We haven't been to Ipic in over 5 years. We decided to go and see the new Fantastic Beast movie. The ticket prices have come down a little, which is great. We got in our seats and the same great service. No actual menus to look at and have to look on your phone. In the past we really liked their flat bread pizzas. So, we ordered the Meetza pizza, and we ordered the fried cheese appetizer. My husband has loved their Magarita because it came with an extra tequila shot in a lime boat. Something a little extra special. When we ordered the drink, we were informed with new laws they can only pour a certain amount of liquor in drinks so no more boat. We ordered the food. We asked about the free popcorn and was informed that they can no longer offer free popcorn because they have to make popcorn for each order. A little disappointing because we thought...the ticket price for the seat and some free popcorn is worth it. The pizza came. It was round so it wasn't really flat bread. The mozzarella was good size. We started with the appetizer. Dunked it in the marinara sauce. The marinara sauce tasted like typical really sweet out of the bottle. The cheese was okay...no seasoning in the breadcrumbs along with no seasoning in the marinara just left it bland and ok. The pizza...wow...really bad. Tasted like frozen round pizza you get at the store. You couldn't really taste the meat on the pizza. Not only that but the crust was so dry and crunchy that it was loud when you were eating it. You were apologizing to people sitting around you for making so much noise. Towards the end of the movie our stomach wasn't feeling great...kind of thinking it was the pizza. The seats are great...the service was great...clean theater...we will just go and eat somewhere else before going there next time. read more

This company has little regard for customers, regardless of their history with them. IPIC will not hesitate, under their 20-minute late policy, to accept and retain payment without rendering any services or any form of compensation. They're also tone deaf when dealing with frustrated customers. I spoke to someone on site and was told that he would refer the issue to his manager. I never heard back. I reached out to corporate support and received a pretty hollow response from a C Tannen who ignored my response. After going through other online reviews, I see that my experience is not rare. This place is EXPENSIVE make no mistake. Drinks and food are individually mostly over $10 and tickets are pricy. That being said it's so very comfortable and pleasant. The seats are like booths and recline. The staff is quick and pleasant, you order from your seat and they bring it to you. And the food is a good step above your typical theater faire. They don't do anything wrong here. If the price is alright with you, then bump it up a star, or even max it out. It's just not the best value. This is in Redmond Town Center, which means plenty of parking, but things are spread way out. It's a sprawling mall mixed with offices and hotels. You go up to the upper concourse and wind your way back to the end of one walkway, and there you are. Inside, there's a bar with food, and plenty of seating. There's a front desk that's more like a hotel than a multiplex. There are flat screens and a fireplace in the lobby. You can definitely get here early or longer after the movie, and they even have a food menu, with a working kitchen off to the side. Head back and up a short flight of stairs and there are multiple auditoriums. The screens are small-ish, and the sound is good but doesn't shake the seats or anything. The seats are super nice, as everyone probably knows by now. Plush, semi-reclining, with little blankets and pillows. You get two seats together with head-high booth walls enclosing you. There are cup holders for each seat, and a little swiveling shared table between you. It's a little private enclosure for the span of the movie. You pay $25 to get in, and the concessions prices exceed what you'd usually pay at another multiplex. You could easily pay over $100 to take one person to the movies here, and that bugs me. It's a great experience, though, and as a splurge you feel you can justify, you can have some fun here. read more

Friends of mine recently wanted to go to IPIC, we hadn't been there since before the pandemic. We came for a movie on a weeknight and the theater was about half to 3/4 full. I won't go into the details since many have written reviews about different aspects but the bottom line is that only go here if you really want to be served food and alcoholic drinks and not to actually watch the movie. The problem is that they don't start taking orders until close to when the movie starts. We came 30 min in advance and they did not take our orders until previews started. We were the first into the movie theater but they took other orders first. The kitchen and bar take awhile so you it can take a long time to get your food and drinks. We had people show up after previews had ended and movie started so they had to take their orders so it's noisy. They also come by to close out your order during the movie and give you last call so that interrupts watching the movie too. Why have I seen no one comment that they asked for our credit card and they put a $75 hold on our card without telling us! Apparently the hold disappears off your visa and the actual charge shows up but I was not told. There might have been notice on the tickets but my friend bought them. It's $23 in total with fees per movie for an interrupted movie and the food is expensive although every movie theater charges $7 for a coke, etc. these days. My chicken skewers were good, they have pretty good variety. Here's my recommendation - only go here if you want the experience of being served a quesadilla or nachos and alcoholic drinks while watching a movie in a lounger and you are not that invested in the movie you are watching. Do not give them your credit card - insist on only paying with cash at the end. Be prepared to have to push your button and the food will take awhile and might not be what you ordered. It's fine, just not worth the $ in my experience. I think they need to staff better / more servers and get the kitchen to move faster and not allow people to order if they arrive late or have them leave the theater and stand outside to order and stop ordering during the actual movie. read more

I've never been to such a bougie full service movie theater before coming here. Tickets and seats were easy to reserve online. Keep in mind you should do them in advance to get the premium ones in the back. The front section I thought was way too close, which makes your crane your neck upwards a bit too much towards the movie screen. We got there early and got our food orders in. The fries are HUGE, despite being side orders. Food service was on point, arriving early enough in the movie. And the premium recliner seats come with complimentary popcorn as well! The fleece blanket is a nice touch, the pillow is probably no better than one you get on board an airplane. The space, comfort, food, and service are definitely luxuries, keeping in mind you get what you pay for. read more

Good theater! I've been to iPic a couple times before and both times have been pretty good. First off, it's in RTC so lots of parking, no parking directly for the theater, but you can walk. Everything went smoothly getting to our seats. Seats are pretty comfortable and they recline a bit. Has a nice table and a QR code for food. The food was good, overpriced (it's a movie theater) but for movie theater food it's good! We got chicken skewers and fried chicken which were both good. The only complaint I have about the food is that it was smaller portions but again movie theater. It took them a bit to come to us and ask us for our order but other than that it was a nice place to watch the Barbie movie. read more

So let me start by saying the seats are comfy the ambiance is great. The food was terrible! I decided to order chicken and waffles. Mistake! The waffles were soggy and the chicken was reheated chicken tenders. The service was good but sad that the chicken was served in a bowl with moisture in it. So I know they just threw the bowl in the microwave and served it. It tasted a lot like airplane food. They charge way too much for sub par food. This could be a great experience if they stepped the food game up I hope it was just an off night. Good news is that right when you walk down the stairs a coldstone creamery appears! Three of us went to see Avatar tonight. When booking I wanted to keep us together so I booked the furthest row back...not knowing that there is a partition in between pairs of seats. There is no way of knowing this from their seat diagram. I ordered the shrimp and avocado salad without the red onions and it came with them. I ordered a Cadillac Margarita, no salt and it came with salt. For a salad and one drink it was $47. We will be going to Cinnebar in Mountlake Terrace from here on. read more

Select your seats a) Premium Seating ($18.50/per seat) - comfy seats but does not recline and does not come with food service. b) Premium Plus Seating ($27/per seat) - reclining chair and comes with food service. 4. Pay online to reserve seating Bought 3 Premium Plus Seats which is a reclining chair, comes with a pillow, blanket, food & drink service with a connecting table (separate charge when ordering). It was nice to know you don't have to rush to the theater to seek your seat as they are already reserved. The experience was awesome!!! The only annoying part was when the wait staff comes around while you are trying to watch the movie. Its nice they are there for you but wish there was some sign we have on our tables that says "yes" (yes, I need service) or "no" (no don't bother me I'm watching the movie). Before the movie you are given the menu and you can order drinks (non alcoholic and alcoholic) and food. Also, free popcorn is passed out at the beginning of the show to each person without cost. When you order from the menu, it is a separate charge. We ordered the asparagus and beef satay plate which was very good. The menu had appetizers to full meals. I would give zero stars if possible. I showed up here with my son who is 6 and was thrilled to see Mario. We drove 30 minutes to arrive. we were denied entry because our arrival was 22 minutes after the movie start time (which are previews anyway) and apparently after 20 minutes they won't let you enter the theater. I spoke to the assistant manager and then the manager who both refused us entry because we were 2 minutes over the arrival window because my child had to use the restroom before we checked in. Unbelievable and a huge waste of money and time. They also refused to refund my money and only offered another movie time 3 hours later. The fact they not only refused us entry then refused to refund me is baffling. IPIC sucks. read more

Oh boy, this is my favorite theater ever!!!!! My husband and I don't go watch movies in regular movie theater anymore. We are way too spoiled here. This is our place for date nights. What is better than watching a good movie in a comfy recliner with pillows and blankets, and being served with yummy food? We totally LOVE this place OMG!!!!!! We usually watch movies and have dinner a the same time. The food is great, and they have one of the best fries I ever tasted. we usually get the beef skewer with asparagus and regular fries. My only complaint is that the cocktails are usually weak. we had to ask for them to remake it again a few times duo the lack od alcohol :/ But, other than that, we are always happy to come here. Wandering around Redmond Town Center with some time to kill, I just happened onto iPic Theaters and was I impressed! From the outside it's super unassuming. Inside you'll find an upscale bar, dining area, concessions stand and more with seven current movies playing. Since I'm not sure when I'll get back, I get the premium seat for a show of Furious 7 which runs $17. The premium leather seats are on the back side of the theater and give you full reclining seats with free popcorn during the previews. On special, iPic had $8 specialty drinks on Tuesday, I order up some pretzel sticks which was plenty of food. Service was excellent throughout the movie and the place is just very well-run. The screen is on the smaller side from the back of the theater but very sharp and excellent sound system for a fine movie experience. In the end, home theaters are so good nowadays that it takes a place like iPic Theater to make the movie-watching experience special. And no doubt in my mind, that it does exactly that! read more

Today was my first experience here at iPic with my boyfriend. I heard about iPic through my employer, which gave us a discount on premium plus tickets. They are normally $28 for premium plus tickets and $16 for normal premium seats. Purchasing tickets was really easy and I was actually able to do it through the phone. Once we checked in, we were able to grab a drink at the bar to the right or order food at the cafe on the left. Once seated in the theater, premium plus ticket holders were seated in reclining seats with a small table/menu, free water and popcorn, a fleece blanket, and a small pillow (airplane quality). Waiters will come and serve you anything that you request from their menu. They'll hold onto your credit/debit card until the end of the movie nears so that you can keep your tab open. The food here is expensive. We ordered angus beef sliders, a side of waffle fries, and a drink which in total came out to $45 before tip! The food was OK, with similar quality to Applebee's. Worth it? I think this place is worth checking out at least once for the experience (since movie ticket prices are so expensive nowadays anyway!) With our discount, we paid $30 for two premium plus tickets so it was definitely worth it for us. The food was not worth it so I wouldn't eat there. Seats were comfy but I honestly thought that Regal cinemas has same quality seats with their new remodel. read more

I loove them! The service is fast and very attentive. You will have to wait just a bit for picking up tickets when purchased online. I still don't understand why printing them if technology has already helped purchasing them :S Probably because there would be people at every auditorium. There are no regular rows but booths for 2 people each. So check this first when coming with more than another one. Each month has like a wall isolating you from the other spectators. There are comfortable reclining seats woth pillows and a table in the middle for food or drinks that you can order. Just press the blue button and in some minutes a waiter will come to take your order from the menu on that table. It will take some minutes to get food but usually drinks come faster. There are no complicated things. You can find stuff like quesadilla with meat, sushi rolls, sandwiches, chocolate martinis, beer, wine, etc. What I really like is popcorn! Conveniently located in the Redmond plaza with plenty of parking. I was expecting a normal movie theater. I didn't know these luxury theaters existed. It is like first class movie watching. The facilities were super clean and looked pretty new. I checked out the bathroom and it was super orderly/clean - not like the bathrooms that you find at an AMC or Edwards. The theater in itself was topnotch and the people working here were super nice. The movie attendant came by to show us what the buttons did and all the other amenities within the seating pod. You know how theaters are usually super cold? This one's temperature was set just right and they had blankets in case you're cold. We extended the chairs into lounging mode and it was super relaxing. You get a lot of privacy too in your pod so it feels like a very personal experience. The food and drinks were excellent. The Norma Jean was delicious. They had fresh berries on top. The appetizers were mouthwatering delicious! The selection was perfect for movie watching. I think my favorite item was the Angus Slider and the Buffalo Spring Roll. The rest was super yummy too. The popcorn was also excellent. I don't know what the flavor was but I couldn't stop eating. It tasted a little smokey... tasted some hints of sweetness (?) Not sure but it was darn delicious. I promised myself that I would only eat a handful because I didn't want to over eat but I just kept going. This is a great movie theater for a date night. I really don't get what the negative reviews are all about. EVERY single person we encountered was so nice and friendly. The wait staff was quick, polite and very helpful. I was also surprised at how good our food was. We had shrimp wraps that were yummy. I was worried that it would be too loud and even brought ear plugs, but it wasn't, and this was a loud movie (Dune) 2. The place is beautiful and I would go just for the bar, which is gorgeous! Fabulous remodel! This over-21 serve-you-in-your-seat theater is date night perfection! Bar menu does not disappoint. Top shelf liquor, craft cocktails, solid service. My husband loved the Spice & Ice o much he ordered a second. My Passion Colada Mojito transported me to tropical island paradise. Really well done! Taking a seat in the bar will definitely get your evening off to a great start. The newly renovated theater now features "pod" seating. This means you and your date will be seated in as much privacy and sound-insulating coziness as is architecturally possible in a public theater. They thought of every detail! Power reclining seats, oval shaped swivel table, cup holders that fold into the walls, pillow, blanket, complimentary popcorn and wait for it......a storage cubby for your purse ladies! At least I think that's what it's for?! Note: The new seating design would not be suitable for groups that don't want to split into pairs or groups with an odd number of patrons. The food does not disappoint! We enjoyed the ahi on crispy rice, Buffalo spring rolls, sliders, and margarita pizza. My favorite by far was the ahi! Service was warm and friendly. With more standard movie theaters now offering reserved seating and reclining "lazy boy-like" seats, iPic can no longer advertise themselves as being a premier theater. The pack has definitely caught up with them. I came here with friends over the weekend to see a blockbuster movie. Since one of our friends was visiting from out of town, we decided to splurge and get the Premium Plus Seating. For $28, you get the comfy chairs and food service. Not worth it! If it wasn't for my friends, I would've gone to another theater. However, I'm already here, so let's just make the best of it. It was nice that they provided us with blankets and a pillow and the theater was 21 and over. At least, they have that going for them. Since there was food service, I decided to order some nachos and the popcorn of the day. The waiter never told me that sitting in the Premium Plus seats there was complimentary popcorn. Had I known, I wouldn't have ordered the popcorn. However, the Popcorn of the Day was probably the best part of my experience. Mixed in with the popcorn was truffle oil and Parmesan cheese. It gave the popcorn a nice touch. The nachos, on the other hand, fell really short. For $15 (with no meat), you would think you would get a significant mound of chips, cheese, sour cream, and guac. Nope! Instead, you get 8 chips. 8 chips!!! Granted they each had a nice amount of bean and cheese melted on each chip, but c'mon! This was ridiculous! I guess if you want to impress your date, you can go here and pay a premium for seating and extremely overpriced food. With movie subscriptions like Movie Pass and other Movie/Dining experiences like Cinebarre, I'd recommend going to other theaters over iPic. Sorry. read more

I have been to iPic Theaters on a few occasions. It is a really nice place to see a movie. The purchase process is different because you have an assigned seat. There are two tiers, the seats in the back allow you to order food and drink during the show and have them brought to you. With the other tier, if you order food before the movie you have a pager and then need to go pick it up. The seats are more expensive--but they are more comfortable and roomier to provide a deluxe experience. As you go in, you can either go to the bar on your right or order food on you left (although it looked like you can order both at either location). They have a nice selection of alcohol--very similar to any bar, with a really good selection of wines. I thought the food was good. I ordered sliders on this trip and they really hit the spot (although I think something about eating food during movies improves it). The experience costs more, but I think it is worth it. read more

The difference between this and pretty much every movie theater I have ever been too is pretty baffling. There are some theaters that have declining seats now but this one is stepping it up even further. They have their own private "pods" that drown out a good portion of other people's talking (other than the person you are in the pod with), tones of space, blankets, a button to request service, fold up cup holders that aren't taking up space, a movable table for food and drink, and actually good food and drinks. Every time we pressed the service button they were there within a few minutes which was pretty impressive. The food was great as well. I'm pretty tired of overpriced junk food so it was great to have well made food and drinks that we could enjoy whenever. You are of course going to be paying more than a normal theater but I actually believe that is the way it should be- watch unlimited movies at home vertically for free and then when you want to see one that just came out in theaters, do it the right way and enjoy yourself. read more

The seats, screen and sound quality are all first class. Service varies from average to superb; we went Thanksgiving weekend at it was average and today service was extremely attentive. But it's mostly very good. The food is hit and miss. Today my son had a burger that was very good and I had the prime rib sandwich which was okay. We came here and the prices have definitely increased! We still wanted to try it again so we went ahead and paid for our tickets and walked in. We soon found out the concession stand? Was no longer there. We didn't think much of it and just walked into our movie. Let me just say this....it took 45 minutes for our server to get us our drinks and half of our food....FORTY FIVE MINUTES.... AND NO IT WAS NOT BUSY... there were 9 other people in our theatre...she was prompt when it was time for us to pay... but other than that I had to run out and find someone to help us. Also, no more pillows and you have to ask for blankets... All movie theatre food/drinks are expensive... I know that... especially at a fairly high end place like this one... but almost $7 for a soda???? Are you joking??? The worst part was.. I couldn't even get a refill because OUR SERVER WAS NEVER THERE. The best part about tonight? The new drink holders that flap out... that was the best part. Intimate seating stations for two! This is a great place if you are looking for dinner and a movie since you can get it all in one place! The updated seating is pretty cool and intimate. There is a private call button to request your sever for food and drinks. The service was great the night we were there. The food was delicious. We sampled several and liked pretty much all of them. The Crab Roll was my favorite. The bun had the perfect amount of toast on it and they didn't skimp on the meat. I found the new seating a bit cramped from what they had before. Before it seemed that there was Premium Seating and general seating. Now it appears to be all Premium but if my memory serves me right the seating seems a little tighter and harder to get into and out of the seats. The seating pod is pretty cool with tuck away drink holders and has some sound proofing so you can't hear your neighbors talking if they are so rude to talk during a movie. The seats recline pretty far back and it comes with a pillow and blanket. The armrests seems more narrow too. My boyfriend looked a little uncomfortable in the new seats. The problem I saw with the new seats is there was no real space for a single person to go see the movie without being put into a very awkward spot - being forced to sit in the intimate pod with a stranger. I know there are many people who like to go to movies alone and this would be downright weird. I did notice a few seats that would accommodate a single person but was then told those seats and area was reserved for wheel chairs. So the theatre seats would be rolled away for the wheel chair. Again, leaving no real space for the single person to enjoy the atmosphere. This is the spot if you want an all in one date night with dinner and a movie! read more

I was so excited to see a movie at this theater. I've been to several iPic theaters before in other cities, and they have all been rather exceptional. Good food, good service, and above all a high quality theater experience. So imagine my utter disappointment when I went to this Redmond location and found none of that. The food was alright, and was probably the best part of the entire evening (aside from the movie, which was good, though iPic has nothing to do with that). After having dinner near the bar, we went to our seats and saw that they were in terrible shape, as were all the others. The leather was shredded in places, and it all looked worn out and old. When we went to recline them, they all made this loud, squeaky noise that could be heard throughout the theater. Then, we went to call the server, and the call button didn't work. When the server came and we pointed this out, they said, "Oh yeah, none of the buttons work!" You know what that says to me? That says that whoever runs this theater simply doesn't care about the place. Throughout the duration of the film, the servers had to constantly interrupt because the call buttons didn't work and they had to make sure we had what we needed (plus, they kept bringing us things we didn't order). All-in-all, it was a rather sloppy experience, and I'm not very excited to return to this iPic. read more
