I started hiring Adventure Balloons- Jimmie, Amber and Ivan 20 years ago when I did events for a large bank. They are always a hit with keiki, adults and Kupuna because of their amazing skills to turn ordinary balloons into a beautiful sculpture either to wear on your head, arm, wrist, back, carry around and pretty much anything you can think of. Easy to contact online and they confirm right away. Price per hour is more than reasonable and well worth it because they are always always always the hit of the party! The kids really loved all the cool balloon designs. Jim did everything from animals to butterfly wings kids could wear and much more. We ordered the face paint and balloon package, which was $600 for 2 hours. They are not the cheapest but also not the most expensive. When I think of balloon artists, I flashback to that Steve Martin movie "Parenthood" where he dons a cowboy outfit, fumbles with a bunch of balloons and proudly holds up an unrecognizable mess aloft and yells "your lower intestines" to the delight of his young audience including the son he so desperately wants to please. Went to a 1st bday party the end of August at Pearl Country Club. Whoodathunk that the highlight of the party would be the Balloon Guy?! Sitting at my table, nibbling at my edamame, and I see some kid (don't even remember if it was a girl or boy--that's how distracted I was) zoom by me with what looked like a backpack strapped to him around his shoulders--but it was made from balloons! To go along with his pack, was a laser gun AND a sword! What the--?! I must be seeing things... Then I see another faceless child with a fishing pole, with a fish dangling from it (complete with fish lips, mind you), and BUBBLES!!! All from balloons!
