Love this place--it really has it all. Great food, solid service, and a restaurant that makes it easy to hang out before or after a round. The course is fun and a little different in a good way. It starts off with a few par 3s, which keeps things interesting, then opens up nicely as you go. It's well laid out and enjoyable whether you're playing seriously or just out to have a good time. The putting green and driving range are a big plus too--everything you need is right there. Honestly, we don't need no stinking Topgolf when you've got a setup like this. I grew up on this golf course. During the 70s, they used to have night golf here. Which I really miss. I recently played around with my son (I haven't played golf in over 10 years ) and I was quite surprised. The greens are in very good shape, for the amount of rain it gets, the greens roll very true. Also, there are a lot of undulations in most of the greens so it makes it very challenging. After a round of golf, you can relax at Jolene's where we can get very good food and a nice cold beer. This is a great course if you just beginning to golf. They also have a little putt course and a zip line, they also have party facilities. All in all a great venue. read more

I've been golfing at Bayview GC almost exclusively for the past 3 years. I normally golf at least twice a week, usually 3 times and sometimes 4 times a week, and typically walk in the morning or at Twilight. They have raised their greens fees at least twice over that past three years, but have been working on significant course improvements and beautification over that same period. It's now more expensive for me to play here, than at the C&C municipal courses (as a senior), but I like coming here due to the convenience of the location, the course conditions, playability and Jolene's Restaurant. Even with all the good, there are a couple of things that frustrate me though. They no longer are listed in the GHIN handicap system for the past couple of years. Although you still can use the scores to log a handicap, it must be done manually in the app or website, since they are no longer a participating course. They also removed Hole #5 a couple of years ago due to the removal of the bridge, and added a new hole, #10A. This complicates things when trying to use a golf GPS app to track yardage and shots, since these apps still use the old course layout with hole #5, and do not show the new #10A hole. The new hole is great; tough, but great, with the "Island green" feel, and I've only managed to par or birdie it a few times. The adjoining driving range offers a nice amenity to the course, especially with their Toptracer system. They have been having "Closest to the pin" contests every week, and I am a regular participant. One issue is with parking on Tuesdays. The Jolene's restaurant has been having a "Night Market" event every Tuesday, which has been a great success. So much so that they have decided to offer valet parking by closing off two rows and reserve that for the valets. This coincides with one of the Closest to the pin contest nights, and puts a severe strain on parking, for attendees to the Night Market, the Driving Range, and even for afternoon golfers, especially since they recently installed Tesla EV chargers along the top row of parking and limited it to EV car parking only. I certainly hope something can be worked out soon, perhaps moving the Driving range contest to a different night? Anyway, they continue to work on the course, with recent greens aeration, and also working on several tee boxes. The pace of play has improved with the hiring of new course marshals (especially Greg B.) and overall facility renovation and beautification. I booked a mini putt session at 6pm. I had to drive and waste my gas for over an hour in the Waikīkī. We came at 5:30 and the 2 men at the reception said they were closed. We wasted our time and gas to tell us they were closed. I am so disappointed. I want my money back and reimbursement for gas. The guy with the glasses was just sitting down lying back and just offered a refund. If you guys knew, you should notified your customers that you were closed. Bay View Golf Course, located on the Windward side of Oahu, is a perfect spot for beginners and anyone looking for a relaxed round of golf. I recently took three friends here who are new to the game, and it was the ideal setting for them. The course is well-maintained and manageable for those still learning, but still offers enough of a challenge to keep things interesting. The par-3 course is shorter than a traditional course, making it ideal for practicing short game skills and building confidence without the pressure of long drives. This design provide a good introduction to the game for beginners. The views add to the experience, making it a beautiful place to practice and enjoy the day. Terrible experience at Bay View Golf Course. Jolene was extremely rude and called my wife an idiot over the phone to another employee not knowing my wife was sitting right there. Another older staff member then interrogated her about our marriage, which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. Course was fine but course staff were unbelievably rude. read more

Extremely disappointed in the new management. Prior management used to offer the resident military rate (we do live here!) with proof of residency such as a utility bill even though we don't have Hawaii licenses. Every other course on the island does this, and doesn't even ask to see a bill or other proof. Apparently Bayview new management wasn't making enough money on all of their local military customers, and decided to price gouge us at $66 for 18 holes. Nearly double the price, make no mistake: this course is NOT worth $66. At $38, you could look past the bathrooms that make you gag, long waits at every tee box, and terrible course conditions. I used to love playing this course whenever I had a couple free hours, and it's sad to see what it's becoming. Shame on new management for targeting the local military members. Edit: I was even able to get my Hawaii address on my out of state license-- still not good enough for Bayview! When I noticed them blocking off part of their parking lot for the night market to charge for "valet parking", it's increasingly clear where their priorities stand. $$$ Disgusted with Bayview, money better spent elsewhere read more

Absolutely LOVE this place! From the DRIVING RANGE, you catch a beautiful view of Kane'ohe Bay. There are 2 levels, so there are lots of bays to choose from. This is a TopTracer course which is fun! Keep in mind that there is a small fee to have access to TopTracer but it's not required to hit balls. DRINKS: There's a restaurant with drinks/beers as soon as you walk in the building. There are a few beers on tap, a few local. They also have mix drinks too. PARKING: Private lot with lots of parking. You won't have any issues finding a spot. DRIVING RANGE REVIEW ONLY! For golf course review, see my previous review from 2022. HOURS: open til 10pm (Sun-Th) or 11pm (Fri/Sat) every day, check hours before you go! This is the only driving range I know that's open til 11pm on weekends. Because of this, there are a lot of families, groups of teenagers and young kids, couples on dates, etc. because this becomes a "party", and not necessarily a place to seriously "practice your golf swing" **. We went on a Friday night and the music was blasting, food was coming out hot, and this must be the place for all the kids not old enough to go to 21+ clubs etc. Luckily I have one of those kids, so he really enjoyed the atmosphere and wasn't the worst one on deck. 2 STORIES! There are two levels you can hit off, with about 25 bays on each floor. This is like the cheaper version of TopGolf, and I'm here for it, because TopGolf has become really expensive. NO RESERVATIONS. You show up and if they're full, you have to just wait til someone is done. ** BALLS. These are the WORST driving range balls in the history of all balls**. They are chipped, scuffed, or just flat out cracked down the middle. These balls are the rejects of the rejects, all different colors, brands, price points. I am convinced that these are the balls that everyone loses on hole 15 in the lake on their adjacent golf course. Why else do you think they make you tee off a mountain across a huge lake? It's to feed their driving range. Duh. If you do actually make it across the lake, it's on a backwards downslope so you can watch your ball roll backwards into the lake. And if you are skillful enough to not lose any balls on that hole, they get you on the next hole 16, where the green slopes downward...into the SAME LAKE! Sneaky huh. Now you know. MATS. These mats have seen better days; lots of indentations where people have stood, scuff marks where people have repeatedly scraped the mat, but c'mon, when you get on the golf course, it's never perfectly flat either. ** PRICING. During peak hours it's $20 for a bucket of 100 balls. If you come during off peak, that same bucket is $15. If that seems pretty steep, it is, because you get TOP TRACER on each shot. TOP TRACER is the program on their TV screens in each bay that gives you immediate feedback on each ball you hit. You can just hit and try to dial your distances for each club, or you can play a virtual course, just practice approach shots, closest to the pin, or there's a fishing game you can try to catch fish at each distance. It does make the practice more meaningful when you have these specific goals. I really enjoy having this feedback, vs hitting at flag markers on other driving ranges. FOOD. They have their own food (chicken strips fries etc at night) or you can order from Jolene's in the clubhouse if she's open. Overall, despite the crappy balls and mats, the staff here is EXCELLENT, the vibe fun, but be careful, I found out there are several people that lose their club heads flying into the range every day. This was my first time golfing and I'm glad I did it in Oahu. Being able to golf with a view was a treat. There's a Yelp Check-In deal for a free bucket of balls at the driving range. My group of 4 warmed up at the driving range. We can a bit before lunch so there were a good amount of vacant spots. There are two stories and range is sizeable. Afterwards, we headed for the golf course. We did all 18 holes, which took maybe 3 hours? Be sure to bring water/drinks and snacks. You can also purchase food here. This was my first time driving a golf cart so that was sick. Golfing in wonderful weather with no cares and not recording score?! Sign me up. The place itself is a bit unkempt with a bit of Universal Studios Jurassic Park ride vibe once you're in your cart driving through the deeper part of the course. Very disappointing! Quality of the balls is terrible! They don't fly nearly as accurate as regular driving range balls (probably 30 to 40 yards shorter). They charge $20 for a medium size basket (70 balls) and $6 an hour for the Tracking monitor. Olomana has way better balls, $17 for a medium basket, and the tracking monitor is free! I grew up as a kid hitting balls at Bayview so I'm kind of sad with what's happening. Oh well, I guess I'll make the additional trek to Olomana from now on. read more

Review is for the driving range. Went on an afternoon weekend in January 2025, and paid $20 for a large bucket, and said I would never come here again. February 2025, thought to give it another chance if I went before 5:00pm on a weekday for the early rate of $15 for large bucket might seem more reasonable. When I get there, I am shocked at the $5 price increase all around from the last time I came just 1 month ago, and the bucket I thought was going to be $15 was $20 instead. I left with the same feeling of never coming here again. In theory, this place is all right and should seem good, but the prices now are much too high. The balls are not good condition at all. I don't see the point of upselling this Top tracer, if the balls are so junk, they will not fly nice or accurate anyway. Unsure if the yardage markings are even accurate. And the 'bay view' sign target on the mound he middle of the field is too big, and blocks view of behind it. Unsure of the rubber tee situation or rental fee, as I brought and used my own. Pros: -Covered bays (if the sun is above). -Mats are new'ish and still in good condition. -Overall pleasant aesthetic of the place. Cons: -Too expensive. -Balls in bad condition. -Only accepts card; no cash. -Plays party type music over the speaker system. -Doesn't make sense to have Toptracer and even pay extra for it, if all the balls are junk, and the majority of people hitting are lower skill. read more

Is this the best place to learn how to play golf? I'm not sure, but this was the place that started my golf journey I was voluntold that I would be golfing in a tournament. I had a couple of weeks to mentally, physically and emotionally prepare. I called up a friend to help teach me the ropes. We reserved the private room for 2 hours. We went over the different clubs, stance, swing, etc. In high school, I played jv and varsity doubles in tennis. Luckily, I was born with a decent athletic ability and a competitive edge. During the 2 hours, I was able to pick up so much. I'm still able to hit decently straight, but my distance is a work in progress. I was also borrowing men's clubs (yes, it makes a huge difference). Come tournament day, I was ready. I was able to borrow women's clubs and doubled my driving distance. The employees were great! They walked us down to the private room and checked on us every 30 mins. When we were running low on balls, he brought another bucket for us. Bayview uses Top Tracer Range, which helps with tracking what club was used, speed, distance, etc. You're also able to play virtual rounds of golf. Bayview reminds me of local version of Top Golf. This is the ONLY GOLF COURSE island wide that holds on to your Driver's License when you golf there. The last time I golfed there I forgot my license, eventually I thought I lost it so applied for duplicate. The golf course doesn't have any signs reminding golfers to recover their licenses. I applied for the duplicate about one month after discovering it missing. One month after I got my new license I was called by the golf course telling me they have my license to pick it up. When I got there I noticed that they had at least two large stacks of drivers licenses that golfers forgot. Today, 08-12-2025, I called to make a tee time, discovered that they are still holding onto drivers license. I cancelled my reservations immediately. Their reasons for holding on to the licenses aren't warranted and will turn out to be a major inconvenience for the owners. Trust me I had to deal with it... read more

I really like this place. The views are spectacular, the people who work here are courteous and pleasant. Additionally, the green fees for golf is lowest in the area. And although I am told that historically this place was kinda beat up and not maintained well, there is lots of evidence that the people who manage the place are putting a lot of effort into making it a really "solid" golf experience. I think that it also helps that I played really well when I came here the first time (8 pars out of 18 holes is unheard of for me). It is a shorter course, so pars will come more often. I have played here 3 times now and it has always been pretty open and pace of play was good. I also seem to meet up with really nice folks every time I play there and a few of the holes have amazing backdrops of the Kaneohe bay and the Ko'olaus. read more

too bad 0 stars wasnt an option for this experience wanted to hit the range and went on a thursday night at about 7:30pm and it was super crowded, stood in line for about 20 minutes then finally got to the front and the lady working says "hold on let me clear some people off of the waiting list real quick" -okay not a problem at all- she then calls 2 parties from the waiting list and gives them their bays 2 older men walking in from the parking lot go straight up to the counter and she proceeds to crack jokes and bump them to the top of the waiting list and give them a free bucket of balls totally ignoring who was rightfully next in line just because these guys go to the range often or you know them and flirt with them doesnt mean you should throw all consideration for everyone else patiently waiting out the door. the wait time was already over an hour long and there were about 15 people in line. it's just very frustrating and aggrivating when you be kind to the worker and understanding about how busy they are and they are just so inconsiderate right in front of your face. read more

The staff was nice and the course okay but what really bothered us was the very clear list of common sense rules posted at the check in: every player needs own set of clubs, tee times limited to 4 people, closed toe shoes. Perhaps if the course followed its own rules, the flow of play would have been better....played for 5 hours and was still sitting waiting to tee off at 18. gave up, didn't finish the round and left to get something to eat. On one occasion I left my license at the course and was contacted several months later to pick it up and because I did not recall leaving my license I was unable to locate it when needed for a notary appointment and had to go to the DMV to get a replacement. The procedure could be improved by ensuring that licenses are promptly returned to golfers during their visit. When I got to the golf course to retrieve my license the staff had to sort through a LARGE number of IDs that were stored in a drawer, indicating that many other individuals had also left their identification cards behind. This practice inconveniences golfers who must spend additional time recovering or replacing their licenses. I plan to consult state and federal authorities regarding the legality of retaining customers, identification as part of the check-in policy. This is an avenue for identity theft. read more

Driving Range Review I'm returning to golf after 15-20 years and wanted to know how far my clubs go. Checked out Bayview with the Toptracer monitors. Cost on Saturday night was $20 for a large bucket and $5 (per hour) if you want to use the Toptracer monitors to show you your stats. It was a fun night and more importantly I found out I don't hit the clubs nearly as far as I thought I did. Wait was about 30 minutes. Lots of family's there enjoying time together as well as serious golfers working on their game. Based on lots of the reviews I was expecting the worse but it was pretty good and enjoyed it. The balls were okay. A mix of balls from range balls to found balls. I didn't have really bad ones...but I did have a terrible mat. The other mats seemed fine. No cash accepted to have you credit card ready. Nice selection of drinks and snacks. Little pricey but if you go once in awhile I think it's fine. I mainly wanted to use the Toptracer. Enjoyed this driving range, although I'm not much of a golfer, I don't mind hitting some balls. My bf is big on golf so I enjoyed watching him. My coworkers and I were talking about top golf in LV and although I haven't been there, they recommended this place! My bf and I decided to check it out and it's pretty cool. Came on a weekend and it wasn't busy at all. We where a little confused when finding the entrance of the driving range but the workers are really nice and pointed us in the right direction. They gave us row 12 & 13 or something like that but I knew I wasn't going to hit allllll those golf balls so we just shared one area. Can I just say the tracking is pretty amazing! You can even switch clubs and it'll change color to track that. It shows you your distance and all the logistics of that hit. Here is a little pricier but you get what you pay for. I think it was $20 for a bucket of balls. The music was great, I enjoyed the ambiance. Also, I was scared to eat and we brought a ton of snacks but they didn't say anything so I'm assuming you can bring outside food and drinks because I ate and drank there lol. Not sure about alcohol but I had juice :) Parking - there's a ton of parking in the lot! Free parking. 10/10 would recommend! Would definitely come back here! read more

Just to advise, this review is strictly just for the driving range. I didn't find a search for the driving range alone. However, pls correct me if there is one! I was totally surprised to come here since the putt putt golf days they have connected was my last memory in this area. For the Fri is a ground level and second level which gives off the Top Golf feel. You get one bucket of 100 golf balls to hit for $15. It's cool bc the range has a radar for each lane along with a screen to tell your skills on how good or bad it is. Haha but there are flags on the screen as if you were doing a course. It's pretty awesome since the screen will give you info on how far, fast and amount of how much ball was in air and then ground distance. It's like the screen you would see at a Roger Dunn's golf shop. Beer and food is also for sale...we got a Big Wave pitcher for about $25 which is similar or higher than tourist price you pay in Waikiki but the good thing is the beer was not watered down. A con about this driving range is that they have signs which say "no drivers allowed." However, not everyone listens. You see all the locals jamming with their $500 drivers here. So it's nice since there wasn't any policing of the policy. Although, if you're a by-the-book kind of person, this is the best place to utilize your irons. I believe the rule for no drivers is due to the fact the farthest distance on ground is 200 feet. I did have an issue with the size which felt smaller for the turf mat for our lane. Other than that, this was fun and they are open late til 11 PM on a Saturday night. So if you have your own clubs then give this place a go. They also for a chill playlist going on. read more

If you ever have a tournament at Bayview Golf Course. Check if your doubled book. I called 2 weeks prior on my booking. They informed me that the tee time was doubled book. They informed me of a double booking. Forget about getting a response from the manager. Called Monday thru Friday and the staff left the message on her desk. (Of course shes off on the weekend) I told her i had golfers coming for this tournament from the neighbor islands. I waited a week on the status from the manager. No response! Finally I had to go down and speak to her myself. The end result we had only 1 hour and 15 minutes to play 9 holes. read more

Driving range review only! Came in last weekend on a Sunday morning. Wanted to change up the weekend activities. Saw that Bayview used TopGolf tech (and we really enjoy TopGolf on the mainland) so decided to try it out. I called a few days ago during the week to figure out details and pricing. I asked why this information wasn't on the website or anything, and I believe the person I talked to said something along the lines of being in some agreement in being purchased out or something (not sure). Renting clubs cost $10 (includes the tee), and ball costs range below: Small (45?) = $6 Medium (60?) = $8 Large (100) = $10 Yelp hack!!! Check in and get a free small bucket! They have a pretty decent sized parking lot. It shares with mini putt, driving range, and the golf course. We were able to grab one of the 5-10 spots still available. No line getting the equipment. The person working was helpful. You get a QR code to fill up the balls. You can pick up an available spot. Same top golf tech, but for a lot cheaper! I am no golfer, but it was definitely fun! They say no drivers, but it seemed like majority of people were using it, so I hit a few also. We started with the small bucket, but that went by pretty fast, so I ended up getting another large one! Be careful the tee will occasionally fly out if you hit it incorrectly. We saw other parties bring food and eat on the side, so this is definitely a good place to have an event! They also have private rooms that you can book for an hour which definitely seems like a fun day! All in all, what a fun spot that doesn't break the bank too much. This was my first time ever doing a Golf Course and I had a great time. This location is honestly very scenic especially with the Ko'olaus in the background. 6 of us came here to just golf and have a good time. It cost about $30 per person and you also get a golf cart to go around the course or you can choose to walk the whole course if you'd like. You are also free to bring your own cooler and food as it is a long course. You also wait for the people before you to finish each hole. Since we had a large group we let most groups that caught up to us pass. We started the course around 11:30AM and finished up around 5:00PM. It was a great time. You must bring your own golf clubs but they do sell golf balls. We also picked up golf balls along the way since you do lose them here and there. Overall it was a great experience. I like coming here when: not too crowded-so forget holiday weekends. Today was great--cool-easterly winds at 10-15mph-threat of showers kept most away when we started out at 9am as a foursome. The greens have greatly improved from 5 years ago. They have been cutting down alot of trees the past couple years which I have mixed feelings about--the shower trees on the first long drive hole looks bare and boring now. You can call in your order as you tee off for the 9th and speed up your pit stop at the turn. Signature picturesque hole is no. 14 and plays long but satisfying to par. This is a review for the driving range. It's two nicely covered and doesn't face the sun, so you have no excuse fore missing the ball (see what I did there?). After parking your car (watch out, the stalls seem super narrow), you head over to the mauka second level to grab a basket. It used to be you left your id, but now you just grab a basket. The last few times I went, the ball dispenser was broken so someone had to physically fill the basket. So while you're getting the basket, you let them know what size bucket of balls you want. Prices vary during the time of day. Once you have your basket of balls you can hit away at your assigned bay. You can use the Toptracer monitor thing. It's actually pretty neat because you can pretend you're playing a game or hit the targets it calls for. I'm not a good golfer, I just need to practice getting my ball up, so I don't use it. But I can see how fun it is to do and I have used it with friends when they go with me. The workers seem pretty nice and I like that you can get food and drinks to your bay. read more

We had such a good time here wow. We had the twilight deal or something like that so 18 holes was only $22! With a cart! Such a steal for a great course. The guy in the booth was super friendly and the last hole he helped us identify where the hole on the green was as he took it out. Beautiful course. Back 9 is much prettier and scenic. And probably better groomed. The front nine has a bunch of debris all over it. I was surprised it was a par 3 and 4 course but wasn't complaining. This review is for the range only: I can't believe the price for a bucket of balls. $20 is ridiculous, you can go to any other course and hit the same amount of balls for $14. Not to mention all the balls are super scuffed and cracked, and the matts are all warped and lumpy. Im not saying the balls have to be pro v1's but you can go to Kapolei, hit nice range balls and also hit off grass. They have been making good money, idk why it isnt reflected in the facility at all. The logic before was that you were paying to use the top tracer tech (that wouldn't read half the time), so it was kind of justified, as if you were paying $15 for a large bucket and $5 for the tracer. Now you have to pay an extra $5 on top of the $20 bucket. This sucks because they are basically the only range on the windward side open past 6. It makes it hard to practice your game on this side of the island. I hope they either drop the prices or up the quality because this seems super greedy. read more

This is about the driving range specifically. I believe it's the only 2-floor driving range on Oahu, and the only one that has the TopTracer tech. The TopTracer tech definitely isnt 100% accurate, but gives a good enough view that should be usable/useful by anyone except maybe a PGA pro. If you're a casual golfer, or just beginning to pick up the game, it's a great place to start. The only thing would be to watch out for people topping their balls from the 2nd floor and it dropping down thru the net onto the level below. Pricing on the buckets seems to change based on time/day. Their ball dispenser looks like it can be hooked up to an app, I have yet to check out if they allow that there, since it would be much easier/faster than going up to the window to purchase a new bucket once you have your stall assigned. A reason to deduct some points though would be their mats and some of the range balls. The mats were heavily gouged/channeled, and it was super clear to see where everyone hits. So much so that you can drop the ball, and it would immediately rest in the same spot on the mat every time. Definitely makes it hard to not dig into the mat a little bit when you need to hit. Some of the range balls should definitely be retired; either smooth as a bald man, or cracked/chipped. Some even seemed to be so bad that you could hear them flying thru the air when people hit it because the little cracks or pieces caught the wind and made noise. Other than that, decent range, and the TopTracer games make it pretty fun to play. read more
