Came here to see the Taylor Swift eras tour movie. They had themed drinks which was fun. Food was good, but messy. The seats have small swivel tables but I found it difficult to eat my app and entree. They don't really come back to grab dishes, so if you ordered for a second drink delivery, you might not have somewhere to put it. Any food or drink you want during the movie you can go back out to the counter to get, or they will take your order for delivery 30 or 60 mins into the movie. Seats were comfortable, screen and sound was good. It's a fun hometown vibe theater. I'd come back just to sit in the bar and eat. 21+ only space!

Weird cheap interpretation of red vines, why not just use the box kind; felt extremely sick after eating one

Go to AMC instead! This is a weirdly small intimate theatre with strangers hearing all their mouth noises, also cost more than going to AMC. Cutting corners will cost you and it is apparent at Big Picture. The most glaringly obvious cost was putting red vines in glass cup yet charging more than the amount of them to be in a container. Immediately felt sick after eating them, clearly no sanitary measures taken with these. Would recommend to steer clear and just go to AMC. Gave us sprite after throwing up the red vines but still not a great experience since both of us got sick.

SO forget everything you know about movie theaters and head over to The Big Picture. This is a spectacular venue and literally one of my favorite places ever. It's a must visit stop on any trip to Seattle. The theater itself is small but spacious and there's not a bad seat in the house. Front row in particular, normally shunned by theater goers is particularly comfy with the addition of tufted ottomans. Here you can order food and booze that can be delivered to you in your seat at a predetermined time during the performance. You can also have their truffle infused popcorn or THE ABSOLUTE BEST HAMBURGER I have ever eaten. They have a bar, comfy chairs and couches that offer the perfect opportunity to chill before a performance and enjoy some great food & drink. The only drawback is the availability of seating because they do sell out quickly but if you're looking for something really cool to do and are a movie and food fan, I can't possibly give them a higher recommendation. It was well with the $100 in Uber rides to get there from my hotel and I'll be sure to be back soon.

I love this theatre so much I don't want to go anywhere else for a movie!! Sound and picture are top notch. I love the intimate feeling of it being so small. It's very clean. It feels safe, cozy and comfortable. Perfect for a date night. The service is excellent. I love the inviting space of their lounge. Anyone can enjoy drinks and smash burgers whether you're seeing a movie or not. Drinks were good and their truffle butter popcorn is just the best. I'd go there just for that!! You can have drinks delivered to you during the show too. I only wish they had more movie times and maybe two options at once.

It's literally the best smash burger I've had in a long, long time. Never did I expect to come into a movie theater and have one of the best burgers I've ever had

This place was really cool. We did a little bar hop to check out the area, so we didn't stay for a movie, but hanging out in the bar was really nice, and the atmosphere is great. We loved the setup and a big bonus for my husband was that they were playing football in the background. We will definitely be back to check out a movie.

The Big Picture is a welcome addition to downtown Issaquah! A one screen theater, the Big Picture allows patrons to reserve seats in advance of upcoming show times. Their movie theater has just over 30 comfy seats limited to those 21 and up. When you walk in, the lounge atmosphere is awesome. The bar area has nice seating from couches to tables, a few TVs, and a full service bar. Drinks are movie themed and I recommend the "atomic blonde" cocktail. When you order your first round of concessions, you are offered a mid-movie preorder. We went to see Batman, which had two in-movie services, presumably due to the length of the film. We didn't try the food, but several others appeared to really enjoy the popcorn. Looking forward to going back to the Big Picture!

Great evening - Dinner and a Movie and to top it off - drinks served to your seat! Recommend going!

This place is so awesome! We went here last night. It has a great atmosphere. I love the drinks, dinner and a movie concept. The drinks were very tasty! I got the scarlet witch. I would get it again. 10/10 delicious. There was classical music playing. It felt very upscale and fancy. I love the no children concept. I don't want to be around grubby children. And the movie was funny! Check this spot out if your in the area.

There is a button you can push to call a server, but I've never had to do that as someone usually greets us shortly after we sit down. From what we've tried on the menu, I can recommend the quesadilla, the mac n cheese, the grilled cheese, and the fried chicken. The fries are really good. I've tried several cocktails and the mule is one of my favorites. The servers have always been really pleasant. One time a drink was not delivered that I had ordered but they didn't charge me for it without me having to ask. This movie venue isn't cheap. Tickets are $20 and the food menu isn't discount. The food is pretty good, and when I compare to what I'd pay for dinner and a movie elsewhere, IPIC comes out in that range. Note that they do add an automatic 18% service charge to the bill which isn't boldly stated. I was glad I saw that in another review and thought to look for it myself. The screen and sound are good. It can get busy at times, but luckily I was still able to find a spot without any trouble. The theater itself is on the smaller side, but it's really nice inside. We ended up going after 4 PM, so tickets were about $18 each, and we also got a regular popcorn for $11. Overall, I really loved the experience, the reclining seats were super comfortable, and I'm a huge fan of recliners because they make everything feel so much cozier. The movie was really good as well, and while there were about 30 minutes of ads, that's clearly mentioned when you purchase tickets online, so there's no pressure to arrive exactly on time. There also weren't many people sitting near us, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and gave it an overall great vibe.

There were plenty of trailers before the movie, though there must not have been enough future movies for the in-seat audience: played the one for Wuthering Heights (2026), convincing me to think we were in the wrong theater. The seats were plush, wide, and reclining, making me wish all movie theater seats were like this. It was a long movie (2h 35m), but went by quickly, in part to the theater.

The concessions can vary, sometimes the popcorn is the little tiny crumbs but more often is full sized and fluffy. The original cinema was Lincoln Square Cinemas that they took over, which is a decent traditional multiplex with an IMAX screen and chairs arranged in stadium seating that actually lean back a bit. The lobby is open and has lots of room for displays promoting other films. On the left hall, the rows of screens is quite expansive which could make for quite a walk to the bathroom or to get concessions and bring them back. It might not be a bad thing to have some of them renovated to be like their Totem Lake location. The Cinemark Reserve is a whole other thing, and truth be told really deserves a separate Yelp entry. It is meant to be a premium experience. Like the iPic in Redmond it is an electroncially reclined seat with seat warmer and a table for a meal with waiter service. It's 21+ only and they serve alcohol. The finishes on the walls are slightly more premium but not too much above and beyond their newer Totem Lake location. There is a big lobby area for concessions but a lot of the walk-up food service areas have fallen into disuse after covid. Cost-cutting wise they're really pushing kiosk ticket buying, which is fine, but yesterday the printers weren't working, so the kiosks could take your credit card payment and then leave you with nothing. When they radioed for the manager it probably took half an hour for the manager to show up. I noticed the cost cutting at the original cinema too as the one person that could sell you a ticket is also the person who checks you in on entry. That being said, there really isn't an alternative to watch the latest blockbuster or buzzy indy/foreign film in the West Bellevue area than here and they do their reasonable best to ensure a good experience.
