Glad this could be Jack's first-ever round. Jack had a blast hockey-sticking the ball through pineapples, coconuts, tikis, drums, and a volcano. Ryan at the desk had genuine good-guy energy and took the time to explain what they're building toward. This is just the front lanai piece (mini golf first) while they work on the rest of the space. Apparently their Oregon location includes shuffleboard, golf simulators, and a full bar. For now, it's a fun hang with the little ones. We'll be back as more of the spot comes online.

Anyone with children knows that kids forget and it may happen again without intention. It was an innocent mistake, and there was absolutely no reason for the manager to speak to a child in such an aggressive manner. When I calmly explained that concerns about a child's behavior should be addressed to the parents rather than directed aggressively at the child, the manager became combative and dismissive instead of apologizing or handling the situation professionally. A family attraction should know how to treat families with basic respect. The issue was the manager's attitude and lack of professionalism. What should have been a fun family outing was overshadowed by an unpleasant interaction with someone who clearly lacks the temperament for customer-facing management with young children and families. I won't be returning, and I would encourage other families to boycott this establishment. This is absolutely not the type of environment they want for their children.

If it wasn't for us arriving after the storm passed, they would've rescheduled us. We paid: $200 per golfer $80 to be a rider $80 rental $30 ball rental $100 Royal Hawaiian golf shirt $60 per golf hat They had a two person per golf cart policy. So if you're a single rider and it's a busy day you might be paired up. The golf cart was nice because it told you how far your in yardage your ball was, it had Bluetooth to play music from your phone, and a GPS. The course is surrounded by lush mountains and tropical landscape that make every hole feel amazing. There is new management (Gerry) in the pro shop at Ke'alohi, whom worked between 7pm-10pm 2/14 and is absolutely horrendous. He has some sort of superior mentality on him and was so rude. We started the 9 holes around 8 Pm with a group of 6. At 8:40 pm while we were finishing up hole 4 all of the lights on the course turned off. We had to call multiple times to let him know we were still out on the course and finishing hole 4, he instantly acted annoyed that he had to turn the lights back on an hour before they closed. When we were in the middle of hole 6 at approximately 9:05pm, Gerry walked out to us and told us that our group of 6 with need to split into two groups because of "pace of play" . I would normally understand however there was absolutely no one else on the course and it would have taken us longer to finish waiting for half our group to finish each hole before the next half started because we had been hitting a few people at a time when we could. After he told us we needed to split up, he proceeded to say "you guys need to hurry the lights turn off in less than 20 minutes" which would be approx 9:20 pm. I proceeded to let him know online says 9:45pm and that never in the many times we have played have they turned off prior to that. His response was "okay 40 minutes then". While walking off he actively signed and let out a "whatever". We decided to skip a hole so we could have extra time to speak with him about the issues. We took our bags out to our vehicle at approx 9:35 pm after finishing hole 9. When we were getting ready to walk back in he already had the course and shop closed completely and was walking to his vehicle with his wife whom had been waiting on him. He was leaving before the course was supposed to even close. This was the absolutely worst visit, and we'd love the much older gentleman who use to run the pro shop back!

She loves the idea of escape rooms, but panics when we're in them LOL! I scoured the internet for something we haven't done before and all the escape rooms were either too pricey, wouldn't explain how to escape when we inevitably didn't breakout, or didn't have private escape rooms. Then Google suggested Scaventours which in all my days of searching never appeared! Scaventours is on the ground floor of Marriot Waikiki. Opposite side of the hotel from the Valet. The side with the tour bus pickup. The sign says they're open daily from 9-7 I believe, but you can look up the games and book online. We booked our game morning of and all went well. There's no parking, so we parked at the Zoo like they suggested. We parked at the back half of the zoo (Mauka side) and just followed that road straight pass Denny's. That path lead us straight to the correct hotel entrance to find Scaventours easily. ALSO, the Zoo Parking wasn't taking debit cards and my husband only had a $10. He paid for 2 hours but the machine didn't give change so we got ripped. Be aware of that when parking there. After reading up on the games, I decided we would do Kanaloa's Curse. A scavenger hunt that stayed INSIDE the hotel with various puzzles fit for ages 6-11 even though some of them had me stumped. I appreciate that the game isn't timed and that there was an option to stay inside the hotel because I'm not trying to take my 7yo scavenger hunting on the streets of Waiks. It was super reasonably priced at $23 for my husband and I and $14 for my daughter. We were given the map and a clipboard of puzzles, complimentary pens and candy and we were off. The hunt took us through the ground floor of the hotel finding different things and solving puzzles. It took us just about an hour with my 7yo finding everything and doing every puzzle, so it was PERFECT for her!! At the end, we returned to the store, unlocked the treasure, she got some prizes, and we took photos with the mascot raccoon statue. She was immediately begging to do the rest of the hunts. Successful find both Scaventours and the actual scaventour!!!!

Nice little course, not the best of greens but playable. No traps, no water so you can concentrate on making good contact. For the most part the areas around the greens are decent. Easy walk and you only need a handful of clubs, a couple tees and a ball. Pretty hard to lose one here. Would be fun for even non-golfers. Only challenging part is getting on base!

The green fees are charged based on your military pay grade. This is an easy course to walk and play. It is a short course and you really don't have to carry all your clubs or a big golf bag, you really might only need 4 clubs. Not alot of people playing this course so it is great if you are learning and need some extra time. You wont be rushed and if you are the people are ok with playing through. They have a small pro shop that sells some clubs, balls, hat's, and other golf equipment at pretty good prices. They service is outstanding. Also in the area is a small bar with great service and a pretty good selection of drinks. The ladies are very nice and helpful. Lots of T.Vs so you won't miss the game. They have dive bar prices.
