Iphixation is a joke! If you value your time avoid at all cost. After having my device for over 3 months for a busted screen I received it back in much worse condition than I dropped it off. I would rather use the device with a busted screen.
I dropped my device off in the beginning of March to have a broken screen fixed. Due to it being at the end of the business day I was told to expect to have it by the end of the next day. After contacting them the next day I was told by Brad that he knew nothing of my device and that Adam was the person who was working on the item. After multiple "the part is on backorder" excuses I was fed-up and talked to manager in person at the Paradise Valley Location, who happened to be Adam. One month and 2 days later I discovered that my device was not working properly due to a list of issues that arose from the person who started the repair and apparently broke multiple components on the device. The blame was then passed to multiple people other than taking responsibility as a manager and fixing the problem. I sent an email on Wed, Mar 28, 5:40 PM to customer service with no response. On April 9th I was informed by Adam that he will repair the device himself and have it ready on the 11th. On the 11th of April I received a lengthy text message from Adam stating that he tried multiple glass digitizers and the touch interface no longer works and that he needs to take the iPad to an outside source to have it trouble shot and will be a few more days to determine the issues. After being ran around multiple times stating that their outside source was still working on the issue I received another lengthy text message from Adam stating that he no longer works with the company. Within his text message he stated that someone by the name of Ashley would be ably to address my situation.
Upon contacting Ashley, she had no idea that there was even an issue, so once again I had to start from ground zero trying to piece together what needed to be passed along from all my countless conversations with the employees that worked at the Paradise Valley location and figure out what was the best course of action from this point forward. I was assured that Ashley would take care of the issue and have my iPad fixed and returned to me as soon as possible. On May 8th, 62 days after I dropped off the iPad for a cracked screen I was once again informed that there was yet another issue with the company doing the internal repairs. After driving from Deer Valley to their Tempe office just so I can talk to Ashley face to face to determine when the repair will be finished I was once again told that she will look into it. On May 23rd, I was informed that the internal repairs were completed but the iPad was still in pieces and needed to be put back together and that it would be completed on that day. The next day I was informed that the repairs were completed and to meet her at Paradise Valley mall's location to pick up my device, finally. Upon arriving at PV mall, I discovered that Iphixation no longer exists. After 30 minutes of trying to make contact I was informed by Ashley that their was an issue while in route to PV and if we could meet at Metro Center later. Finally at 10pm in the Walmart parking lot I have my device in hand. Upon first inspection I noticed that the lock button on the top of the device is inoperable, a digitized code on the screen "4904T" (was told would disappear after a full battery cycle, after 4 cycles is still there, the lower part of the screen is not glued down and after a reboot the screen didn't work until a reset was performed. Two days later the home button stopped working altogether now I have an expensive paper weight. I was informed that if there were any problems to bring the iPad back to Iphixation for them to "FIX" it, now I'm left with the dilemma of waiting for disappointment from Iphixation or cutting my losses. read more
