Comfy seats and convenient location near grocery store, restaurants, and bars. The reviews about the sound is true as the sound can be crazy loud compared to other theaters. My family said the popcorn wasn't tasting good sadly. Overall the location is convenient but not the greatest location. Bathrooms are also upstairs as it's a smaller theater. The screens looked great though. Pros and cons here but I personally am a fan of this AMC having hot sauce at the condiment bar! Hot sauce on popcorn is so good. The good is that this location is not packed, so if you're looking to see a movie, and don't want to sit next to people, this is an alternative. I was in theater 1 and seat F-5. The theater was fine, but the recliner seat had issues. So I reported it to an employee, who graciously agreed to do a quick repair. . I chose to sit elsewhere, he did ask me if the seat was working before leaving. Very thoughtful. Just be forewarned that you may not have a working recliner if that's important to you. The theater is in a part of aurora that has a reputation, so long as you're attending a show in the early evenings, you shouldn't have any problems. I felt comfortable leaving my vehicle in the parking lot. There's a lot of businesses in that same complex. Other than that seat not working, I'd say it was okay. The bathroom was tidy and generally the whole theater was clean, orderly. read more

Hubby and I have been here a few times over the past 10 years. It had been awhile since we were there last because the theater at Northgate is closer. However we had T-Mobile $5 tickets for opening day of Marley, One Love. We pulled into the parking lot about 2pm for our 2:20pm show. We both thought it was closed because from the outside it looks a little sad. We got out of the car and walked up to the door and then were able to see people inside. I would strongly suggest they get a flashing OPEN neon sign to post in the window that faces the parking lot or put up some signs. We got some popcorn & a soda to share. You will definitely want to add salt. The cool soda machine lets you choose whatever flavor combo of sodas you want. The Coke Zero didn't quite taste correct but it was ok. The main draw for this theater is the kick ass recliner chairs. Very comfy. Like being at home kicking your feet up. Will try to see more movies here in the future. read more

Went to go see Sinners at 4:30pm. The screen was broken and only showed a half the size of the of the picture and was zoomed out. Was a full theatre. Staff was kind and easy refund, just took a dent out of our day. Kind of a scummy thing for management to still sell tickets to this screening and not notify there is a problem. We were told it was not "Broken". Yeah right...Yet they mention the person who fixes this comes next week... Would be weary of this location as management doesn't care about what you see. I feel bad for the filmmakers as people watching the film would think this is how it was meant to be viewed... read more

While this theater isn't very big, and therefore shows a limited number of screenings and often doesn't have limited release showings, the staff are very kind, it's never busy or crowded, and there is ample free parking. The seats are super comfortable and the cleaning staff are prompt and thorough. There are 2 gender neutral single stall restrooms on the first floor. The gendered multi-stall restrooms are on the second floor, which seem accessible by stairs only. read more

This movie theater has everything you need for an AMC. Good concession area, plenty of seating , always showing the newest movies & fairly friendly employees. The thing that makes this a miss for me is the bathrooms and the seats themselves are disgusting. Every time I go it seems to be a bit dirty but yesterday took the cake. For my showing at 130, I went in and the seats were covered in popcorn grease and there were straws everywhere. I told the employees and they just shrugged saying they cleaned it. That sure didn't look too clean to me. The movie theater experience is fine.. it's the cleanliness that needs a lot of work. read more

It seems like any time anything is on Aurora, it looks sketchy. However, this AMC location is a hidden gem. It's easy to get to, there's a parking lot, the theater is fairly well maintained, and they have all the updated concessions. No offense but I am not sure people here even know what a real movie experience is. This AMC stands no chance in-front of "AMC Burbank 16". Well getting back from past to the present. This AMC is in a complex with grocery stores & eateries around. Ample of parking space available. The most odd & uncomfortable part about the theater is that they have Restrooms on the the first floor & all the screens on the ground floor. How conveniently inconvenient. Woot woot, I have to admit, this movie theater has gone through some pretty gnarly renovation and is now rocking some cool features. Most prominent feature of this place - ample parking spots and comfy reclining seats! For those who may have visited this place many years ago, gone are the creaky, sticky, and noisy chairs. Everything is much cleaner and nicer and overall, this is a nice alternative theater to watch if Regal at Northgate is too full. As mentioned in other reviews, this place takes seat reservations when purchasing a ticket. It's not a big hassle and overall, you can at least get a sense of where you're sitting and if you run late, your seat is already saved and such. Tip - There is a tasty place next door (Fun DJ) that serves some yummy milk tea if you want to kill time there while waiting for your movie to start. read more

As a loyal AMC Premiere A-List Stubs member for almost 10 years, I have to say that I was pleasantly surprised with this near secret gem of a location! I just recently moved to the Northgate area barely a month ago, and it honestly didn't dawn on me to give this location a try because I love the Factoria one so much! But I did a little digging on various sites about it and I couldn't be happier! First off, the location is rather off because there isn't many appealing or "big name" stores drawing a lot of traffic to the plaza as a whole...In addition to this theater not really having the typical "grand cinema" architecture or building size that I'm used to. Or advertising signs/windows for that matter. Secondly, the best features are the comfy recliner seats and the ability to reserve them. Its pretty standard in today's movie-going market, but not necessarily in this immediate area of Seattle at all...Regal has reserved seating but no recliners, as well as the AMC 10 in the U-District. But the AMC 10 has an extremely difficult and out-of-the-way parking set up and regal as well. Oak Tree 6 has great parking, and almost always has my seats available when I want to catch a flick! All-in-all, I'm very glad I have such a great AMC theater literally minutes drive from my apartment. The staff have always been excellent, the theaters are clean, and selection is always great. I definitely go to the movies A LOT more often lol! Making a great unforseen perk to moving to the area! read more

This is our go-to movie theater spot in the Seattle area. As far as AMC's go, it seems to be the nicest by far with the newest renovations. They have the lounge recliner chains, which make for an even better movie watching experience. Popcorn is typically fresh for the 7-8pm movie rush (when we usually go). You reserve your individual seat, which is nice for more packed movies too. We are AMC A-List members too Only qualm is that the restrooms are a floor up from all the theaters except for two single restrooms on the theater floor. I enjoy watching movies here for the most part because of the comfortable seating and the ability to reserve my seat. The fact that other patrons feel the need to remove their shoes (gross) or have a lover's quarrel in a sickening sweet baby talk voice (even more gross, please stop) cannot be held against this theater. However. The theater is dirty. The floors are dirty, the stairwells are dirty, the bathrooms are dirty. We showed up for the first show of the day and the trashcans in the bathroom were full, the toilet was not clean and the upstairs landing didn't look like it had been touched. Par for the course I'm afraid as this is frequently what we find when we visit. Not enough to stop us from returning, those seats are awfully comfortable, but enough to make the whole experience a little icky. read more

My fiance and I are part of the AMC A list, and this theater is super convenient/a less than 10 minute drive from us. I honestly like the theater. It might not be super big, but it's also not super crowded and pretty chill. Therr is a decent amount of parking in the lot, and they recently got 2 electric chargers (free) in the lot as well. The times I have been, it's pretty clean. The reclining seats are also pretty nice. They do recline a lot more than the Alderwood Mall AMC. I would much rather come here as it's close and much more chill than the other AMC theaters. They don't show as many movies, but they show all the more popular ones! read more

I can't believe I'm leaving a review for a movie theater but I really like AMC Oak Tree. They have recliners which is really nice and this place has pretty affordable tickets. The parking lot is nice and big and I've always had a good experience with everyone that works here. Definitely get AMC A-List if you come here more than once a month! I'm almost scared to write a review because I love this theater since they did the renovation and don't want my secret to get out. They now have RECLINER CHAIRS, super swanky! Very comfy, I love them, especially for long movies. Because the recliners are made of leather or faux leather, I do get a bit chilly so I usually bring my blanket or a large coat along to cozy up in, but nothing wrong with getting cozy in a recliner chair while watching a good movie. Only thing I don't like is that you have to pick your seats when paying for the ticket. I'd rather go to the theater and pick them out once I'm in the theater. This also makes it hard for groups, with people buying their individual seats. If people buy ahead of time, you kind of have to do it around the same time and perhaps talk via phone or text about which seat you got so your friends can get ones next to you. But if people are buying their seats at the theater, that would mean you'd all have to arrive at about the same time to get seats next to each other, since you can't just reserve a seat by putting your coat over the one next to you. If you've got a larger group (say more than 2 or 3 people) this may be tough to coordinate, and sounds like a big headache to me. The location is great and parking is easy and ideal. You buy tickets now inside (yay!) and the staff are pretty nice. I was hoping with the upgrade you might be able to get food service inside the theater or get alcohol, but no they didn't go that far. The remodel is really working for this AMC theater. I would say the location is pretty great and parking is convenient. There aren't as many theaters as Regal Thornton, but the seats are definitely comfortable and the theater is spacious. I look forwarding to frequenting this theater more and more this year - now if MoviePass would just adjust their ticket prices accordingly. Their ticket prices went up as expected but apparently the prices haven't synced with MoviePass so I had to pay about a dollar extra in addition to the pass - no biggie, but I hope they get that fixed. read more

I always thought this theater would eventually turn into a cheap theater and am surprised to see it went for an upgrade instead. It definitely looks a million times nicer on the inside and now has reservable recliner seating. Lots of room for those who like to lay out and not have people tripping over them throughout the whole movie. My partner complains that no one would want to pick their seat ahead of time in case you end up sitting next to a child or a person with a cold, but I think its much better to have a guaranteed good spot and not have to worry about being to the movie an hour early. Prices are currently comparable to other local theaters, but I am worried they will raise once people catch on the upgrades have occurred. Parking here is a lot easier than the next closest theater. It is annoying that the regular bathrooms continue to be upstairs, but downstairs bathrooms are available for families and people with disabilities. I am thankful you no longer have to wait outside to buy tickets. read more

This is the best AMC I have been to. They are clean and have the "premium seat" which mean thy have the powered reclining seats. The employees has great customer service. They were kind and genuine. I did not feel like they were forcing good service. The theaters are clean, and well maintained. We will be coming to this theater from now on. read more

We just sat through a movie in a theater that was 58 degrees. No one bothered to tell us. After the movie team members said we should have left the movie to come tell them. They already knew. A Broken HVAC since yesterday at least. They said not all team members knew about it. No one warned us. This is a policy at AME. They tell team members to lie to guests or not inform them. My son works for AMC and they did the same thing last summer when the AC was out. "Just tell the we just turned it on and it will be on soon.." Rating: 0. Next time I will bring a blanket. read more

This joint is in the throes of renovation. Some of the theaters are finished. Some are not. So, they only show like three movies at any given time and those tend to be the crappier movies available at the time. The bathrooms are now in some weird spot. I imagine that will change when the renovation is over. But, when we were last there, the signs indicated that the women's restrooms were on the first floor and the men's were up some stairs in an even more obscure location. Men in wheelchairs will just have to hold it. I do love that the seats are all recliner seats. They even have a little tray table attached for your snacks. But, the lights stay slightly up during the show which can be a problem if you are sitting directly below one. The service at this location is actually good. A BIG YES to the newly revamped AMC Oak Tree! This theatre took a turn for the better with its updated interior and recliner seats. I'm honestly surprised that this location is generally not heavily swarmed by moviegoers. As other reviews have pointed out, it's a smaller theatre and doesn't have showings for all available movies (you'll definitely be able to watch most of the blockbusters though). Other than that, I really have no complaints. Friendly staffs, ample parking, and spacious seat! It's hard to beat! read more

Visited this theatre when the movie I wanted to see was sold out in every other theatre from here to Redmond. I had read the construction reviews and was hesitant to visit. I'm glad I went. Half the theatre was finished and it was nice inside. All new recliner seats. Pretty pleasant movie goers except apparently the older crowd doesn't understand the concept of reserved seating and you may have to tell people they are in the wrong seat. Also lots of popcorn smackers in there. Seats, sound quality, and prices were all good. Two tickets were about $25. Popcorn, nachos, and large drink was $25. Only downside is the bathrooms are upstairs and not easily accessible. And some of the construction is unsightly. Hopefully it will be finished soon! read more

Recliner seats. What more can I say? I remember being here once before and it was quite musty and it seems like they have remodeled! Spacious red recliner seats with ample leg room (no stepping over buckets of popcorn and feet on your way to the bathroom) even with maximal reclining. Although the smell can be off putting at first (newish leather smell?) and I found residual popcorn between the cracks of the seat. Tickets are entirely at self serve kiosks inside. Buy your drink at the counter and they will give you a cup to self serve at the multiflavor fountain machine on the left. 2 restrooms on the first floor are unisex/family. Upstairs have additional restrooms. Parking lot shared with the other businesses in the plaza. I did not have any trouble finding space. read more
