Of course I don't love spending money with Service, but Steve is great to chat with about what I've felt and when it's normal or not normal to be concerned. When I don't have work to do when I'm there, I've always been able to take one of their demo bikes out to grab lunch when they're working on mine. I was able to get a steering dampener and a side case replaced under warranty with no problems. I would highly recommend these guys. Tell them what you need, and they will find you a solution.

It took him 17 days before he got it on the bench despite several phone calls asking the status. And then when he realized the job was more complicated than he had originally anticipated, rather than order the correct parts, he used old brake lines that he had lying around the shop. None of the brake lines fit correctly, nor were they the proper lengths (too long). So, it was impossible to route them correctly. One of the lines is red (originally black) So the improper routing is really obvious. They routed the front brake lines off the calipers in the opposite direction (180 degrees) from how they were originally routed. And then looped them around the fender. It just looks really unprofessional.

I dealt with TJ who over the phone was able to answer all of my questions, and give me advice and feedback on parts selection. Over the phone he took my order, and with most parts in stock he got them shipped to me quickly. I just got the box by Fedex and everything is there just as ordered. TJ and Riders Discount exceeded my expectations on price and service.

The car was clean and drove well during our test drive. Everything seemed to be working properly and we checked the carfax. We were happy with the purchase. Until now. I learned today that the tires on the 2015 car are likely the original tires and are (and have been for some time) unsafe to drive on the highway. The mechanic at the Subaru dealership told me that we're lucky we haven't had a blow out and gotten into and accident or hurt. We have taken this car on long trips already and a lot of that has been on highways-- I am so glad nothing has happened. But I am furious that Good felt comfortable selling us a car that is unsafe to drive. We have not put so many miles on this car in two months that we have worn the tires down this much-- the mechanic today said they should have been replaced 2-3 years ago. I am sure that Good knew this but didn't want to spend the money. Sure, I can be blamed that I didn't check the tires. But to be honest, I wouldn't even know how to. And I think it's terrible that Good sold us a car with tires that they not only knew were unsafe, but on top of that, didn't bother telling us, either. I would have still bought the car and negotiated the price down and happily replaced the tires and given a good review. But the sneakiness about it is disgusting to me. Now I have to buy brand new tires on top of the price of the car and negligence of the staff. And thank the heavens that nothing happened to us before I found out. I wouldn't recommend buying here but if you do, bring someone who knows what to look for to check it all out. As any good local shop should do, I get the occasional question or raised eyebrow when buying a tool I could f@$% up my bike with to make sure I either know what I'm doing, or that they can do it and save me the trouble.
