    Sugar makers breakfast

Everything was very good. Great pancakes- light and fluffy and fast service. Will be coming back!

What a way to end our camping trip in New Hampshire. It's hard not to earn five stars when you make your own maple syrup. Everything brought to the table was five stars. We were seated promptly, and although we were not in the main dining room or waters were never empty and neither were our coffee cups. If you're anywhere in the Henniker area, do yourself a favor and get breakfast here

Really cozy, family-owned spot to grab breakfast if you are stopping by Pat's Peak. I got a takeout order, and it came out pretty quickly. The sugar maker plate was perfect for a hungry person. Pancakes were nice and fluffy. Bacon, sausage, and eggs were done right.

All in all a solid breakfast spot. Everything was perfectly cooked and food came out pretty fast. Did not wait long to be seated though I hear sometimes it does take longer to be seated than to be served. Had the not so hungry man breakfast with a side of hash, added cranberry and apple to my pancake. The hash is not likely to be homemade. Everything hit the spot. Real maple syrup on the table for no extra charge. Cute wood building with sturdy wood slab tables. Only serves benedict and hollandaise on the weekend.

My wife and I passed by here in our way to a job and stopped in for breakfast The outside was really nice and well Taken care of and the inside was absolutely gorgeous but we took our food to go and ate outside at one of the picnic tables. The food was great and came out really quick we got the sugar maker breakfasts they were well priced and delicious and honestly we could have split a breakfast but I wanted leftovers and our waitress couldn't have been lovelier she even wrote down a few local swimming holes for us to check out! I give this place a 9/10 we will definitely be coming back soon!!

The place is extremely busy on weekends, so expect to wait quite a long time - we waited for about 30 minutes before we got seated. They have indoor and outdoor seating, although the outdoor seating is either by a busy road up front or by a dusty dirt parking lot, so I didn't see the appeal. The seating we got was by the front door, which has people constantly coming and going - not the most relaxing or enjoyable situation for a Sunday breakfast to be honest. The service was fast and efficient. We ordered: The large breakfast platter and split that, which comes with a $2 up charge if you want an extra plate (completely fine by me). We usually order too much food and this way we don't overeat. The plate came with bacon too crispy and the sausage links which were OK. The eggs were cool by the time we had the food served. The best part of the platter were the pancakes, which we ordered with blueberries. They were fluffy and well cooked with tons of blueberries inside. The restaurant makes their own maple syrup which was also really tasty. Overall very picturesque place but too busy for my taste and even though the service is great, they need more help.

First of all, it's on a cute little Main Street that has some historical signs and statues which I love to see. There's parking on the road and we did not have trouble getting a spot despite it being a weekend. They have some offerings in a couple fridges such as pastries and yogurt and there is a sandwich and drink menu. I ordered the ham and jam on a croissant, which is ham and raspberry with Brie I believe. It needed more cheese and less jam I would say. I still enjoyed it though! I had a tough time picking a sandwich because there are so many good options! My pistachio latte was also really good, and they had some good coffee specials. They'll call your order when it's ready and you can bring it to one of the tables they have in the small dining room. It's really cute inside with a stately fireplace, and people were doing work or catching up with friends. You could also sit out on the porch but it was a wintry April... but so bet it's great in the summer!

That said, the coffee, food, and service are worth it! There are two seating rooms and one of them opens out to restrooms and a very small shopping/business mall. The tables and chairs are thick, heavy, rustic wood reminiscent of a country kitchen, and the acoustics are pretty good! No echoes or a need to yell to friends or family at your own table. The service is stellar! Lots of students work here and they are top notch. The food is outstanding. Their hash browns are literally the best I have ever had. They are wispy and crispy, and will not leave grease on your plate or in your belly. The eggs are always perfect, no matter how you ask for them, and the pancakes are the best you can get without making them yourself at home. They are served with a syrup, but for $2.00 extra (at the time of this posting), you can get real maple syrup instead. By the way, their coffee is not limited to regular and decaf. There is a delightful coffee drinks menu for options to enjoy at your table or to go! Tucker's also does take out, so you really have not excuse to miss this delightful place.
