A recent update to my last review last year - still FIVE STARS! Their website is easy to navigate to find the menu of options based on balloon sculpture art, face painting and their hourly prices or packages. When booking online I always get a response within the day either confirming or letting me know they are already booked. I really appreciate that! We just hosted a birthday party for my 4 year old granddaughter and 60 guests and were happy to have balloon artist Gideon return! Gideon is always on time, comes 20-30 min ahead of time to set up, brings his own extension cord for outlet, and is prepared with all tools, supplies and signage. He has a nice picture board showing all the designs both classic and new that may appeal to your guests, young and old alike! This year the popular item was a balloon purse holding a puppy! But he also did some beautiful large Unicorns, cute backpacks, swords, and I saw many other colorful creations! We reserved him for two hours and he sculpted about 50-60 art within that time frame. The prices are so reasonable and you really get the best bang for your buck because he is always the WOW of the party! Gideon is VERY professional, dresses nice, easy set up and is patient with the children. Their entire family is involved in this business so no matter which artist comes to your party, you will be thrilled and so will your guests! Mahalo to Gideon, Jimmie and Amber for many years of having our corporate guests, public event attendees and now our personal parties be amazing! See you for granddaughter's 5th next year and a new grandson his 2nd! read more

NOW, THIS IS TALENT! WOW!! After seeing the creativity and talent from Adventure Balloons, you can't help but feel a little jipped by other entertainers... those clowns. Hahaha, jk! Seriously tho, I'm not trying to be mean, but MAN! Those other companies don't even compare. My brother and I were in absolute awe at my nephew's 1st birthday party this past Saturday. Adventure Balloons definitely made the party! I'd say the only thing that rivaled them was the spectacular view... because OMG, I was melting! Oahu Country Club is GORGEOUS!!!! Once everyone saw the first intricate balloon design, the kids AND adults were lining up to get their hands on one! I even saw one of the moms walking past my table with a full on ladybug outfit. Like... this ain't no ordinary clown show, y'all! I swear, if I could've thought of a character or design I loved on the spot, I would've asked them to make one for ME! Unfortunately, I didn't get the best pictures of my nephew's balloons because these dudes cannot stay still. They're 3 & 5 - you go ahead and try telling them to stay still! Lol -- the person making the balloons was so friendly, playful, and patient btw. We were chatting with him while he was hard at work. Stellar job, Jimmie! (I think that was you haha) The Luigi w/mushroom and Pikachu were SO cute! The creativity, detail, and precision that went into these designs were seriously impressive. Highly recommend Adventure Balloons for your next family party! Trust me - the kids will LOVE them, and honestly, the adults will be just as entertained watching what they create! 10/10 creativity & definitely a highlight of the party! read more

I would highly recommend Amber and her crew! They came on time and set up quietly amid all the chaos of us scrambling to set up the hall! They were absolutely amazing. It is well worth the money! I definitely would hire them for my next function. Note: We did not,get any pictures. However all my guests were raving about the face painting, the balloons and the Photo Booth. Thank goodness I have drive from the Photo Booth! read more

I live in Los Angeles and threw a party for my son's 1st birthday in Hawaii-- I must say that Jimmy is the hands down best balloon artist I have encountered, and I have seen a lot of talented balloon twisters. His creations were above and beyond with flashing lights, entire rainbows, headbands, he made a super cute flower to tie on my lei, rocket backpacks, apaand my son was enamored by the fish on a pole and baseball and bat. I have just never seen some of the creations, and it was really fun. To top it off, Jimmy is extremely kind, pleasant, and great with kids. It was truly the best entertainment money I've ever spent at a party. I highly recommend Jimmy-- Don't hesitate booking adventure balloons. read more

I booked them for my son's 1st birthday party and they were such a hit. The kids were walking away with balloons that were so detailed and personable, there were so many options for the airbrush tattoos which were colorful and bright, and the photo booth was amazing. They are very professional, and have great customer service. If you are thinking about booking them for your events, just do it! You won't be disappointed. read more

We have been so fortunate to have Adventure Balloons be a part of our biggest and most memorable family events. We also run into them at many large community events, and every time, they impress us all over again. They are truly the best balloon company I have ever seen! Jimmie is incredible -- he can literally make anything. On top of that, he and the team have the most engaging, fun energy and always go out of their way to make your balloon dreams come true. One of my favorite memories was an impromptu New Year's Eve during a storm. Jimmie happened to have his balloons with him, and to keep us entertained he started creating right on the spot. To test the limits, our friend requested a purple polka-dotted hippo wearing a bikini, grass skirt, and playing the ukulele... and he made it! Perfectly! I highly recommend hiring Adventure Balloons for any event you have coming up. They always bring magic, joy, and unforgettable creations. read more

We loved working with Adventure Balloons. They were responsive to email and it was simple to confirm our date and pay the deposit. Day of party, they arrived early to set up and were ready to go as soon as our 2 hour block started. The staff are great and they definitely know how to manage the long lines and make small talk with the kids. The chaos of kids running around them didn't even phase them and everyone enjoyed the balloon art and airbrush tattoos! It was totally worth it to hire Adventure Balloons and would highly recommend! read more

Hired Adventure Balloons for my daughter's 3rd birthday party. They responded quickly and had good communication. They arrived on time and setup accordingly. Amber and Jim were great with the kids. The kids really loved all the cool balloon designs. Jim did everything from animals to butterfly wings kids could wear and much more. We ordered the face paint and balloon package, which was $600 for 2 hours. They are not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. Little high on the price but didn't have any complaints besides that. Overall, good people and good service. read more

I first discovered Adventure balloons at my nephews birthday early this year and I was very impressed. I stood in line with my daughter and shortly after it was our turn. I met Ivan and he was super friendly. What stood out about him was that he enjoyed making balloons for the kids. He didn't look like he was struggling and he made a lot of cool balloon art which most clowns never make. I eventually went online and gave them a call to book my reservation. I spoke with AMBER and was very professional and nice. The day of my daughters party I met GIDEON (Ivan's brother) He was just as nice, friendly, and talented like Ivan. I HIGHLY suggest you book Adventure balloons, they won't let you down read more

When I think of balloon artists, I flashback to that Steve Martin movie "Parenthood" where he dons a cowboy outfit, fumbles with a bunch of balloons and proudly holds up an unrecognizable mess aloft and yells "your lower intestines" to the delight of his young audience including the son he so desperately wants to please. It's a sweet and funny moment, but balloon artist Steve Martin is not! Adventure Balloons on the other hand are the zen masters of balloon creations! It's pretty darn impressive when the balloon artist is SO GOOD that children and adults alike are clapping their hands when he finishes a balloon design, and some wish they could have his job. My friend hired Adventure Balloons for her daughter's first birthday party and the young guy making the balloon art had us all fascinated as he cranked out one amazing design after another -- a sailboat, choo choo train, a monkey hanging on a palm tree, Arial the Mermaid, Minnie Mouse, Nemo, an octopus, a horse, a bouquet of flowers with a teeny red ladybug, an Angry Bird and angry Pig, a panda hanging on to a bamboo shoot (mine, all mine!), a lizard, a butterfly, a scary monster, and perhaps (to me anyway) the piece de resistance -- a basketball hoop system with the pole, backboard, hoop and basketball. WOW! Both kids and their parents were in line waiting (im)patiently for their turn to ask the young Jedi balloon master to make us this and that. Best of all, if a balloon popped or, as in some cases, deflated ... balloon man was there to make a fix. Kids were happy, parents were happy. It's all good! read more

This is the third birthday party that I've been to that had the Adventure Balloons! I'm always impressed by the balloon maker with all the various balloon art! From making a head balloons: Thor, reggae dreadlocks and whacky headbands; to animals and cartoon characters; and lots of fun weapons balloons from hammers to swords to flame throwers. Such great fun to see the look on the old and young when given their completed balloons! Friendly staff both with the balloon and spray paint art. Tons of stencils to choose from and mixing the colors! Love the Minions and Baymax balloons!! read more

WOW!!!! I was AMAZED!!! Today, I went to a 1st birthday party. There was a balloon artist there! Adventure Balloons! The young guy was incredibly talented and had a nice charm about him! He made the most creative and huge creations that I've EVER seen! And believe me, I've been to a TON of kid events and birthday parties. When kid would ask for things, he'd go above and beyond to make it extra special! It wasn't just your typical little sword or flower or animal. He made a Huge fish (with teeth even!) on a fishing pole. He made a 5 year old girl a super cute horse that could wrap around her waist like a beach toy raft! He made a little animal in a basket looking thing! My baby asked for "Rocket" from Little Einsteins, and I showed him a photo of Rocket, and he made it for him! Another little guy asked for a gun, and he created a bazooka pack! And a crazy cool octopus with long wiggly tentacles! (see my photo!) He used bigger than normal balloons. Fancy printed balloons. And he was real friendly and always made the kids laugh... Not the typical boring, quiet guy standing there twisting your kid's balloons! I wish I knew of them when we planned our boy's parties! If you want something out of the typical, and someone who has personality, and takes the time to create something EXTRA SPECIAL for all your party guests, I'd definitely recommend Adventure Balloons!!! read more

We had them for our baby's first birthday party and we are so happy they were part of our special day. Ambers personal touch in providing several templates for the photo booth reassured me that this event was as important to her as it was important to me. She managed the photo booth at the event and made sure everyone had a great time dressing up, getting silly...or not...then there's Jimmie the balloon artist! He made unicorns, some were rideable like a swim ring, fruit basket hats, magic wands with flashing lights, the list goes on. The highlight was when he made a motorcycle for a 2 year old. The huge smile on the toddler's face made it all worth it! An airplane for our adult pilot...yes, the adults were standing in line for a balloon also! We highly recommend them for your special day! read more

Went to a 1st bday party the end of August at Pearl Country Club. Whoodathunk that the highlight of the party would be the Balloon Guy?! Sitting at my table, nibbling at my edamame, and I see some kid (don't even remember if it was a girl or boy--that's how distracted I was) zoom by me with what looked like a backpack strapped to him around his shoulders--but it was made from balloons! To go along with his pack, was a laser gun AND a sword! What the--?! I must be seeing things... Then I see another faceless child with a fishing pole, with a fish dangling from it (complete with fish lips, mind you), and BUBBLES!!! All from balloons! Then I see Spiderman...Hello Kitty...some crazy a$$ hats...and at this point my 11-year old step-daughter is practically pulling me out of my chair to find the creator of this madness. Naturally, he wasn't hard to find...I mean, no one was standing in line for the candy bar. We stood for a few minutes and our girl tried to come up with the one thing her heart would most desire...which is really tough to do when you're watching Balloon Creator Extraordinaire continuously top his creations, child after child. I secretly really wanted him to make me chastity belt or something crazy...just to see if he could do it. She settled on a Smurf. And wouldn't you know it, we managed to stump him. Smartphone to the rescue! He googles it, hit Images, and voila! He quickly starts blowing, tying, tearing, and flipping blue and white balloons together to make her a Smurf. Did you catch that--he's never done one before and just magically figured it out. Now that's talent, y'all. I picked up his card because I'm SURE I can find an excuse to use this guy...Jimmie Whitworth, you are a ballooning fool, and I can't wait to see you in action again. Google image: Chastity belt. =) read more

When I hired Adventure Balloons for my daughter's first birthday party, I figured the guy would make your typical dog, sword, monkey in a tree, etc. Boy, was I wrong. Chris was a balloon twisting phenomenon. If they gave out awards for balloon twisting, the kid would get a freaking Pulitzer. He made a Pikachu, huge fishes on fishing poles, Muno & Foofa from Yo Gabba Gabba, Ni Hao Kai Lan; the list goes on & on. My cousin even asked him to make BJ Penn as a joke...which Chris quickly pulled off, without a second's hesitation. EVERYONE was asking where I got my balloon guy from. Chris was definitely the highlight of my daughter's party. If you're in need of entertainment for an event, get in touch with Adventure Balloons. You won't be disappointed. It was worth every penny. read more

Jimmie and Rebecca serviced my daughter's birthday party this weekend. They were both amazing!!! I received a confirmation email from Amber a few days before the event. She sent me the artists' names and phone numbers and what time to meet them at the gate (The event was on a military base) Jimmie and Rebecca were punctual and ver friendly. They arrived a few minutes before their scheduled time. They were set up and ready to go in a few short minutes and immediately started rocking the party. Jimmie was the most talented balloon artist I have seen and Rebecca was awesome with the spray tattoos. Everyone at the party loved them both. They entertained both young and old and my daughter's birthday party was a success. I highly recommend their services. read more

Chris came to my son's first bday luau and was the STAR of the whole day. He is a balloon genius and the kids went crazy over his magical balloon creations. My friend tipped me off to these guys. She is a balloon artist herself and says the Adventure Balloon brothers are the BEST. Super talented brothers...must run in the family. They're also really NICE to the kids. That's not always the case. Reliable, pleasant, and fun. He made a huge motorcycle, a monkey in a palm tree twice (party theme was monkeys) and lots more. He made a birthday crown for my son right before he left, which was a nice added touch! read more

We took our girls to a first birthday luau a few days ago. Adventure Balloons was there making some very creative balloon creatures: guns, swords, bows and arrows for the boys; Hello Kittys, Little Mermaids, Minnie Mouse ears for the girls; elephants, octopi, monkeys and more. Their repertoire of balloon creations was impressive. They were fast, patient and friendly with the kids. They definitely kept everyone (the kids and adults alike) entertained all evening. These guys were excellent. For the amount of kids we had at my Son's birthday party, they made it work! I scheduled 1 balloon artist and 1 airbrush artist. Would definitely hire them again. read more

Customer Service: I found it very easy to book a date, after communicating strictly via email (like all working moms, I didn't have time to call with all my questions.) I saw Iron Man and the Incredible Hulk, rocket packs, octopuses, etc. He was very personable, professional and well worth it!!! I would definitely hire him again!
