Reserved a date through their website for the Pirate Ship Bouncer. I can't believe how easy it was to reserved the date, just filled out the information. About a week after my reservation, Daniel called me and confirmed my rental. I did not know the exact date yet because I did not get my permit for Ala Moana Beach Park. So he saved two dates for me and I told him i would call him that week to re-confirm. I called back to re-confirm and got my deposit down of $50. I mentioned that I had the Hawaii Parent coupon and he gave me a discount on top of the sale. He then sent me digital contract. The day of my sons party, Tito set up the huge pirate ship with two helpers. They came right on time and set up the bouncer very quickly. Tito asked me if the position of the bouncer was where I wanted it and made sure that I was happy on the set up. After they finish setting up the bouncer they went inside and whipped everything down and then tito had me sign the contract that they dropped off the bouncer and they already had my card on file so that saved me some trouble of getting my card again and etc. The only reason it was shy of a star was that the generator stopped working about 3 times but it did go back on again. All those times I had kids in there that were freaking out and screaming adults panicking and so forth. I don't understand why it went down but I called Daniel the 3rd time and told him what happened. He told me he was going to send one of his guys out to see the problem and if they needed to switch the generator out. Tito came and checked on it and reassured us that if it happened again, that i call him directly. So he gave me his cell number and apologized and from then on there were no problems. I knew I wanted a bouncer, but figured I'd find no one with this theme. Lo and behold....they had this theme (they were the only ones out of 5 that I called)! They also had summer specials so I saved a little money. Everything from start to finish was smooth. We hired Ohana Bounce for our son's 5th Birthday party last summer at Kapiolani Park and I'm so glad we did. After researching the endless party businesses in Hawaii Parent Magazine, my BF was sold on Ohana Bounce's packages. Bouncy house, tables, chairs, a tent, shave ice machine and cotton candy machine for one low price. They were by far the best bang for your buck. Daniel and his crew already had everything set up by the time we got to Kapiolani Park at 8:30 AM. After showing us how the machines worked, he thanked us for our business and said he'd see us later for break down. Our son was very happy with his Spongebob bouncy house and the items we rented were of great quality. It's already difficult enough planning a 5 year old's birthday party, but working with Ohana Bounce made it a lot easier. Ohana Bounce set our 2-year old up for his birthday party yesterday at Magic Island. This was our first time getting a park permit and renting a bounce house and Daniel, the owner, was extremely helpful throughout the process, giving me tips on which picnic sites were the best for our purposes and what equipment to rent. All of the equipment was better than expected. The generator was quieter than the other ones I have heard at the park (it was pretty quiet actually), the Cars combo bounce house we rented was immense and very very clean, and everything was set up on time and in great condition. We also rented a 20x20 canopy, tables and chairs. The prices were quite reasonable and the quality could not be beat. I believe he said the bounce house could handle 1200 pounds. It was so much fun, we are thinking of just renting one for the adults next time! With all those kids, we couldn't really jump in there a lot. Thanks to Ohana Bounce for making our kid's birthday party a huge success. (One side not -- plan on having to pull all the kids out when it is time to take the house down, because inevitably, several of them will not leave on their own.) read more

These guys are amazing. Not only did they come on time, they came about 15 minutes before the scheduled time. Also, before just setting up anywhere, these planned out exactly where, facing what direction and everything with you in person before setting up. They also gave clear instructions as to how to use the cotton candy machine. The equipment was in terrific condition and felt very clean. Tear down was painless and stress free. Again, I have to stress that they came on time - when I said 9am-3pm, it was done. I talked to Daniel a couple months ago to reserve everything and he was very friendly and helpful. Very professional. Everything was done securely online, paperwork signing and all. It was the EASIEST thing to do for my daughter's 1st birthday (and it was a huge hit with the kids b/c they loved the slide + basketball hoop inside). You provide your own plastic ball, just fyi. Overall, it really is "Whoohoo! As good as it gets!" I would recommend this company to anyone and everyone. The prices are reasonable and I would honestly book Ohana Bounce again. I find it hard to believe the negative reviews here. I've got a bounce house twice from them (in 2012 and 2013). The first time was at Magic Island (they were one of the only approved companies because they carry insurance to be in a County park for a permit) and the second time was at the Ewa Train park. Both times they were on time AND the service was so good even the Ewa Train park folks thought they were exemplary in customer service. We will use them again. Definitely. read more

Delivery was 3 hours late and pick up was 45 minutes late with no courtesy call. I was told by the owner there would be no charge and I would be refunded my money. However, the following day, another charge for $239.79 was made by the company and the original $167.54 was still not refunded! Calls and emails were not returned, and when I did reach the owner, all he could tell me was that it was a mistake! How does a mistake like that happen? We'll see how fast they resolve this issue. This business is truly amazing!! We came from the mainland to get married and attend the USC game at Aloha Stadium afterwards where we wanted to have a tailgate reception. What better place, right?? We are so disappointed the way we were treated by Ohana Bounce. We rented from them for my baby's 1st birthday party last year, and there were no issues, awesome customer service from Jackie, and fair pricing. So we decided to rent from them again for her 2nd birthday party this past Saturday. I called a month in advance to make the reservation and again got fair pricing from a gentlemen and it seemed everything was set. I was advised we would receive and invoice to confirm the bouncer. A week before my event I noticed I still haven't received anything from them, so i called to follow up. The gentlemen assured me it was confirmed and he will send an invoice and we could pay upon delivery. I received the invoice and thought it was all ok. The DAY OF our event I tried calling them to pay and to confirm the drop off time, but there was no answer. Both my husband and I called them, left messages and texted but no response was ever heard back. They did not show up to deliver the bouncer, no call was ever returned and we had to scramble around to find someone an hour before our event! So unprofessional and very disappointing for a company I thought was so reliable. This was the only thing we had for the kids and the fact no one had the courtesy to call us and say something went wrong or it was not confirmed was so messed up. read more

My daughters first birthday party was on 5/21 and we were extremely excited and had made a reservation with Ohana Bounce for a bouncer over a month in advance. On the 17th, just 4 days before the party I received a call at 8:00pm and the lady on the line informed me that they would not be able to fulfill my order for the bouncer due to staffing issues. I asked her why that was and being that it was so close to the party if she knew who I would be able to book a bouncer through on such short notice. Unfortunately she was of no help and kept on saying "don't worry you'll get your deposit back". The money was the least of my concerns, I needed a bouncer! This company's owner is very unprofessional and I highly advise people NOT to rent from them! I rented a bouncer for 8 hours and half way through my rented time, the generator stopped because there was no gas! I talked to the owner (Daniel) and he told me that all he could do was give me back $35 for the generator. That's it! He couldn't even give me half because it only worked for half the time I payed for! On top of that, he hung up the phone on me and when I tired calling back he cleared my calls. Pros: Owner was nice and responsive Cons: Receptionist is sassy and defensive as hell! Blamed us for the problems that the owner himself acknowledged. Then she refused to put me in touch with the owner because she knew I would ask him to address her dispicable attitude. BEWARE! If you are renting a facility (like any military pavilions) that don't allow stakes in the ground, DO NOT trust them. They staked the ground after I specifically told them no stakes. At first the receptionist said if it was too windy, they wouldn't put it up because the sandbags wouldn't hold as well as the stakes. But in the end, they put up the bounce house and staked it anyway. Then they hid it under the sandbags. When we notified the owner, he said the workers should have known better and he was sorry. But when we later spoke to the receptionist, she gave so much attitude and treated us like we did something wrong. When I asked to speak to the owner again, she refused. BOUNCE HOUSE COLLAPSED! At first we thought the kids were doing something wrong (like leaning against the side), but it collapsed because of a faulty blower. Owner apologized and replaced the blower. But by then the party was half done. Also the receptionists attitude was horrible when trying to resolve the issue. I've used this company many times with no problem, and honestly I might have used them again. But as you can probably tell, the receptionist's attitude was so horrible and she treated us so bad the I would NEVER trust them again. She treated us like WE did something wrong. First of all reserving with them was easy! The delivery was excellent! It was more than what I expected. They cleaned that bounce house as if it was for their own party! Now for the bad... Time for pick up was at 4pm, half hour later no show! Started to call and no answer! Called a few times, still no answer! Finally got in touch with their office and that wasn't any help, because they didn't know where their crew was! They finally came right before 6pm! The only thing they said when they got there was "this you guys? You can go." Two different guys came to pick it up. So I left! I didn't sign anything, and they didn't ask for payment! I was supposed to pay cash! They automatically charged my card for a 2nd transaction which they had NO authorization to do! Called the next day and they said I can come down and pay it. Really inconvenient! And she said she could give me a 10% discount. Ok whatever, I guess even that small amount was something! Then a few days later I believe his name was Ryan (not sure) called and gave me a bigger refund. His service was excellent, and he also was the person who dropped off the bouncer. If it was on him and him alone I would have gave 5 stars, but because of the rest of my experience ohana bounce only gets 2! Awesome!!! I recently held a children's Halloween party for the Family Readiness Group of a ship at Pearl Harbor and called Daniel at Ohana Bounce. He returned my call right away, kept in touch with me the days leading up to the party, and was overall so nice and on top of things. Planning a party can be really stressful and it was so great not to have to worry about the bounce house. (Which at a children's party is very, very important!) The delivery guys who came to set the bounce house up were friendly and right on time for delivery and the pickup. But what really impressed me the most was after they set the bounce house up, I looked outside to see them vacuuming the bounce house inside and spraying and wiping everything down! I have NEVER, EVER seen a company do that and I have rented a lot of bounce houses! I was totally shocked (in a great way).
