I can't believe I never wrote a review here, and sadly, they will be closing in a few short days!…read moreWe love Chuck E Cheese Pearl City! We've had so many fun memories here with my two little boys. The best thing about Chuck E Cheese is how reasonable the game play is. For $20 bucks, you can play for close to an hour, especially if just one kid is playing. We've been coming here since my 4 year old was just a baby. We celebrated his 3rd birthday here! And this was one of our first family outings when my new baby who is now 1 was born. We love the staff here. They are friendly, helpful, and made my sons' visits each time special. On my oldest son's birthday, they had Chuck E come out and sing to him and brought him a slice of cake. It was so special! The games are fun and the space is clean. It's on the older side, but everything is well cared for. The food is a little pricy and not much to write home about, but we've eaten here more than once. The wings and fries are our favorite. Overall, we are SO sad to see it go. We hope to visit the other locations, but Pearl City holds a place in our hearts!

My family had a great time here, watching the kids having fun, and also I enjoyed playing some of the arcade games myself too. They had a zombie shooting game and the Mario kart that were both really engaging. I also liked the skeeball and any shooting games as well. The climbing gym here was much smaller than the kalihi location, actually overall it's just a smaller place, but it's not as chaotic and I feel like it's cleaner too. As for the food, I don't care for their chicken tenders / nuggets, but I thoroughly enjoyed their bbq chicken, meat and ranch pizzas! Their crust had a really good garlic flavor. The last time I went to a Chuck E. Cheese was a year ago, and I had been thinking about their pizzas. A year later they still tasted delicious! Shout out to the staff too because they're all friendly and helpful. One game didn't work after tapping my card, and the staff went to give us a free game. If you decide to come back on your own, make sure you keep the play card. It costs money to get a new card. Their pricing for parties is not unreasonable. I'd consider this as a spot for kids party!

When we asked him if our 1 hour time started right when he opened up our lane or when we first started bowling, he said: "I hope so" with attitude and a straight face. So we assumed that our time started when we started bowling. My entire group ordered food before we started bowling, assuming our timer didn't start, but when we started bowling, we already lost 5 minutes (Mind you, it is $70 per lane per hour). Then, our bowling balls were getting stuck in the machine and not being properly returned to us. So, we told him that they were stuck, and he replied by saying "Holy shit" and nothing else. Then, when I walked past the desk to pickup my food, he stopped me and said "If you keep getting balls stuck like that we're gonna kick you out". The balls were getting stuck because the alley's system was not working properly, and he still threatened to kick us out. Our bowls repeatedly got stuck 2 more times and we had to tell Vincent about it, and each time he rolled his eyes and had an irritated look on his face. After the second time our balls got stuck, he moved us to new lanes (Keep in mind, our 1 hour timer was still ticking). After we moved lanes, one of our buddies asked if we could get our time back because of the amount of delays that were happening (Time started before we started bowling, bowling balls getting stuck 3 times, switching lanes completely). Vincent told my buddy "That's not how it works" over and over again, and we did not get our time back. As we were leaving, we asked for his name, and on our way out be replied with "If you get one problem, don't come back again!". The absolute worst service I have ever experienced.

One downside is that there isn't a whole lot of seating around the bowling area since the restaurant takes up a good portion of the space. Located inside of a Bowling Alley, Aiea Bowl also has a restaurant that was featured on Diners, Dine ins, and Drives. I'm hesitant with any recommendation from DDD because the others I've tried haven't been great BUT Aiea Bowl's food did not disappoint. I went with combo that came with their fried chicken and loco moco. While the burger patty could've used more seasoning, the portion size was massive and the gravy was hella good. The fried chicken though, easily the star of the show. So damn good. My partner got the oxtail soup, which was alright. To end the meal we got one of their crunch cake, and I wasn't even hungry but we crushed this. Safe to say we enjoyed it. The service here was great. I think the prices match the portions here. It's definitely a place I would never leave hungry lol. Would I eat here again? Definitely!

This was the third time we tried to visit, and every single time there has been an excuse why my kids couldn't play. We've been told it's full, that there aren't enough kids, or that they could only play for 30 minutes. This time, I called ahead to make sure there was space before driving over. The person I spoke with told me they were open and had plenty of room. I explained that we would arrive in about 30 minutes. He said there was a birthday party starting at 4:00 PM, so my three boys would have 30 minutes to play freely before it got busy, and that they would be fine. When we arrived, we were immediately told they were closed for a party. I explained that I had just called and been told otherwise. Instead of trying to resolve the situation, the staff became hostile and accused me of lying, saying, "We don't even have a phone. We haven't had one for months." That's impossible because I called the phone number listed on their Google Business page. Rather than apologizing or trying to figure out what happened, they told us to leave and refused to let my kids play. The customer service was completely unacceptable. Lucas, Jason, and the manager (who refused to give me their name) handled the situation very poorly. Even if there had been a misunderstanding, there was no reason to treat a customer that way. We left and went to Space Room instead, and it turned out to be the best decision. The staff there were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Our kids had an amazing time, and the experience was everything we had hoped for. I will never return to Pups of War, and I cannot recommend it based on how we were treated. Save yourself the wasted trip and go somewhere that values its customers.

So it's 200 points for $20 and 1500 points for $100. All rides average 30points and that's only because Sunday 12n-6pm is at a discount. It could be more in the evening. Compared to long time ago there's less rides and game booths. The pre-paid cards is also good for games and food booths . They do not except any cash at the game booths anymore. It was a new experience for me but I guess it's easier that way plus more efficient. It was very hot on a Sunday afternoon but my grand nephew had fun that's the main thing . We also had pizza and cotton candy to bring home . I guess due to Covid19 it's hard to maintain workers so EK Fernandez have to go on a smaller scale carnival. It was smaller than I could remember way back when . Support local so they can still be in business

The admission to the museum was pricey, even for Kama'aina, so we opted to get the Family Membership instead. The membership was for 2 adults and up to 4 kids, and also has discounts for other exhibits. After a quick sweep through the museum, and a wary observation of the flight simulator, the grandson decided it was time to eat. I got the Blue Angels Burger and he got the kids hot dog meal. I'd say the prices were reasonable, considering how much takeout and restaurant food costs these days. The burger was fat as hell and the dog wasn't Costco sized but definitely satisfied the kid. I didn't get pics of the food because I was too enthralled over the size of the patty! We spent the day also visiting the Mighty Mo, the Virtual Reality tour, and gift shop shopping also.

Buses are provided for free to each museum and visitor center. 2. You cannot bring a handbag unless it is clear see through or the size of a checkbook. You need to check it into a "locker" for $7.33. I understand that active military base, but not publishing on the website regarding the bag restrictions and then forcing people to pay it just not right. But oh well. Plan accordingly because while the buses run every 15 minutes, you need to wait. The museum is $30 entry fee but keep in mind 3/4 of the museum is currently closed for renovation. For $30 it is a bit pricey but because of the buses and the amount of employees, i understand the high price tag. 2 stars. The deep history and the significance of this place and the men and women that gave their lives makes this a 5 star must see to show your respect. Museum: very small but well done with restored planes recovered from the war. There was a Blue Angels pilot shared his experience. I was able to catch the last 5 minutes. The employees are very knowledgeable and willing to share stories. I read everything and was done in roughly 45 minutes. The museum is very small - 4 stars. Here is my recommendation: Come the visitor center it is free. Check that out and read everything. See the Submarine from the outside because it is free. Then jump on the bus because it is free. While you are driving to the warship, you pass the Arizona Memorial. Snap a photo and show your respect. Get off at the warship. Walk around the warship it is free. Then jump back on the bus and go to the Aviation museum. Again free. Walk around the outside and see the airplanes it is free. There is a gigantic helicopter it is free. Go to the back and look in the backside to get perspective. Then just back on the bus and go back to the visitor center it is free. If anyone says anything to you, go to the cafe/restaurant across from the Aviation Museum.
