Had a GREAT TIME tonight! We spent the evening @ tilt for the baby's 3rd bday. We were able to make a lot of tickets tonight. He had a blast too! They ALL did, including dad & I. This is always a great way to 1) spend some money on the birthday child! Because everyone gets to get in on the play time. 2) Bonding moment for everyone. Especially the siblings. & 3) As fun as they have playing games, it's always better when you can take home prizes too. My son and his friends were playing in Tilt. He was putting his backpack down on the ground while he was playing. A female worker kept following the group and watching them. When my son wasn't looking, she walked passed the game they were paying and grabbed his backpack and walked to the counter. When my son confronted her she said the bag was attended so she grabbed it, when in fact it was right next to the game he was playing. Then her and another worker proceeding to interrogate him about what was in his bag and told him to open it. YOU LUCKY HE DIDN'T CALL ME! He said the whole situation made him feel uncomfortable. Because WHY YOU FOLLOWING MY CHILD AND WHY YOU TAKING THINGS THAT IS NOT YOURS!? WHAT THE HELL ARE THEY GOING TO STEAL FROM TILT??? Can kids just go and play in peace!? I live in town, so I don't come to Pearlridge often. However, when I do I stop by Tilt from time to time. I love to play games. This place is kind of small, but they have great games. As with all game places, it can get kind of pricey. I love giving arcades all my coins, lol. My favorite games are the coins push ones. They have about three of them here. Some of the other games that I like to play are Super Spin and Skee Ball. They even have the Water Game like at the carnivals. read more

Small arcade tucked away in Uptown Pearlridge at the back of the food court. You can access the arcade from the parking lot coming in through a door on the side also. There's not much and is more geared toward younger kids but it passes the time and the prizes are not bad either. Tons of old school games, coin games, racing and giant claw games with huge prizes. My favorite games are down the clown and skeeze ball. It's was pretty empty when we went to visit and were just walking through but I shot some photos to post for Yelp. They have a token machine to exchange your dollars near the prize counter and restrooms are in the food court leaving Tilt. read more

I mean, it's not bad. Not great, but not bad. Has about 20 or so games, but the most popular ones can be pretty expensive (couple dollars for one quick round). Kids will surely love it but it can be a money pit for sure. read more

My daughter and hubby are gamers lol! They love to go places like this where they have games. They truly enjoyed playing games here playing the crane machines. Cost money to play but if you have a card, you can load it with money by swiping it through the machine kiosk. The inside was fairly small which you can only fit so many people inside. There was only one guy working the counter. Kind of a negative when there's a line of people behind you. I didn't want to stay too long as it was getting crowded inside. A definite plus when you have kids. Bring them here! A place for fun with the family. read more

This NEW TILT in (lower) Pearl Ridge located across Jeans warehouse, next to Expressions. I think there was A Sanrio there before. The upgraded Arcade games are awesome, though a bit pricey but WORTH IT. Just seeing how my 3 year old grandson enjoy himself and dance to the music of the animated interaction games like Mario's haunted Mansion makes it worth every penny. The tickets earned from those games can be used towards prizes. They still need to improve that part, but they have these little Fidgets (60 tickets) that are perfect for little fingers and my Grandson loves it, he's always playing with it. Rude employee made us leave the store. When people play Pump It Up, there are sometimes people waiting to take turns. That's normal for a popular game. If we're waiting for our turn, we'll either stand on the side, sit, or play something else temporarily and come back. Well, some of us decided to play air hockey while we waited, and your employee made fun of my friend when his puck fell on the ground. Then she came over to us who were sitting and waiting for our turn and told us "if you're not playing, I'm going to have to ask you to leave." Wow. Okay. So we left. And I don't want to come back as long as that employee works there. If your first reaction to a place being crowded is to just tell people to leave, then I hope you enjoy your store being empty. There are plenty of better ways to communicate that you'd like us to sit somewhere else or even just try harder to stand, but if you're going to belittle us while we play other games or tell us we're not welcome, then the conversation is over. At least Jungle Fun bought more benches for their customers when they felt like there were too many of us. Sheesh. We'll never bother you again. read more

TILT---MRC=3% Does anyone still remember what TILT was? Them pinball machines right? When you rock the pinball machine hard enough to cheat the ball into rolling a certain way? At least thats the way I remember, ironically, theres no pinball machines here or any game where the exploiting concept is simulated, however, there are other things that ARE being tilted lol. The whole convert real money into fake money is nothing like the old arcades and the fun doesn't last as long as back in the day either. Instead its easy to blow through your digital currency when you actually think about how much each game or "attempt" to win at some of these games is. Set a limit and be done with it or burn a hole in your wallet in a few minutes, your choice! So there's 2 locations of TILT at Pearlridge Shopping center one is in Phase 1/Uptown/Mauka, first floor just between the Applebees and Food Court. The other is located 2nd floor of Phase 2/Downtown/Wai Makai. For simplicity and sanitys sake (I dont even know why they keep changing the name of the places!) I'll just refer to both as location 1 and 2 and list what I observed! Location 1: Smaller, feels like a cramped damp basement! Darker, not as lit in back area (Teens smooching in dark corners) More Arcade Type Video Games Odd Smells More Ride type games Close to Exits, Parking Right next to Restroom and Food Court Prize exchange mediocre (Nephews own words not mine! "sucky these prizes") Winning Ratio, not rigged and not too bad, see pic. Location 2: Bigger and Taller Brighter, more Lit Bigger Machines Skee Ball and Basketball More Co op and multiplayer games (there was a VR game that was drawing a crowd of kids squealing in excitement) Moderate walking from Exit and Parking Restrooms somewhat close Better Prize Redemptions Winning Ratio, Losing more than winning I miss the old Tilts and Arcades, but this is still better than nothing. I dont see this as a month thing, or everytime were in the mall kinda thing, maybe more seasonal or special occasion. I've been taking my daughter here since she was a baby and now just 7 years later we're still going. They do make improvements along the way by adding new games and prizes. Our favorite is air hockey and now it's even bigger. 4 players can play together now. Seems it got more expensive, but what hasn't. The staff is usually very helpful and friendly. I haven't been to this arcade since they first took over the old Foot Locker location. This time I took my 1 year old daughter and it was fantastic!! I'm so sad I didn't get the prize attendant's name (working on Sunday, October 16 @ 11am) but boy was she awesome! She was so patient with my daughter and I and even let my child hold the balls with tickets until she blew up new ones that we picked out. Small things like that make me so happy. Pissed! I've spent hundreds of dollars at Tilt. Won thousands of tickets, barely ever redeemed for anything since my son wasn't into prizes yet, so we just saved it up. Last time we came, I put $100 on it and only played a little. Haven't been there since pre-pandemic and I walk in today, swipe my VIP registered card and it said ZERO?!?! Wtf? Lost all my money, all the tickets. The worker said the computers were updated last year and the info was probably deleted from the system. Bad business. Horrible. Hank and Noah are the managers supposedly. So believe me when I say I'll calling tomorrow about this. How is a small business supposed to stay open when they screw people over. As a child I remember this place as a game room. Took a look recently and half the games are casino like slot machines. They take up half the game space. The other half were a mix of traditional games and children games. While I was there had more elderly people playing those slot like machines then teenagers playing the games. I would have never have thought that an arcade for teenagers has now been replaced with arcades for seniors in Hawaii. Bad part is all the seniors that hop on planes to play slot games in Vegas can just stay in Hawaii to play slots. Vegas will missing out on all that money. read more

This review is for the new tilt on sears side. Fun small gaming arcade for kids to play at. Good place to pass time Maybe before or after a movie or dinner. Today we went to pass time and decided to play some games, one employee was out for about 10 mins then disappeared. I wanted to ask him why my card showed that I didn't have any tickets because we've been here before but couldn't find an employee. I waited by the counter for an employee for 5 mins but no one came out so I continued to play games for another 20 mins and when I was done no one was there. Left and went to grab food upstairs real quick before leaving and passed by and still no one there! Not sure if they're allowed to leave the counter for that long but I doubt that's acceptable. read more

Before Fun Factory left, I rarely visited Tilt. Even when it was at Windward Mall, I rarely visited Tilt. So when I saw they were setting up a new location in Pearl Ridge Downtown, i figured (sigh, what the heck) that it would be a pale imitation of the old Fun Factory. But...I was wrong. They did a great job of lighting the place up (their other locations were like being in a cave) and have a good assortment of games (the other locations had mostly videos). Two concerns were 1) after charging my card for a $50 tilt card, nothing fell out and 2) the tokens won on the Wizard of Oz coin push machine had to be manually counted by a clerk to credit to my account. As for item 1) I just planted my butt by the card machine and refused to leave till an attendant could help. The girl rushed over and much to my surprise, jammed her hand in the slot where the card was supposed to fall down. It turns out my $50 card was stuck in the chute. As for item 2) the old Fun Factory had a machine that would automatically credit your account with points for each token inserted. Faster and one less things for the attendants to do. They have a pretty good assortment of prizes that one can get and I'll be checking from time to time to see what else they bring in. Overall it was okay and I'll probably visit on a regular basis. read more

The games were old and the carpet had a weird pee smell. It felt like I was in a cat hoarders basement. I probably would have stayed and played skee ball but the game was broken, bummer! I remember coming here all the time just as much as Fun Factory if not more than Fun Factory back when I was a young youth and they still had coins instead of these video game credit cards and things. This is a smaller version of Fun Factory. The area where they have the games that you could win tickets is a perfect pathway and shortcut to go from one side of the mall to the other. Tilt is the perfect spot to do that because it is right next to one of the entrance/exit doors. They have a lot of arcade related games from fighting, driving/racing, shootings, and many more. They have a glass prize booth and the worker there can help you choose on which prize you can get depending on the amount of redeemable tickets you have. It's conveniently located right by the food court over there. It's a perfect place to hang out and have fun after a good meal from the food court. The prices for the games are decent.
