I was so impressed with the inventory that this store had, any kind of shoe you want they have it. But the highlight of my experience here was the employees! They were all so welcoming and helpful and patient while helping me find the exact shoes I was looking for. When I was finally ready to check out the ladies behind the register were so sweet and accommodating. I wish I had gotten names, but I do know the manager was amazing and said she had to work Christmas Day because they don't close. I will definitely be back here to shop again, with the crunch of the holidays and how hard retail staff work I can't believe how incredibly high their spirits were. Thank you.

After trying on just one shoe and letting my child run a few steps to see if it fit properly, a male employee immediately came over with a very rude attitude and demanded to know where we had taken the shoe from, as if he was more worried about the display being disturbed than helping a customer. How are customers supposed to buy shoes without trying them on first? When shopping for children's shoes, it's completely normal for kids to walk or run a few steps to make sure the shoes fit comfortably. To make matters worse, a female employee also had a very unpleasant attitude and looked annoyed the entire time, making it clear that customers were not welcome. I decided to leave immediately. We went to WSS instead, where the service was excellent and the selection of children's shoes was much better. We quickly found and purchased two pairs of shoes. My advice to others: think twice before shopping here. Respecting customers should be the bare minimum in any business. If normal shoe fitting is treated like an inconvenience, then this store doesn't deserve your business. Unless you enjoy being treated poorly while spending your money, I recommend going elsewhere.

Ipso Facto is a joke. Your business is apparently not welcome unless your appearance is Goth... I went in to make a purchase as a gift for a friend,only to be met by a guy named James with an attitude as bad as his wardrobe. He was rude short and unhelpful to say the least. His reluctance to show me anything and his refusal to let me look at more then one item at a time really started to test my nerve but I thought to my self that Your in a goth store what do you expect. Then it came time to cash out. I went to pay with a credit card but was unable to produce proper identification. Understandable but when I decided to do it as a debit . James refused to let me use the debit without I.D. The sale was seventy dollars for a simple choker. Making a purchase at a local store in this economy you don't turn away a $70 sale simply because I was not your desired demographic or a walking freak show like James. I left the store and returned with cash at witch time James refused service to me. He also refused to give me his mgr and store owner info.Now maybe if I were a twenty one year old with holes in his face and no brains in his head I would have been worthy of there business. Please note I have been in here before and have made several purchases. I cant say that the customer service was any better, but at least the other employees did not intentionally provoked be into wanting to beat his ass and teach him some respect. Message to Terri Kennedy Owner. As a business owner myself I suggest you teach your employees that anyone who walks in your store should be treated with the same respect as anyone dressed as a freak!!!! if you don't want my business or my daughters then close your doors and get out of my town!!!!! Phenomenal store, awesome inventory but by far the best thing about the Ipso Facto experience is the Gentleman Salesperson named James who works there. My wife and I get to Ipso Facto about every six months and always love James' attention, perception, patience and most of all his knowledge. James knows his inventory and he knows it well! I.F is the closest you'll get to Lip Service in OC. The owner mans the shop and their record selection is awesome. They have old issues of Gothic Beauty and clothing wise, there's everything from $5 Fishnets to $500 formal dresses. They've got men's boots, women's boots, Goth, Emo, Punk, high quality and awesome service...especially if you know what you're looking for and are aware of how much it costs.
