An Absolute Gem - Ask for Jay!…read more I had an incredible experience at Bahama Mama! From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was different. The store was spotless, well-organized, and had an amazing vibe that made browsing easy and enjoyable. I was helped by Jay, who was patient, extremely knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to answer all my questions and really knew the ins and outs of their products -- which is no small feat considering their selection is massive. Whether it was CBD, vapes, or wellness items, Jay guided me without ever being pushy. You can tell the staff here is well-trained and passionate about what they do. Bahama Mama offers a huge range of products -- from CBD (even pet CBD!) to vape mods, kratom, intimacy products, detox kits, and more. It's like a one-stop shop for everything alternative lifestyle and wellness-related, and yet it still feels high-end and welcoming. The location was super convenient, and the whole experience felt elevated compared to any other shop I've been to. You can tell the vision behind Bahama Mama is to offer not just products, but an experience -- and they totally nailed it. I thought that I had seen it at Sprouts but all they carry is the topical CBD cream, not what I wanted. A young man working in the supplement section told me to try Vapor Trends that was just a few blocks away on Height Blvd. I headed over and to be honest I was a lil apprehensive to go in...that may sound silly but I have never been in a "smoke shop" before and always thought they were creepy. I bit the bullet and went in passed the blacked out windows and doors. I was immediately greeted by a young nice looking fella who's appearance was totally what I expected. Black clothes, sleeved out tattoos black hat. However his presents and attitude was not what I expected. He was friendly, not intrusive, helpful and VERY knowledgeable of the CBD products, I felt comfortable as soon as he began to help me. I inquired about the oils and for they next 10 mins he gave me the CBD 101 Class, answered all my questions, helped me with dosage and showed me the other CBD products. I chose what I wanted and he even offered a small but helpful discount as a first time customer in his store...I assume he is the manager, if not he should be. As I walked to the rear of the store to pay, I noticed how nice the build out was and well kept the store was...that was something else I did not expect. I asked him for a card paid my bill and went on my way. Im new to CBD but I can tell you that if it does fit in my lifestle Jon B and Vapor Trend will be my go to place!
