This was a first time experience for me and it was wildly fun and witty. From the moment we were greeted until the time we left - we were cared for with white glove service. Ok let's talk food- we had many courses in our meal - was fond of them all but particularly the chickpea curry - it was just the right amount and tasted nutty and soul warming. The performers were excellent. They interacted with everyone and made it fun! Bawdy, rowdy and amazing! I would give this a 9 out of 10! Would definitely come back and recommend to friends!

What an amazing date night! And on Valentines! Ah ya ya ya yay!! Highly recommended. Absolutely loved the performance. All the actors are super talented and what's fun is that they interact with you too. Bought premium seats and it was worth it cuz you get a good view of everything. And the band! Wow! Had me feeling everything they played. I think the food could be improved. I had salmon as my entree and everything tasted too salty on my plate. You're in for one incredible experience. We had a few cocktails and fly me to the moon was my favorite.

What a wonderful, fun, warm, and friendly venue. They deserve a Broadway show. I cannot tell how much fun I had with my husband. It was a late Valentines date and this was the best place to celebrate. Highly highly highly recommended! "The gays" love you!

Seating is comfortable for a long show, with good sightlines from where I sat. I also enjoyed the outdoor areas -- nice spots to hang out before the performance and a pleasant pre-show atmosphere. We were up pretty high in the second balcony, but still had a good view of the show. This is the sort of theater, where the higher up seats are closer to the "you get what you pay for" type seats than other places, we've been. This is a big enough theater that it does make a difference. Not a bad thing, just something to know. The acoustics here are lovely., And at least when a comedian is going, the sound is spot on. I will say, they've got the snacks and bar thing down. I think there were four total refreshment stations available across the number of different levels the lines moved quickly, and they had a good number of drink options, including alcohol and nonalcoholic beverages. I also appreciated the option of gummy bears! Everybody loves gummy bears! Unless you're communist. Then you probably like the sugar-free ones... Look up the review on Amazon! A wonderful theater, and one that you should check out if you have a chance.

It feels very covert, like you need to know a guy who knows a guy with a password to get in. You can also enter through the bar (I think). We initially went through the side door to get our tickets scanned in and then went in and out of the bar between acts to grab a drink. We weren't able to bring drinks into the actual theater, but not a huge deal. If anything, keeps the venue cleaner. There aren't any seats, just tiered standing platforms. Honestly, even with it being packed, I felt like we had a pretty good view of ~80% of the stage. The one thing I will say is that with everyone standing, you would think there'd be more movement/dancing. But alas, this is still Seattle and most people were bopping their heads to the music while I just wanted to swing around and feel it in my soul.

There is available street parking however it can be tricky and limited due to the narrow streets. The theater shares an entrance with a jazz bar which provides a comfortable seating area to enjoy a drink while waiting for a show. We came to see the Rocky Horror Burlesque Pastie Show and was impressed at the capacity of this small theater. Beyond the hallway, patrons are immediately welcomed to second bar and a sea of padded chairs. The theater was packed with Rocky Horror Picture fans with some proudly wearing costumes of their favorite characters. The show started a little later than advertised however we were kept entertained during the slight delay. The seats were comfortable and we had an unobstructed view of the stage. This was our first time seeing a Rocky Horror Show in burlesque and we didn't know what to expect. Audience participation was encouraged and specific names (which I will not repeat) were yelled out when either Brad or Janet took the stage. Overall, a wonderful group adventure night full of sing-a-longs, heckling, and cocktails. Drink prices and show tickets were cheap compared to other venues.

This is something you HAVE to experience at least once. It's awkward. It's raw. It's real. It's embarrassing as hell. Even if you aren't the one up there, you're gonna feel second hand embarrassment. I promise you. I mean... You're watching someone read their high school (or even middle school or elementary) diaries to a room full of strangers. And then on top of that, the MC is great at getting the crowd engaged and riled up. It really is such a great time. Bonus: They serve up draaanks during the shows! Get your buzz on and laugh your ass off. There's literally no better time than this. Are you still reading this? Okay, full stop... And go buy your tickets to their next show!

From the second I heard about it I knew that I had to check it out for myself. Listening to people read diaries and letters from their past sounded like the best time ever. Plus they sell drinks. I can not believe this concept does not appeal to some people. Unfortunately it is hard to get into and only one day a month, with tickets only being sold a month in advance. I hear the smaller venue often sells out. I signed up for the email and liked the facebook page to make sure I would stop missing it. It may be easier to get in if you are one of the brave souls who is willing to share their most vulnerable selves, but I am much more willing to pay the 15$ to watch others suffer, although I did debate volunteering to do chairs for free admission. Many months later I finally found a day I could go and convinced a friend to join me. We ended up arriving late and while we were super close had some items blocking our view of the stage. The pictures that go along with the readings are amazing, as is the sign language interpretation. It seemed like many readers may be frequents, but there were some newbies as well. I really enjoyed the commentary that accompanied the evening. Its also reassuring to know that their is a time limit in case its not a reader whose story enthralls you. Definitely check it out and if you can convince a friend to go on stage and read so they can take you for free!
