Another fun day at this indoor mini golf spot. It was raining outside and we were looking for something to keep the kids busy and this was just the thing. The space is small but has a lot of holes to pass through. Yes, it was busy and we had to wait for every hole in front of us to be free but that was expected based on it being a rainy day and we could clearly see when we started how many people were there so we knew what we were in for. Even so, the kids still had fun and everyone gets a prize at the end too (in our case it was a light up ring)! The place was clean and seems to be up-kept. My daughter and her cousins got to enjoy some quality time on our trip playing here. The girl working at the desk was friendly and helpful. $12 each to play 18 holes. They had a special for players to enjoy a replay for free on a Wednesday evening. There was no one else there so the kids could take their time. This place hasn't really changed and as simple as I remember. There wasn't too many people playing which was great because with two little ones, you are either playing fast or super slow. The black light tube on certain holes was a hit with my daughters. Be careful of the change in height of the holes, because I ended up tripping in a spot where I didn't judge the tape to edge of step very well. The space isn't very big and each hole is close to the next. No moving objects trying to up your strokes. Parking - there is a lot of parking around the mall. Service - there was only one employee at the time. He was nice and explained the course and the clubs which would suit our children. Noticed at the end you put the putters in a big trash bin marked as used, but he puts them back up without wiping them. The kids got free glowing lights that you can out on your fingers. This is an cool indoor activity to do with your ohana! Located inside the Windward Mall. I love that it's glow in the dark --gives a unique experience, especially if you're wearing lighter color clothing (Wear White if you want to glow more). Make sure to get a pencil and paper to keep score. There aren't many mini golf spots on the island, so this was a fun experience. We've been here several times and always been a positive experience. We were on the Windward side last weekend so we decided to check out Windward mall. We found that there was a Glow Putt and thought that would be something fun for my daughter to do. When we went to Bishop Museum she loved the glow in the dark tunnel so we thought she would love this place just as much. Glow Putt is located upstairs and it's a pretty big open space. The prices are pretty affordable. It was $5 for kids and $7 for adults. We just paid for her because we knew that we would be spending most of the time helping her to hold the club and teaching her how to hit the ball. I think she enjoyed it. It was cool because every other hole you put your ball in a little tube and it goes down to revitalize itself so that it glows again brighter. I think that was one of her favorite parts, being able to find the hole to put the ball in to make it glow more. She wasn't very good at the beginning. But I think she slowly got the hang of it. The course is spaced out pretty well so you're not right next to the people ahead of you. Some of the holes are pretty tricky because there's bumps in the green but it was fun. They had a hole where you had to hit it in one of the three cups to get it closer to the hole. She didn't get it but she liked trying it again from the top and just rolling it in the cups to see where it landed. This was a great family event. The guy working was really rude to my 13 year old child and her friends. My daughter ACCIDENTALLY walked up a ramp thinking it was part of the course. The guy proceeds to tell them in a rude tone, "Get off of that now. Get down." (It's a 2ft little ramp) "I'm not going to babysit you- where's your supervisor?" My child called me immediately while he was still speaking, so I heard how he was talking to them. I walked over in less than 15 seconds. When I walked into the store (I was in eyesight of the putt putt place the entire time), he was still being rude when speaking with me. They are all well behaved, quiet, polite kids. They didn't damage anything, they weren't being loud- they're teens playing putt putt. Completely unnecessary the way he spoke to them for accidentally walking up what they thought was part of the game, and how he handed the situation was bizarre. Just because they're kids doesn't mean you're allowed to speak to them in a rude, disrespectful way- especially over something so small. We definitely won't be coming back here. It's also way overpriced. $11 with military discount; $45 for 4 people, 10 minutes, and rude staff that takes his job way too serious. No thanks. read more

Fun date activity/hang out! I think I saw Glow Putt on social media, so decided to swing by. Glow Putt is tucked away in Windward Mall. Park in the parking garage closest to Glow Putt on Google Maps :) Staff was friendly, and explained the routes (just follow the arrows on the ground). Generally, pretty clean. They provide a glow-in-the-dark wrist band to start, and provide a finger light after. Most of the courses are not too challenging, definitely some quick 30-45 min of fun! read more

We've been curious about this place for awhile, and wanted to try out a new and cost friendly date idea. It's located in the Windward Mall on the second floor- and there's plenty of parking in the mall parking lot. We actually live closer to the Glow Golf in Aiea, but decided to come here because of the ratings- plus that scenic drive to the Windward side gives us good feelings. It was so unique and fun! They'll give you the simple directions at the counter (they offer a small military discount). Just follow the arrows from one hole to the next, and at every other hole- make sure to drop your golf balls into the wooden boxes at the start. It'll light up your golf balls with the UV light!! It's pretty impressive that they can fit 18 semi-challenging holes in this space. We went on a Saturday around 4:30pm. I was a little nervous that there would be too much waiting, or that we'd feel rushed by the people behind us. But it was fine, even with families there! It really wasn't too crowded or empty at that time. I think that might be why this spot has better reviews than Aiea- because the mall itself isn't too crowded. The UV lights are fun, and it doesn't feel like it's too dark in there. Wear white if you want to glow too! The kids that were there looked like they were having fun, and we'd definitely recommend it for a date activity as well. The mini golfing isn't as large as Bayview's mini golfing, but it is still fun especially with neon glow-in-the-dark lighting. There are 18 holes so it's worth the money. It costs $7 per person (6yrs or older) or kids (5yrs or younger) are $5. What's great is that they have Military/Law Enforcement discount of a $1 off so don't forget to bring your ID or credentials. We've been going to Windward Mall glo putt for more than 15 years. It's always family fun for a reasonable price. We passed by the new Glo Putt in Waikiki and wanted to give it a try. The BEST mini putt ever!!! The owners are so nice and you can tell they really love kids. This place is always clean and the black light with everything neon makes it so fun. My kids LOVE it. And I love that it's air conditioned. I'm all about customer service and this place they treat you like family EVERY time we go there the man and his wife are so nice. At the start you get a glow bracelet and they let you pick the color you want. At the end you get a finger light! Prices are already low and on top of that they give you 2 free gifts. My kids are very rambunctious and they never scold them in a mean way and if they know parents are addressing their kids, they don't step in to additionally scold your kid. That irritates me the most when other places will scold your child in a mean tone even when they know you as a parent are addressing it. We've been here many times and only once has the man asked us politely not to swing the club so hard. They understand that kids are kids. They are still learning. First time here and I definitely enjoyed it. $7 per player for adults. It was my first time mini golfing so I was pretty excited. We walked in and was greeted by a kind gentleman. He explained how to charge the golf balls, asked if we wanted to keep score, and had us pick our putters. 18 holes for $7? I think that deal is pretty good! Your able to bring food and drinks for the party. There are two rooms that are available for rent. The large room holds up to 50 people ($100 for 2 hours) and the smaller room holds up to 25 people ($50 for 2 hours). They also offer frequent play cards. After the 5th stamp you get a free round. I'm not much of a golf lover but this place is very family friendly and fun! Wearing white really glows in the black light. Love it! Whenever we plan to come here, we specifically coordinate white clothes. Military discount offered and ask for their stamp card. We filled several of them up already and got couple free games. On the last hole, if you make it in the target, you get a prize! An assortment of mini light of toys. I'm so glad they are still around. If I can recall, I think they closed for a bit, reopened in Ala Moana, then closed that location but eventually made their way back to Windward mall. This place is awesome! I've only ever been there in the morning time so it's usually not very busy when I'm there. I'm not sure if it picks up during the day but if it doesn't, why not? There's a fun time to be had by anyone of any age. They also are available for birthday parties. The price is great! Even if you pay for more than 1 person, it won't burn a hole in your wallet. It'll take you about an hour or so the play all 18 holes. Awesome for killing time, right? You can choose between a friendly game or a competitive game. They give you a sheet of paper with a lot of space for all the players involved. Just remember, in golf the one with the lowest score wins. I have been there when there are other people there. It does take awhile when you have to wait. Two things you can do: 1) wait patiently (usually it's a little kid and their parent(s) playing) or 2) hope the people in front let you go past them. Went here 4/30/2021 with long time friend's family. At first I thought it's just putt-putt, but there is a neon glow theme, it's inside Windward Mall, and air-conditioned! There's a discount for military and for Kamaāina (local residents). Safe COVID protocol was followed--each putter and ball was sanitized after use and masks were required. We had a blast! For some friendly competition, we agreed to have the middle score pay for dessert later on (go for low score or high score). Each hole was different, of course, and fun to play in the dark with glowing accents and lights (I remember the split level hole with 3 different color starting holes). As there were 5 of us, we were having such so much fun and taking so long (over an hour for one game) that we let others play through the next hole, as necessary. My 4yrs old son loves this place so much that we come here every weekend. It's very reasonable, $5 for kids and $7 for adults for 18 holes of mini glow putt. First you pay, then they give everyone a glow bracelet and you grab a putt according to your height. They also give you a glow in the dark ball. You start from 1st home and it's clearly marked where to go next. Also at every other hole, they have this lighted thing to put your ball through so your ball stays nice and shiny. Every course of different with some bumps, turns, hill, loops and lots of fun glow pictures along the way. I recommend you go early before it gets crowded because if you have a big group in front of you, you're gonna be waiting until they're done with every hole. After having some sushi grinds at Ninja Sushi my group of four wanted to do something fun. It was a decision between Hawaii Escape Challenge or a round of miniature golf at Glow Putt. Since the employee at HEC was busy setting up the room and took a bit of a long time to come back out by the reception area...my group ended up going to Glow Putt. Glow Putt is located on the second floor near the movie theaters at Windward Mall. When my group got to the establishment there was only two other groups ahead of us. Credit cards are accepted as a payment. We each had a different color glow in the dark bracelet. Since it was my birthday I also received a small flashing light to be placed on my shirt. The course was a lot of fun to do. Two of my friends manage to get hole in ones. The most difficult course to do was number 16. When I tried to get my golf ball in the white hole it ended up going off course several times. I quit number 16 after almost 20 swings. After spending close to an hour doing miniature golf we found out that there's a birthday package deal. There's a section towards the back end of the establishment that has tables and chairs. Potluck foods and drinks can be brought in for birthday parties. Glow Putt is a lot of fun...especially when a person is in a group of family or friends. Mini golf in the dark. There are black lights all over the place, so wear your coolest shirt with a light-colored pattern. You will glow in the dark just like the balls. I had a lot more fun than I thought I would at Glo Putt. If I had to do it over again I would go on a "school night" to avoid the mass of kids there. It was pretty packed. It would have been more comfortable if each station were farther apart. 18 holes took at least an hour, so I felt I got my money's worth. There are score cards to use and each participant gets a glow in the dark bracelet. There's a small area sort of fenced off for private parties. They let you bring in your own food and drink, but probably not alcohol. I think this would be a cool place for a birthday party for kids aged 8 - 13.
