Haul of plushies I won using $100 worth of tokens (excluding the big trade-in plushie that's on top).
    Alyssa G.

First off, what an amazing way to have a grand opening that includes bundles featuring FREE labubus, stickers, and a claw keychain! If you know me, I'm an absolute claw machine addict. As of September 2025, I would personally say this is the best claw machine-centered place that's the best bang for your buck. A majority of the machines only require 1 token per play. Similar claw machine places usually require 2 tokens so it was surprising to see it was "cheaper" here. The claw machines here seem to have a better grip on plushies than other places I've been to. In my experience, the medium-sized plushies are way easier to grab compared to the small plushie keychains. It feels like the smaller claw machines don't have much of a grip. I encourage you to bring friends, family, and especially little kids here. There were a few little kids that were there at the same time as me amd they were also able to easily win plushies for themselves! They also have a good selection of authentic Labubus for sale, and a nice variety of trade-in plushies. Basically, you can trade in a certain amount of plushies you win to pick out a much bigger plushie of your choice (if you want!). I already have lots of medium-sized plushies so it was awesome to get a big bunny plushie.

Claw shops are everywhere now! It's the new trendy thing. We came here after lunch next door and decided to play a little. We got $20 in tokens. Most machines are 1 token each, which is great. There are a couple that are 3 or 5 tokens. They also have gachapon type machines that are 10 tokens. My daughter played most of the time and won one panda keychain. The crane seemed to grab it, lift it, and then let it go. We couldn't won multiple times, but the crane just opened and dropped it once it reached the top. The plushies are cute, but not a whole lot of character type ones like other places. The shop itself is really warm due to all the machines. We only stayed for maybe 10 minutes and then ran out of tokens. The only plus side is that each game is one token, so you get to play more. Hopefully they fix the crane to make it more appealing.

Mid day hours. Good for school breaks. Smaller than I imagined but I guess you don't need a lot of space. Friendly. Not too expensive. Kind of standard for the machines they have.

Located on the street side closer to Coco Curry. Service is great, staff are able to adjust the prizes for a easier win. You just have to tell them how. Which is not easy. Its easier to grab from the body or the strap. Their is a variety from buying the authentics behind the counter or buying tokens to play to win on some not so authentic looking plushies. Which is fine since some of toys were going to the dog. We're just happy there's some pet friendly toys for them. Gachapons, claw plushies, timed games; the pricing for the claw machine were all but three claw machines are 1 token. The Pikachu and Pichu are 3 token and the Labubu are 5 tokens. Most likely will change as times goes on. Gachapons vary in amount of tokens. Go for the $100 for 110 tokens if you can. Its the best return on you money since it came with a authentic Labubu, till supplies last. They even gave a complimentary (a white or black) Labubu shirt with their logo. Great for dates, group outings, and family fun.

I had a great time here! The prizes in the machine were not so difficult to pull compared to other claw machines. You are also able to trade in the prizes you pull for a nicer one at the desk. I spent $100 on tokens to grind enough plushes to trade them in for a cute kimono miffy at the front desk for my girlfriend. It was a fun experience.

Food was also soft/juicy. Tried everything from the 3 Meat Plate (brisket, sausage [weekends only], pulled pork, with mac & cheese/rice), loaded tots with pulled pork, the brisket chili, pulled pork sliders, shave ice. If there is anything you should try, I really liked the BRISKET, SAUSAGE (weekends only), the BRISKET CHILI, SHAVE ICE. Its worth mentioning the loaded tots were all crispy and delicious down to the last bite. The meat/food taste was just right with the amount of flavoring, spice, and texture. To level/change up the taste, you can also use the delicious sauces and if you had to pick any, pick the Honey Mustard one & Spicy (which was barely spicy). The shave ice is really good too because the ice is soft like biting into a cold cloud. The flavors are limited but you still find at least 2 good flavors (all you really need). Cashier was very nice with typical take our service. I tried other highly rated BBQ places in town which I found food to be over seasoned/salty or too spicy. This place is just right for everything. Food area is in tropics mini golf and you can get food without playing any golf. If you on the sidewalk passing it, you can smell the cooking. A hidden gem in Aiea for food and/or dessert. If I am craving BBQ or dessert and nearby I will definitely be stopping by again.

Located at 4510 Salt Lake Blvd, in Stadium Mall shopping center which is Diamond Head of Aloha Stadium. It has plenty of free parking. Hours vary depending on the day due to ice hockey team practices, their games and skating lessons. Sometimes rink is closed for a week to two weeks for maintenance so be sure to check website first. Saturday hours are 10:00 am - 4:00 pm then close down and reopen at 5:00ish for the evening customers. Ticket prices are reasonable at $18 for all ages and include the skates. Must bring own socks. If you are not skating and merely a chaperone for young keiki, I didn't get charged. No outside food or flasks allowed. We were there Saturday morning and staff handing out the skates were quick and efficient so it went fast. You just tell them your size shoe and they're back in a flash with the skates. Enough tables and stools to sit down to put on skates. There's also aluminum bleachers on one side for onlookers. But bleachers are cold on your okole so maybe sit on your sweater? A fun live deejay keeps the music going entire time with jokes and other information. Kids and adults enjoy a cordoned off area with "walkers" to hold onto and push yourself around a small area to get the hang of it. Venturing out to the open larger part of rink you can clutch onto rails as you walk around or practice your spins in the middle of rink. There are two staff skate patrollers to enforce rules for the safety of others and they are very good about it and kind. Things like not holding hands in large groups - only a couple are allowed - no holding phones in hands to take pictures while on ice, no carrying of children on the ice, no jumping or racing allowed. Toward end of morning session the deejay turned off majority of lights and disco ball lit up to make it fun! How the kids screamed with glee when this happened. Then they do a limbo contest and the kids line up trying their best to skate under a stick as it gets lower and lower. No prizes given just the fun of participating! Onto the concession. Very nice staff working this area. Standard food like nachos, saimin, pizza and bottled water, hot chocolate available. Not real pricey and it's good to take a break then back to the ice. I noticed many kids not wearing warm items- shorts and tshirts - but evidently all the skating around gets them hot so they don't feel the cold at all. Onlookers beware it's like 40 degrees inside so I dressed warmly. A Pro Shop is available for gloves, hats, skates and other paraphernalia. Lose one star due to employee who wasn't very nice when I bought gloves for granddaughter but didn't fit her so went back right away to exchange and she wouldn't let me. Tersely said "no returns!" It's not like we wore them all day then tried to return. Just wanted to exchange within a couple of minutes of buying for larger pair. That being said I didn't argue, just paid the $6 for another pair. Bathrooms were roomy and clean with padded floors so you could walk in with skates on. Oh and one last thing, if you leave the rink they won't let you come back in without paying. You'll have to buy another ticket. This is to prevent people from buying cheaper or other food outside then returning. They want to keep their concession open so it makes total business sense. Grandparents enjoy babysitting because kids are on ice entire time and you can just watch them with a nice cup of hot chocolate! When the deejay announces they are closing up, there's a mad dash to return skates but all you have to do is plop them down on the counter- no need sign anything or check out with staff. Easy peasy!

We've had so many fun memories here with my two little boys. The best thing about Chuck E Cheese is how reasonable the game play is. For $20 bucks, you can play for close to an hour, especially if just one kid is playing. We've been coming here since my 4 year old was just a baby. We celebrated his 3rd birthday here! And this was one of our first family outings when my new baby who is now 1 was born. We love the staff here. They are friendly, helpful, and made my sons' visits each time special. On my oldest son's birthday, they had Chuck E come out and sing to him and brought him a slice of cake. It was so special! The games are fun and the space is clean. It's on the older side, but everything is well cared for. The food is a little pricy and not much to write home about, but we've eaten here more than once. The wings and fries are our favorite. My family had a great time here, watching the kids having fun, and also I enjoyed playing some of the arcade games myself too. The climbing gym here was much smaller than the kalihi location, actually overall it's just a smaller place, but it's not as chaotic and I feel like it's cleaner too. As for the food, I don't care for their chicken tenders / nuggets, but I thoroughly enjoyed their bbq chicken, meat and ranch pizzas! Their crust had a really good garlic flavor. The last time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese was a year ago, and I had been thinking about their pizzas. A year later they still tasted delicious! Shout out to the staff too because they're all friendly and helpful. One game didn't work after tapping my card, and the staff went to give us a free game. If you decide to come back on your own, make sure you keep the play card. It costs money to get a new card. Their pricing for parties is not unreasonable. I'd consider this as a spot for kids party!
