They have a nice selection of cigars and they are not overpriced. One thing I noted that I think makes a difference to new smokers. Is they identify the strength of the cigar mild, medium or full body. If you are serious Smoker and want to have a locker they do rent lockers in the price is $300 per year. Humberto told me that they instituted a new rule this year that a person must purchase 52 Cigars per year. They also sell pipes, cigar cutters, and lighters. They do not sell alcohol nor are you allowed to keep alcohol in your locker if you decide to purchase one. I have to say, this place has a lived in feel! The wood floors counter in furniture add to the oral field and character of the place. Reminds me of Cuba except here there's air conditioning and ceiling fans. They have those in Cuba. I was trying to come up with the the feeling here that the owners are trying to create an I believe that word is community. Cigar Smoker if they're not doing it as a fad or a different breed, we like to enjoy our hobby our passion for Cigars wanting to know where the filler is from the binder and the wrapper. The blending of the different tobacco's from different regions and countries married to create a unique taste and flavor. When I first walked into this place it was strictly because of how close it was to me. From the first interaction I had with the manager, Nick, in the store, I could tell that their priority was both customer service and information. I never felt embarrassed to ask a question and I have always felt respected as prospective customer. In regards to the selection, this is one of the main aspects that really impressed me. Everything was neatly organized and genuinely gave you a sense of innocent curiosity that would keep you inside the store a little bit longer than you may have anticipated. This is where the store truly shines as you never feel like you are a burden to the employees. Employees not only make an effort to remember your name, but remember your preferences but also any suggestions they may have given you. All in all, every time that I walk into the store it is such a pleasant experience that I lose track of time. After treating these kinds of stores as you seen them once you've seen them all I realize that this is the one store that I really appreciate its existence, and the people in it. Do yourself a favor and just go in to check it out. No one pressures you, or harasses you, in order to get you to buy something which I absolutely love. Seriously check this place out. My wife and I have been shopping at this store since they opened. They have a great selection, fair prices, and the owners are friendly and knowledgeable. There are many smoke shops in Houston, but this one, conveniently located next to Star Pizza, offers the newest, safest, and most effective products available. The store is always clean, well stocked, and organized. It is a great place for gifts, the most advanced tobacco products, and smoking accessories. Minors beware...these people are professional, and abide by all state regulations regarding tobacco sales. They are open daily, from 10 - 9 (hours might be different on Sundays, check their website). Unlike some new businesses along the Washington Corridor, we hope Herb-N-Legend is here to stay. read more

My girlfriend had just purchased a new vape at another nearby store, and promptly broke it as we exited the car to grab pizza. We noticed Herb n Legend right across the parking lot, and instead of driving back into the Heights, we decided to give Herb n Legend a try. It was the best decision of the night. Not only did they have the exact same vape at a lower price, we had enough money left over to buy a pipe I had been wanting. I came in with a weird ask. I had seen Erlich on Silicon Valley with a custom piece that was essentially an ash catch and a mouthpiece put together with clips. The only reason I'm giving them one star is because you can't give them zero. I went into this smoke shop last night only for them to refuse selling me the hookah hose that I wanted. It was like the person at the register couldn't listen effectively or something. I told him over 5 times which hookah hose I wanted and he still rang me up for the wrong one. After he handed me the one I specifically told him I DID NOT want (which was a measly temporary hookah hose that's disposable), I had to re-explain that was not the one I wanted. And do you know this person had the audacity to ask which one I wanted after he had already been told 5 times? He put his hand on the one I wanted and then still gave me the one he pretty much thought I should have. I promise it was almost like he was on drugs or something. I would never go back to the smoke shop as far as I'm concerned they owe me the money I paid for this object that I don't want. Then the other guy in the store insisted that he could go ahead and ring me up for the one I wanted... Well you should've did that in the first place sir. The store is not well kept in the first place especially considering the area it's in. It's questionable when you first walk in. Smoke Alley is down the street, don't even waste your time with these charlatans.
