Always an amazing time at iPic Redmond. The staff is super friendly and the food is consistently good. For anyone that has ever been to an iPic theatre, the experience is so different in the best way! The seating is great and the leg room is unmatched. I wish all theatre's were this customer friendly. If you haven't experienced a day/night at IPIC, it's a must! You definitely won't regret it and you probably won't want to go to a "regular" theatre again. Lol. If you're able, try to arrive early in order to gain the full experience of the bar and ambiance in the lobby....especially if you're with family or friends. They've made some changes since I was last here so updating my review. There are no free blankets, pillows or popcorn offered anymore. Asked for a blanket and was told by the waiter he'd bring one, but never did. I don't know if they charge for them or not; saw an ad to ask for one during the previews. The blankets and pillows are no longer waiting for you on the seats, probably due to covid. The seating has changed so the comfortable, plush recliners have been replaced by smaller, vinyl orange ones. They are surrounded by a black and grey wall that looks like the bottom of an egg carton. Not visually appealing. Can still see the people seated next to you on either side. Had a few servers come and go and they were all friendly. Besides the blanket mishap, bringing 2 bags of popcorn when we only asked for one and it being stale in both bags was a let down. Movie sound and quality were still great. The bar on the left of the lobby is gone, but the one on the right is still there with a gas fireplace. Hostess didn't ask for any ID when I checked in for our tickets. read more

Was in town for PAX West & Shang Chi was playing (Fantastic Movie Btw) so I looked up the nearest IPIC theater and luckily this one was only 30 minutes from my hotel. I usually go to the IPIC in New York so it was nice to see how this compared to it. 1st thing is this one is smaller & the bar area is connected where in New York the bar area is upstairs in like it's own restaurant. Lounge area was very nice, bathrooms were extremely clean, food is exactly the same. I thought different IPICS have different food but I was wrong. Same food, same drinks, same promotions everything. This made it very easy to order since I practically know the menu like the back of my hand. Got inside and saw that the seats were pretty much the same as New York also. Here you have to request your blanket so make sure you do that to get all comfy for the entertainment. Had me a few drinks with the movie. They let you know about 1 hour before the movie ends that it's last call so they don't disturb you at the end which is nice. Great experience, great movie I highly recommended this theater read more

DINER AND A MOVIE AT RHE SAME TIME! Yes, you will be served food and drink from the comfort of your lounge chair while watching a current release movie! My wife and I went to see Wokanda. The food was surprisingly good and there were several beers on tap to choose from. They also have a full selection of mixed drinks. I had thier double cheeseburger and my wife had the chicken fingers. Both were excellent. It is too bad this place is so far away as my followers know, I used to live in LA and there was An IPIC in the Wilshire district and was very accessible. I really wish there was one in Seattle and for that reason I will deduct one star. It was really too far to go from the Seattle area. However. If you are in the vicinity, the food is very good. We are primarily cab (bold red) enjoyers and almost spit our first sip of their "cab" back in the glass. We live in a tremendous red region yet not one wine is local and the cab is JAM Nasty... Great service. We brought our kids here. The servers made sure to serve the kids food first. The seats are nice, and comfortable. They recline well. The volume in the theatre was at a good level. The server did let us know that there is a 18% service charge before we ordered. I was thankful for that because I was unaware of this service charge. That does not include the tip either. read more

Pleasantly surprised by the service!! Considering the latest reviews. We went to see dune at 4pm on Friday. Every employee we saw greeted us and asked if we needed anything. Drink came out fast and was excellent rancher mule. Food get a dropped star. The chicken was too bland. So bland you dip it in sauce and the bland overpowered the sauce. Fries were ok. Burger was good not great. They do have a mandatory 18% tip now. They need to drop the candy prices. Stop trying to be fancy restaurant with filet mignon sliders and the rest of the mostly tasteless menu. Simple bar food to eat while watching a movie. Don't need lobster tail. And get rid of the black toilets. It's not classy. Still better than any other theater just for the privacy and the chairs! read more

This is a very high class and elegant theater all around. The chairs and tables in the theater are comfortable and the viewing experience was excellent. But be prepared for sticker shock. Admission was high and I paid $12 for a glass of root beer. Hot dogs were $15 each -- the quality was not that great. Overall, it was $200 for three of us and we had no alcohol. I've never left a zero tip before. But here's the thing - IPIC promises you an experience: Great movies, delicious food, excellent drinks... And even though they delivered all of that, the experience was ruined by absolutely shoddy service. At the beginning of the movie we ordered drinks (wine for my wife and I, Coke for our kiddo) and food. Drinks arrived except my wine. Food arrived, still no wine so I reminded the server but no wine appeared. Ate my food sans wine as it was getting cold. Later, another server came around and asked if we needed anything. Me: "I ordered a glass of wine quite a while ago and it still hasn't arrived." Server: "I'm sorry, we're really backed up. Is there anything else I can get you?" Me: "Just the glass of wine." Twenty minutes later, still no wine so I left the movie and went to the bar to get a glass of wine. Later a server came around for last call, and I reminded him that the wine I originally ordered never arrived. Finally they brought it. The movie was almost over. At this point I also asked for a soda water for my kid. The server that brought the wine promised to take care of it, but of course the soda water never materialized. Tickets, food and beverages for the three of us add up to around $200. I don't mind spending that for a nice afternoon out with my family, but when the promised experience is ruined by bad service it leaves a sour taste in my mouth. read more

The first thing you encounter when you walk in this place are a plethora of of signs... Signs that say "no cash," "enforced 18% tipping!!", etc, etc, etc!! Have these baby-adult managers not been taught what it means to serve the customer and are instead used to being coddled by parents who have failed to inform them how businesses thrive? I hope they are prepared for failure! The enforced 18% tipping means, the management endeavors to support juvenile minded, unprofessional, ill-evolved staff who have no sense of the impact of their service and actions. So, what did we experience?.... We arrived 30 minutes early in order to get our order taken on time but there were NO MENUES and the wait staff did not appear until 10 minutes after the previews started rolling! We waited 40 MINUTES FOR THESE ENFORCED TIP EARNERS TO SHOW UP!!! This was even with our blue "wait on us" request light on!! Good thing we GAVE UP on a waiter coming and one of us went to the bar to order our food and have it delivered to our seats. What did we get?.... PATHETICALLY COLD POPCORN!, HARD AND DRY-RICE SUSHI, and just okay pizza. And guess what?... the espresso machine wasn't working and when we asked for cream they said they had none and the waiter did not know to offer half and half so he brought whole milk and we had to ask the delivery-server if there was half and half instead. To top off all this ineptitude, the wait-assistant was utterly graceless, kept being overly-loud, untimely and interrupting. While the waiter kept walking through the room with a lighted screen that would flash in everyone's eyes but, WHAT DO THEY CARE?! They still make 18% even if the are mindless! This place used to be one of our favorite date night spots. It's sadly de-evolved and is nearly lost. I so wish adults would step back in and right the ship. I've had two experiences here in the last month and I enjoyed both. The very first visit service was slow, but the theater was busier. The second visit service was spot on, but the theater was pretty empty. This was a Friday night (busy) vs a Thursday night (slow). All in all, I really like this place and I don't want to experience movies any other way. This is the gold standard. While it's expensive, it's comfortable. The drinks are good and I enjoyed my nachos. My daughter loved her Pepperoni pizza and told me it was fresh. Parking is easy. Parking garages are very close. Street parking is short term from what I can see. This theater is a whole vibe. Definitely a great place for dates. It feels very intimate. There are also a lot of really cute nearby shops. I really enjoyed a Chai Cider nearby in the shopping center, at Locust Cider. If you have extra time before the show I recommend checking it out! Oh and lastly, the chairs are noisy as you recline and sit up. We laughed about it. It's funny. read more

This has to be the worst business experience I have ever had. I tried this evening to buy a movie ticket and I could not log in as a guest either on my phone or computer. I called the theater and explained the situation and they were of no help. Then they accused me of giving the staff a hard time. It was so loud in the background where they were they could not even hear me. So then their final option was to ask me not to attend the movie. 1. The website does not work 2. Staff is unhelpful 3. I like this place an we have been coming here for years. Me and my now wife actually went on one of our first dates here 9 years ago. Comfortable seats and a little wall around them so you feel like you are almost alone in the theater. It's pretty cool! Service is fast and good. Food seems to be around the same price every movie theater has but the food is great. I always get the pretzels with cheeeeeeese and mustard. I recommend it! read more

WARNING - You should absolutely pay attention to the fact that this place has so many TERRIBLE reviews. I am usually not one to believe reviews, until I experience something for myself. Well, I did just that when I went and saw Barbie, on 7/25/23, at 7pm. I obviously can't speak for all of the bad reviews, but my experience shows there is some amount of truth to them. It is a shame that you can't leave a 0 star review. Initially, IPIC seems promising. The place promotes a "luxury" movie and dining experience. If you were actually going to get that, this place sounds like a fun opportunity to drop some money and have an enjoyable night out. Well, now that I am home after the experience, I feel quite fooled. Literally from the moment we got seated in the theater(20min before showtime), I could tell it was not going to be a good experience. My date and I were the third couple in the EMPTY theater. After about 15 minutes, no one came to greet, acknowledge, or tell us how ordering worked...even though there were obviously at least 2 assigned servers in the theater. After waiting some time, I walked over to the 2 servers, who were literally standing against a wall, casually chatting. I approached them and said, sorry to bother, but we have never been here before, and I wasn't sure do we need to order online or if there was a system to ordering. The person who would soon be our server, very abruptly told me that he and the other server were taking care of the theater and would eventually get to us. After waiting quite a while, at least 30min after the movie start, and being the next to last couple to even get approached by the server, he finally came by. He immediately had a very apparent attitude and was obviously even more agitated when we ordered items that weren't available from the menu(even though we were not told this before). We quickly placed an order. An HOUR AND A HALF into Barbie, the server stopped by and asked if we needed anything...as though we had eaten already. He was surprised when we said, yeah, we would love to have food, but haven't got anything yet. He grumpily said he would check on it. 10 minutes later, I flagged the server down and said don't worry about the food, we don't want it anymore. The movie was almost over. With no kind of care or sympathy whatsoever, he just passive aggressively smiled, gave a thumbs up, and kept on walking. No apology, explanation, nothing. At this point I wasn't even surprised by his reaction and just found it comical. It is a wonder that this place is still even in business, with as many bad reviews and experiences as there are on here. There is nothing luxury about this experience. It's unfortunate, because honestly, the actual theater space, overall ambiance, screen, and sound are fantastic. But the service is pathetic and nothing that you would expect from such a seemingly upscale place. Visited this past weekend and honestly prefer the larger theatre chains (i.e. Regal, Edwards, AMC) over this experience. BUT I'm giving this place a 5 stars due to the AMAZING service and staff that work here that absolutely blew me away. Specifically, I was having issues with some of my payment methods and the gold membership and Ally (I believe the theatre manager) was extremely patient with me and helped us work through everything despite having a huge line and busy day. I was even more surprised when I later saw her shuttling food back and forth from one of the theatres. It seems like Ally and the staff here wear many hats and are still able to provide best in class service. I'd come back for a special occasion or as a fun night out, but this probably isn't a frequent theatre experience for me even though it's quite close to home. The food was tasty but expensive, and the seats were really comfy (and the free blankets are great!) however, I feel like the screens are a bit on the smaller side and would prefer the bigger theatre screens if I really wanted to be immersed in a movie. Love the seats, viewing, and sound!! Did not like the surprising 18% service charge, and they still expect a tip on top of it. The menu refers to prices only don't include sales tax. No warning of the service charge. The WORST popcorn ever!! First round was overcooked, tasteless (despite supposedly having butter on it), and way too many kernel crunching. Second round was simply sans overcooked, but still horrible with all the other problems, plus, it took quite awhile. Left weird taste in my mouth. The popped corn was really small. One of us didn't feel well during the movie, and left early. Others complained of not feeling great after the popcorn, and it was distracting from the movie. There were eight of us. Will never order it again! Btw, it's no longer free, unless pay for the membership. Service was minimal and slow. Never asked how second batch of popcorn was, and had to ask twice for water. 5 pops, a beer, 3 popcorns, and the service charge were $94. I have never complained about a theater experience. Feel compelled after this experience. Seats and watching 4.5+ stars. The rest 1 star. If visit, again, no food. Disappointing compared to previous visits. Sorry. read more

I'm so torn about leaving this review. I love iPic and used to recommend it to everyone. But this place has just gone downhill. Barely a year ago we still had popcorn and the little blankets. I can understand they are cutting down on expenses, but how about making that known when you purchase the ticket. The service is the worst though. We came early to eat before going in the theater. It took 45 minutes to get our appetizers and we were the only ones there. Food came out right as we had to go in and the kid bringing the dishes was very awkward about it. He set them down and walked away. Then came back, left again, came back and took one plate away. In the theater I had asked for water, I didn't get it until the end of the movie. I ordered my quesadilla with no meat, they added chicken and charged me for the "add on". If it was busy and short staffed I could totally understand. The theater was practically empty but had plenty of workers everywhere. Most of them hanging out talking. read more

Although the ~luxury~ of ipic has gone down over the past few years (no free popcorn, no blankets, being out of menu items constantly), this is still my favorite theater to catch a movie. I find it so much more enjoyable versus a standard theater with the comfy recliner seats, dining/drink options, and each "pod" making it feel like you are in a personal theater. The truffle Parmesan popcorn is great, and the new Harvest Bowl is a delicious, healthier option compared to the array of fried foods. I will say, the bathrooms are a mess. They are extremely dark, almost never have toilet paper (if they do, it is a roll sitting on top of the holder rather than in it), and more often than not a few of the toilets are clogged up and not working. The bathrooms in the Redmond Town Center are a better bet. read more

Good food and drinks, but mediocre screen and sound quality. When you walk in past the ticket counter the interior is so dark with antiquated lights. The double seats are nice and comfy, and the service was fast and friendly. We had the brussels sprout appetizer and truffle fries; both were hot, fresh, and delicious, and I highly recommend getting those. But when the movie started the screen was not very bright or clear, and the sound was muffled. I would expect a much better movie experience after paying $19 a seat. read more

After receiving this email we will no longer be members of IPIC. We will go see a movie at AMC or Regal. Over the last several years IPIChas removed the free popcorn with purchase, discontinued pillow and blanket for each person, went cashless, and now this... "A Quick Update Regarding our Terms of Sale and Gift Card Terms We are writing to notify of an update to our Terms of Sale and Gift Card Terms that will take effect on June 2, 2023. You can review the updated Terms here. Please note that if you continue to visit any of our theaters after this time, you will be subject to our new terms. The updates introduce two policies regarding food and beverage purchases that are new at some for some of our theaters: Authorized Hold and Automatic Gratuity. Authorized Hold We may place an initial authorization on your account of up to $75 when you order food or beverages. For debit and pre-paid card users, this will affect your ability to use those funds while the hold is in place and, for credit card users, will impact your available credit. I said I would update my review dependent upon how iPic handled matters. The original response was less than adequate, basically telling me that they would not refund my food and drink purchases. But after some email exchanges, they decided they would make the refund for the food and beverages.But then they would not provide the tickets for movie. While the food and drinks there are good and seating is comfortable for a unique viewing experience, I do not believe that anyone should have to argue about this. The lesson learned is that if you go to iPic and a fire alarm should sound, do not leave the theater area and re-enter as soon as possible no matter the weather or time of day. And never use anything other than a credit card to be able to dispute the charge if there should be any issues. Saw Wicked at the IPIC with family, including kids. Good experience for all of us. I enjoy the IPIC because I can see a good movie with very comfortable seating, a cozy environment and order food and wine. Not the every day movie going experience but enjoy it for a treat. One thing I didn't enjoy was their wine pour. They have a full bar but a list wines for the theater that is mediocre. The pours are very skimpy. I'm surprised at all the negative reviews lately. This is the best way to experience the movies. The price for seats is actually comparable to the price at the other theaters. It's true that they no longer offer blankets but it's probably cleaner to bring your own anyways. We're lucky to have good service and food when we visited. We're a family of three and the fourth seat is always empty. I feel a bit guilty but this gives my daughter the option to pick whom she wants to sit with without too much moving around. I'm there to eat, watch a bit of the movie and take a nice nap. Don't sit next to your daughter that keeps waking you up! read more

I took my boyfriend here tonight for Father's Day because we loved our experience the first time that we came, our first time was a great experience, this time, not so much. When we first ordered our drinks and food, our drink order did not come out until almost well halfway through the movie. We were told they were super backed up, which is very understandable, we didn't complain. Our food took even longer to come out & when it did come out it was the wrong thing. When we asked the waitress why we got chicken tenders instead of chicken wings she said they were out of chicken wings. Now that initially would not have been a problem if we were informed about this way before it was even brought out. Now this waitress is not the individual who took our order. Then when I asked her for extra ranch that I originally ordered in the first place, she gave me an attitude as if she didn't want to get it. When the waiter came back who initially helped us, I asked if the tenders were the same price as the wings, he then went on to tell us he doesn't know why we were served tenders and that he would comp both of our food items for the inconvenience. Which was greatly appreciated. We then ordered another round of drinks and a plate of fries. He then brought us out another chicken tender plates and said this was also for the inconvenience. Again greatly appreciated. Our drinks however did not come out until the credits were about to role. Which I just thought was absolutely crazy when we ordered them way before then. When we received the check, he had still charged me for both the food items. At this point I went to the cashier to speak to a manager, they called the waiter back up. Which then I told him he said he would comp both items, he kind of with an attitude said "if you want me to comp both I will" I then proceeded to tell him that is what we agreed upon when we were in the theaters. He walked away for a moment. He came back brought me another ticket with just the wings comped. I didn't say anything because I didn't want to seem like a bother but I just am very disappointed in the service we got tonight. read more

Such a cute date idea, combining dinner and movies! This is my first time here and I was really impressed with the food, customer service, and comfortability of the seats. 2 tickets were $35 and food was about $70, so it evens out to a dinner and movie date. We went to watch House of Gucci on a Sunday evening and it was pretty packed so I recommend making reservations earlier than later to get good seats. They seat people in pods (looks and feels like first class) with comfortable recliner seats and a table in the middle. We ordered the buttermilk fried chicken with truffle fries, soft pretzels, and a couple cocktails. The fried chicken was good however they came as chicken tenders, which we didn't expect. The soft pretzels were delicious and I was would definitely get those again. The cocktails are a bit on the sweeter side, so ask for less sweetness if you don't like that. We also got the Tres Leches for dessert and that was also on the sweeter side, but delicious nonetheless. Service is quick and everyone we interacted with was super friendly. The food comes out fairly quickly and they serve up until about 15-30 minutes before the movie ends (they'll do last call so you don't have to time it). I heard they no longer provide free popcorn however ticket prices were decreased to account for that, but you can still get blankets during the movie if you ask your server. read more

We've been coming here since 2013 - guessing we've seen at least 50 movies here, likely more. The service has noticeably declined in the last year - they're good about taking your order initially, but after that good luck if you need anything. Getting a glass of water can take 20 min, same for utensils/extra napkins if you need them. It's common for the food to arrive before your drinks (even water), so you're left thirsty and/or with cold food while waiting for the rest of your order. Prices have gone up on tickets & food and now they've implemented a mandatory 18% gratuity. On our last visit my chair was also broken - at $23 a ticket I expect better. The staff do tend to be pleasant to interact with and most of the time the food is good. Their drinks are very light on the alcohol and pricey (my strawberry daquiri tasted like strawberry lemonade on the last visit, pretty sure they forgot the rum). I'm on the fence about coming here anymore, it's close and we like that we can order food and drinks. It's sad when I need to remember to bring water/utensils with me in case they take 15-20 min to respond. I'm also not happy about the auto-gratuity they've implemented, I'd be okay with it if the service was good but it's awful! This is not an inexpensive place - each visit costs us a minimum of $120 for 2 people. Do better iPic! read more

Overall, I LOVE the iPic experience, but pricing is out of whack... the theaters are newly remodeled for all seats as Premium Plus - nice private pods for two. The blanket and pillow makes for a ridiculously comfortable spot to watch! However, I can't get past the extra $11 "VIP" Fee on top of the $15 ticket... price for my wife and I to watch one movie is $52, and I haven't had a bite or sip yet! The food and drinks at iPic are great - high quality spirits and tasty bites -- the Buffalo Spring Rolls should not be skipped. In my opinion, iPic needs to ditch the VIP Fee, knowing the patrons are all ordering food and drinks from the seats - THAT is the main draw! Woodinville Theaters seats are on par (reserved, wide, leather, reclining), but you can't order a cocktail with push of button... that's where iPic should be making their $. read more

The husband decided I was getting a special surprise date night. Now I'm never one to turn down any decadence or indulgence so I excitedly awaited the unveiling of his plot. As we walk by this theater I excitedly tell him- hey there's a fancy theater down here! Then he opens the door, and fancy it was. Firstly, we went into the chic lounge and bar area and started my dinner off with my favorite course, the wine course. The bartender was great and indulged my sampling of their reds. As we were entering the movie theater where I was going to get to watch Jude Law, I mean, Fantastic Beasts, I was busy chastising the husband for not telling me we were going to a movie so I could have brought my favorite movie watching blanket to cuddle in. He found our seats which are unique to any theater loungers I've been in before. Instead of in a line they are in little duo pods with a table, places to put your bags, and you can imagine my husband's smug face- a blanket AND pillow on each chair. We had a server who took our order and while she was pretty unsure about gluten free items she went and checked with the kitchen. There were a few good items on their very upscale movie theater menu that were safe for those of us allergic to da gluten. I was on a date night after all and the husband was buying..with his card to our joint bank account.. so I splurged on the steak and lobster skewers. The fries which are fried in a general fryer had to be substituted for green beans. The husband had some little sliders. They came out with a complimentary bag of popcorn for everyone and the movie started. The sound and movie quality were both great. Food came out and was delicious though we had to send mine back several times cause it kept coming out with different gluten sides that were not what I'd ordered, but once they got it right we both enjoyed our dinner, I was in a fine mood with my blankie and wine, and then of course there was Jude.. Overall a very nice theater we'll be frequenting for special occasions. read more

A great place to see a movie! The space is nice and the reclining leather chairs are comfortable. They even provide blankets for your comfort! The food was great and the drinks were as well. The pretzels are a must have along with some popcorn. The staff are friendly and the wait staff during the movie are fantastic. They are efficient and deliver the food with stealth skills as to not distract from the movie. This was worth the drive over from Downtown Seattle and will go back to visit again soon read more

I used to go to the movies a lot, but it's been awhile. Decided to go to iPic for our first time back to the theatre in some time because I really liked it before and wanted to have a good experience. The movie itself was bad but the experience was good. Comfortable seats, solid food and service, and only about $5 more than a regular theatre and for the recliner seats and a smaller theatre with in seat we service and decent food (even a low carb menu!) it's well worth it. I'm not sure what happened to iPic, this was our favorite place to watch movies, they were expensive, but had blankets, popcorn and great service. The last year has been getting worse and worse, the blankets and popcorn went away a good while ago, which were sort of the reason why I was ok with paying extra compared to a regular movie theater. Now they no longer have draft beer only bad bottled options, some menu items not available, front desk grumpy and not friendly at all... Whoever is managing the place needs to decide if they want to make money from people coming to eat and drink or not. If there isn't enough staff, how about offering a smaller, but better menu? Adding additional bottled beer options and taking the draft menu offline? Bring the popcorn back, that was always the premium perk of going to an iPic. The other thing that bothered me a lot is the fact that beer is cheaper than soda? Why on earth would alcohol be more affordable than soda? I know, taking advantage of families and kids, but I just don't feel that's a good way to do business. I think it's time to rethink some items for management and work on improving the experience. Higher prices with less service seems to be the norm here, but people tend to overlook things if other things stand out positive (affordable soda for families and the free popcorn). read more

My partner and I enjoyed going here until they placed a 75 dollar hold on our card without telling us. The waiter said they do not tell "everyone" about this hold and just want to make sure we have money on our card? Very odd and unnecessary. The money still has not come back to us. Getting charged 75 dollars for a 12 dollar drink? We could of just paid for the drink before we ordered instead of paying a hold fee. read more

Excellent movie experience! Service was excellent all around. Food was very good! Had burger and fries and the fries were perfect.
