course, when it was time to leave, he started crying, but the nice lady working the front gave him a balloon, and that eased his tears! This location also has a changing table, restrooms inside the play place, and water fountains as an extra bonus. Don't hesitate to check this place out!

    Mickey theme was a blast!

The whole family had fun at my sons first birthday party! Good vibes, entertainment for the keiki and karaoke for the teens! Mahalo nui!

We love Windward mall, so we were excited to find an indoor playground located right next to fun factory. It's a large venue with multiple play areas, ball pit, trampoline, mini bouncer, mini carousel to name a few. They even have a spacious baby/toddler area. I love that they offer a one hour option, $16 and I think 2 hours is $22, one parent is free. These prices are cheaper than Kids City. They also have a large private room for private parties. Recommend and we'll be back on our next Windward mall adventure. Kids and parents need to bring socks.

Perfect place for 6yrs and under. It's small enough to keep track of your kids without losing them and there are so many things to do!

What age range is Keiki republic appropriate for?

I would say that as long as your child can stand on their own, it should be okay. Of course, if they can walk, it's even better. My granddaughter just started walking at 13 months and she enjoyed almost everything there, even the zip-line; with… Read more

Now, at four years old, she's incredibly engaged in her activities. She also receives tutoring twice a week, and I must say that teacher Kim plays a pivotal role in her learning, from writing her name to mastering other essential skills. Got Funn offers a similar experience with circle time and various activities, making it the perfect way for our child to learn and have fun simultaneously.

What TOTALLY IMPRESSED me was the "school time" when they had singalongs, story time, shape, alphabet, number, color recognition, and a hands on art activity in the letter of the day. As a retired elementary school teacher, it was clear that "Aunty Kim" has educational training. She does everything so positively and has so many "tricks" in helping the children use liquid glue, hold a crayon, and even coughing ("Ninja cough" to cover their mouth and not spread germs). All of these are ideas I'll use with my little ones at home! My only critique is why is it spelled FUNN? Wouldn't it be better to teach and show the children the correct spelling?

A large climbing maze like structure with suspended bridges and padded stairs. Market area for kids to pretend to shop for foods. Ice cream trolley that's kid sized. Another indoor playground for the keiki? YES!!!…read more It seems like over the last few years, business owners are realizing how sought after these indoor playgrounds are for working parents, stay at home parents, young kids, and old! Location is in Kailua, right off the main drag on Hamakua Street (look for the bright yellow building). The parking lot has about a half dozen stalls on the right hand side (beware you may be towed if you park on the left side). I asked the manager where to park as the signage wasn't very clear, so be warned. Pricing: Rates are per child: $15 for one hour, $20 two, $27 for three, and so on. Adults are $3 each. Grip socks are required for all (customers are allowed to bring their own). They also offer all day rates and monthly passes (M-F only). They also feature a stamp card for loyal customers: buy 10 sessions, get one free! There's a bunch of toys and entertainment for all ages: a carousel, obstacle course, slide, Lego stations, and play supermarket. A few unique stations are the rock climbing wall, concert/band area (with drums, piano, ukulele, and microphones), and a big screen TV that featured cartoons for the kids. Open seven days a week. The kids love the trampolines, lego sets, ball pit, and rock climbing wall. Restrooms available. Thanks Hi Keiki Playground for bringing the FUN to Kailua! We wish you all the joy and success!

One of the best well kept, hidden secrets on Windward side of Oahu. Lots of free parking available on both sides of the street. Also park along Hui Iwa Street as a secondary option. This site is hidden from the street with secured gates. Ambiance is clean, low key and ideal for comfortably hosting 50 to 60 people. Outside of recreation center includes outdoor tables with benches on both sides of the facility and four BBQ grills. We also had room for bean toss bag set-up for kids and adults. There were tables and chairs inside the recreation center to accommodate 64 guests, kitchen with sink and spacious for setting up food line and desserts. Decided to have coolers of beverages outside of building. Recreation center overlooks 3 ft to 8 ft rectangular swimming pool, kiddie pool, lounge chairs. There's a separate building across from the pools that offer men and womens' restroom. Womens bathroom includes two toilets stalls, shower area, two sinks with two liquid soap dispensers. There are signs that indicate warning no lifeguards on duty. However, we had one lifeguard on duty to ensure safety of guests. No diving allowed sign. There is also a please shower before entering the pool sign located at bathroom entrances. The only amenity this place does not have is a jacuzzi. Beautiful and stunning view of the Koolau Range is the icing on the cake for any celebration. Quite pleasantly surprised with amazing pool party.
