I've come to this theater a few times to see different films and rereleases. I love the intimate coziness of this theater. It has a majestic vibe to the place and feels like you're stepping back in time. This is a two screens cinema, usually trading off with what is being played, along with show times. It's always a treat ordering a beer or two while catching a flick, highly recommend getting some food too, can't go wrong with a burger and some Cajun tots.

My boyfriend and I have come here multiple times to see movies, and we keep returning because it's so cheap compared to the AMC near us! We usually don't order food, as it's pretty pricey, but we have gotten some drinks a few times (also pricey for what they are). The tickets are $7 for matinee (adult and child) and $9 (adult) and $7 (child) regularly. They only show one movie at a time and switch them out every couple of weeks, but the movies are always pretty new and popular. My only complaint about the actual theatre is that the seats are kind of scratchy, if you don't wear pants! Parking: There is a free parking lot with ample parking for the whole McMenamin establishment

This is my families favorite local theater! We always wait the few weeks, until they get the family movies that we want to see. Comfy seats, ornate decor. I love that it usually isn't packed and you can pick where you'd like to sit. Reasonably priced snacks and drinks (unlike large, chain theaters). Love that you can order bar drinks & real food! Can't beat this place.

Today I found out there was a theater right next to our apartment. We went by to watch the Incredibles 2. I loved it! Here's a couple of tips: get there early! Seats are not assigned, doors open 30 minutes before the show. Try one of Mcmeniman's beers! They're awesome. This place is lovely! I love being a part of this community

I've made several a stop at this Mcmenamins and have been to the theatre a few times now, which I think is an adequate amount of times to leave an objective review. First, I like the theatre itself, I think it's vintage and cool and I have no complaints about screen size or the sound, they are perfectly adequate. The chairs are comfy and there is ample space to get up and down during the movie without making everyone stand up. Where they didn't plan well is only a couple rows have an area to put your food and drink. If you don't get those seats you're stuck trying to eat your food on your lap which can be a challenge with a messy burger. The food here is nothing spectacular, the tots are good but wayyyyy too salty. The biggest deal, the thought that went into the arm cup holder size vs the beer glass size is like non existent. The glass is way too small and wobbles around, falls over, spills, falls and breaks on the floor, you get the idea. Would it be that hard to use a solo cup type or something that fits snugly? Or shocker a pint glass???? And my usual gripe is the employees of Anderson school, no personality, rude, generally unhappy people. It's no different in the theatre than in the restaurants and bars. The gal on this particular day behind the counter was totally put out that she was at work, and the most unhelpful person as far as being able to talk about the beer. She would only let me buy a beer for myself, which I kind of understand, but then I was told by a patron you can buy another beer for a person but they have to come get it themselves. Well that would have been helpful if the actual employee offered that info, instead my husband had to get in the back of the line and was gone for 20 minutes! Bonus is it's dirt cheap at $7, but after visiting a few times I really don't feel like dealing with the staff or the stupid glasses and fumbling with my food. I'd rather spend way more at iPic and actually enjoy myself.

Staff is friendly and helpful. The food menu is pretty limited, but you'd be surprised how tasty their burgers and tater tots are. One pain point I have regarding this theater is that the walls seem to be not properly insulated, hence no good sound isolation. I watched The Martian couple weeks back and could hear the live band rocking it up in the Haynes' Hall, which is right next to the theater. Generally the volume is pretty loud throughout the movie so you're covered, but there were pockets of time I could hear the live band when there were movie scenes with absolute silence or minimal sound. Correct me if i'm wrong, but as far as i'm aware the live band performs only on Friday evenings. You can avoid this issue by not coming on Friday evenings, or you can accept this and consider it as part of the Mcmenamins experience. By the way, the live band performance was [awesome] - clap clap clap.

There is a button you can push to call a server, but I've never had to do that as someone usually greets us shortly after we sit down. From what we've tried on the menu, I can recommend the quesadilla, the mac n cheese, the grilled cheese, and the fried chicken. The fries are really good. I've tried several cocktails and the mule is one of my favorites. The servers have always been really pleasant. One time a drink was not delivered that I had ordered but they didn't charge me for it without me having to ask. This movie venue isn't cheap. Tickets are $20 and the food menu isn't discount. The food is pretty good, and when I compare to what I'd pay for dinner and a movie elsewhere, IPIC comes out in that range. Note that they do add an automatic 18% service charge to the bill which isn't boldly stated. I was glad I saw that in another review and thought to look for it myself. The screen and sound are good. My daughter and I like our fun nights out here and will keep returning.

I was actually surprised by how nice the entire place is. We ended up going to IPIC because the movie I wanted to watch was no longer playing in any of the other eastside movie theaters except at IPIC. I ended up paying beaucoup bucks, about $40 for two tickets and just sucked it up to watch my favorite movie director's newest flick. But I was easily able to get tickets online and reserve seats, making it super convenient to show up last minute. The seats are bundled in pairs, making it nice to have a date night here. The bundled seats include a table in the middle where your refreshments go. The seats recline and there's even a blanket on every seat. It was very comfortable watching a movie here, making the experience all the more fun. The menu features many different dishes and there's a full bar that you can get from your seat. They also have a bar to hang out in before and after the movie, as well as some games and a pool table. The bathrooms were amazing! Holy crap, I was surprised by how spacious, bright and clean they were. I wouldn't spend money to watch every movie here, but it is nice to have this option at Redmond Town Center.

In the lobby and waiting area is a lot of fun with the lounge chairs and pool tables. Parking is validated up to three hours. Easy validation with them. My only complaint is that I wish they offered more vegan or at least one full vegan entree. Not many people are going to the movies these days and here's an easy idea to change that maybe offer a vegan dish on the menu.. I was creative and got a pizza with no cheese. so vegetable pizza which was dough , red sauce and veggies. Some might find this surprising, but it was actually pretty good. Alternatively, I think they have burgers with cheese that you could substitute for black bean patty no cheese but again why can't they just make one dish on the menu that's exclusively for vegan diets instead of forcing people to do all these modifications?! no one likes modifications.

The Audio WAS VERY loud but not OVERWHELMING, I think it is what the director intended, for this film, other films were loud enough. The seating is recliner, cushioned, but not the ELECTRONIC, double recliner, stadium style and cramped, however the seating is well done in arrangement, sitting on the edges does not give u a bad angle. The middle sections for the walk way seating are actually great since there is no wall and there is bars, as well as being a level higher up, this is a great choice for a packed theater. The entire theater was clean enough for a busy week, and the concessions staff were amazing, they helped me out on getting my nacho cheese reheated , and answered the quick questions i asked about showtimes and other things. The original cinema was Lincoln Square Cinemas that they took over, which is a decent traditional multiplex with an IMAX screen and chairs arranged in stadium seating that actually lean back a bit. The lobby is open and has lots of room for displays promoting other films. On the left hall, the rows of screens is quite expansive which could make for quite a walk to the bathroom or to get concessions and bring them back. It might not be a bad thing to have some of them renovated to be like their Totem Lake location. The Cinemark Reserve is a whole other thing, and truth be told really deserves a separate Yelp entry. It is meant to be a premium experience. Like the iPic in Redmond it is an electroncially reclined seat with seat warmer and a table for a meal with waiter service. It's 21+ only and they serve alcohol. The finishes on the walls are slightly more premium but not too much above and beyond their newer Totem Lake location. There is a big lobby area for concessions but a lot of the walk-up food service areas have fallen into disuse after covid. Cost-cutting wise they're really pushing kiosk ticket buying, which is fine, but yesterday the printers weren't working, so the kiosks could take your credit card payment and then leave you with nothing. When they radioed for the manager it probably took half an hour for the manager to show up. I noticed the cost cutting at the original cinema too as the one person that could sell you a ticket is also the person who checks you in on entry. That being said, there really isn't an alternative to watch the latest blockbuster or buzzy indy/foreign film in the West Bellevue area than here and they do their reasonable best to ensure a good experience.
