A deposit is requested to hold the date and items, conveniently payable via their website link or Venmo, Pay Pal. A confirmation email locks your date and items in with the deposit. The day of the delivery driver calls to confirm address and drop off time and pick up. We have never experienced any problems with dropping off at wrong time, wrong items, incorrect number or broken. The chairs and tables we order are always clean and in good working condition. We wipe them down before stacking to make it easier for them to pick up. The littles were only able to use the inflatables for a short time. The rains were persistent and the crew returned the following day to pick up the inflatables. Rain water had gotten into the units which made it very difficult for the guys to pack them up. It ended up taking two crews. They all remained professional and cheerful, though drenched. I then used them again this June. This time just 1 18' slide for my family visiting, ages 5-9. It was the hottest day of the year and the littles played on the slide for hours without stopping. Next time I may go smaller because they picked up some good speed and would occasionally get sore when their arms would rub against the stitching or velcro. Staff is very friendly. Timing for setting up and picking up always works out. You can order online or by phone. Staff will call and email you to confirm the order, setup time, delivery results, and pickup time. All the bases are covered.

And so, I decided on throwing my baby's party at Bishop Museum's great lawn. With that said, I needed to find a tent company that could supply tables, chairs, and lighting for that amount of guests. Hawaii Tents & Events happened to be the best option especially for the price paid. Other tent companies I researched would have charged easily over $5,000 (without tax) and one company even quoted me close to $10,000. With Hawaii Tents & Events, I did pay a little under $5,000. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The tents, tables and chairs weren't in the best condition but they weren't bad looking either. I did knock off a star because my communication with Tracey (Director of Sales & Marketing), though not the worst, was also not the greatest. Over the phone, she seemed really nice. It was just, at times, it was hard to get a hold of her. I didn't get responses as quick as I would have liked, especially when it came down to figuring out the layout of everything. A lot of my other vendors were dependent on the final layout and some decisions throughout my party planning had to be held off longer than I would have wanted. The mediocre communication, however, would not keep me from booking with them in the future. Their prices really cannot be beat!

About a week after my reservation, Daniel called me and confirmed my rental. I did not know the exact date yet because I did not get my permit for Ala Moana Beach Park. So he saved two dates for me and I told him i would call him that week to re-confirm. I called back to re-confirm and got my deposit down of $50. I mentioned that I had the Hawaii Parent coupon and he gave me a discount on top of the sale. He then sent me digital contract. The day of my sons party, Tito set up the huge pirate ship with two helpers. They came right on time and set up the bouncer very quickly. Tito asked me if the position of the bouncer was where I wanted it and made sure that I was happy on the set up. After they finish setting up the bouncer they went inside and whipped everything down and then tito had me sign the contract that they dropped off the bouncer and they already had my card on file so that saved me some trouble of getting my card again and etc. The only reason it was shy of a star was that the generator stopped working about 3 times but it did go back on again. All those times I had kids in there that were freaking out and screaming adults panicking and so forth. I don't understand why it went down but I called Daniel the 3rd time and told him what happened. He told me he was going to send one of his guys out to see the problem and if they needed to switch the generator out. Tito came and checked on it and reassured us that if it happened again, that i call him directly. So he gave me his cell number and apologized and from then on there were no problems. I would definitely use them again, my quests kept telling me they had so much fun and wanted me to take it home. Haha until next time!
