Got the Mexican mocha, and the marionberry spice cake. The cake tasted homemade. I'm not sure if it was. But it was absolutely delicious. I got it to go but ended up eating most of it while I waited on the mocha. The mocha was good as well. Great place to read or hop on the laptop.

Love the pesto bagel. It's so good but use to be cheaper like everything else before inflation. Was surprised they don't have matcha. Such a bummer bc I don't drink coffee anymore. If you want a good bagel sandwich though go here

Arguably the best breakfast I have ever eaten. Where do I begin? The local art on the walls, community events pasted on the walls n windows, the friendly knowledgable customer service! You wont find anything more local than this spot. The competition should just pack it up and move to another city. The bagels were cooked so evenly and the cream cheese complimented it perfectly! My burrito was above and beyond in flavor, presentation and price. White mocha iced latte we were told was the sweetest drink they offer and it was sweetened perfectly! Still here reading my review? What are you waiting for? Get off your butt and check this place out!!

I don't know why people come here. Interior is crusty. Tables and chairs are probably from goodwill. Coffee was so mediocre. And bagel was so meh.

Honestly such a cute place!!! The food was delicious, the coffee was amazing, and the staff were all incredible. The staff knew several regular customers by name which, honestly, WOW! Love the atmosphere and i'm excited to return soon.

I got there coco coffee and it was so good! :) I loved the taste of coconut in the coffee. Loved the bagels they have, we got a sun dried tomato bagel and it was pretty good and we also split a burrito which was good as well. Super cute and feel good place. Loved how they had real plants growing. :) we will be back.

A lavender white mocha ~ so yummy.

One of the best breakfast bagels I've ever had, don't remember what it was called but it had these amazing portabello mushrooms.

The best vegan and vegetarian breakfast in town. Sometimes the food can take a bit to come out so don't go here if your rushed on time.

Farmers market mornings and brunch this good? Tough combo to beat in Corvallis…read more After strolling through the Corvallis farmers market on a sunny Saturday morning, we popped into Odd Bird Café for brunch and completely understood why the place was packed. We grabbed a patio table instead of waiting inside and really enjoyed the atmosphere, though the QR code ordering system made things a little tough when trying to grab extra coffee, water, or ask questions without a server around. The Birdy Mary was solid but landed around a 6/10 for me, missing some of the spice and depth I personally like in a great Bloody Mary, but the hot drip coffee absolutely hit the spot. The food, though, was outstanding. My wife and I split the BLT with crispy bacon and avocado spread, paired with potatoes that were somehow crispy, soft, and packed with flavor all at the same time. Our daughter and son-in-law ordered the "I'm the Good Kind of Fat" special with house-smoked salmon, poached egg, arugula, and avocado on sourdough, and every bite looked better than the last. Odd Bird feels like one of those spots that fits Corvallis perfectly: relaxed, local, busy in the best way, and serving food that makes you want to come back next weekend. #CorvallisEats #BrunchGoals #OddBirdCafe #FarmersMarketMorning #OregonEats #FoodieFind

Rainy Day, Great Bar Seat, and One Memorable Meal…read more It was a cold, rainy Oregon afternoon when I stumbled into Castor, and I'm glad I did. There happened to be one open seat at the bar, which is my favorite place to dine when traveling. Sitting at the bar lets you talk story with the bartender, learn the menu, and watch the cocktails come together. If you're eating alone, I highly recommend grabbing a seat here. The bartender was friendly, easy to talk with, and clearly knew both the menu and the craft behind the bar. One thing that stood out right away was their use of fresh local ingredients, which really shows up in the flavor of the dishes and drinks. I started with the Golden Manhattan, made with a pecan-infused bourbon that was fantastic. It had a rich, slightly nutty flavor with warm vanilla notes and just the right touch of sweetness. Smooth, balanced, and a great way to kick off the meal. Alongside that I ordered the chorizo clam chowder, which brought a creamy base with just the right amount of spice from the chorizo. Comfort food with a little personality. For dinner I switched gears and ordered the Creole Sour. This one really stood out. Bright citrus up front, a smooth bourbon backbone, and a subtle spice note that tied perfectly into the Creole theme. It had that classic sour balance, tart, slightly sweet, and refreshing without overpowering the drink. Dinner was the gumbo with hot bread and butter, and it delivered. Deep flavor, a nice slow warmth from the spice, and hearty enough to make the rainy Oregon weather feel like part of the experience. To finish things off I kept it simple with a neat pour of Ben Holladay, which made for the perfect nightcap. The staff were welcoming and relaxed, which made the whole experience feel easy and comfortable. This is the kind of place that works whether you're dining solo, meeting friends, out with someone special, or grabbing dinner with a group. The price point landed right where it should be for the quality of food, cocktails, and service. If you're in Corvallis and can grab a seat at the bar at Castor, take it. Order a cocktail, settle in, and enjoy the ride. It turned a rainy afternoon into one heck of a meal.

My partner's chicken was dry and tough, and my Shrimp and Grits was nothing like I know from Texas and Louisiana. The grits were drowned in a clear broth, and the shrimp were totally bland, with nothing of the zesty Cajun spice typical of the dish. I had to ask for salt. Not what I would expect from a restaurant that calls itself "Southern inspired." They need a new chef.

I always enjoy my latte here. I've also tried out their sweet and creamy cold brew (a little too sweet but as a treat it was great!) and their cortado which are both solid. My go to dish is usually the acai bowl. Plenty of textures, flavors, and a good amount of sour and sweet that makes it's perfectly balanced. The only downside is that the spoons that are provided are a little big for the bowl that you are given, so you are bound to spill a little bit. The Mexican bowl is okay, but not quite my personal preference since there is more of a curry taste to it. Overall come and give Bodhi a try!

Though busy on a Wednesday afternoon (it was the day before Thanksgiving after all), we found a table and had a great meal. I loved my latte and biscuits and gravy! Everything was tastefully presented and had wonderful flavors. The portion sizes aren't too big, so don't expect a huge meal. I found the biscuits and gravy to be filling for a brunch, but someone with a bigger appetite might want to opt for something more substantial. The staff did a great job getting many orders out in a fairly short amount of time, and based on my meal, they weren't sacrificing quality in the process. The cafe norms are pretty standard for a seat-yourself cafe where you order at the counter, pick up your food at the counter, and bus your own table. I found Bodhi Cafe and Bakery to be exactly what I needed, and look forward to returning.
