Love this store- (this street in General too) the staff are very into fashion so you get really great advice. There is a great sale section on the right side which is fun to find pieces you might have missed from the season for a deal! Service was absolutely incredible! I just came back from a trip to Europe where I got a little excited and bought the wrong size. oopsie! But I called them up and explained my situation and they held the right size for me until I was able to make it up on the weekend. The Jackson Square neighborhood reminds me of a cool enclave of New York City. Brought me back a little bit. Anyway, the space is beautiful and bright, reminds me of an art gallery. I usually get intimidated with being in such fancy spaces. I saw very pretty hoop earrings with blue glass beads but I for the life of me could not get them on! The salesperson was very patient with me and checked on me. After 15 minutes of trying, I just couldn't get them on. Then I tried another pair of earrings that had the prettiest peridot stones threaded on. I decided to get these. Everything in their store looks like art. So each piece you buy is like collecting a piece of art! They were so nice to me and patient. I was FaceTiming my Mom to show her the earrings to get another opinion and they humored me. The earrings came in a box and a little bag and they even gave me a cloth bag to carry it all in. I had a unique experience and it was a fun outing during the rainy day in the city. read more

If I could leave zero stars I would. Perhaps the rudest customer experience I've ever experienced at a "Designer Label" store. Three associates in an empty store, all who were too busy on their phones to greet us. Then after being in the store for a mere two minutes, the manager I presume (caucasian lady with short hair) asks us, "Are you guys actually shopping or just hanging around?" Never experienced such rude service with such a ludicrous question like that. As a repeat customer, I will never be shopping here nor spending any of my hard earned money with Isabel Marant if this is the standard for their business. read more

The guy working Thursday was amazing! I came here to return my online order and to pick up another item I've been eyeing for a long time. He was helpful, kind, and really nice. The store is amazing. Perfectly chic and unassuming. The store is located in a quaint little neighborhood that reminds me of New York! I personally love their sweaters, knitwear, and floral, feminine dresses. I'm current eyeing one of their canvas bags. He packed my order with lots of care and included a cute cotton tote bag. So glad Isabel Marant has a location in the city and close by! read more

Thanks to the search on Google, I discovered a local Isabel Marant boutique in San Francisco! I was in search of the Milly sweater and gave the boutique a call on Saturday morning to avoid driving over if they didn't have the sweater. Just my luck, they had the sweater and options for sizes! The employees were genuinely friendly and helpful. There was no one in the shop and both provided me the attention and help I was looking for. They pulled out all the color ways along with several sizes so that I could get my fit. They checked up on me and provided their input which I appreciated. All in all, I enjoyed my quick shop at the boutique! read more

The selection is limited and when I was there last, they had a strict NO returns policy for in-store purchases which really puts them at a disadvantage when competing with online shops with flexible returns. I think this store also operates as a returns hub for their online store, otherwise I'm not sure how they stay in business. read more

I would select zero stars but unfortunately that is not an option. My last (and forever final visit) to the San Francisco Isabel Marant store should be titled as "the death of customer service" or perhaps "the finality of human decency." In an age where any buyer could simply shop online, you would presume that companies would staff their respective locations with exceptional employees. - even competent - but that was nowhere in the cosmic stratosphere from the two associates I had the displeasure of interacting with. The only reason to ever visit a boutique now in person would be exceptional customer service. Apparently this is something isabel Marant will no longer provide. After some research, I have found that one associate has only ever worked in outlets and the other actually had no retail experience at all. I would like to say that I am surprised - however - I experienced a very similar situation at the Melrose store last year. I recently came across an article in WWD where the Isabel Marant company was boosting about making a 3 million profit. It is quite clear to me that none of this budget has gone to its staff members. I have let all of my friends know, that Isabel is a place we will no longer shop. read more

Let me start by saying that I've shopped at this location and I always get great customer service. The store has a selection from the current collection and sometimes from previous collections. The staff is always friendly and caring. I was previously helped by Serge he made me feel so welcome, great to talk to, truly a great shopping experience. During this time I requested an item through store pick-up, Katie assisted me with the sale and she was wonderful. She was helpful, attentive and suggested additional items that I wasn't aware of the newest men's collection. She made my shopping hassle-free and went above and beyond, making me comfortable specially during this stressful times we are dealing with. She was exceptional all the way through, keep the great work. I trust Isabel Marant knows the valuable assets they have, I will definitely come back again and again to this location for their great customer service! read more

Beautiful new SF opening of an Isabel Marant -French house of fashion - store. I've only seen other locations in LA and NYC. A beautiful space in the bottom corner of the Hotaling building and was once known as the largest whiskey repository on the West coast! The space is beautiful with sectioned white wooden panels everywhere and ample fluorescent tube lighting. I really hope more boutiques join and revitalize the Jackson square space, but Isabel Marant is here! Cheers! read more

I had an issue with a purchase and was trying to work with a gentleman that was the most argumentative and rude person I have ever dealt with in a retail store experience. The amount of attitude and unhelpful interaction that I experienced is beyond any acceptable level of working with customers that are purchasing quality items. I am so shocked that this store operates with someone with this attitude. My quality issue isn't really resolved, the woman who initially helped my was nice and helpful and it's so disappointing the follow up service by the gentleman. He basically wanted me to get lost, well I'll never be back here with someone so rude and unhelpful. If you can't provide kind customer service then get out of this type of job. read more

Love this quiet location far removed from the hustle and bustle of Union Square, overrun with tourists. You would have no idea that a store was here as it is a very low trafficked area. Serge is the best! I don't know how he puts up with me. I stop by on the regular, raid their champaign and sparkling water, and text him all the time. Like any good symbiotic relationship, Serge keeps me buzzed and happy as I fill up my closet, and I try my best to only stop by no more than 3 times a month. read more

Soft opening as store hasn't officially opened. -Great customer service. Staff is attentive, chill and helpful. -Decor: interior has lots of natural light and high ceilings. Feels like being in an exhibit at the MoMA. -Clothes: known for shoes but good selection of shirts, jackets and skirts. Sales associate said more clothes to come in as they prepare for grand opening. -Neighborhood: Jackson Square is the new "it" place. It's similar to Maiden Lane in Union Square but on a larger scale and not compromising its European charm. read more

Bree is amazing. I attended a shopping event at Isabel Marant and saw someone wearing a skirt that I absolutely adored. I searched high and low online and at other local boutiques who carry IM. But the skirt was no longer available anywhere. Bree totally went out of her way and found the skirt for me. I'm so happy to have this awesome skirt in my wardrobe! Thank you Bree! Lovely store in a cute, quiet part of town. The store is much more spacious and bright compared to other IM boutiques (e.g. New York). The sales associate who helped me was wonderful -- sweet, helpful, and not pushy at all unlike at some higher-end stores. She informed me that the store typically gets new shipments on Tuesdays. Also, I've seen a couple of items here that I wasn't able to find online or at any other retailers that stock Isabel Marant, so be sure to look out for those goodies! read more

Store is gorgeous, well stocked as it should be! Amazing to have one of the few Isabel stores in SF and in such a cool neighborhood. Staff is chill, but maybe too chill? I want them to love the clothes and be as excited as I am about IM. However, staff was on their phones the entire time and seemed less than enthused to help me. I'll definitely return if I have to, but will shop elsewhere with better customer service first. read more
