I can't believe I never wrote a review here, and sadly, they will be closing in a few short days! We love Chuck E Cheese Pearl City! We've had so many fun memories here with my two little boys. The best thing about Chuck E Cheese is how reasonable the game play is. For $20 bucks, you can play for close to an hour, especially if just one kid is playing. We've been coming here since my 4 year old was just a baby. We celebrated his 3rd birthday here! And this was one of our first family outings when my new baby who is now 1 was born. We love the staff here. They are friendly, helpful, and made my sons' visits each time special. On my oldest son's birthday, they had Chuck E come out and sing to him and brought him a slice of cake. It was so special! The games are fun and the space is clean. It's on the older side, but everything is well cared for. The food is a little pricy and not much to write home about, but we've eaten here more than once. The wings and fries are our favorite. Overall, we are SO sad to see it go. We hope to visit the other locations, but Pearl City holds a place in our hearts! read more

I love Chuck E. Cheese because their pizzas are delicious and the arcade is fun, also for this location, it's clean and the staff are very helpful and friendly too! My family had a great time here, watching the kids having fun, and also I enjoyed playing some of the arcade games myself too. They had a zombie shooting game and the Mario kart that were both really engaging. I also liked the skeeball and any shooting games as well. The climbing gym here was much smaller than the kalihi location, actually overall it's just a smaller place, but it's not as chaotic and I feel like it's cleaner too. As for the food, I don't care for their chicken tenders / nuggets, but I thoroughly enjoyed their bbq chicken, meat and ranch pizzas! Their crust had a really good garlic flavor. The last time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese was a year ago, and I had been thinking about their pizzas. A year later they still tasted delicious! Shout out to the staff too because they're all friendly and helpful. One game didn't work after tapping my card, and the staff went to give us a free game. If you decide to come back on your own, make sure you keep the play card. It costs money to get a new card. Their pricing for parties is not unreasonable. Tayelor was so very helpful in helping us to have another great day at Chuck E Cheese Pearl City. She's exceptional and you can tell she loves what she does and it shows! We of course enjoy the food and fun as this has been part of our family for 20 or more years! We brought our kids here and now our grandkids. We have always loved the family atmosphere it has provided us and the community. Now it has come down to corporate greed and lease costs so high that the numbers don't add up anymore for owners willing to take the risk to support the community. It is so frustrating to hear via news that the Pearl City branch will be closing in August! This is like HOME to us and it's now coming to an end here after 30 years of community support. This truly sucks for many families. We will now have to travel to Kalihi or Kapolei until their leases become also ridiculously too costly to meet payroll! We will miss this place and want all the staff at Pearl City Chuck E Cheese to know you guys did a fantastic job and provided a priceless service to the community. I love Chuck E. Cheese. They have the best pizza and wings. People are surprised when I tell them that, but they really do. I grew up going to Chuck E. Cheese. It was at their very first location on Kapiolani Blvd. where Papa John's is now. Then I started going to the Dillingham location. They have all these games that kids and big kids like me can play. You can redeem the tickets for prizes at the redemption center. They also have rides for kids, no big kids this time as we can't fit. It's usually packed with kids especially on the weekends. Kids love to have their birthday parties here. It was actually my first time at the Pearl City location as I live in town. It was exactly the same as the Dillingham location, full of kids running all around and having a good time. read more

You can't beat Chuck E. Cheese if your kids are still into it. My daughter turned 6 and we surprised her with a Monday trip--she was stoked! It was still empty around 1pm. We had originally gone to the Kalihi one because it's closer but apparently they don't open til 3 on the weekdays. We got the #6 combo that came with 2 pizzas, 6 drinks and a cookie pie for $76 I think? When you get any combo they give you 10% off tokens or time. I have never seen the unlimited game play, they now offer 1 hr of unlimited game play for $50 each. We thought this would be the better deal but I don't think k we'll go this route next time. I have a 6 and 7 yr old and they didn't seem to grasp the concept, I kept telling them hurry go play the games that you can win plenty tickets, but they wanted to take their time, stand in line at the lollipop machine and just weren't taking full advantage of the $50 unlimited play lol. I think it's better to get a bunch of tokens and let them play, choose and take their time playing until they run out. Now we know.. & older kids might like that option. Lots of parking spaces all around the shopping center. I haven't gone there for a while and was surprised that they used to stamp the parents hand and the children's hand to make sure only the parents can leave the premises with their children. It is sad that they don't do this for the safety of the children protection. They had lots of sanitation areas to clean your hands and also as you enter they instructed you to sanitize your hand. They had lots of staff working, service was fast even though the place was packed and all Birthday seating was filled waiting for guest to arrive. They really improved the quality of their pizza, before it was worst then the cheapest frozen pizza that you could buy in the supermarket, now the pizza has improved quality and taste. I absolutely love this place! It's a wonderful place to bring my child and they absolutely love it. This time, I was asked if we could go and I agreed since they did well in school and listened. Although I do get annoyed of all the COVID check-in guidelines that all businesses are forced to do, I still appreciate what they do. Chuck E. Cheese and the whole team at the Pearl City location are *AMAZING*. If you need to organize a birthday party for any of the kiddos in your life, I can't recommend them enough. When we decided to celebrate our second kiddo's 3rd birthday there, it was quite the last-minute sort of decision. Thankfully, we were still able to arrange for a few relatives to join us to at least eat pizza, play and sing happy birthday with cupcakes and a dancing, tall mouse. We did not have a party package reservation upon arriving, but after giving Ms. Tayelor some information regarding the size of our party, our food orders and desire for game cards, she immediately spoke with the manager to see if we could possibly purchase a party package which would have given us more bang for our buck. I greatly appreciated that because these types of outings in this day and age really are a privilege that many can't easily afford when in larger groups. They were able to accommodate us for a party package and they set everything up in a matter of minutes! I was so pleasantly surprised at how wonderful the service was and the real value of the package we purchased**. My kids and everyone in our party had a fantastic time- even the adults. It's so heartwarming to see everyone, especially your children, have so much fun and be treated so special by the team. I, also, felt that I was treated with so much Aloha by all the staff- especially by Tayelor, Jaycee, James and Kelsie. They each went above and beyond in ensuring that we had an awesome and memorable evening. I can't express how much that meant to me. You never know what people are going through and how your kindness can impact them... My husband and I were supposed to take our children to Disneyland to celebrate my daughter's birthday and go there for the first time as a family... We had to cancel the day we were supposed to fly out because we lost our baby in a miscarriage and were told by the doctors not to fly due to potential complications. That was just 2 weeks ago and through the sadness and disappointment, we struggled to focus on much else- including making new arrangements for our daughter's birthday party. The staff at Chuck E Cheese (especially those mentioned above) helped my husband and I relax and celebrate our daughter by doing all the heavy lifting and extending their Aloha spirit to us. We are so grateful for that- beyond words. **For reference, my party of 15 was about $22 per person with a play card of 45 points for the 6 kids with pizza and drinks and a special show for my birthday girl with the staff and Chuck E singing happy birthday and even the ticket tornado booth thing was all included (Super Fun package). We brought our own cake and they so very kindly put it in the fridge until it was time and they brought it out all set up with candles! read more

The last time I came to a Chuck E Cheese was probably over 10 years ago. I took my 2 year old there for the first time and this place still looks the same! The only thing different was that they are doing away with tokens. You can now purchase a game card or wristband to play the games. I always enjoyed their food and after coming here this recent time, I can say I still do! The workers here all seem so young but they were all super friendly! Everyone I encountered had a great personality and even tho we weren't there for a party, we had multiple people come and check on us. Much appreciated. The girl at the register misunderstood what my mom was asking for when ordering. Once she brought it up, the managers remedied it without hesitation. Took the kiddo to Chuck E Cheese at her request. We usually go to the Kapolei location since it's bigger than the others, but since I took her to ride the train at Pearlridge, we opted to have lunch in Pearl City since it was close by and she was hungry. You need proof of Covid vaccination to enter, and after that you take a selfie with your little one and then you're allowed in. Because it was right before Christmas, she received a ticket that had a scratch off and she ended up receiving 100 tickets for free! She was excited! We ordered a small pizza (half cheese/half pepperoni), fries, dry wings with ranch on the side, two sodas, and 40 tokens. Our bill was a little over $60. Chuck E Cheese is NOT cheap, but as long as the kiddo is happy, Mommy is happy! The cashier overheard me ask my kiddo if she would pick off the pepperoni on the pizza (the sign said one topping for a small) but she went to ask a co-worker and told me I could do a half and half pizza which I greatly appreciated! We found our table, got our drinks, and our food arrived hot and fresh shortly thereafter. We honestly had 4 people come by to ask us how everything was and if we needed anything. ALL the employees were very professional but SO NICE!!! Even my kiddo said "Mommy everyone is nice here." Yes they are! Shout out to Chuck E Cheese Pearl City for exceptional customer service and for literally EVERY staff member we encountered being SO KIND! Our empty plates were quickly taken away and then we were off to play games. A couple employees made continuous rounds spraying and wiping down games which was awesome to see. The rides were all in working condition. The bathroom was very clean and they have a little sink for the kiddos. The prize section is okay... not a huge selection of stuff and the amount of tickets you need is pretty high (compared to other game places) but as long as the kiddo is happy right? She didn't care that it was 500 tickets for Chuck E Cheese light up glasses... lol All in all highly recommended. Great staff. They survived from having a dozen people per hour during 2021 to getting back to normal. They have one of the best Pizzas and average pricing. Games are played using metal tokens but just changed to a plastic card. We have a large pepperoni pizza, fountain drinks, and ice cream. Pros: -Great pizza -Great games. -Daiso in next door. When you ask a little person if they want pizza, it's a super bonus to take them to Chuck E Cheese. Little #2 is still happy as ever to go to CEC, I admit, that pizza is super yummy, so I try not to be too hungry when we go to CEC, otherwise I might just eat half a pizza all by myself. With the new "restrictions" there are no longer handstamps, they ask you take a selfie with the little human so you can show they are yours on the way out. If pizza is the only thing we eat, the littles and I are happy campers. Of course, Papa needs more than pizza to be happy, so he gets chicken wings and a salad. With games being 1 token each, it's really worth it to spend an hour or so with the littles, washing hands often is key! read more

I just moved from San Diego to Kailua with my 3 children. As if the move wasn't hard enough, it was my youngest daughters birthday. With no family or even close friends here on the island, I took her to Chuck E. Cheese. I normally cringe at spending my afternoon at such an establishment, but from arrival this experience was different. The young man at the door was so welcoming! He greeted us and immediately set out on making the birthday girl special. Trina the manager and Rachael the attendant all made the difference in celebrating her 6th bday. It's a great deal with their Summer Fun Passes, but at the same time, some of their machines in this location are out of order or don't properly work. Like their food deals. It must have been good but how does it fare years later when your toungue has met many other pizzas and your taste buds has some experience and mileage on it? With a name like Chuck E Cheese, yeah you can bet I will come and give this "baby steps" pizza a whirl. The inside of this place is scattered with token gobbling machines and rides. Towards the back, is the stage and game events with large tables to accommodate special celebrations. While this venues main focus is catering for kiddie entertainement and amusement, how does the food measure up? Specifically its pizza. PIZZA SAMPLED: Pepperoni Personal 6 slices $.6.99 TOPPINGS: (1/10) Just outright gross. My nephew put it best as describing it as "Tastes like glue and carboard" the sauce was sour almost putrid like, cheese had no taste. CRUST: (1/10) Gummy and oily taste to it. VALUE: (2/10) I mean yeah I know this is a kiddie pizza and all but don't be fooled when the menu board says 6 slices, it's 6 teeny weeny slices. The whole pizza is still smaller than other pizza places 1 slice and priced higher, with a big difference in quality. Pay more for less and for a close to gag worthy pitiful excuse for a pizza anyone? That's okay it's for kids right? And they won't care, they'll eat it up right Chuck E? Did Skynet warp the flavors away to another timeline? It's possible now that I think about it since it did take 45 minutes. Some machines have a mind of it's own in deciding when you "can" win or lose. After thinking on this for a while and considering 2 starring this place, I had to put into consideration the main purpose of this place. Its for the kids and not so for me. While I wouldn't say this places strongpoint is speed (45 minutes for a personal pizza wth?) or professionalism, the casual setting and friendly enough service is sufficient. The kids do enjoy a place with a variety of calamorus machines and amenities to strategically burn off their energy, provide fun, at the expense of adult pockets. I also think the riggameter is high here. A certain machines last visit was cranking out 1000 tickets per $20. This recent visit netted under 300 tickets with $30 spent on the same machine. This game machine wasn't even adhering to its bonus features making it highly suspect to "degree of difficulty shifting" (Skynet rigging) for more token sucking action. Came to play some games and get dinner. After our twins were done playing we left our table to go pick out prizes and the twins were going to go back and finish eating. Unfortunately while we were getting prizes someone threw away our food. Honest mistake. Since we realized this happened while we were picking prizes the kids mentioned they were still hungry so we let them pick out a desert. The manager on duty - Trina - had been answering all my questions about the new summer promo they have running and heard how our food got thrown away on accident. She offered to make us more pizza to make up for it but we told her it was fine - the kids would be happy with dessert so we paid and sat down to wait for dessert. Trina walked over and brought us a new personal pan pizza to make up for their mistake. Completely unnecessary (we shouldn't have left the table unattended) but it was such a nice gesture of her to take care of us especially after we even declined her offer earlier. Service was fast & on point. Our first giant cookie came out burnt around the edges so my husband asked if we could have another one made & return that one. The employee agreed with no issues & even let us keep the burnt one lol. Chuck E was always walking around and making all the kids smile. It was a fun few hours. 4/5 stars because when we first walked in it does smell a little old and ran down inside but it's mostly by the front entrance and where you order your food. Chuck E. Cheese "Pearl City" is definitely a winner. First off, haven't been in this location in years, it's just as clean and friendly as I remember. The pizza is just how I remember it; "hot and fresh"! The staff is very engaging and extremely helpful. Not once, not twice but three different staff came by our table to ask if everything was okay and if we needed anything. Unlike many places I have been "COVID ATTITUDE" definitely didn't hit this place. All of the staff make you fee welcome and at home which is rare these days. Speaking about COVID, the tables and common areas are always being wiped done, for me as a grandparent, this is very important Staff is only as good as the management team and Trina (Manager) and Tayelor (Supervisor) were so engaging, friendly and helpful; it made this time so much fun for my family. Haven't been to this place in such a long while, my little one requested to come here on his special day, and glad that we did. As soon as we entered we were greeted by the amazing staffs which made our little one shout out in joy "today is my birthday", the staffs were so sweet and all greeted him a happy birthday and crowning him with his very own birthday crown, oh boy, you should see the smile on his face. I'm not a big fan of Chuck E. Cheese because my daughter always picks up some kind of sickness every time we go. 4 years ago she got salmonella infection from a location in North Carolina. It was not pretty and cleaning up after her was disgusting. Fast forward to June of this year when she picked up hand, foot and mouth disease from the Pearl City Location. When my friends suggested we bring the kids here, I should have said, "no thank you." My fault for not listening to my gut. My daughter had to stay home and was isolated from friends for two weeks until her symptoms went away on their own. Unfortunately, it was the beginning of summer break and she missed out on a lot of fun things. I can't be sure, but I think the germs are from the overhead slide/tube. Since that area is tiny and employees can't fit inside that tube, it probably does not get cleaned. Every time she got sick from a Chuck E. Cheese she was playing in that area. My older son and the other kids we were with did not get sick because none of them played in that area. Unfortunately, this will be the last time we visit any Chuck E. Cheese location. read more

You can't hate on Mr. Cheese...For decades, this giant mouse has given kids very memorable moments for their birthdays. Back in the day for us, it was at Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor or Shakeys Pizza(Who remembers that?) This mouse has taken that blueprint and upped the ante with a present day look. Pizza, wings, games, rides, AND a show featuring Mr. Cheese and all his friends! Our ohana came here for my nephew Jesse's 6th birthday party, and boy did all the kids have a blast! The Chuck E. Cheese staff members did a great job of taking care of our party from start to finish, as well as all other birthday parties that were happening around us. It gets very chaotic in here! So I had my daughters birthday party here in September. I was so last minute that I called that same day to reserve a party about 40+ kids/adults. We made it on a Monday night & it was literally packed & busy. My server was TIMO & he was the biggest help ever. He was so understanding & helpful. He come to are table like ever 5 minutes to check up on us or if we needed refills on the drinks or food. PARKING:The parking area is big but it gets packed alot, but they also have parking on the second floor. Ever since ive been in a wheel chair ive noticed alot of places having only like 2-4 parking stalls, like common people we have way more people then that on this island & mostly if they have multiple restaurants & stores around. FOOD: I swear this place has the best pizza, chicken wings, salad bar, & mostly the RANCH SAUCE(atleast this is free). The food is pretty pricey but its definitely worth it. If you guys dont think that then i dont know lol. GAMES: I love that the games at any of the locations, all games are just 1 token BUT your kids can definitely use it up real fast. Oh, Chucky E. Cheese...you sure know how to "Make a kid feel like a kid" and "Make an adult feel like a kid." Your motto is so simple and yet powerful... Whenever I go there, it brings out the kid in me! For sure. I enjoy playing games, dancing with Chucky and taking photos in the Animation Drawing Photo Booth. It is so much fun! Aside from all the fun, I enjoy eating there. Their pizzas are so delicious! Hands down. Just the simple pepperoni is my favorite. Their crust is drenched in a warm garlic butter sauce. Omg!!! Let me tell you people, this crust is amazeballs! When I can get my hands on their ranch dressing, I sinfully dip the crust in it. Omg, another home run! Their ranch dressing is homemade...made from scratch! You can tell that it is homemade. Ummmmmmm! I want some now. Another food item I enjoy here is their chicken wings with ranch dressing. So yummy. I was scrolling through my phone looking for videos of a family member that just passed. I come across just a few of the dozens of videos we've taken at this Chuck E's. I've been to many Chuck E's but the kids at Pearl City always made this location THE BEST. They really made our kids and family feel happy every time we went there on Halloween night after the mall. Our kids, nieces and nephews are older now but they still great memories of this place BECAUSE of the kids who were working there. These videos are from 2019 Halloween night. Love the food here - best pizza better than actual pizza places. They're always on it and patient with the kids and families. They also stay on top of keeping kids SAFE. So they mark everyone's hands at the door and lately they've been taking photos too so if someone tried to walk out with a kid, they can't leave unless they're in the photo take when they walked in. They say Disney is "the happiest place in the world" but nah, it's CHUCK E's Pearl City!!! Ps. So I came across this Chuck E. Cheese on yelp and was curious on the good reviews. I saw people raving about the pizza. Could the pizza be that good? As a kid, it just tasted like plain pizza - but, I do remember the yummy salad bar lol. Well I'm here to tell you, that this place has one of the best pizzas on the island. Surprised? Me too lol! Out of curiosity, my fiancé and I ordered a large pizza (half mushroom, half olive and pineapples) with STUFFED CRUST! (Yes.. they have stuffed crust! It came out to about $32. At first I was thinking "damn that's expensive." We went to pick it up and they have a much more expansive menu than I remember (albeit the last time I was in a Chuck E. Cheese was the mid 90's lol). I wanted to try the pretzel bites, but unfortunately they were out. We went home with our pizza, and we were surprised by how cheesy and delicious it looked. We both took a slice and took a big bite . Then, we both stared at each other in awe, and took another bite. Could it be? Could it be this good? Yes. Yes it was.. and it's now one of our favorite pizzas on the island. The toppings were a good ratio to the pizza, the cheese was delicious, and the stuffed crust was perfect - not too salty or greasy. Impressively clean! By far a friendly staff, in comparison to other states. They disinfect all tables at the end of the night. Chuck E was very interactive and animated, most entertaining Ive seen. Well worth taking kids as well as young adults. read more
