So I have never written a bad review for any place that I had done business with, but my experience with IRepair in Tyler mall made me write this review to warn other potential customers to know what are they might face dealing with them. I took my iPhone X to the Riverside location for the screen replacement. Umid Mahmudzade replaced the screen and the battery (which I thought was unnecessary) for me. When I got the phone back and took it home, I noticed that the face ID was not working. I took it back and Umid was very rude and obnoxious about it and told me that he cannot fix the face ID because it was broken and he "noticed that a piece was there and I put it back and did not know it won't work." I mentioned to him that I worked perfectly before I took there, and as part of his job, he could have warned me or asked me to check if everything was okay. I asked to talk to the manager (Hydar) to resolve the issue. Umid said, "my manager is even stricter than me and nothing is going to happen." The manager refused to refund or acknowledged their mistake and said, "oh if we pay for every phone that gets broken, we would pay a lot." It sounded like they admit that they mess up " a lot!" Please make sure not to take anything to this place and if you have no choice, and this is the only phone repair in the world, please double check your phone because they don't know what they are doing and they are not taking responsibility for it. read more

When they say they do Galaxy repairs, it is VERY disingenuous. I went in there looking to get my USB port repaired, and first I was told they don't do repairs on my model because the guy thought it was a Galaxy 4. Then when I showed him the model, an older Galaxy S6 admittingly, I was told point blank that it was only profitable to repair the screens on the Galaxy phones, and they only stocked parts for iPhones. The information on the store and online say that they open at 10 AM. So I went all the way down to the store, got there at 10 and proceeded to wait until 10:12am. I called several times. Nobody answered and nobody ever came out of the back. That's very poor business to advertise an opening time and then not open at that time. You just lost a potential customer. Had ipad mini screen repaired 2 times and both screens failed. I figured the ipad was going to be trash so i followed youtube steps to try and replace screen myself. To my surprise screen came right off( has always been in case so i never noticed) once the screen is off missing 5 screws on the inside WTF?? And they are profesionals. Although the repairman fixed my screen, in the process, he damaged a connection to the battery and had it sent out for repair (who knows where). It has been over two weeks, and I still don't have my phone. I would be more understanding on top of already being patient with him had he not claimed he was putting a rush on it. He told me it would be at the store the following week by Friday. When I checked in, a different repairman told me that he doubted the initial guy would tell me it would take a week. So on top of my phone not being ready, they basically told me I am lying or "misunderstood". Pretty poor customer service and still without a phone. read more

Since 4/16/2018 I have had issues with iRepair. I dropped off my iphone5s to have the screen repaired. It took ONE month to have a phone returned and not only that...But with MUCH less memory storage. From 64gb to 16gb. Still another month later and no luck with getting it replaced. I am repeatedly told that they are "searching" for a phone with the same storage??? I have been more than patient. I can't seem to get a hold of upper management. All they do is give you the run-around.I will never go back again and advise anyone that considers this place... TO STAY AWAY! read more

This particular location is trash. I had an iPad and a iPad mini repaired by this company. They didn't have the correct face plate for the iPad they repaired, even though they stated they did have it in stock. Additionally, their putative repair to the iPad mini made it exponentially worse than it was when I brought it in. Now when I attempt to use the iPad mini, all of the apps open randomly, and it also types randomly on the screen making it impossible to use. When I approached them about repairing their mistake, they said it would cost me an additional $70 to fix their incompetent work. They literally charged me to make my iPad mini impossible to use, and wouldn't fix it until I paid them again. Very poorly run business. One of the employees at this particular location is also very unprofessional and seems to be of little use when it comes to customer service. Do not trust them! I have gone. Back twice and still have the same issue with my phone! I am so frustrated. Al they can tell me is they have defective parts sometimes and I just have to keep coming back! Wow! I even asked for my old broken screen back and my money and they said it has been too long! So basically I have to go back and get the same parts that don't work properly over and over again! Poor customer service! And on top of it not working they smudged my inside camera lense and it takes blurred pics! They didn't even offer anything else as an apology! Took my working iphone 6 plus earlier today to have repaired. Instead of repairing my phone, I got a non operating phone returned to me with still the shattered screen and all the idiot would say to me was SORRY. I even said had I been told there might be a possibility my phone might not be working after the repair was done, I would have opted not to have the screen switched. Now I have no working phone and I will have to pay to get a new one!!!! Never again! These guys are idiots that don't know what the hell they are doing! I dropped my phone in water and the screen stopped working. I took it to the tech center downstairs and they said it would be 150 bucks and two weeks. I can't be without a phone that long so I searched for another option. I found these guys at the food court and I'm so glad I did. He told me it would be 30-40 minutes and when I came back, my phone screen turned on and worked (but now it malfunctioned when charging.) He told me he took all the water out and gave me some home care instructions. Well the home care instructions worked and now my phone is as good as new! These people are geniuses and they didn't charge me a penny for the repair (but I still paid them anyway, that's how great they are!) In summation: take your phone here and not downstairs! I took my iPhone 7+ to fix a cracked screen. Waited while the rep helped one person in front of me. He didn't acknowledge me. They chatted while he fixed his phone and continued to chat after the phone was fixed. The customer apologized to me cause he saw I was waiting then the rep apologized and he said he didn't acknowledge me because he thought I was with the other customer. I let it go. Showed him my phone and he said it would be done in 30-40 minutes. Went to get coffee and walk around the mall. Came back for my phone, he was still working on it but said he was almost done. As I waited, he then said that the home button won't function anymore because of a short circuit but he can set up the assistive feature because I can't use the home button. The phone was fully functional when I took it in. Considering the phone is now messed up and I don't want it completely useless, I let him finish installing the new screen. He knocked 10$ off and gave me a screen protector. When I got home I looked it up and iPhone 7's home buttons have been known to break when screens are changed. I think a phone repair professional should know that and advise the customer. I wouldn't have changed the screen with them if I knew that and would have just kept the cracked screen because it wasn't that bad or I would have gone straight to apple. Lesson learned.
