My daughter recently moved to Redmond, so we've made a habit of going to movies at IPIC. Super comfy recliners in "pods" of 2, with a place to put your purse, a cup holder for your drink, and a table for your food. There is a button you can push to call a server, but I've never had to do that as someone usually greets us shortly after we sit down. From what we've tried on the menu, I can recommend the quesadilla, the mac n cheese, the grilled cheese, and the fried chicken. The fries are really good. I've tried several cocktails and the mule is one of my favorites. The servers have always been really pleasant. One time a drink was not delivered that I had ordered but they didn't charge me for it without me having to ask. This movie venue isn't cheap. Tickets are $20 and the food menu isn't discount. The food is pretty good, and when I compare to what I'd pay for dinner and a movie elsewhere, IPIC comes out in that range. Note that they do add an automatic 18% service charge to the bill which isn't boldly stated. I was glad I saw that in another review and thought to look for it myself. The screen and sound are good. IPIC Redmond wasn't my first choice to watch a movie at because I had heard so many negative things about IPIC. But after visiting, I didn't hate it! I was actually surprised by how nice the entire place is. We ended up going to IPIC because the movie I wanted to watch was no longer playing in any of the other eastside movie theaters except at IPIC. I ended up paying beaucoup bucks, about $40 for two tickets and just sucked it up to watch my favorite movie director's newest flick. But I was easily able to get tickets online and reserve seats, making it super convenient to show up last minute. The seats are bundled in pairs, making it nice to have a date night here. The bundled seats include a table in the middle where your refreshments go. The seats recline and there's even a blanket on every seat. It was very comfortable watching a movie here, making the experience all the more fun. The menu features many different dishes and there's a full bar that you can get from your seat. They also have a bar to hang out in before and after the movie, as well as some games and a pool table. The bathrooms were amazing! Holy crap, I was surprised by how spacious, bright and clean they were. I wouldn't spend money to watch every movie here, but it is nice to have this option at Redmond Town Center. read more

My work had a wicked movie premiere event hosted at IPIC and it was fun! When we got to the bar seating section the service was fast and friendly to get us a drink. I tried one of the wicked cocktail signature drinks and it tasted so good like a lime popsicle. It's at the second floor of the town center, the sign isn't very large so it's easy to miss. The theater was really clean and the staff are very friendly. When you come in and when you go out there greet you and are very pleasant and polite. Bathroom was large and well kept. This is going to sound weird, but the napkins were really dense and high quality! The soap felt moisturizing and premium too. They did not skimp out on the bathroom. The seats are comfy large recliners. They even give blankets! Very easy to call the staff with a quick button click by the seats. The menu is scannable with a QR code. The food has more than just theater type of food. And just like a typical theater the foods are super pricey! Ordered a filet mignon, and was able to ask for medium rare. It came with fries, which can be upgraded to truffle fries. I would highly recommend the fries they are just the right amount of crispy. The filet mignon was good. Also ordered the seared tuna wrap. The wrap tortilla was quite hard to eat. It's also a bit messy cause the sauce just spills out. Would recommend getting something else. It gets really sticky and I didn't even bother finishing the tortilla. It was too stale. The tuna was good though, but very heavy on the furikake. Ice tea was typical. And also got the chocolate chip cookie. It was nice that they gave two cookies, but the food was so filling I could only finish one cookie. Great for splitting though. They already added gratuities. The service was great though, they routinely check in on us if we needed anything else out of we needed the space cleared. Movie quality is pretty clear and volume is loud. It's nice cause it feel's like you have a private seating area. Great for dates, not so sure if it's great for groups since it's paired seating. We had nachos at the bar before the movie and they were large and tasty except for large scoop of brown guacamole... maybe just leave it off? Dont scoop it onto my nachos. The person that checked us in to get our tickets was rude. We were asked if it was our first time at the theater I said I've been here before but it was my friends first time. The ticket attendant then said that I can give my friend the run down. Idk what run down she's talking about but her delivery was extremely rude. My spouse and I went to a movie Saturday night at 9:30 pm. This place was absolutely disgusting. The women's bathroom had five clogged toilets, the waste bins over flowing and paper towels and toilet paper all over the floor. Our waiter came to us one time before the movie and all we ordered was a root beer and water, took 30 minutes for it to come and we were charged an automatic 18% gratuity. Came here for a quiet movie date with the wife and from the outside I was wondering why in the world did I just drive a hour for. Then I opened the door and the inside was amazing, a nice bar, two pool tables and for some reason I was really impressed with the bathroom as well. I went to IPIC Redmond to watch Demon Slayer and really enjoyed the setup. The seats are comfortable and you can adjust them easily, which makes the experience relaxing. The service was quick and what we ordered came fast, the staff was attentive and friendly. The prices are definitely on the high side, for example we paid 13 dollars for a simple bottle of water, so you need to be prepared for that. You also have to expect interruptions during the movie, like when they check on you or bring the bill, which can be a little distracting. The only part I found unfortunate was the blankets. They are not washed between uses but simply reused for the next people, and it would feel much better to have a clean and fresh one. Overall I still enjoyed the experience, it was cozy, the movie looked and sounded great, and the service was efficient. read more

3.5 stars would be a more accurate rating. The experience itself is very luxurious. There's a free parking garage in the shopping center and tons of shops around. Your movie seat welcomes you with a blanket and reclining seats. I really like the "pod" concept, but imagine if you were going with more than 2 people it could be trickier. The food was good, definitely restaurant quality, but service takes a long time as other reviewers mentioned. Our first dishes came out pretty quickly. Shortly after the food got dropped off, we wanted to ask for more sauce ramekins for our fries and place another food order. It took probably 30 minutes for the server to come back (had already finished fries at this point so it wouldn't get cold). I also don't think they have a ton of vegetarian options (in comparison to Alamo Drafthouse for example). The actual theatre experience was good, but the seat rows aren't really at an incline, so if someone had sat in front of me, their head would be blocking a decent portion of the screen. Lastly, they don't play a ton of recent movies. We saw Companion, but they were also showing a lot of older movies like My Best Friend's Wedding and The Matrix. It could be cool to come here as a throwback night with friends, but for the price, I'd rather see a newer movie. read more

My preference in movie theaters still is iPic. For awhile I was concerned as I noticed a decline in just about everything, but it seems to have recovered. I love the pod seating and the reclining chairs. I'm grateful they have replaced the fading table numbers. I no longer have to take out my phone flashlight to see the barely legible letter number combo. I find their cocktails to be subpar, usually unbalanced toward very sweet, but I really enjoy their food options. I love the buffalo chicken spring rolls - minced chicken with some heat, cut up nicely to easily eat. They are very convenient tasty bites in the dimly lit theater. I also like their pizza when I want to share. It is too big for one person, in my opinion, but perfect for two. I especially love the burrata margarita pizza. If I am feeling in a rare mood I will order the popcorn. I legit love their popcorn with the cheddar cheese add-in as it is so cheesy and savory. I simply wish they had a smaller size option. The smallest size would take two popcorn lovers to eat. It is too big for me and I feel I leave too much behind. The service from the "ninja servers" (their designation) typically is very good. They are brief and professional - what you need for a server in a movie theater. The theater itself is fantastic. These aren't megaplex screens - they are smaller, but with great audio and visual. I enjoy the more intimate experience with other people who tend to politely listen. Disruptions are practically unheard of here. I go here frequently and will continue to go. I have tickets booked through their website for two films this coming July. It is the easiest way to get tickets, through their website, to be able to select the best seats. read more

Parking is around the corner in a lot. Theaters are on level two escalators are across the street. Theaters staff at the entrance will not give you any warmth all business almost to the point of being rude. 2 adults and a child with fees 63 dollars. Small theater good size clear screen you can order food to your seats. These are very wide seats They serve food to the seats through out the movie so it is non stop people either serving or cleaning up dishes or asking people what they wanted anything. I think this is the fanciest movie theater I've ever been to. It felt super classy, which made me feel better about the $20/ticket cost. We had eaten dinner beforehand, so we just ordered drink from our comfy chairs: Dragoncolada $16 and Spiced Pear and Ginger Mule $16. Both were tasty. I was especially impressed that you could really taste the spiced pear. We were in auditorium 6 and had seats C-3 and C-4. I thought it was a great view of the screen. It was cool how the seats were in pods of 2. Great for a date or with a friend, but I'd feel more awkward sitting next to a stranger compared to a regular theater. Disappointing experience overall. We went a few weeks ago during my children's holiday break and were expecting a nice night out. I asked for extra butter on my popcorn and it came out completely dry, basically no butter at all. When you're paying IPIC prices, that's pretty frustrating. On top of that, our drinks didn't arrive until about 30 minutes after we ordered them, and they came after our food was already served, which kind of defeats the point. The timing was way off and no one seemed to notice or care. The front desk staff were also rude and lacked basic customer service skills, which set a bad tone right from the start. I will say the ambiance in the bar area is nice, and the bathrooms are visually beautiful, but they were not well maintained. One of the toilets was actively leaking into the surrounding stalls, which was pretty gross to see. For how expensive this place is supposed to be, the service and overall upkeep really didn't match. I feel SEEN after reading several reviews commenting on the poor management and rude staff. I think this establishment may have forgotten that this is a customer service venue and that people pay premium prices to watch movies here. My experience - Upon arriving in the theatre, my husband and I ordered drinks and food, ordering more than enough to make the cost of all four tickets more than worthwhile to the theater. Meanwhile, my young daughters sat behind us with juice boxes I brought from home, as many of the beverage iPic offerings are geared toward older children and adults. This, after all, was a matinee showing of the Disney movie Zootopia 2, a movie for children. Yet our family was singled out and humiliated and asked to leave mid-movie. The manager's handling of the situation was entirely unprofessional. He refused to provide his name when asked, making it impossible to address the matter appropriately and raising serious concerns about accountability (later found out his name is Patrick). His actions were an unnecessary and unprovoked exercise of authority, which left my children confused, embarrassed, and upset during what should have been an enjoyable family experience. We were forced to leave about 20 minutes into the movie. I used to love this iPic pre-2020, but for the last 5 years, this place continues to get worse and worse. My bet is this places closes its doors in the next few years and makes space for a nicer theatre experience at Redmond Town Center. read more

I've seen reviews of slow service but for me the service came pretty quick for the amount of people in our theater. However, there was a lot of noise and things going on so I wouldn't come here to watch I movie i was very invested in (We saw the Minecraft movie here). Don't waste your money! Really disappointed by my experience at iPic last night. After 12 years as a loyal member, I tried to upgrade to Gold--but their system failed. Instead of handling it after the movie, management interrupted the film, refused to wait, escalated the situation, and ultimately banned us without hearing our side. Losing part of the movie was frustrating. Being dismissed afterward was worse. UPDATE: The manager had lied about what I said to her while she interrupted our movie multiple times, and their customer service team has repeated those lies on social media. IPIC is a special destination for us, my daughter took me as a Christmas gift. We enjoyed the reclining seats and drinks (Spiced Pear Mule - yummy). A couple things could have been improved, however. My daughter had trouble reserving our seat, found that reservations didn't reveal end of Feb dates until just a few days before so we scrambled to make reservations and plan our night out. She was told reservations updated weekly, but it appears to be more like monthly. We ordered our drinks at the beginning of the movie, and mentioned we'd like to order dessert later, wait staff never got back to us. It was a good experience for our group of 4. We arrived about 10 minutes before the movie. There is a button to press for service at your seat with a menu QR code. Our server was pleasant and our food was served in a reasonable time frame. They did check on us halfway through the movie to see if we needed anything else. The seats are paired in twos so even if you buy four seats there is a divider to separate the group. There is plenty of seating room, a cubby for your purse/bag, a cup holder on the side of your seating allowing for more table room for food/snacks, and the seats recline. It was great to have an actual meal while watching a movie vs the traditional popcorn and candy. Tickets per adult are $17 (online purchase/select seating). Menu prices vary but are available to view on their website. There is free covered parking within walking distance and restaurants/shops in the surrounding area. Booked online and arrived expecting it to be packed. It was suuuper quiet which was nice. Parking easy. Plenty of spots. It's lacking some of the appeal it use to have but overall it's decent. Seats recline. Tip- press your button in the table to light up blue signaling you want your order taken right when you get to your seat. I feel like kitchen timing has been way off. Best to get someone over quickly and get in your food order. Look up the menu in advance if you need to. Don't expect to get service from your server once movie starts. Youll most likely have a runner who brings drinks and food until end when given bill. Just make sure to eat ahead of time in case theyre out of something or you end up waiting forever for your food. Both happened ( they were out of fries- and it felt like our food didnt come out till half way thru the movie despite being one of the first in theater). The soda pop machine needed tending to- syrup was out of mine and it look 30+ minutes even after pressing attendant button to get someone to come to seat. The women's bathroom was out of toilet paper! There was only 1 stall with paper. Pros- it's a quiet movie experience and with a kid, it's nice to have pre booked seats. Cons- if you have an odd number of people in your group, it's a crappy experience as the pods are only grouped in 2 so theres a wall between you. We use to come here back when it was Gold Class Cinemas (when you received service). You received a blanket and it was really amazing service. For us, its a close theater and they usually have the movie playing that we want to see. Just lower your expectations before going if you use to come during it's prime days. Ipic is one of the only places I see movies! I love that you can reserve seats ahead of time and that you basically sit in a little pod. I get really directed by sounds and things in my peripheral, so the layout of the theater is perfect for me. I love being able to recline and have a little cupholder that doesn't block my view. My standard order is a truffle popcorn and sparkling water. The food is so so, but I always love their popcorn! They also have cocktails, which are pretty good. The small popcorn is definitely enough for two people. Missing one star because the service is so so. Most of the time when I go, they forget one thing or bring the wrong thing. This time they totally forgot the popcorn and we had to reorder. I'll still go back because I love the rest of the experience. read more

After reading some of the recent negative reviews, I was very skeptical to spend iPic prices for a family bday celebration - but so glad we did it anyway! Granted, we did see a midday (345p) on a Monday showing of a kid movie and were 4 of 6 people total in the theater. However, service was amazing! Laura took phenomenal care of us, set check in expectations, was responsive to our off-check in service call, and food runners were also polite and pleasant. We ordered a total of 2 entrees, 2 appetizers, a side, a kids meal, and 3 adult beverages. Everything came out in an appropriate amount of time, which was quicker than we were expecting based on reviews. Food wasn't bad, but did anticipate more complex flavors for the price points. My adult drink 'Something with Tequila' was light, refreshing, and you could taste the jalepeño in the tequila which was delightful! As some reviews call out, complimentary luxuries of the past are no longer such as the blankets and free popcorn, but the all-Premium Plus seats still recline, are still comfortable and still provide a posh theater experience. It is sad to see not just iPic, but Redmond Towne Center as a whole not as robust as it once was. Hope this luxury theater option survives, it really is a wonderful way to enjoy a movie! read more

I like the IPIC theatre in Redmond generally. The seats are comfortable, staff is friendly and food delivery at your seat is nice. However, I am submitting this negative review primarily based on their web/app and member experience. IPIC heavily promotes their paid premium memberships and I have been a subscribing Gold+ member for a number of years now. Each year, I receive a notice that my membership is about to renew and to ensure: * that I have a valid credit card on file, and * that my membership is set to Auto Renew = Yes Each year, I confirm both of these things and then on the renewal date, my membership does NOT renew and resets back to non-premium membership (even though I have earned points to achieve some of the highest tiers which means that we go to a lot of movies there). This is further exacerbated by the fact that no one in the branch has been able to help me, they just say that you need to submit a ticket to corporate. There's no phone number to call for help. Using the website, you can only submit a support ticket during regular business hours on weekdays EVEN THOUGH THE SUPPORT IS NOT LIVE and their feedback field is limited to 250 characters which is not adequate to describe the issues that are occurring. Response time is quoted at 2 days, but in my experience takes longer (if I ever hear back). I like the theatre, like the food, customer service staff are friendly. However, given that this occurs EVERY YEAR and takes a lot of work to resolve, I'm not sure that it's worth it and may take my business elsewhere. Update on July 5: Still nothing from IPIC Corporate. I submitted a FACEBOOK message per the instructions from the person below. No response there yet. Update on July 7: Its been a week...Still nothing from IPIC Corporate (two business day support indicated online) or the Facebook Messenger support that was suggested by the rep below. Buyer beware: when you order items during the movie, they auto gratuity as a line item. They list it with all of your other items so it's hard to see (especially in a dark theater). They then have a separate line for a tip. Almost ended up tipping 40% since it was dark and we couldn't really see the auto gratuity since it seemed to be mixed in with all the other items. I also don't recall seeing any warning that there is an auto gratuity, or if it is it is tiny. We used to love ipic, but the prices have gotten a bit insane now. The drinks and food do not warrant the steep price tag, along with $20 per seat. With regular movie theaters having law flat seats, ipic has lost what has set it apart. ETA to owners reply to me: might be helpful to have it on the actual menu/when you order as the person who bought tickets for everyone might not be the one who pays for the food. read more

DO NOT PAY TO WATCH LIVE SPORTS AT IPIC! Your viewing experience will be 10,000% better on your tiny phone screen. I was really looking forward to watching the Club World Cup final here, but I left with a headache after five minutes. Management decided to leave the lights on. This, combined with the crap DAZN broadcast quality, made the game literally unwatchable. You could not see the screen due to glare. I don't understand why management couldn't take five minutes to watch and see what the customer experience will be like before they start showing the $20/ticket game. It wouldn't be that hard! The first person I asked about the lights said, "Uh...I'm not your server. You need to hit your button." My own server, when he arrived, was apologetic, but said he couldn't do anything, so I left. They've made some changes since I was last here so updating my review. There are no free blankets, pillows or popcorn offered anymore. Asked for a blanket and was told by the waiter he'd bring one, but never did. I don't know if they charge for them or not; saw an ad to ask for one during the previews. The blankets and pillows are no longer waiting for you on the seats, probably due to covid. The seating has changed so the comfortable, plush recliners have been replaced by smaller, vinyl orange ones. They are surrounded by a black and grey wall that looks like the bottom of an egg carton. Not visually appealing. Can still see the people seated next to you on either side. Had a few servers come and go and they were all friendly. Besides the blanket mishap, bringing 2 bags of popcorn when we only asked for one and it being stale in both bags was a let down. Movie sound and quality were still great. The bar on the left of the lobby is gone, but the one on the right is still there with a gas fireplace. Hostess didn't ask for any ID when I checked in for our tickets. read more

Was in town for PAX West & Shang Chi was playing (Fantastic Movie Btw) so I looked up the nearest IPIC theater and luckily this one was only 30 minutes from my hotel. I usually go to the IPIC in New York so it was nice to see how this compared to it. 1st thing is this one is smaller & the bar area is connected where in New York the bar area is upstairs in like it's own restaurant. Lounge area was very nice, bathrooms were extremely clean, food is exactly the same. I thought different IPICS have different food but I was wrong. Same food, same drinks, same promotions everything. This made it very easy to order since I practically know the menu like the back of my hand. Got inside and saw that the seats were pretty much the same as New York also. Here you have to request your blanket so make sure you do that to get all comfy for the entertainment. Had me a few drinks with the movie. They let you know about 1 hour before the movie ends that it's last call so they don't disturb you at the end which is nice. Great experience, great movie I highly recommended this theater read more
