The space is small but has a lot of holes to pass through. Yes, it was busy and we had to wait for every hole in front of us to be free but that was expected based on it being a rainy day and we could clearly see when we started how many people were there so we knew what we were in for. Even so, the kids still had fun and everyone gets a prize at the end too (in our case it was a light up ring)! The place was clean and seems to be up-kept. We'd been previously when it wasn't as busy also had a great experience. Highly recommend for all ages.

Aside from that, we had a great time and played pretty well. The overall vibe was relaxed, and it still felt like a fun experience rather than overly stressful. We also ordered food and drinks -- got the club sandwich with fries, and for golf course food it was actually really good and filling. Drinks were solid too. I didn't use this service but my friend did, and I spoke with the proshop and learned more about it after he had an issue and I had to rebook for us. The proshop folks are very nice, both over the phone and in person. The clubhouse has quite a bit of clothing, hats, golf balls, and accessories to buy if you need anything. Only one visor option if you like visors, which I do so I was glad I had mine for the day! The restaurant was open and serving food early, which was nice. Some courses don't. The full bar was also pouring drinks to go for your carts! It was nice to take a Bloody Mary to kick off our tee time. They typically have cart beverage and snack service available too. We played a full 18 holes and it was not crowded. The greens played well. The fairways were a little dry in some areas but Hawaii Kai can get pretty dry so that is expected. Ayce breakfast package. Breakfast is nothing great. Every single day it's just rice, sausage, scrambled eggs, potatoes, oatmeal, miso soup, bagel/ toast, yogurt and fruits and sometimes bacon (once a week). Fruits are always the same. Pineapple and melons. Got real sick of the same stuff everyday. But if you ordered food off the menu, it's pretty good. We did order breakfast once. We also did order room service and food came up pretty fast. Some issues we had: After checking in and unpacking we were leaving and checked our door to ensure it's locked and realized it doesn't lock. So we had maintenance come and fix the door. The next day it happened again not sure what happened but again it didn't lock. Maintenance came by and took a look and they fixed it while we were gone. A bit inconvenience. Mini fridge in the room is terrible. Very small and it doesn't stay cold for very long. There's a button that says you can turn it on cold for two hours and another button that says snooze for 24 hours. So your drinks barely get cold or your food like poke will most likely go bad. Pool and hot tub are always nice and clean. Has a little mini golf area. It is usually windy since it's on the 10th floor. The house keeper lady that cleaned our room on the 32nd floor was super nice. I used the laundry room once and it had 4 washers and 4 dryer. Nice and spacious enough. Definitely not busy at all.

As for the hotel itself, the rooms are pretty small, and the pool water looked kinda dirty/cloudy while we were there, which was disappointing. Parking is really pricey, but that's just the normal standard for this area. Great location and nice free perks like the beach chairs, but the rooms and pool area could definitely be improved.
