Oh, The Galleria! My ex-husband is from Houston and I've…read morebeen to The Galleria many, many times. In fact, I started going long before I knew my husband. My dad also lived in Houston and we'd often do shopping or eating at the mall. My daughter (who is now 30) loved (& still does) skating at the ice rink during the holidays. It's a magically fun experience. The Galleria is always incredibly decorated for the holidays. I still get to Houston 1-2 times a year and always enjoy visiting The Galleria. The Galleria itself has not only the ice rink but office space, two hotels, lots of places to eat, and shopping. The retail offerings range from shops like H&M, Macy's, and Nordstrom to high-end luxury shops like Gucci & Chanel. We were there just a few months ago and it was just as fun and exciting as my first visit! Gang, there are so many stores here. Like crazy amounts (a few hundred). It's very large and easy to navigate and of course gets extremely busy during peak times. A must-visit for locals and tourists alike.

Shopping can be hit or miss, and on this particular day, it was definitely a miss. My friends and I…read moreare dedicated bargain shoppers, and despite our best efforts, the Houston Galleria wasn't giving up any deals. With only about an hour before leaving Houston, our shopping mission was more of a speed run than a leisurely browse. Even without scoring any purchases, the Houston Galleria remains an impressive destination. The moment you step inside, you experience bright lights, multiple levels of stores, and a steady stream of shoppers that create an energetic, bustling atmosphere. Beyond shopping, the mall offers entertainment options such as its iconic indoor ice-skating rink, making it easy to spend an entire day there. One of the Galleria's biggest strengths is its variety. Luxury retailers like Chanel and Louis Vuitton share space with more accessible brands such as Banana Republic and American Eagle, offering something for nearly every budget and style. Whether you're on a focused shopping mission or simply window-shopping, there's plenty to explore...even if, in our case, we left empty-handed. The dining options are equally diverse, ranging from food-court favorites to sit-down restaurants like The Cheesecake Factory and Shake Shack to Chic-fil-a. While we didn't find the bargains we were hoping for, our fast-and-furious shopping adventure was filled with laughter and great conversation, and the kind of fun that comes from spending time with good friends. Sometimes spending quality time with friends is the best find of all.

Uchiko and Uchi are both incredible sushi restaurants perfect happy hour and date night…read more I stopped by Uchiko for happy hour and it is great. I visited sister restaurant Uchi and I loved the experience so much I came back to Uchiko for date night and the service was equally as wonderful. We went with the Somakase, we gave our budget, preferences, and sat by the sushi bar. The server created such a lovely experience she went above and beyond and brought us two desserts in the end. The famous fried milk dessert and citrus sorbet similar kiwi dessert they were absolutely delicious!!

I've been here twice before, and both experiences were exceptionally amazing, from the food to the…read moreservice. Unfortunately, for some reason, this visit went a little differently. Our server was very nonchalant throughout our meal, to the point where it came across like he didn't really care about our dining experience. I ordered the $25 lunch prix fixe, which included the Hirame Crudo, Burger, and Sorbet. My boyfriend ordered the Hamachi and Sake Maki, Karaage, and Steak Frites. I expected the appetizers to come out first, followed by our entrees, so my boyfriend and I could actually enjoy our meal together. Instead, my entire prix fixe meal came out first, followed by some of the appetizers, while my boyfriend's entree was nowhere to be found. His Steak Frites did not come out until the VERY END, after we had already informed our server that we were finished with our meal. Only then was the entree brought out. What made the situation more disappointing was that there didn't seem to be much concern about the timing. Our server simply suggested packing his meal to go. I didn't appreciate finishing my entire meal first and then having to sit and watch my boyfriend eat his entree at the end. We came to enjoy lunch together, and the pacing made it feel like we were eating two separate meals. As for the food, I would skip the maki. The quality of the sushi roll honestly wasn't even comparable to buffet sushi. The burger is usually delicious, but because I waited for my boyfriend's food to come out before eating mine, it ended up being cold. The Karaage was too sweet for my liking and had too much fish sauce. The Steak Frites were good, but they would have been much more enjoyable if they had arrived on time. I'm not sure what happened with the Steak Frites, but considering they did not come out until after we told our server we were finished with our meal, it felt like the order may have been forgotten or not entered in a timely manner. To make the experience even more frustrating, when we received our bill, we noticed that we had also been charged for an extra burger that we never ordered. After everything that had already happened with the timing and service, seeing an additional item incorrectly added to our tab just made the overall experience even more disappointing. Overall, this visit was disappointing, especially because my previous two experiences here were genuinely amazing. I know this restaurant is capable of providing much better food and service, which is why this experience stood out so much compared to my previous visits.

The music was pumping and the instructor had so much energy. The class was challenging while still being very structured. You will get a wonderful workout and feel amazing afterwards. Highly recommend that you don't plan to do much after this class other than go home to shower as you WiLL sweat. The studio is very bright and clean and they have some great LED mood lighting to pump up the workout. There were mirrors all around so you can see your form and lockers to place your loose items in. The team was super friendly and kind and you ever get a nice cold towel after class to cool down. Form gifted me a free class so I will take advantage of that for sure! Thank you for adding something new to my fitness journey!

Definitely one of the more challenging studios, which is what I loved that most! The reformers can look intimidating, but ask for help! Don't be shy! The classes are 45 minutes long and you'll feel accomplished after! The scented cold rags at the end of class are a delight! Parking is available in the garage that connects to the shopping center. Parking is free up to two hours. You can book online through the website or on the app. I definitely recommend trying out the two week unlimited if you're hesitant on making a commitment! AND- At the end of class, you'll receive a "$5" bill that you can choose what organization you'd like the donation to go to! Definitely worth a try if you're loving reformer classes!
