TEC ART HAS DONE IT AGAIN!…read more I had a great experience when I was planning my daughters 1st birthday that I knew I would be coming back to their services again in the future. One year later, here I am giving an update on this year's services I had Tec Art help do for me. I wasn't planning on having a big celebration for my daughter this year that would require to hire vendor services but we found out we were going to welcome my 13 year old stepson home for good to Hawaii from Oregon. So I decided why not have a surprise welcoming party along with my daughters 2nd Birthday?! I contacted Maria a few months before the party date. Luckily she was available that night to provide services with them. I worked closely with her through emails and text if needed. Our date had to be changed to the following week and even though she was already booked with two other parties, she was still willing to take me on even though we had some conflicts that we managed to compromise. So grateful for her and her team to go above and beyond to meet our needs and expectations even through all the changes I had requested. The following services I got from them were: Digital Invitation Centerpieces Banner Money box Goody Bags Cardboard Sign Stage Balloons Let me tell you though! Trying to incorporate two themes is harder than trying to plan one theme. But Maria helped me go through ideas and it turned out awesome! We planned a joint TWOdles Minnie Mouse and Slytherin Harry Potter theme that fit well for the kids. There's so many ideas on Pinterest that could help guide your way but when you're indecisive person like me, it helps to have a planner that will help in making your decision. I threw random ideas at Maria and basically took it all into consideration and provided samples of what it'll look like. One thing I've noticed that some comments have been made by other people is that they don't get a response fast enough from them. I understand why they would say that but yet I have experience with this company two years in a row and they are a small business that provides a lot of services so it can be overwhelming. My advice would be to just be patient and if anything, do follow up emails like I did and even text/call them if you want a quicker response. From my experience, even though it may take longer for a response, I know that they're doing their job and will execute whatever request with pride. Their past events that they've done shows talent and impressive work. The end product was worth it. Thank you Maria & Jay for another year of party success and your generosity! :)

Where do I even begin?! Maria, Jay and their team are UNBELIEVABLY AMAZING! I truly believe that…read morethey are THE BEST at what they do! I was referred to Maria and Jay from a friend of mine because I was planning my son's 1st birthday party and looking for vendors. I then looked them up on Instagram to see their work and I was blown away! I have never seen balloon art like theirs and it's simply amazing! Very detailed, and extremely creative! I looked at few other companies before checking them out, and I knew once I saw their work that I HAD to have them for my son's 1st birthday party! I contacted Maria via Email about a month or two after my son was born (early I know, but the 1st birthday party planning struggle is real! And if you want certain vendors, you need to touch base w/them early to secure your date!) and she responded after a day or two. The first time I called her she picked up right away! And we were able to discuss my son's "Space Jam" themed party. Our first meeting was to discuss what we wanted for my son's party as far as colors, and what package we wanted to go with. For my son's party, they did the balloon art which included spiral columns, name arch, balloon decorations for the stage, cake table balloons, reception balloons, banner, basketball hoop arch for the entrance, centerpiece's, 3 balloons attached to centerpiece on each table and money box. (Money box was added to the package just two weeks before the party and they were able to accommodate! I am so thankful for that!) Throughout the year working with Maria was awesome, she always responded to my emails and returned my calls. She even accommodated last minute changes my bf wanted to make with the colors (just two weeks before the party) thank you for that!! Our last meeting was to give her our centerpiece items for the clear stuffed balloons and go over last details. The day of the party they were early and ready to go! (our venue was the Hawaii Okinawa Center in Waipio and they only give you an hour to set up). The balloon set up was amazing, almost a year working with Maria and to see all our planning come to life paid off! It was a great weight lifted off my shoulders! They make planning a party that much easier! I don't think you'll find another balloon company as creative as Tec Art Ideas! They are such a hard working team! On top of that they do so much more! Just inquire with Maria and she can definitely let you know all that they do. I hope this is not the last time I work with Maria and Jay of Tec Art Ideas Hawaii because they were very professional and creative which shows in their work. I appreciate all their input and ideas throughout the planning process and I'll be forever thankful!

I highly recommend Party Time Hawaii for any and all of your future events!…read more I first reached out to Dave about a week before my sons 1st birthday party. I was worried they wouldn't have availability since it was so last minute, but we were able to book with him! His replies were always very fast (within 20 minutes) and he made the booking process so quick and easy. Their prices are very reasonable as well! On the day of the party, they arrived early to set up. We booked them for balloon twisting and airbrush tattoos and all our guests, both children and adults, loved them! Their work was very beautiful and all the kids kept lining back up for more. It was adorable seeing all the tattoos and balloons everywhere! They were so great with the kids and all our guests had so much fun. Dave made my son a Winnie the Pooh balloon and he absolutely loved it. The sweet woman working with Dave (unfortunately I forget her name, my brain was all over the place at the time) made my son a little turtle balloon bracelet and he was obsessed with it! She also asked for my favorite color, and then made me a rose balloon in that color! She actually walked all the way across the room to hand them to us both times. They were both very sweet people! All in all, I'm so happy with this whole experience from beginning to end! Thank you Party Time Hawaii, I highly recommend!

We hired Fred and Kate Events for our wedding at Lanikuhonua since the venue requires a licensed…read morewedding planner. We chose their full-service package as this package included sourcing vendors for us, but hiring them turned out to be the biggest mistake of our wedding. 1. Subpar vendor sourcing The vendor recommendations were completely misaligned with our vibe and significantly overpriced. They provided only a single option per category with zero room for comparison. We ended up having to research, vet, and book almost all the other vendors ourselves to get the vibe we wanted at a much more affordable price point. 2. Day-of logistics & communication failure Despite asking for our bus driver's contact details in advance, the team did not coordinate with him. Our driver had to repeatedly call us directly on our wedding day while we were trying to get ready and enjoy the moment. When we brought this up to the team, the excuse given was simply, "Oh yeah, we have never worked with him before." As professional planners, coordinating with new vendors is the bare minimum expectation. 3. Rude and unprofessional attitude on the day A wedding planner should keep the atmosphere calm and positive. Instead, Tessa created unnecessary stress and hostility: a. Disrespectful to Our Officiant: Our officiant, a close friend who walked us through marriage preparation and flew all the way to Hawaii, politely asked Tessa a logistical question and was bluntly told, "Now is not the time to be asking these questions." Right before our march-in, she was openly talking rudely about him in front of our entire bridal party, killing the excitement and making everyone feel uncomfortable. b. Aggressive tone with groomsmen: During the groomsmen photoshoot, she snapped at one of the groomsmen for chewing gum, aggressively telling him: "Is that gum? You either spit it out or you swallow it." 4. Zero Accountability We hesitated to write a public review and reached out privately via email first to share our experience. Their response did not include a single apology or acknowledgment of their shortcomings. Every single external vendor we sourced and hired on our own was fantastic, but Fred and Kate Events consistently added tension, failed on coordination, and treated our closest friends and family with disrespect. Would totally look elsewhere for wedding coordination.
