After spending $50 she came out on top with one win
    Moneca H.

My daughter finished school and started summer break so decided to take her somewhere. Kids really love claw machines so she's been wanting to go claw mania in Pearl Kai shopping center. The place is lite up with bright lights very enticing from the outside . When you walk in it's beautifully lite bright colors . The two girls up front clearly explains with high energy how it works . Each game is either a $1 , $3 , or $5 a shot so entertainment wise quite pricey. I bought my daughter a $50 package she was very excited. As we started to play she remained excited I started to feel discouraged as I continued to watch her grab dolls getting her excited for a win and as they reach the top before even moving to the drooping area the doll drops. I watch her grab dolls and watch it drop with ease claw having a very loose grip at least 15 times . It was making me feel kind of upset . My daughter was still excited as she is only 6 years old . She managed to get one doll thank god I didn't wanna walk out there empty handed but it was just because it had a rope attached to it . The doll dropped from the claw again but because the rope caught on the claw it was technically a win . So I asked the lady to open the door case so she could get her win . I have a video on here that shows how loose the claws are . I'm sure there is a technique. If you get so many you can trade in for other dolls . Only reason I give this place a 3 is just the value . We spent the $50 in less then 10 mins and it was killing me watching people all around me lose there money so fast . Kind of like a kid slot machine. If you like claw machines. Dave n busters might be a better deal more wins and money last longer . I couldn't run a business getting excited and watching kids spend so much money knowing the machines are very loose but that's just me . This place is definitely making $$ I saw people dropping $50, $100 lasting them 15-20 mins max . Definitely a money making business. Other than that though place was nice and clean , staff very upbeat and smiling music was good just wish I hadn't left the way I felt . Main thing was the kids don't feel that way but probably cause it's not their money . She enjoyed it . I would stay longer if my money didn't go so quick . Just felt I could've had more value taking her somewhere else .

Grab the cuteness... If you find yourself at Pearl Kai Shopping Center a new brightness is here and gosh what a nice addition to pick up some cuties. Located right at the entrance you will certainly miss it as they don't have a sign yet but you can find them right between Eciggity and Curry House. As I entered the bright and vibrant shop all you see are a bunch of claw machines filled with various cute plushies all characters that we know and love making it so hard to resist the need to capture them. Playing the games are by using their coins and currently with their grand opening with $100 in coins purchase you get a Labubu and some freebies as well so you know I had to give them a try and no I'm not that great at it but it's just so satisfying. After watching many clawing their way I gave it a try and did manage to nab a few as well which I'm so happy and you're also able to trade in your cuties to a bigger prize as well but I'm delighted with mine and was very far from having enough anyways. The staff there is so nice and friendly though the shop is quite small I couldn't see myself staying in there for very long but left very happy and had fun. Thank you!

Haul of plushies I won using $100 worth of tokens (excluding the big trade-in plushie that's on top).

First off, what an amazing way to have a grand opening that includes bundles featuring FREE labubus, stickers, and a claw keychain! If you know me, I'm an absolute claw machine addict. As of September 2025, I would personally say this is the best claw machine-centered place that's the best bang for your buck. A majority of the machines only require 1 token per play. Similar claw machine places usually require 2 tokens so it was surprising to see it was "cheaper" here. The claw machines here seem to have a better grip on plushies than other places I've been to. In my experience, the medium-sized plushies are way easier to grab compared to the small plushie keychains. It feels like the smaller claw machines don't have much of a grip. I encourage you to bring friends, family, and especially little kids here. There were a few little kids that were there at the same time as me amd they were also able to easily win plushies for themselves! They also have a good selection of authentic Labubus for sale, and a nice variety of trade-in plushies. Basically, you can trade in a certain amount of plushies you win to pick out a much bigger plushie of your choice (if you want!). I already have lots of medium-sized plushies so it was awesome to get a big bunny plushie.

Claw shops are everywhere now! It's the new trendy thing. We came here after lunch next door and decided to play a little. We got $20 in tokens. Most machines are 1 token each, which is great. There are a couple that are 3 or 5 tokens. They also have gachapon type machines that are 10 tokens. My daughter played most of the time and won one panda keychain. The crane seemed to grab it, lift it, and then let it go. We couldn't won multiple times, but the crane just opened and dropped it once it reached the top. The plushies are cute, but not a whole lot of character type ones like other places. The shop itself is really warm due to all the machines. We only stayed for maybe 10 minutes and then ran out of tokens. The only plus side is that each game is one token, so you get to play more. Hopefully they fix the crane to make it more appealing.

Mid day hours. Good for school breaks. Smaller than I imagined but I guess you don't need a lot of space. Friendly. Not too expensive. Kind of standard for the machines they have.

Located on the street side closer to Coco Curry. Service is great, staff are able to adjust the prizes for a easier win. You just have to tell them how. Which is not easy. Its easier to grab from the body or the strap. Their is a variety from buying the authentics behind the counter or buying tokens to play to win on some not so authentic looking plushies. Which is fine since some of toys were going to the dog. We're just happy there's some pet friendly toys for them. Gachapons, claw plushies, timed games; the pricing for the claw machine were all but three claw machines are 1 token. The Pikachu and Pichu are 3 token and the Labubu are 5 tokens. Most likely will change as times goes on. Gachapons vary in amount of tokens. Go for the $100 for 110 tokens if you can. Its the best return on you money since it came with a authentic Labubu, till supplies last. They even gave a complimentary (a white or black) Labubu shirt with their logo. Great for dates, group outings, and family fun.

I had a great time here! The prizes in the machine were not so difficult to pull compared to other claw machines. You are also able to trade in the prizes you pull for a nicer one at the desk. I spent $100 on tokens to grind enough plushes to trade them in for a cute kimono miffy at the front desk for my girlfriend. It was a fun experience.

We've had so many fun memories here with my two little boys. The best thing about Chuck E Cheese is how reasonable the game play is. For $20 bucks, you can play for close to an hour, especially if just one kid is playing. We've been coming here since my 4 year old was just a baby. We celebrated his 3rd birthday here! And this was one of our first family outings when my new baby who is now 1 was born. We love the staff here. They are friendly, helpful, and made my sons' visits each time special. On my oldest son's birthday, they had Chuck E come out and sing to him and brought him a slice of cake. It was so special! The games are fun and the space is clean. It's on the older side, but everything is well cared for. The food is a little pricy and not much to write home about, but we've eaten here more than once. The wings and fries are our favorite. Overall, we are SO sad to see it go. We hope to visit the other locations, but Pearl City holds a place in our hearts!

My family had a great time here, watching the kids having fun, and also I enjoyed playing some of the arcade games myself too. They had a zombie shooting game and the Mario kart that were both really engaging. I also liked the skeeball and any shooting games as well. The climbing gym here was much smaller than the kalihi location, actually overall it's just a smaller place, but it's not as chaotic and I feel like it's cleaner too. As for the food, I don't care for their chicken tenders / nuggets, but I thoroughly enjoyed their bbq chicken, meat and ranch pizzas! Their crust had a really good garlic flavor. The last time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese was a year ago, and I had been thinking about their pizzas. A year later they still tasted delicious! Shout out to the staff too because they're all friendly and helpful. One game didn't work after tapping my card, and the staff went to give us a free game. If you decide to come back on your own, make sure you keep the play card. It costs money to get a new card. Their pricing for parties is not unreasonable. I'd consider this as a spot for kids party!

Compared to long time ago there's less rides and game booths. The pre-paid cards is also good for games and food booths . They do not except any cash at the game booths anymore. It was a new experience for me but I guess it's easier that way plus more efficient. It was very hot on a Sunday afternoon but my grand nephew had fun that's the main thing . We also had pizza and cotton candy to bring home . I guess due to Covid19 it's hard to maintain workers so EK Fernandez have to go on a smaller scale carnival. It was smaller than I could remember way back when . Support local so they can still be in business

This was the third time we tried to visit, and every single time there has been an excuse why my kids couldn't play. We've been told it's full, that there aren't enough kids, or that they could only play for 30 minutes. This time, I called ahead to make sure there was space before driving over. The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.
