Great place to cool and and have some fun. It's a fun, short course in the AC. We had the place to ourselves when we went. Friendly staff. Killed 20 minutes while we waited for a restaurant to open.

Awesome vibe. Fun mini golf course. Great time. My wife and I played a round and admired the cool art work throughout the course.

Bay View strikes an impressive balance between the two. The ball-tracking technology is excellent, the bays are well maintained, and whether you're dialing in wedges, working on dispersion, or just enjoying a casual round with friends, everything works exactly as it should. I've been to Topgolf locations across the mainland, and honestly, Bay View gives them real competition. In some ways, I'd argue it's even better. Instead of staring at parking lots or city skylines, you're hitting balls surrounded by lush tropical scenery with Hawaiian trade winds and mountain views. It's an experience you simply can't recreate on the mainland. The food, drinks, and service all complemented the atmosphere, making it easy to spend several hours here without ever feeling rushed. Whether you're a scratch golfer looking to fine-tune your game or someone just swinging a club for the first time, Bay View has created something special. It's proof that Hawaiʻi can take a great concept and elevate it with a setting no one else can match.

I think that can be very helpful practice tool, considering I previously had to estimate my distances with my own eyes in the past; now, nothing is up to interpretation and you'll know exactly how your shots went. Its $20/bucket, with 2 levels of covered driving range areas. Overall, been here twice and I liked practicing here. Highly recommend!

Located inside of a Bowling Alley, Aiea Bowl also has a restaurant that was featured on Diners, Dine ins, and Drives. I'm hesitant with any recommendation from DDD because the others I've tried haven't been great BUT Aiea Bowl's food did not disappoint. I went with combo that came with their fried chicken and loco moco. While the burger patty could've used more seasoning, the portion size was massive and the gravy was hella good. The fried chicken though, easily the star of the show. So damn good. My partner got the oxtail soup, which was alright. To end the meal we got one of their crunch cake, and I wasn't even hungry but we crushed this. Safe to say we enjoyed it. The service here was great. I think the prices match the portions here. It's definitely a place I would never leave hungry lol. Would I eat here again? Definitely!

Shoes were included in the cost. The shoes were newer and clean. The computer screen at your lane to set up your bowlers was really easy to navigate. Not complicated like back in the day. You're able to request the bumpers on the computer screen when setting up your bowlers. There's also ramps for the ball that kids can use, usually located in the corner off to the side. Bathroom is a little outdated but fairly clean. Restaurant inside the bowling alley.

You can tell the place is a bit dated; but they have done a good job of refurbing it. We were upgraded a notch for being Lifetime Diamond, which was a nice start. As an aside, I was fine with paying the $93 a day for valet parking; noting it's pretty tightly packed in there, so to me it was worth it versus the $70-some regular parking fee. All hotel personnel were very polite, helpful, and fast at their jobs. Beach is maybe 150 yards away; pool(s) are in-between. The pool bar was happening and they served drinks strong. The Tapa Bar was nice as well. Be prepared for somewhat high prices; but this is Waikiki so I get it. Two downsides, neither of which was all that bad. The AC in the front room went out about half-way through our stay; noting the unit in the bedroom did a passable job of keeping the whole place somewhat cool. I will say we returned to the room at Tuesday around 3pm or so. The room had a pretty bad odor of sewer gas. We opened the windows; and filled all sinks and the bath-tub with water, with the drain closed, and then flushed the two toilets for good measure. The room cleared out within 20 minutes and while we left the sinks and bathtub full until the next AM (which might have done the trick).... Well, all I can say is we remedied the situation on our own. The next party to stay in that room might scream Bloody Murder.

The morning line moved steadily as the snack shop dished out coffee drinks and breakfast food items like a well oiled machine. Dexter at the front desk was amazing and professional so that wins some stars. We managed to attend the free lei making class with Kumu Richard and he was incredibly kind and knowledgeable on the history of leis. The hotel is right near the beach so location wise, you're in a good spot. There's a Target a few streets down and plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The free mini golf at the pool was a nice activity too. Other than that, the rooms are overpriced and little amenities to make the resort fee make sense. I stayed for 1 night as my getting ready room for my wedding day so there wasn't any time to rent something for the beach or utilize something for the resort fee. Post-wedding when we moved my luggage to his room, I noticed the closet was in the bathroom so that was an interesting choice (not all rooms are like that - my evening room to get ready had the closet near the door which was more accessible/made sense). Rooms felt damp and humid due to no ventilation. Bed was extremely hot - like wake up in night sweats from how little circulation there was despite having the AC on the lower end to compensate for the mugginess. I know we are in a tropical climate so humidity is expected, but to not have a vent in the bathroom may not be the best idea. Hilton's Instagram advertised incentives for couples, weddings, anniversaries but that is not true. We emailed the general manager back in May about our wedding and no response or acknowledgments. Room service food they don't include everything so before they walk away, make sure to check the bag. This was my first time ordering with room service in a hotel because I'm on team getting something myself or bringing it up to my room. However, I specifically ordered so I wouldn't have to leave my room for the moment in between wedding ceremony and reception and thought to give convenience a try. To call the front desk for the missing items twice only to have to go down myself after waiting 15 minutes from no response didn't make me feel like a valued hotel guest. When I type this out it sounds like first world problems but seeing how hotels typically pride themselves in customer service this wasn't the case. Conveniently when I went back to my room, the digital key stopped working. When maintenance looked at the battery on the door, the battery was still functioning so I learned it's best to keep your physical key on-hand and not rely on the Hilton app. Reading other reviews on Yelp and Google I'm noticing the consistency in disappointment for stays at Hilton Waikīkī Beach Resort & Spa. If you decide to stay, know there may be a few disappointments for the price you're paying and that the beds are lumpy and hot. Best to focus your energy on the beautiful sunrises / sunsets, swims at the beach, venture around the island, support the local food scene, play in the sand, enjoy the scenic views when visiting other parts of O'ahu.
