An adorable eye catching shop filled with anime, Sanrio characters, plushies, stickers, collectibles and so much more. This store's name caught my attention. "Kawaii" in Japanese culture represents the quality of being cute, or items that are cute. It's a store filled top to bottom with kawaii items. Many are on the pricey side. I picked up a small box containing a Hello Kitty 50th anniversary blind box that was $19.99. This place also had Gachapon machines! I couldn't see how much it cost. The store had colorful displays and adorable plushies lining the walls. This place was pretty busy for a Sunday. Great for a special gift or birthday present. Overall: 4/5 stars

This store has the cutest things - from Hello Kitty, Anime, Peanuts, Totoro, my daughter's favorite Mofusand and many more! I bought some Mofusand items for my daughter's birthday but I hope to return soon. It is located at Ka Makani Ali'i Shopping Center in Kapolei.

Lots of cool items and pop mart collectibles but they are way to overpriced $30 for a hirono should be a crime.

Shopping at "Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa" in Kapolei, Oahu, Hawaii…read more.. If you want Disney merchandise with a Hawaiian theme, this is the store to go to - especially if you want holiday-themed items! My cousin's son in Northern California asked me to get some Disney Aulani merchandise for him to give to his wife for Christmas. He obviously knows that Happy Wife = Happy Life! At first, I thought, "Ho... Kapolei is far!" I told him that I'll ask my friend who works there to get the merchandise for him. He sent me a screenshot of a Spirit Jersey that he had seen on Instagram on DisneyHawaiiMoms page. He asked for a medium size. I sent the screenshot to my friend who said she would look... A couple of days later, my cousin followed up with me. I asked my friend about the shirt. It turned out that she was so busy at work that she didn't get a chance to go to the store. Shucks! I realized (with a feeling of dread) that I needed to take a drive - way out there... especially since he wanted pictures of other shirts and ornaments. Uhg... I checked GPS... it would be a 35-minute drive (one-way) to the west side of the island... boo! I told my cousin that I'd probably have to pay for parking... yuk! At least this was on a Saturday without workday traffic! Arrrggg! When GPS told me that I had arrived, I didn't believe it because I didn't see a large sign for "Aulani". I drove past two Ko'Olina lagoon entrances until I gave in, turned around, and entered the driveway for the valet. I asked if I could park for a few minutes to get a shirt for my cousin. Unfortunately, the valet area was full. I was directed to self-parking where the first half hour is free... yay! I took the first space that I saw... nearest to the "Lobby" sign and walked quickly to the resort entrance. Gosh... There were A LOT of tourists! I headed to an employee and asked where the store was. It's to the left of the main entrance. Ok... it's nearby! ...and there it was!!! The Spirit Jersey was front and center! Yippee! However, there were no Medium nor Large sizes! Darn! I asked if there were any in the back... Nope! The shipment will come on Monday night, so I should return on Wednesday. (Sigh) Since I was there, I took lots of photos of other shirts and items that he might want. He decided on a $45 t-shirt. As I was cashing out, I tried to get my parking validated. The cashier said that if I make a purchase of $50 or more, I would get an hour of free parking... whoa! It's a good thing that my cousin wanted one of the ornaments, too! Whew! Service was very helpful and friendly - they all called me "Auntie"! How did they know??? LOL!!! I told everyone that's I'd see them again on Wednesday! Haha!

Quick snack or shopping for seasonal items…read more This convenience shop is located on the main floor. Of course, they sell all types of Disney items and those Micky ears. But did you know they sell board games, pins, and plushies? How about light travel toiletries or microwaveable food, bread, soda, ice cream, and hard liquor? If you don't want to drink out the bottle, buy a Goofy mug or a Minnie cup. You can pick up a suitcase, an aloha shirts and matching dresses here too. And if you have a photo pass card, this is where it's redeemable. Overall four stars. If you want a Hawaii, Disney mesh you come here. Not quite five because it's on the smaller side and you have to squeeze between the aisle especially when guest bring their luggage inside. M

As we were making our way everything seemed fine got asked about two times by I believe the manager lady she was a lil shorter lady. We said we were good both times didn't bother us. Then as we became the only two customers in the SMALL three aisle store the cashier up front (Heavy set person of color, I believe she had glasses and a side pony) decided to swiffer mop right in the aisle that my friend was looking at product in. She then gave a wicked face as I started walking up the aisle in the spot that she just mopped . I said sorry n stayed friendly but just thought it was weird how she decided to mop right where we were.so as me and my friend are chatting about the hair colors n things she stops literally right beside my friend n just stands there listening to us before she interrupts to give some advice. We thank her n tell her we had knew what she was talking about. Idk if that made her mad but she then just proceeds to stand there swiffer in hand about shoulder to shoulder from my friend as we keep chatting n it just feels beyond awkward. Like literally just stands there right next to us still just listening to our conversation and frankly invading our personal space. I've worked in retail for almost 5 years and ik the protocol for watching customers and profiling them and we were friendly never rude we said we didn't need help and usually we go on and do other things but watch from afar but this was way to creepy and really infuriating. As soon as my friend made a comment about wanting to put everything back and leave she finally moves behind us up to the front of the aisle and then just STANDS there swiffer STILL in hand( she didn't even mop the other aisles mind you!!!) n she just waits...staring at us straight up! Like if I wasn't trying to be a good person and a returning customer I would have went off and sounded very rude but I was there with my friend for her to grab her items. We finally just rush to grab anything n she leads us to the register. We check out and leave with the most gross taste in our mouths trying to just understand why she was like that but woah I had to come on here and let whoever reads this to be aware. And maybe speak up for us next time! I really hope she reads this and gets either put in the back with stock or signed up with better quality service cuz sis you need help. Mahalo

Please AVOID this location at all costs!…read more Here is the updated response from their team. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY! I'm sorry Casee, but Donki does not care or take customer's complaints serious like your reply implies: At the outset, we apologize for the inconvenience and the experience you mentioned when shopping at our store on May 17, 2026 (Sunday). After reviewing this matter carefully, it appears: Store employees near the store exit asked every customer to present a copy of their purchase receipt; In addition to visible checks by store employees at the exit, signs were posted for customers: "Please have receipt ready"; Customers before you presented their receipts and, after a quick verification, their receipts were returned and they exited the store; When the store employee requested you to provide a copy of your purchase receipt, you were not able to and you searched the pockets in your clothes and in your shopping cart but the receipt could not be found; you then stated you had thrown away the receipt; In accordance with store policy, the store employee asked which check-out counter you made the purchase and you pointed in the direction of the self-check stations; You then retrieved your mobile phone and started video recording; As your hands were occupied video recording on your phone, our store employee pushed your cart to the self-check station area and you followed; Upon inspecting the self-check station you were at, there was no receipt. However, your receipt was later recovered from the attendant station after a cashier found a receipt at the self-check station you used and brought it to the attendant station. You continued to focus on your phone to video record. The store employee retrieved the receipt and compared it against the merchandise in your shopping cart; You continued to video record; After verification, the receipt was handed to you before the store employee pushed your cart to the exit area as you continued to video record on your mobile phone. You followed the store employee to the exit area and you left the store with your shopping cart; and On May 22, 2026 (Friday), at 6:36 PM, you submitted a formal report and claim to the store. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Don Don Donki. After spending a significant amount of money in the store and at the food court, I was stopped, detained, and escorted back to the checkout area against my wishes despite having paid for every item in my possession. One of the items I purchased even required an employee to remove a security hard tag during checkout, clearly demonstrating that the merchandise had been properly paid for. I am extremely concerned by the conduct of your security personnel during the incident in question. The video evidence clearly demonstrates that I did not voluntarily consent to returning to the store. Instead, I was directed and escorted back inside by Security Officer Siemens despite my expressed desire to leave the premises. At that time, all merchandise in my possession had already been lawfully purchased and paid for. More troubling is the fact that even after proof of purchase was produced and verified by store employees, Security Officer Siemens continued to retain control over my property and refused to return it immediately. Despite confirmation that all items had been properly paid for, I was treated as though I had committed a criminal act and was escorted from the store in a manner that was humiliating, intimidating, and highly embarrassing. As a paying customer who made multiple purchases at your establishment, including supporting one of your concession vendors, I find this treatment unacceptable. Customers should not be subjected to detention, public humiliation, or interference with their personal property simply because store procedures are inadequately staffed or managed. If receipt verification procedures are causing operational challenges due to a lack of manpower, that burden should not be shifted onto customers who have already completed lawful purchases. Operational shortcomings do not justify the detention of customers, the withholding of personal property, or conduct that may constitute false imprisonment and wrongful interference with personal property rights. I respectfully request a written explanation as to why I was detained, why my property was withheld after proof of purchase was presented, and what corrective actions will be taken to ensure that other customers are not subjected to similar treatment in the future. This incident has caused significant distress, embarrassment, and anxiety, and remains deeply disappointing given the manner in which I was treated despite being a legitimate paying customer What a shame, Don Don Donki. What a shame!
