Paid off my Ironside PC at the end of June, which marks the two year point since I purchased the PC from Ironside. Only thing I have upgraded since the purchase is bought a couple more SSDs & added RGB fans in the case. Have not had any issues whatsoever with the PC I purchased. PC runs most of my games in full 1080p @ 60 frames per second. Could not be any happier with my purchase. read more

They tell him to send it back. No big deal! it's been 3 months without a computer. They do not care how much he needs the computer to work. EDIT: Received the computer back and the issue has still been exactly the same. This company wishes for new to yet again ship the computer to them as if this is supposed to do something for me. Honestly if you have an issue with the company for any reason you're probably better off not even bothering to contact them and just seek out a resolution in court or with better business. This company will not bother to truly help you. The experience I have had with the repairs to my system has been truly terrible. After 5 months of having this computer be repaired my issues have still not been resolved. As I now am repackaging the computer to send back to this facility I have realized even repackaging the product is a headache as to have to empty the lifetime supply of packaging peanuts out of the outer box to get the inner box into the package. There are no words to fully express how disappointed I have been with this company. I can only look forward to the day that I do not have to do business with this company again TLDR: After sending my computer (that I've owned since 2021) back for repairs to my fans and upgrading my storage the computer returned with issues keeping a display on screen. I sent the computer back again and it returned with the same issue. Given that this process took 5 months I requested a refund and it was denied. We used them to purchase a new gaming computer for my son. It took a bit, but that's ok, I get what it takes to build these things. I'm actually not frustrated with this, but you should be prepared to wait. We booted it up, and all was great! It worked nicely for the build specs. Unfortunately, within 30 days it died. No real cause, just stopped working. We reached out to them for guidance. They provided us a series of steps to troubleshoot. We followed them, no success. We continued to engage between February and April 2021 and no luck. Eventually, the engagement just went cold. I finally called April 21, 2021 and asked them for a refund. They said their refund policy is 30 days and no exceptions. I asked to speak to a manager, but the manager told the agent no exceptions and wouldn't come to the phone. The agent, Noah, was a gentlemen considering how frustrated I am, but the managers inability to come forward and help and hide behind is agent is infuriating. We have had it close to 6 months, and 5 of those months have spent as a very large ornament on the shelf. Infuriating. Noah is doing what he can to make it right, and we're going to be sending it back to them to review. If the experience changes, I will come back and update here. read more

Ironside Computers ROCKS! I am a mom of a 14-year-old gamer and wanted to get him a new PC for Christmas. Had no clue where to start. My son pointed me to Ironside and from there it was a truly an awesome ride. I talked with Ethan via their online chat and he was extremely well versed, thoughtful, articulate, smart and steered me through all of the decisions that I needed to make. I asked a lot of Qs and he was very patient and was willing to spend as much time as I needed. It was late when I started the chat - but he stayed past their closing time to finish. True definition of customer support at a very high level. A few days later, I made a purchase, with great confidence. As the holiday approached, there was a chance that the computer was not going to arrive in time. It was to no fault of Ironside. Josh in customer service went out of his way to track down my package and change the method of shipping so that the package had no chance of arriving late. I could tell those guys were really working hard over the holidays but they were TOP NOTCH as really decent human beings. Building your own PC is seamless and very in-depth! The website is detailed so you know they aren't just trying to grab your money and go. Was able to pick exactly what I wanted. Unfortunately had to refund my order, but - shoutouts to Gable, the process was incredibly easy and he was very kind the whole while. Have only seen positive stories online, if you're willing to put in the effort to make yourself a great computer, they will help! Ordered the computer on weekend apparently on a weekend with back-end maintenance which caused some hiccups with my order. Fortunately it was sorted out rather quickly. The verification of my billing address took a few more days than i expected. Computer arrived in decent condition, a few case screws were denting in the back panel and one MOBO-to-standoff screw was inserted at angle which made it extremely difficult to get out while upgrading components. Ironside did not provide the necessary motherboard packaging for me to RMA the board to Asus as the ethernet port requires a driver reboot on computer boot in order to function. The overall build quality was very good despite the screw problem mentioned before. Cable management was a solid A-. The purchase spec I thought had 3200mhz but I received 3600, which is nice. The only reason I ordered from ironside over building myself was to get an RTX 30-series card for myself, snagging a 3060ti was quite the boon. Overall a really solid purchase that I'm mostly pleased with. Customer service was very responsive and helpful even though the management took what I felt was a bit long too long to verify my order. The order shipped within the day of verification and arrived 2 days ahead of schedule. read more

I love that the staff were wearing masks and...oops, wrong product :)))) I purchased computer from Ironside about 8 years ago. It has worked flawlessly. The packing for shipment was outstanding. They put foam blocks all thru the inside of the chassis as well as the outside. The cable wiring was well planned out and expertly done. I only had a couple of issues one minor and one major (the major issue was caused by me mishandling the wiring when I added a disc drive). Nevertheless ironside tech help was magnificent and cured my serious issue. It took awhile because I had really messed things up with wiring changes, but they were patient and really they guided me thru the cure. Which was nice because they did not have to do this as it was user error and I was past the warranty period too. Ironside offers more options and really important options on everything. For gaming you may need water cooling and overclocking and lots of additional fans in the case. Unlike many other sellers, this can easily be done at Ironside when configuring your computer. If you are unsure what is wise they offer lots of help before you buy by online chat. Wonderful! read more

After 4 weeks of waiting for my product, after I paid for express shipping, I found that the PC has arrived damaged. There was a memory problem, and when i contacted support and did exactly what they said, now the computer doesnt work at all. I used to build PCs. I didnt break this thing by being stupid. I did a simple RAM reseatting, one that i shouldnt have had to do in the first place, and now i have a $1400 paperweight. Thanks, Ironside. read more

As far as variety goes they are good. As far as computer go, not as good. I recently sent my PC into for an RMA process and tried to solve a simple hardware issue and see if they would replace any faulty parts. After weeks of waiting and hoping my first $2000+ PC would be ready to run some games, the same problem i specifically told them about occurred once again. I don't even think they did anything to "fix my PC." Sadly my PC can't even run simple games for too long otherwise my entire system freezes and all I can do is reset my system. Other than that the only thing they did manage to fix was my PC cases dedicated RGB button. I am honestly considering suing as I spent money on both the PC and the return shipping label... It is outrageous how i spent over $2k for this PC and it wont even play State of Decay 2... read more

So I decided to purchase a new computer and I ultimately decided to purchase from Ironside, they sold a computer that fit my needs and my budget. I bought the Artisan Silver, I need it so I can work from home(Adobe Illustrator Based Graphic Design), but I wanted it to be able to play Steam based games as well. Ironsides system makes the process easy if somewhat confined, you are led down very narrow paths as to what you can configure depending on the system you chose at the beginning. After purchasing which was late on a Friday, I was called on the following Monday and asked if I had any questions about my system, I did, and I asked if I could upgrade a part and I was allowed too for the regular price of the upgrade. The gentleman I spoke too was polite, knowledgeable, and helpful. He said he would send it on to be built. This is the not so great part, on the 14th of March the system said it was put in queue, on the 15th it said parts were being assembled, on the 16th it said it was being built, and on the 17th it said it was being quality controlled stress tested. That's awesome! I expected the following Monday to be told the Computer was being prepared for shipment with it being shipped the following Tuesday, I received nothing, for a week, then I call and ask is there a problem with my computer and the reply was"no, it's sitting waiting to be packed and the system says it will be shipped the following Monday". I am so pissed right now, because I didn't pay an extra 50.00 dollars to have the system sent within 5 business days, even though the computer was finished and ready to be shipped, they didn't ship it because if you don't pay the extra money, they say the system will be shipped within 10 business days and they are intentionally waiting the full 10 days. That is incredibly poor customer service. So instead of shipping it when it was ready, Ironside Computers decided to piss on me and regardless of what I think of the computer when it arrives, I will never recommend Ironside Computers to any of my friends or family. read more

Service that ends with the sale. Helpful and nice before the purchase. After buying the computer, I was having trouble installing a second LAN card. I emailed tech support and didn't hear anything back after 24 hours. I phoned them. I explained my problem and was told that since I didn't buy the LAN card from Ironside Computers they would give me less than full support. I'm running Ubuntu and was told they only gave support for Windows. There was someone who might know something about Ubuntu but he's on vacation. My problem has to wait until he comes back to work next week. And to add insult to injury, the rep kept repeating trite, stock phrases to appease me. They didn't. read more

I am updating this review, based on the computer itself. The computer is powerful and was very reasonably priced. Once the repair was made, it was delivered within 4 days and everything seems to be working properly. Below is my original review: (This review is based on the ordering experience. I will revise this review in a few weeks after we have used the computer.) My 14 year old daughter wanted a new computer, and I was going to buy from Dell. She did her research, and found Ironside computer. She showed me various positive reviews, and they seemed legit. We ordered a Minion PC back in early July 2015. We felt that we were getting a lot of computer for the money. They kept us updated on the status of the order, and we were notified when the PC went from staging, assembly, testing, and shipping. While it took longer than expected to ship the PC, we were excited when it finally shipped. Unfortunately, it arrived dead on arrival on Friday 8/7. Since they are closed on weekends, we had to wait until Monday to contact them. They did provide us with a shipping label to return the PC for repair. We shipped it back on 8/10, and we received it today on Friday, 8/21. Unfortunately, now the Windows Product Key isn't valid, so we can't activate windows and now have to wait until Monday for a reply. Disappointing! My daughter received a free Ironside Computers t-shirt, but she is so frustrated she won't even take it out of the package and wear it. I will update this review in a few weeks with a quick review of the computer itself. read more

So I order a replacement gaming computer for a build I did 2.5 years ago that my son is taking. I did my order with rush build and overnight shipping. I get the computer at 3:30 MST on Friday and am so excited to hook it up. I follow the VERY detailed unpacking and setup instructions. Plug it in and .... nothing, dead stick. I did call customer support but since they only work 8-4:30 CST, M-F, they were already closed. This thing is going back to them and I will just go back to self builds. Before this review I want to shout out Noah from customer service for doing such a great job. I bought an Limited edition Arcadia pc and wrote a 5 star review about 5 months ago. Since then I've had some issues that popped up with the pc. Ideally you have no issues of course. But I think what separates a good company from a bad one is how they correct mistakes and treat their customers when there is an issue. Ironside treated me and continues to treat me with excellent customer service. Noah , Alex Mike, and Nathan has had to deal with me constantly calling them with different concerns and issues and have never failed to fix the issue or do something to make the situation right. People always say building your own PC is cheaper so prebuilts are no good. But Ironside is the perfect example of why that isn't true. When you build your own PC you don't get this level of customer service and care. read more

Now I know i cannot speak for everyone, but when spending the amount of money on a Computer such as the one i had purchased I would expect it to arrived in working order. Instead I received a computer that, wont boot, display flickers on and off when it decided it wants to display anything, and then tells me to re install windows when it decides it wants to do something other than sit on a black screen. I'll have no issues coming back and editing my review once I've either been sent what ever replacement parts are needed or have been refunded my purchase. read more

Huge disappointment. Had a terrible experience with customer support. Was misled by their many likely endored facebook reviews. Computers are very overpriced for what their worth, website is unresponsive and buggy. At one point i contacted support offering them help with fixing a bug allowing for the purchase of a graphics card for free. Their response? to INCREASE the price of the original computer to even higher than before the reported bug. do not ever buy a computer from this company. if youre reading this right now, go somewhere else. even walmart would appreciate you more than this place. read more

TLDR: Good computer, took 2 months to get and another 2 weeks to fix faulty part it came with. The computer itself is wonderful when it's working. My issue is that when I first got it the thing worked for a month but one of the parts were faulty. It was likely the power supply, it was clearly under warranty still. But randomly the computer stopped turning on at all. So I called them and they made me pay to ship it back to them and provided me with a game for my inconvenience. The code for the game DIDNT even work and when i contacted them about it they sent me another code that was already redeemed. So I called them once again in which they told me that I have to deal with the company they get the codes from then if I wanted the game so badly. At that point I just accepted I wasnt getting that free game. All in all it took about 2 months from ordering the PC to get it, then it worked for about a month then I had to pay $30 extra to send it back to them because they gave me a faulty power supply which took them another two weeks to fix and send back. read more

I sent my PC back to be fixed and they told me I had a warranty, but when the computer arrived there they tried to get me to pay for the parts anyway. Then when they were going to ship it back they said the label I sent them (that I had already paid for) was not going to be used and they were going to ship with FED EX instead. Horrible customer service and laptop I was told I can return my laptop within 30 days for my money back and after they get it they try to tell me it's 20% fee and I have to pay for the shipping to them. After I've already sent it with a label they gave me. I've never actually thought I cared enough to write a review or sign up for yelp but I'll make an exception now. So now they have my laptop tell me I can have 80% of my money back and I pay the shipping fee which is gonna be over 100$ or I can pay for the shipping back to me. It's a scam. Within the first week my computer was causing issues. I was chalking it up to drivers so I kept slowly updating them one by one until I was very sure there was a hardware issue. No worries, defective parts happen so I understand. The company then emailed me saying they replaced my ram with used ram from another customers computer that also happened to be in for repairs. Again, started crashing after the first week. Send it back, with the promise of replacing many parts and spending extra time to troubleshoot the issue. They said it was the cpu cooler and the graphics card giving the issue. I got it back today, it is already crashing on a game that requires an old dual processor and a gtx660. I have a ryzen 2700x, 32 gigs of ram, and a gtx1070ti. So looks like I will be sending it back for more "troubleshooting" but by now I think the company is waiting for my one year warranty to be up until they no longer have to deal with me. I am out of a computer for weeks at a time and most of the time it is unusable completely. read more
