It's at the second floor of the town center, the sign isn't very large so it's easy to miss. The theater was really clean and the staff are very friendly. When you come in and when you go out there greet you and are very pleasant and polite. Bathroom was large and well kept. This is going to sound weird, but the napkins were really dense and high quality! The soap felt moisturizing and premium too. They did not skimp out on the bathroom. The seats are comfy large recliners. They even give blankets! Very easy to call the staff with a quick button click by the seats. The menu is scannable with a QR code. The food has more than just theater type of food. And just like a typical theater the foods are super pricey! Ordered a filet mignon, and was able to ask for medium rare. It came with fries, which can be upgraded to truffle fries. I would highly recommend the fries they are just the right amount of crispy. The filet mignon was good. Also ordered the seared tuna wrap. The wrap tortilla was quite hard to eat. It's also a bit messy cause the sauce just spills out. Would recommend getting something else. It gets really sticky and I didn't even bother finishing the tortilla. It was too stale. The tuna was good though, but very heavy on the furikake. Ice tea was typical. And also got the chocolate chip cookie. It was nice that they gave two cookies, but the food was so filling I could only finish one cookie. Great for splitting though. They already added gratuities. The service was great though, they routinely check in on us if we needed anything else out of we needed the space cleared. Movie quality is pretty clear and volume is loud. It's nice cause it feel's like you have a private seating area. Great for dates, not so sure if it's great for groups since it's paired seating. Overall feels like a luxury movie theater, highly recommend for a date night. Be prepared cause the price is high. You do get what you pay for in terms of service and comfort.

We had nachos at the bar before the movie and they were large and tasty except for large scoop of brown guacamole... maybe just leave it off? Dont scoop it onto my nachos. The person that checked us in to get our tickets was rude. We were asked if it was our first time at the theater I said I've been here before but it was my friends first time. The ticket attendant then said that I can give my friend the run down. Idk what run down she's talking about but her delivery was extremely rude. We just wanted our tickets and everything else she said was rude and unnecessary. The seats were comfy but the blankets were rough. I ordered a coffee and it was nice and hot. The waiter checked in on us a few times during the movie The movie was fun

The popcorn has definitely gotten better here! Had some Thanksgiving drinks and a movie with my hubby. I didn't get a photo in the theatre but RTC was so magical looking and quiet on Thanksgiving after a late movie.

Came here for a quiet movie date with the wife and from the outside I was wondering why in the world did I just drive a hour for. Then I opened the door and the inside was amazing, a nice bar, two pool tables and for some reason I was really impressed with the bathroom as well. They have a great selection of food and drinks and my favorite part of all was the privacy of the booth we shared to recline and enjoy the movie. I ordered the buffalo chicken spring rolls and the Mac and cheese. They both were delicious.

I've always loved this theater. Yes, it's pricey but that's what you'd expect at a place that offers comfortable reclining seats, blankets, and really good food and drink service to your seat. I've enjoyed everything I've ordered from there. Even their restroom screams luxury! Great place for a date night!

3.5 stars would be a more accurate rating. The experience itself is very luxurious. There's a free parking garage in the shopping center and tons of shops around. Your movie seat welcomes you with a blanket and reclining seats. I really like the "pod" concept, but imagine if you were going with more than 2 people it could be trickier. The food was good, definitely restaurant quality, but service takes a long time as other reviewers mentioned. Our first dishes came out pretty quickly. Shortly after the food got dropped off, we wanted to ask for more sauce ramekins for our fries and place another food order. It took probably 30 minutes for the server to come back (had already finished fries at this point so it wouldn't get cold). I also don't think they have a ton of vegetarian options (in comparison to Alamo Drafthouse for example). The actual theatre experience was good, but the seat rows aren't really at an incline, so if someone had sat in front of me, their head would be blocking a decent portion of the screen. Lastly, they don't play a ton of recent movies. We saw Companion, but they were also showing a lot of older movies like My Best Friend's Wedding and The Matrix. It could be cool to come here as a throwback night with friends, but for the price, I'd rather see a newer movie.

I think this is the fanciest movie theater I've ever been to. It felt super classy, which made me feel better about the $20/ticket cost. Joe, our waiter in the theater, and the bartender whose name I didn't catch were both super nice in explaining how ordering food and drink worked. We had eaten dinner beforehand, so we just ordered drink from our comfy chairs: Dragoncolada $16 and Spiced Pear and Ginger Mule $16. Both were tasty. I was especially impressed that you could really taste the spiced pear. We were in auditorium 6 and had seats C-3 and C-4. I thought it was a great view of the screen. It was cool how the seats were in pods of 2. Great for a date or with a friend, but I'd feel more awkward sitting next to a stranger compared to a regular theater. Maybe it's because it's one shared table. Each chair had a blanket on it for use, making the recliner chairs even more cozy. I'd definitely come back again. And maybe next time I'll leave room for food.

Parking is around the corner in a lot. Theaters are on level two escalators are across the street. Theaters staff at the entrance will not give you any warmth all business almost to the point of being rude. 2 adults and a child with fees 63 dollars. Small theater good size clear screen you can order food to your seats. These are very wide seats They serve food to the seats through out the movie so it is non stop people either serving or cleaning up dishes or asking people what they wanted anything. Seeing waitstaff blocking part of the screen is not a great experience for me. Tickets are not discounted and all ages are charged ticket price plus a service fee. Good sound system Theater was cold

Ask the Community - IPIC Redmond

How do the front row premium seats compare to the premium seats not in the front row. Are you staring up in an uncomfortable way?

In my opinion, yes, very much so! I can’t deal with the front two rows. Further back the better!

Is there a way to speak to Manager at the Redmond location via phone or email? The phone number only goes to a person down in Texas. I need a live person in Redmond.

I tried to call a mgr also wasn't able to get anyone at Washington location only Texas

Is this place only 21 and over?

No. Customers of all ages are welcome to watch a movie here. There is a bar here that is 21 years or older.

    How much does it cost?

$28 per seat. Meals are anywhere from 10-25$ depending on what you order.

The Audio WAS VERY loud but not OVERWHELMING, I think it is what the director intended, for this film, other films were loud enough. The seating is recliner, cushioned, but not the ELECTRONIC, double recliner, stadium style and cramped, however the seating is well done in arrangement, sitting on the edges does not give u a bad angle. The middle sections for the walk way seating are actually great since there is no wall and there is bars, as well as being a level higher up, this is a great choice for a packed theater. The entire theater was clean enough for a busy week, and the concessions staff were amazing, they helped me out on getting my nacho cheese reheated , and answered the quick questions i asked about showtimes and other things. The original cinema was Lincoln Square Cinemas that they took over, which is a decent traditional multiplex with an IMAX screen and chairs arranged in stadium seating that actually lean back a bit. The lobby is open and has lots of room for displays promoting other films. On the left hall, the rows of screens is quite expansive which could make for quite a walk to the bathroom or to get concessions and bring them back. It might not be a bad thing to have some of them renovated to be like their Totem Lake location. The Cinemark Reserve is a whole other thing, and truth be told really deserves a separate Yelp entry. It is meant to be a premium experience. Like the iPic in Redmond it is an electroncially reclined seat with seat warmer and a table for a meal with waiter service. It's 21+ only and they serve alcohol. The finishes on the walls are slightly more premium but not too much above and beyond their newer Totem Lake location. There is a big lobby area for concessions but a lot of the walk-up food service areas have fallen into disuse after covid. Cost-cutting wise they're really pushing kiosk ticket buying, which is fine, but yesterday the printers weren't working, so the kiosks could take your credit card payment and then leave you with nothing. When they radioed for the manager it probably took half an hour for the manager to show up. I noticed the cost cutting at the original cinema too as the one person that could sell you a ticket is also the person who checks you in on entry. That being said, there really isn't an alternative to watch the latest blockbuster or buzzy indy/foreign film in the West Bellevue area than here and they do their reasonable best to ensure a good experience.

Movie tickets cost $10 with a $1.38 service fee. Pets are allowed. Parking is set up on the soccer fields by Lot B and opens at 7 PM with a $10 fee. We arrived twenty minutes prior and parked at Lot K to only pay $1 and avoid the crowd afterwards. By then, there was already a line of people waiting for the check-in to start at 7:30 PM. It was somewhat silly that the pre-purchase line was slower to enter than those paying at the door due to the difference in length of the lines. Seating is first come, first served and split into three sections with ground seating the closest to the screen, then low back chairs or sand chairs, and then camp chairs. Sections are selected when buying the tickets. If your assigned section is full, then you can sit at any section behind. Sections get filled fast but we were able to lay out our picnic blanket near the center of the first section. Live music begins at 8 PM and continues until the movie starts at dusk, which during the summer time is past 9 PM. Even if not interested in the concert, it is impossible to snag good seating unless you come early. To help pass the time, the perimeter had food trucks and business tents offering free goodies. We ate dinner before the event and brought our own drinks and snacks. It can get chilly at night even during the summertime, so I would recommend to bring a jacket or blanket. Bug spray may also be useful as I woke up the next morning with a couple of mosquito bites. Unfortunately smoking is not prohibited so caught some whiffs of weed before the movie. I had thought people would be required to remain in their vehicles the entire night, but I witnessed many people bringing chairs and blankets to get a little bit more space. Cars are spaced quite a bit away from each other. You listen to the movie via your car radio and there are minimal announcements ahead of time. Food trucks and porta potties are available on site. Getting in and out of here was surprisingly simple. Lots of employees seemed to be working hard to make sure everyone's experience was enjoyable. My partner complained that some of those behind us never turned their headlights off, but overall I think it is a great way to enjoy a summer evening and we don't have any actual drive in's in the Seattle area.

At this point it felt like it's mostly dependent on personal preference so I decided to go in and find out. I thought the place is decent. The biggest attraction is that tickets are probably the cheapest in the area. Regular ticket price is around $16 for Seattle but it's $10 at Varsity (as of December 2023). And you get a dollar off if you're a student. Also you don't even have to buy the student tickets in person because you could just order them online (other places like AMC downtown, you have to go in person). I made sure to bring my student ID in case if they want to check, but it was never checked onsite. I think it's a little more shabby than AMC and other more commercial theaters, but it does its job. The movie started on time and there were no issue throughout the movie. I wish they could just shut off the ads before the screen turns on at starting time because you're facing a blue screen that shows nothing while the ad is blasting. On the other hand, I liked that there aren't that many previews to watch through to get to the actual movie I came to see. The bathroom is two flights up the stairs from the ground floor. It's well kept and smells ok, but they probably have to check the toilet paper inventory more often. By the time I went in, there were no toilet paper left at all so I didn't forget to inform the staff that before leaving. The staff was polite and accepted my remarks in good spirit.
