We were tired of looking at cement that had cracks, dull spots, and paint spray on it. It was just bland looking. So we decided to get a quote from IronDrive Garage Floors to have them Expoxy the floors. Brian Denham (Owner): I submitted a request for a quote via Yelp and Brian responded to me within minutes (I love that!). I do not like to wait so Brian and I were off to a great start. Brian came out within 24 hours, measured the garage floor and backyard patio to get sqft. He provided me with an estimate right then and there, on the spot (I love that!). Brian showed us 7 different samples of colors and the texture of the flooring. He was a super nice guy, professional, clean cut, respectable, and was very knowledgeable. Hired his company on the spot. Start Date/Turnaround Time: We received the quote on a Wed and they started and finished 48 hours later on a Friday. IronDrive Garage Floors was originally backed up by 1.5 months or so. I advised Brian I would rather start sooner than later and if he had anyone else cancel/reschedule, to please do whatever he could to bump us up. He texted me back a few hours later and said "someone else just rescheduled and I can get you in within 48 hours". Love it! QUALITY: WOW! I am so very happy with the outcome (see pictures of the before and after). I knew it was going to turn out good and better than old crappy cement look, but never did I realize how much of a difference our garage and backyard patio look. I now wish we would have done this a long time ago. Feels like we have a brand new garage and patio. Upscale, modern, and beautiful. Brian has been absolutely amazing to work with he did 1 garage floor me in 2019 and was getting ready to do another floor for me this year. The floor itself was not in great shape and although I had my contractor (not Brian & Co) try to fix it, at the end of the day it was not a good surface to epoxy, but instead of doing the work and charging me for it, Brian gave me a call and explain the situation, and how if it were him he would suggest going a different direction. Floor Prep They did a maticulous job grinding the old coating off all surfaces. They filled in gaps between the floor and stem wall. Floor Coating We chose Everest as the color and couldn't be happier with the coverage. They do a full broadcast to rejection meaning the floor is completely covered in chips. They were done right on time at 2pm (8 hour total job) by the next night it was cured and the smell has gone down significantly. I gave it an extra day to cure since it was cold and wet those days. Since then I have been building custom cabinets on the coating and haven't seen any wear or tear from dragging material and shop tools around. read more

Brian came by a few days before the install to show me color samples and go over my floor and the imperfections that would be addressed before the epoxy was applied. I also like that they use a polyaspartic sealant vs traditional polyurethane, which offers better UV stability and durability over time versus the latter. After seeing an IronDrive floor in my friends garage, I knew instantly that I wanted them to coat the floor in my garage. I've seen others, and the quality, texture, and finish of IronDrive Garage Floors is very High! Brian did an excellent job explaining the details and options of the two types of surface coatings being offered. I decided on the higher level coating because of the lifetime warranty and speed at which it dried. Being that my garage had 35 years of who knows what splashed onto the surface, I was thoroughly pleased that IronDrive was going to grind the surface layer of the concrete before sealing it with epoxy. No acid washing here, just fresh ground concrete to adhere to! Watching the installers work, was fascinating. The team of two knocked out my 2 1/4 car garage in 7 hours from arrival to departure. First we went over the project, then they went to work prepping the surface. After everything was ground to a fresh layer of concrete the epoxy went on. Even though the floor looked fantastic with just epoxy, they then spread the Carefree Tan chips over the entire epoxy surface, which not only adds another layer of protection, but also some texture (Which is great when the floor occasionally gets wet). Then they put a layer of chip sealer over the Carefree Tan chip surface. But they weren't finished yet! Lastly a top coat was rolled out. 4 layers of coatings, that is what makes IronDrive so superior to the other Epoxy coatings out there. You get what you pay for folks, however in my opinion, IronDrive is worth the extra cost (and it really isn't that much more, considering what you get in the end). I was walking on the floor 4 hours later and parking on it 24 hours after it was completed!
